WE WANT SEASON 2!!!!!!!!

We would just love to know what happens next as how does Wang Xiyi deals with Anna after he said that it isn't over yet .....I haven't watched the original drama but I would love to see Xing Zhao Lin and Liang Jie back in this kind of setting again.....SEASON 2 PLSSS!!!!!!!!.....LOVE YOU XING ZHAO LIN ...

I have watched all the the version except jap
This version has to be the BEST! Every details, characters, ost , it’s just amazing..
And no words for their chemistry and acting
Loved the Taiwanese version but Chinese one has just blew my mind away
I love the fact how they didn’t make a jerk like other version..loved xiyi’s character..
I have laughed cried with every episode..waiting for the new episodes.. First of all, out of all the versions of this drama, this one had the best couple in my opinion since I've seen their chemistry in The Eternal Love 1&2. While watching though, I couldn't help but compare it to the first and original Taiwanese version (I rewatched this 4 times already).

Characters: I liked the characterisation of the male lead better in this version because he made up his made earlier on and he wasn't a complete jerk like in the Taiwanese version and blamed everything on the female lead. This was also because he wasn't drugged by her relatives so he couldn't blame it on anyone. However, since he was portrayed as a better character, that also meant that Anna was portrayed as more of a bad person. Of course, I liked how his aunt and cousin were also portrayed to be not as bad as in the Taiwanese version but this also meant that there fewer complications that give the drama some depth. Dylan as the second male lead was more significant in the Taiwanese version and had a deeper connection with the female lead since she always went to him for relationship advice. He also backed her up more and gave her justice by exposing the truth prior to the car accident scene. I watched SO MANY like literally hundreds of c dramas bruh and I can say the chemistry between the leads is unmatched. It's too good hmm maybe too believable LOL. I can vouch that if one or both of these actors were replaced this drama would have probably done a lot worse. If y’all go to the deep side of the c drama lists ur gonna find some pretty bad acting, acting worse than a 5 year old lying to their mom. Let's talk about the plot next. Yes, this plot is definitely cliche and gives me a mix of a lot of diff versions of other dramas that I have watched but that is exactly what makes this drama enjoyable. It’s like you and the drama are connected thru telepathy or sum shi cause u know damn well what's gonna happen next but even after having this massive juicy brain and knowing what’s gonna happen, you just can’t help but to continue watching. You start to crave the dramas’ happy moments, heartwarming moments, and even the most painful and heart wrenching moments. This drama might not really spark your interest because of the plot's clicheness and I totally 100% get that. But what separates a shitty cliche drama to a successful cliche drama is how its able to evoke the audiences’ emotions. I can’t even believe I'm saying this but yea even during their happy moments I cried. During their painful moments I even uGLY CRIED. I’m already ugly enough and I mf ugly cried. That’s when you know it's good. Now speaking of the og “You are my Destiny” dramas. I only watched the Taiwanese version and not the other 3 adaptations so idk if my opinion is valid here. Compared to the Taiwanese version the Chinese adaptation was less painful to watch. Now that I look back at it Taiwanese ML was such a scum, he literally belonged to the streets but my 10 year old self couldn’t even comprehend that. But because ML was such an a$$ (more than Chinese ML could ever be) that was what made the Taiwanese version even more heart wrenching and emotional and that is why those who have watched the Taiwanese version are so emotionally attached to it (yea im calling u out) and thats why SO many people are complaining about the Chinese version not standing out/boring. In addition bruh, when you repeatedly watch 4 adaptations of the SAME plot with the same characters you are bound to feel uninterested with a 5th adaptation. It is literally like same essay different font.

Lovely start, draggy anti-climatic ending!!

Let me start by saying, that I loved this drama so much until episode 25, when all the misunderstandings started. I could have dealt with it, if they had not lengthen the misunderstandings until the last episode.

