A very cool drama. But I was hoping for a different ending. And the cops (special forces) acted very illogically, I don't understand at all how you can do that when a person is already surrounded. A couple of times I found something to pick on, so to speak, movie bloopers. But still, the drama is wonderful, there is intrigue, there is a gripping plot, there are handsome actors, but there is almost no romance. Although... maybe it is there, just not the same as we are used to, but it was clear that there was still a spark between the main characters. Eh, I wish there were 16 episodes, not 12...

Mediocre Crime Thriller - So Much Wasted Potential

******SPOLIER ALERT****SPOILER ALERT****SPOILER ALERT****SPOILER ALERT****SPOILER ALERT*******

I liked the beginning of the series and I think the acting from the leads is well done. Nana and Jang Ki Yong have excellent chemistry. But the storyline is a mess and could have been executed a lot better. The show has way too many characters and it was way too much going on. The show actually, had elements that were done really well like the fact that the young prosecutor on Hyun Jin's team wasn't corrupt. I've seen it happen so much in these drama's that I was pleasantly surprised he was on the up & up. I liked the character growth of the older cop on Hyun Jin's Team too.

Hyun Jin's adopted father was one of the worst villains I've watched in a while and I was itching for his death. Could not come quick enough!!!! These shows really make you hate these greedy, rich people. I hate that we never get the answer at the end of who was really sponsoring Do Jae Hwan but I'm going to guess it was the President of Korea.

The best part of the series for me is that it ends the way it's supposed. Didn't think that was going to happen and I was very glad it did. I was also quite emotional when Philip died. Didn't expect to feel that way.

Wow. This show was amazing, it's right up my alley for a shows I'd like to watch in the future. Firstoff when I read the synopsis about a killer turned vet and a detective who is trying to capture a serial killer to where their relationship builds from having known eachother in the past and then meeting again, I was very intriqued to watch it and my god am I glad I watched it. I've put this drama off for about 2-3 weeks now and I thought I would watch it.

With the male lead Soo Hyun I loved his character, the actor Jang Ki Yong who played did an amazing job doing the role. Jang Ki Yong is probably one of the actors to depict characters who have a dark side to them, his facial expressions work magic on the on screen and his psycotic smile he gives off makes him perfect for these kind of roles. Soo Hyun's character was quite pitiful in this show though, he was only born to donate his bone marrow and didn't even get named and got thrown away to some russian killer to be taken care of. To be honest, killing people is always bad but I couldn't help but support him throughout the show and be exited to see what he's going to do next. His relationship with Seul Gi is quite ill fated in the fact that Pavel killed her grandfather and then Soo Hyun ends up looking after her in which she realises who he is and forgives him because she knows he's a good person at heart. I can understand why he only confided in animals and that was because they can't really betray you and hurt you compared to humans who follow human nature. His whole goal to finding out his past and then saving the children was quite pitiful to watch at times because he couldv'e just lived a normal life but they mattered more to him than anything else untill he got attached to Hyun Jin and Seul Gi.

Hyun Jin's character was also a pretty good character. She didn't really do much for me compared to Soo Hyun but I liked how she wished it wasn't Soo Hyun who was the serial killer because she had hope that he was the same kid who she knew as a child. Her relationship with Soo Hyun was ill fated because she was the person trying to capture the serial killer and it just turned out to be Soo Hyun, I did like thier interactions but I'm glad there was no romantic actions involved because it would of been a lot more messier than it allready was for them. I could tell that they both had some sort of feelings for eachother due to thier actions throughout the show.

The OST was standard but what stood out was the instrumentals that added a felling of tension and axienty to some scenes. Out of all the shows I've watched this show might be out 3 shows in which gave me a churning feeling in my stomach and a fast heartbeat and I don't know fully why but some of teh reason would go the atmosphere that this show created.

If your looking for an action, thriller show that has an emphasis on the relationship on 2 sides of the same coin, Soo Hyun on one and Hyun Jin on the other and how see how thier story pits them against eachother pyschologically even though they like eachother I highly reccomend this show.

I will most definetly rewatch this show one day as it's a short show in which was a great watch and I loved the main leads especially Jang Ki Yong and NaNa.

If only the plot was better...

I had dropped it halfway when the drama was first released. I just recently picked it up and binged the whole thing and, honestly speaking, I don't regret dropping it in the first place.
For new actors, their acting was good and they played their roles well. I especially like the OST, they fits the theme so well. But those are the only good points of this drama.
Up until episode 5, everything was great but then the plot just developed in a strange direction that I could not wrap my head around it. New names kept popping up unnecessarily and various scenarios laid out in front me that I almost lost track of the main problem. AND!!!! They tried to end everything that had happened in the last 11 episodes in the last half of episode 12?!?!?!?! A lot of plot holes and loose ends that my mind just went "???????"

Give it a try but don't keep your hopes up.

Fast paced thriller with a hard ending

No spoilers up here. The typical K Drama has a feel good wrap up ending. This one does not and that's ok. The screenwriters here could have taken the easy route and written a 'happy' ending but instead they wrote the right ending for these characters and this story. After the last reveal and you're faced with the finale and perhaps a little shock you'll appreciate what happens and why it had to be that way.

The series has its share of action and fight scenes but these never take over and dominate the story and character development. There are too many shows and movies where it feels like a little bit of story wrapped around overly complicated and drawn out action. There were a few isolated cases early on with a bit drawn out fight scenes but once the skills of the main protagonist are established his later performance is marked by efficiency.

