Trailer has already made me curious to know whats next in this series.
Very unique story included someone's past and only love can change bad memories into true faithful love.

I really don’t understand the love for this show.I wanted to like it, I really did, but from the start Tharn is just a sex pest /abuser. He should be in prison!
Yes Type was homophobic but he had reasons.
There are no reasons or excuses to molest someone in their sleep.
I abandoned the show after the molestation and went to watch something else but decided to come back and see if it got better. I made it through episode 6 and decided it’s just that worth it. I can’t support a relationship based on abuse.
How is this portrayed as normal in this day and age?

If i could rate this the lowest of the lowest i would. Very disgusting story ! very disturbing. It triggered me so much that i couldn’t barely finish it. The producers or someone could’ve told the story better. Thailand needs to stop fetishizing r*pe it’s very unprofessional & disgusting ! I don’t understand why Thailand keeps doing this, it doesn’t make the story any better it just makes viewers uncomfortable. The acting was slightly okay, but some parts of the series are completely disturbing.Was this review helpful to you?

I find that the story is a bit toxic. Jealousy always revolves in a relationship but the jealousy exhibited in this show is very intense. There are some things that can be improved on the story and the character portrayal.The struggle and climax is somehow okay. Most of the characters are problematic although the chemistry of the lead actors were indeed a check.
The ost is beautiful. I think there’s a week that I am only playing it’s album on one streming app. It’s a must-watch!

The best BL romance ever
I wont talk much about the plot coz obviously its not really new. What makes this drama standout number one is the perfect casting. Apart fromThe leads overflowing chemistry the supporting casts were equally significant.
Tharn and type though some parts were overly done, you can hardly notice because the climax scenes were really done well by both actors. The character development of type is what i like most. He was afterall the confused character but how they built his character was pure bliss. I find his love pure and authentic. Regardless how he handled his stages of acceptance it was apparent he was very sure of his feelings both season 1 and 2. I love how he is protrayed as not expressive in words but his actions are more heartwarming in many occasions than tharn.
I highly recommend this to people not familiar with BL dramas. Wish to see them both again in future project

I think the actors portrayed the characters well, expressly Gulf (Type) with it being his first drama. I loved Mew's acting even in the heart crushing scenes. Lhong's actor has an amazing singing voice. The music in the show to me was amazing.

It was a brand new experience for me to see that and i must say i extreamly love it !! ... i loved how the story unfolds and how Type had to discover himself, i liked how he started to accept himself the way he is and accept Tharn as well .
Good story with excellent performance by wonderful actors .

mostly about the issue of lhong
i personally like it so much since it got me to thai bl. i especially love the actor's chemistry and their good acting skills. the plot all in all is good, the cinematography is also exceptional. but i was bothered by lhong's character (i love kaownah, he did good in interpreting his character) but what i hate is the fact that tar never got his justice. after everything lhong had done, no consequences at all? i feel sad for his story about the feeling of not being loved but it doesn't hide the fact that he was the reason tar was gang rxped, he could have been gone to jail to suffer from what he had done but then he just went away and when he return and met tharn's brother, he even wished lhong to do good in life, he asked how he's been... like seriously? i don't think it was a good reaction meeting someone who had cause harm to other. rxpe is not something they should just brush off after one admits his sin and apologize. and to mention the sexual assault that happened between tharn and type, it may not seem like it but the first few episodes are bothering. at first i really thought it was nothing serious, prolly becaue of the upbeat background song that made it exciting but in real life no one would really find being assaulted sexually excited. tho i understand that was the plot, the novel and series goes that way as the author wrote. nevertheless i love tharntype & i have been re-watching it a couple of times now, i love also mewgulf so much. they did a good job and i'll be waiting for the season 2.Was this review helpful to you?
TharnType is a beautiful and worthwhile story about love and growth
I really can’t believe TharnType is over!It probably has a lot to do with how much I projected onto Tharn, but the series was a JOURNEY for me.
I don’t think I have ever watched something that made me feel stronger, more complex, and genuinely difficult emotions–or one that I have related to so much. Those things are of course intrinsically linked. With most series, I feel I watch it but am removed from the story; I don’t typically think any of the characters reflect me personally, or have similar experiences to me. But I felt constantly involved with TharnType. Again, I completely projected onto Tharn (something I don’t ever do)–having experienced a lot of the things he did, and having my own complex if much softer relationship with internalized homophobia like Type–and that made this series affect me quite deeply.
That aside, while I have watched series with better writing, the tension and relief were always perfectly executed. And the growth, the arcs! Tharn and Type were so dynamic as characters, and to watch two people work that hard to love each other was really something. The finale knocked me out. Just–insert that post about hating it when fictional characters make me believe in love, you know?
All this to say that TharnType is extremely important to me and I am completely shocked by that since the first time I tried to watch it I turned it off within the first few minutes (right after Type said he “hates gays.”). I am so unbelievably grateful I decided to give it another try. My personal experience with being gay was better articulated in this series than a lot of other queer media I have consumed in all my 23 years.
tl;dr TharnType is a beautiful and worthwhile story about love and growth, and for me personally, it was a genuinely cathartic experience because of how much I can relate my own self, relationships, and experiences to the story.
It’s not an easy show, it’s not an easy story, and it’s not an easy watch.
(and that’s phenomenal)

Meu primeiro BL. Recebi a indicação no YouTube, enquanto via vídeos do BBB, durante a pandemia (não pergunte). Tenho apego emocional, portanto sou parcial. A história é boa, de inimigos a amantes. Algumas cenas entraram para a história dos BLs! Os capítulos são bem desenvolvidos e prendem a atenção do início ao final. Os atores tem química, as músicas são ótimas e temos um bom vilão. A autora foi superficial e supérflua com o tema abuso/estupro e também sobre consentimento, poderia ter trabalhado melhor esse ponto.Was this review helpful to you?