Story:
The overall storyline is great, I really do believe that this story is way better constructed and more logical than the Taiwanese and Korean versions. The main complaint I have and the reason why I grade it so low is, as mentioned before the minimal time spent in the happy ending, because it did not resolve all my feelings of anger and felt too rushed. This left me with a very bitter taste, because the happy ending lasted at most 10 minutes. I feel the ending is too rushed and the misunderstandings kept for way too long, to the point where you question the great "love" the main female character has for the main male character.

The strength of this story lies on it being more real, and on us seeing the main male character falling in love, unlike the Taiwanese version, where I believe the main male character realizes his love when the main female character has the accident. But this version makes the main female character too prideful in her denial of her love. I mean in the last episode she already knew all that he went through the past 3 years and how much he loves her, he's been literally begging her for another chance, and she still keeps her intention of leaving?? WTH??

Acting/Cast:
This was so great, I've got no complains there. Xing Zhao Lin and Liang Jie have great chemistry with each other and literally shine when they are together. I love the rest of cast, especially the Grandma and Mom of the main characters. Anson was a surprise, I know his character is to provide comic relief and he did his job very well. This is the version where Anna, is the most obnoxious and terrible human being, with so little self-esteem that she wants to be with someone who patently does not love her, but that was the way the character was written, so the actress did a great job. Dylan in this version was lovely and not at all pushy in his love for Jia Xin, unlike the Taiwanese version.

Music:
It was the best!! I love the rhythm and the lyrics, so appropriate to the story and the characters. To this day, I still listen to them!!

Rewatch Value:
For me is close to non-existent, because of the lengthening of misunderstandings in this version and the very poor wrap up off the whole story at the end. I will not put myself up for that kind of torture again, I may watch some sweet and funny scenes again, but never the whole drama. Which is a shame because it started so well, grounded the drama in so much "reality", unlike the cartoonish Taiwanese version and the sometimes cringy Korean version, but this Chinese version left me feeling so much anger and hopelessness!! If they had at least added one more episode, to give the viewer sweetness overload after all the bitterness we swallowed, it would have been the greatest version of them all.

Not worthy of your time

If I am being honest I finish it but skipping like the last 5 eps before the finale.
I had high expectations it sounded great it was something new but it sucked the beginning wasn't that bad except that they are expecting a child coming from an affair , the dramas was too much hated the 2FL even though her apparition was during the last episodes if we don't count the flashbacks, calls etc. ML was annoying he was to confusing I am mad at the fact that he didn't tell his gf about the baby even though he had chances of coming clean even if it was from a call and how he lead the FL and make her feel bad from time to time apart from him starting to date the FL without properly breaking up with the 2FL, I think what triggers me the most is that he continued being friends with 2FML after everything I get if he forgiven her by what she did but he continue being FRIENDS .
it is kind of off annoying the FL was presented as not strong after wards she became more strong but still, the communication between the leads was a mess.
overall it was to frustrating and exhausting I tried to make these review with the least spoilers possible and this is just my opinion.
Lets not forget that this drama is not 20 ep or so it is 36 eps almost 40 of about 40 min each i felt like i lost so much of time.

You are my destiny

I knew this drama is a remake of the Korean drama fated to love you but I didn't know that The Korean drama was a remake of The Taiwanese drama the Original one.

So I was so excited to watch both version the Chinese version and the Korean version.
And I watched both versions.

The story is about two people who met on a yacht and somehow they were married accidentally and then she finds out she is pregnant .

So this version focused on like family and friends more than just the couples so we see a lot of other characters' story beside the main characters' which was good and very funny and very enthusiastic .

The male and the female lead were so annoying for the half of the drama . The FL lead was like dragged by the male lead and she is okay with anything he does , at some point I was like girl have a life ,visit your mother or your best friend ,she was irritating .whenever the male character goes with any new decision like divorce agreement , putting his GF pic in his bedroom even after he got married she was like it's fine ,you are a good person you can do whatever you want even if it's cheating .
And the male character was so blind and like he has no character , he is blind with his GF even after she dumped him for like 100 times.

