Both is based on Investigation.. Both has the handsome hunk Wang Kai.. But When a snail falls in love has more action than Hunting... Both has cute female lead but the FL in hunting is kinda badass compared to the FL in When a snail falls in love who is more like a " brainiac"....

Hunting Drama author also Write the Story of Cang Feng and both drama had Police Setting in their story, there was suspense criminal investigations and all with this drama will make interesting to watch

Similar in genres! If you like one of these, you might like the other although I enjoyed hunting a bit more

Both the dramas have a solid plot perfectly interlaced with emotions,sentiments.
The analysis and investigation process is very good.
They manage to keep viewers on the edge of the seat.
They perfectly deal with contemporary issues which have become a threat to the society.
The twists and turns are very good.The story is well written.
All the actors are incredible in their performances.
Both are my personal favourites of many chinese dramas I have watched so far
