This Series is still MY # 1....Just finished RE-WATCHED it... i still get the same excitement, sadness & Happiness while watching this... It maybe a remake of "Fated To Love U" of K-drama but this is lighter plot & full of sweetness between FL & ML.
The 2 Main lead did well... Liang Jie (FL) when she cries i cry too, she is so good here.. from that naive look to sophisticated look she nailed it.... Zhao Lin (ML) my Cricket hehehe.... U are really a good kisser :D... they are my fave couple..... ohhh the 2nd Lead actor.. gosh hope to see him more... he is hot... :D
I recom U to watch it if U didnt... promise U wont regret it....

I do pity Anna, in this version, she is the victim. But I don't really feel sorry because she always put herself first.
She is the most shameless person I've ever seen. I had enough of her bullshit and useless effort towards the end.
Actually I like how Xiyi slowly to draw line between them as time passes so Anna realize that Xiyi doesn't love her anymore.
Like other cdramas, we are always got a secondary couple.
Anson's finally got a loveline!!! His life isn't revolved around his boss anymore.
I love Anson is always sarcastic and blatant-ly talking to Xiyi whenever he does mistakes.
His love-story with Jia Xin's friend, Siqi (Yes, our snail also finally has a loyal-friend), is quite cute. I love to see their bickering yet romantic even tho it just a contract relationship.
After the miscarriage incident, actually I cried a lot.
Ofc it'd hurt to anyone who experience this kind of thing, especially they are waiting the baby to born.
Both Xiyi and Jia Xin having hard time to face each other. Both of them are blaming themselves much.
It is understandble for Jia Xin to leave, she need times more than anything.
It's ended safely but I feel a little bit unsatisfied with how they solved the paper incident.
Anyway, this one is good and enjoyable to watch. Not a really tearjerker because I find Zhaolin's crying is funny to watch.

Real love won't be defeated
This a very good drama focused on Wang XI Yi and Chen Xia Jin characters, feelings and emotions.To me, "You are my destiny" has nothing to do with the original taiwanese "Fated to love you", and they aren't to be compared. Too many changes in the chinese version make the characters different. You have in here a drama with a happy ending (the taiwanese version is an outstanding comedy).
In " You are my destiny", I liked the filming, the music and the acting. The story progression is good and you really get interested in the 2 main characters. You will share their feelings, their doubts, their stubbornness... You will understand their points of view and hope that Wang Xi Yi will be able to get her loved one back to him...
Love scenes and emotions are credible, there's a good chemistry between actors.
If you like not easy love stories , this one is worth to be watched.

I began watching this drama for the CP. Their chemistry is just a treat to watch.A notable part of this story is how Jiaxin, our meek FL has a solid support system. Her mom loved her dearly and wouldn't hesitate to stood up for her. I admire their mother-daughter bond. After marrying into the Wang family, she was also treated well and they genuinely care about her.
I admire Jiaxin's character development, even at first she was portrayed as a pushover, her driving force was her kindness and compassion. People took advantage of that but it doesn't mean she's simply stupid. I like how Xiyi encouraged her to become more confident. I don't think Xiyi is the best male lead. He couldn't stand his ground between these two women for so long and ended up hurting them both. But as he spent more time with Jiaxin and realized his true feelings, he could firmly told Anna that he loves Jiaxin and everything is over between them. Even when Anna tried to win him back with her cunning schemes, he never question his feelings for Jiaxin.
Shi Anna was so frustrating. She was always an ambitious woman who puts her career as a professional ballerina as her priority but they reduced her into an anxious, pathetic girl who begs her cheating boyfriend to take her back... Like... girlll you can find a much better man!! She didn't have any self-respect and deliberately chose to do shameful things to sabotage Xiyi and Jiaxin's relationship. Dylan wasn't a good second lead either. I don't like his meddling behavior and how he thinks he knows what's best for Jiaxin. These two siblings are annoying.
Their reunion arc was packed nicely imo. Although Xiyi wanted her to come back to him, after hearing her perspective, he didn't push her and let her make her own decision. What Xiyi did during the past three years without Jiaxin really sold it for me. Writing in Ximi's journal, being more attentive to his employees, helping Jiaxin's mom, sleeping in Ximi's room, and developed an entire island–Jiaxin's hometown–as a tribute for Ximi so Jiaxin can feel his presence when she's back home... However, the push and pull in the last few episodes was unnecessary but not entirely unrealistic. Jiaxin's indecisiveness is justified because her feelings and their situation is complex. She tried to let go of the past because she wanted better things for herself but her feelings for Xiyi was still there and it's holding her back. But the ending was very rushed and unsatisfactory. I expected a nice epilogue for their new relationship but we got nothing.
Overall, it was a pretty good experience, I hope the CP can reunite again :D

Good start, but the ending could be better!
STORY:The storyline was quite well-developed for the first half of the series. The "happy" ending seems a bit too abrupt. Last few episodes were a little draggy. Another flaw as I watching the show since JianXin was pregnant - her baby bump doesn't show much even up to the stage she was about over 4 months preggy (hence, a little bit unrealistic IMO).
ACTING/CAST:
Great acting and chemistry from both main leads. The rest of the supporting roles were great too. Love granny Zhenzhu in this show :)
MUSIC:
Great high quality OSTs - especially the ones by Bai Ann and also Della. Both main leads sang an OST together too. The OSTs helped to bring out the emotions for quite a few scenes - which really made me tear.