And second part is after she lost her baby and she left ,it gets so much better the two main characters has developed in a really good way they were like older and wiser people, and more mature and know what they want and both have confidence and they are living very well , and we see how both characters were suffering for losing their child and their relationship , the male character like he wants to start again and make it up for the female character but she is like in so much pain of losing her child and can't just forget that.
They somehow manged to get back together and lived happily at the end .

I really liked the Female's character's best friend ,she was supportive and kind with her all the time , and of course the male character's best friend too he is like in a relationship with the female character's best friend , they both were so hilarious .
The grandmother of course one of the best characters in the drama.
And the GF she is evil more 10 times than the one in the Korean version, even in the last episode she didn't change her mind until her brother finds out about her lies and decided to reveal everything .

Mostly it's a light drama ,There are warm moments funny moments and sad moments too , there is no big plot twist or unpleasant events that occurring a lot.

Mixed feelings...

I think overall it's a good story. I thought it would be one of those series that goes on unnecessarily long but it justifies its length of almost 40 episodes quite well. Liang Jie deserves all the applause in the world, what an actress. Chen is a fascinating character, flawed and complex, who navigates not only between how complicated it is to fall in love in exceptional circumstances, but also between guilt, the selfishness of grief and the need to close chapters of her past. She's so good that I almost feel bad for her counterpart, Xing Zhao Lin, who can't keep up with her.

Her character creates several problems for me. I could never empathize with Wang. He genuinely struck me as an insufferable, bullying jerk, no matter how much he excuses himself with Anna sabotaging their relationship. Even understanding the grief she was going through, she acted nonchalant with Chen without giving him his space just because he needed her to heal. Unlike Chen, I can't empathize with Wang's selfishness because it just seems pathetic and possessive to me.

As for Anna, what can I say, she is the typical villain ruined by the stupidity of the writers. Her character goes down the drain with a final twist that tries to give her a redemption arc that feels improvised. I don't think she was worthy of forgiveness and worse, I don't buy her remorse.

I think Dylan would have been a lesser match for Chen, not just because Li Jiu Lin is extremely attractive, but because he's a very noble character in general, and unlike Wang, he did prioritize Chen at all times.

You're telling me I have to feel bad for an idiot who couldn't even defend the girl he loves, who was pregnant by him, from his crazy ex? Big fail by the writers there.

Maybe if you like melodramas?

I like the leads and find the supporting cast to be generally good but they weren’t enough to overcome clunky dialog (maybe it is poor translation), the cheesy premise of the series, or the stilted and unnecessary English dialogue. I can’t help wondering if some roles were miscast. It also seemed like there was a lot of dubbing which feels odd and smacks of poor production quality.

Xing Zhao Lin is attractive and funny and can sing, but it’s hard to watch him cry. Is that how he cries in real life? Maybe the clunky dialogue and awkward scenes make it hard for him to cry when needed? He does a good enough job with other scenes and otherwise conveys that he is hurt by his loss, but I just can’t tell if he is laughing or crying.

The way that they styled Liang Jie in the first episodes of the series seems too cartoonish like they miscast her in this series. She is so good in other roles and seems more comfortable as the series progresses that I can’t tell if it’s because her character arc brings her character more in line with her persona or if it’s the writing and directing.

Li Jiulin is an attractive and capable second male lead. He is well cast because it fits with his public image. He is a solid, versatile actor and isn’t really challenged by having to play a range of emotions in this role. He shows in Circle of Love that he has the ability to bring depth and range to a role.

Such a Disappointing drama

Wow. Just wow
I have seen so many bad reviews on this drama and I agree with all of them. I haven't watched the original yet and I am currently watching the Taiwanese version. The only reason I got into this show is that I like the trope but the way this drama was executed was so poor. After the first I watched I was already sick of it while questioning my decision to drop it, I came here for spoilers and I was glad I did.

At first, the story was cute and I loved their chemistry and the idea of them being brought close together by the baby. Also, the fact that he gives her confidence and she can finally get rid of that annoying sticky note girl persona and then I come here to find out that all of that went to waste.
From the abortion/miscarriage to the divorce and breakup all of it seems like too much drama. I really didn't want her to lose the baby but now that I see she did I may not even watch any of them from the series. I am so glad I saved myself the trouble because as a long-time Asian drama watcher I have this thing where I don't drop the drama but instead stick till the end just to say I finished it.