The story stayed with me after the finale as I couldn't help but think about the characters and their choices.

Looking forward to rewatching this one.

I'm surprised these screenwriters don't have more credits given how well written this series turned out.

Warning - Below some questions and comments that contain spoilers. These are not nitpicks but after one viewing questions that I didn't see an answer for.

- Young Kim Soo Hyun was consistently shown with blue eyes yet as an adult his eyes were brown. What was the point of the blue eyes?
- Kang Seul Gi was mentioned twice as the biological daughter of Kim Soo Hyun. How and when this came about was never answered, but would partially explain why Soo Hyun prevented Pavel from killing her.
- Do Hyun Jin aka Lee Young Eun was adopted to replace a dead daughter. What happened to her sire? All the kids were created via artificial insemination in order to provide organs for specific powerful clients. Why was she exceptioned? Why did she even have a name i.e. Lee Young Eun vs a number?

Speculation Given the genetics for organ donors of even family members can be dicey it would make sense for the scheme to create more than one kid from each sire for donations. The main antagonist created Kim Soo Hyun to provide a bone marrow transplant for his sister who named him and then died. Perhaps he also sired Lee Young Eun for the same purpose, and when her half sister died he adopted her as a replacement.

That would make her a half sibling to Kim Soo Hyun and the biological aunt for Kang Seul Gi.

Would be better without the whole hitman nonsense.

As Nicki Minaj once said: Um chile anyways so...
This is possibly one of the worst dramas I've ever seen, no exaggeration. The "background" plot is actually pretty cool and could've made it into a great drama if it wasn't for a few things. First I need to criticize my sweetheart Nana, what the hell is wrong with her voice?? She is not a bad actress by any means but the way she speaks in this is so freaking weird, like she is about to hit you with an earth shattering burp or something and I simply don't understand why she is doing it. Is she trying to sound tough? Is this her impression of a badass detective? The world may never know!
Now back to this b* who had a lot to say about me the other they in the press... ML what's good? As another reviewer said, it's like he suffers from a communication disorder and for some magical reason everybody around him is able to read his mind and be like "omg yeah haha you're so cool and fun silent man". Seriously this type of character is almost never done right, I think it requires a very specific plot for it to work. But tbh he was set up for failure! His storyline is boring and overdone, the whole hitman bull* is ridiculous at best and if they had cut that crap and focused more on the actual plot that we get to learn by the end of the drama, i would not have hated it so much.
Just so I don't sound like a total hater, I do think the ending was perfect for the story the writers had build till that moment and for that I gave 'Kill It' another ⋆.

Good story killed with last episode.

The drama was enjoyable. The writers sugested how will it end so, you could guess that the male lead will get punished for his crimes. This is cliché, but at the same time it could be understable. But how they did it, it is close to retarded at best. The best killer goes through front door and starts shooting everybody (first WTF), then when he is about to kill main villan. here comes famale lead with SWAT team and they kill MC ( second WTF). He didn't even point gun at them. Earlier the police released villan because of lack of evidence. So sombody tell me why she went there again, and with SWAT team? This clearly means that she killed him !!!
The villan didn't call thw SWAT team. She did it on her own. And this "timing" when police arrives, What a garbage writing.

I saw a short clip of it on Instagram and totally fell in love with the 30-second review, Soohyun's ( Jang Ki Yong) character is so thrilling his skills and ideas are so unexpected. Since I only watched the episodes that have came out so far ep 4 left me on a hoooookkk, Hyunjin ( Nana) is such a good detective and I love how she cares about others but her mother has high expectations like wanting her to be a specific weight or making sure she is home at this time. But this drama is going to be so successful its super interesting .

I was intrigued by this drama because the MVs were so intriguing, but after watching the first 2 episodes, I just wasn't feeling the story enough. I decided to look up some spoilers about how the story turns out in the end to decide if I wanted to dedicate all the time in watching the drama all the way through based on how the ending turns out. I'm so glad I looked into the spoilers because I am most DEFINITELY not happy with the ending (regardless of whether certain characters deserved their ending or not).
The story was dark from the beginning and I am not one to watch dramas if they are dark, so for me, it would never work unless the plot is simply AMAZING (like the drama, Tunnel - I just couldn't put it down, no matter how dark and horrific the events were). Anyways, for me personally, the drama was not intriguing nor enjoyable enough for me to keep watching, and then with the way the ending turns out, I just couldn't justify continuing to watch it. In my opinion, this is not a drama meant for everybody.

Story seems interesting but you"ll have to put with it

I have watched this title cause i love Jang Ki-Yong and based on excellent reviews. Well, let's say i don't share popular opinion
Episode 1 - Already some incoherences & ridicule scenes
The ML character is cold, charismatic, mysterious and straight forward.
The FL is as often the caricature of the rude, reckless woman. The 1st introduction between ML & FL is beyond ridiculous. Not the set up itself, but the FL actions ... WTH was that scene ? How the scenarist wants to show she is compassionate and loves animals as ML, when she plays darts on a baby deer? That scene wanted me to drop the drama already.

I am at episode 2, and the FL is moving in same building than ML & second FL .... what a coincidence :/
I will continue 1 or 2 episodes and will edit my review if my opinion changes.....