I love the story...the story is very nice and simple..both the astors have done their job perfectly. After the main lead the nanny and the frnd named dylan's character was worth watching. And also love the 2nd lead 😊😊. As a couple they were really funny😂😂.. i don’t know why but i really feel bad for dylan. this guy really loved the female lead..at least they can give him a new gf in this drama..and yes i was expecting more episodes.. Overall it was good, but the ending messed it up.

I honestly was really intrigued by this story, and was really interested in it from the start. But a little while after, the story tended to become a repeated cycle. Normally in a drama, the leads break apart and get back together, just like in this story. It creates more of a roller coaster, which I am perfectly okay with. What really hurt, was the length of the breakup versus the length of the reuniting. They break up for like 4 episodes, and the whole truth is revealed and they are together in the last 10 minutes of the drama, which is very disappointing. Of course, not everything ends happily, but this drama does. Happily, for just 5 minutes though.
ACTING/CAST-----------------------------
The cast was great, and the acting was not bad. I especially think the female lead's acting was amazing, and I know that there are more dramas featuring Liang Jie and Xing Zhao Lin.
MUSIC---------------------------------------
The music is really good, and really loved a few songs from it. Definitely a good OST.
REWATCH VALUE-------------------------
I wouldn't really rewatch this, mainly for a fact that I would be wasting my tears just to know that they get back together for 5 minutes at the end. Sometimes the character's decisions frustrate me, and how clingy the second lead could be. It's nice to watch once, but I wouldn't watch it twice.
OVERALL------------------------------------
Overall, it was an okay drama. It was just how unethical some characters could be and the ending that brought my rating for this drama down. If you like the main leads, watch "The Eternal Love". It has a higher rating than this one, with 3 seasons, and is on my plan to watch list.

One of the most successful drama couples in Chinese drama industry
There is some problems with the story . Literally i don't understand why CEO of a company didn't check about divorce agreement ? Who altered the paper !!Chairwomen , CEO , Lawyer.. no one checked !! is that possible in real life ?? Even the ML & FL suffered 3 years because of ex gf .In the last episode what had we seen ! Only 5 minutes happiness ! of being together ML & FL . And, Ex GF who killed the baby she was in the wedding isn't that funny, even after killing a baby or created the whole problem she only apologise with a SMS !! how funny was that !! Salute the Story writer !!Grow up please !!. The problem of Chinese drama their stories are not realistic as korean dramas.What i found in this drama they just made more episodes without thinking realistic . What i love most Liang Jie & Zhaolin couples together made another work . These couples are one of the successful couple in chinese drama industry. Wishing them more works together in future . I only found in this drama their chemistries are really adorable comparing others chinese drama couples. What we can say in dramatic language that is - they are really meant to be "the eternal lovely couple " just like the eternal love drama.

Very Emotional
This version has to be the BEST! Every details, characters, ost , it’s just amazing..And no words for their chemistry and acting
Loved the Taiwanese version but Chinese one has just blew my mind away
I love the fact how they didn’t make a jerk like other version..loved xiyi’s character..
I have laughed cried with every episode..waiting for the new episodes..
Now the real drama begins

Really good melodrama!
There are a lot of negative reviews and complaints for this drama but I thought it was a very entertaining melodrama. The first 24 episodes of the show was a sweet romantic comedy and the last 12 episodes became a tear jerking melodrama. I could see and understand each of the characters’ points of view, even the “antagonistic” characters. And unlike many of the other reviewers, I particularly liked the yearning and misunderstanding parts of the drama because I ugly cried and became so emotionally invested. Good drama if you skip the last 10 episodes
Everything's mostly already been said about this drama. I just want to add a few thoughts:- the drama was well-acted, the leads still have awesome chemistry!!
- the story was so frustrating, I almost smacked everyone through my computer screen. However, this is You're My Destiny. The story was always and always will be extremely frustrating. I was hoping they would switch it up and somehow make it less frustrating, but alas... I think it was worse than the other versions I've seen.
- the first part of the drama is really good
I won't be re-watching this one. It took all my willpower and a lot of skipping to get through it the first time. Good acting and production, just extremely draggy with an abrupt ending. Normally I find montages of the couple being cutesy extremely cheesy, but I desperately wished for one at the end of this drama. They put us through ALL THAT just for 4 or 5 cutesy scenes. Not worth it to me.