A Very Soapy Ride

When I first started this drama I was unaware there were two other versions, but since I am a completist I took some time to check out the other versions before deciding on the one I would watch. I wasn't going to watch them all because there are other dramas in the world . The Korean version was too slapstick for my taste, and the original Thai version was too outdated. The switcheroo romance plot has been done and redone so many times and in so many forms, that there 's nothing original to be found in any of the versions. It really all comes to down to the execution. and IMO the Chinese version is the best executed. This version has a strong narrative plot from beginning to end and that's probably because it embraces the melodrama. The OST which is full of sad piano melodies and moody guitar riffs fits the story, so it does feel like watching a daytime soap. There are tense stand offs and "oh shit" moments a plenty to keep you entertained. This version also has better supporting characters, which speaks to the stronger narrative structure of the entire drama. There were times where I was a bit bored while watching this, but generally speaking I didn't FF through much of it because it plays well in the background; and, there were times I was glued to the screen because I couldn't tear my eyes away. At 36 episodes ranging from 45-55 minutes per episode, this is a drama that requires a time investment, so I wouldn't recommend it unless you specifically like the rich man/poor woman trope and or second chance romances.

Excellent Remake!

I loved all of the remakes of this story, but this one had the emotional draw that captivated me throughout without being contrived. So many negative comments that were so shallow. Dramas are becoming fast food these days and people just want to get through to the ending! This remake had the emotional elements that helped you see what the two main characters went through in their hearts. The protagonists weren't dragged out for endless episodes. And I thought the ending was sweet and complete. Anna got her due! And parts of the battle that kept them apart, what I thought would be agonizing (because I read some negative reviews!) were actually really enjoyable. A very happy ending! If you love this particular story, you will love this remake! It added things that the other dramas missed.

This Series is still MY # 1....
Just finished RE-WATCHED it... i still get the same excitement, sadness & Happiness while watching this... It maybe a remake of "Fated To Love U" of K-drama but this is lighter plot & full of sweetness between FL & ML.
The 2 Main lead did well... Liang Jie (FL) when she cries i cry too, she is so good here.. from that naive look to sophisticated look she nailed it.... Zhao Lin (ML) my Cricket hehehe.... U are really a good kisser :D... they are my fave couple..... ohhh the 2nd Lead actor.. gosh hope to see him more... he is hot... :D
I recom U to watch it if U didnt... promise U wont regret it....

It is an awesome drama with a good cast. For a more similar drama with English sub watch here
RomanticDrama
you are my destiny drama with English sub you can watch on my website. this website is also awesome here you can find all drama information. This drama has nice content with the romantic scene.

I do pity Anna, in this version, she is the victim. But I don't really feel sorry because she always put herself first.
She is the most shameless person I've ever seen. I had enough of her bullshit and useless effort towards the end.
Actually I like how Xiyi slowly to draw line between them as time passes so Anna realize that Xiyi doesn't love her anymore.

Like other cdramas, we are always got a secondary couple.
Anson's finally got a loveline!!! His life isn't revolved around his boss anymore.
I love Anson is always sarcastic and blatant-ly talking to Xiyi whenever he does mistakes.
His love-story with Jia Xin's friend, Siqi (Yes, our snail also finally has a loyal-friend), is quite cute. I love to see their bickering yet romantic even tho it just a contract relationship.

After the miscarriage incident, actually I cried a lot.
Ofc it'd hurt to anyone who experience this kind of thing, especially they are waiting the baby to born.
Both Xiyi and Jia Xin having hard time to face each other. Both of them are blaming themselves much.
It is understandble for Jia Xin to leave, she need times more than anything.

It's ended safely but I feel a little bit unsatisfied with how they solved the paper incident.
Anyway, this one is good and enjoyable to watch. Not a really tearjerker because I find Zhaolin's crying is funny to watch.
