The Romance of Tiger and Rose

Both dramas have:
- similar balance of humor, romance, action and drama
- quick pacing
- an upbeat, occasionally silly but competent female lead, and a grumpy self-involved male lead
- similar production budgets

MLs are the villain characters of the FL's story/manga. Both MLs at some point become aware that they are characters. In TMRFTS, the fictional character enters our world, in TROT&R, the author enters the fictional world. In the other's world, they fall in love and try to change the story to give the villain a better ending.

-Sweet moments
-They both have an arranged marriage

The cuteness and chaotic disaster vibe that Jiu Er & Yin Ran has reminds me very much of the dynamic of Chen Qian Qian & Han Shuo!
Also, the male leads falls for the female leads first.
Also, both female leads are adorable and clever!

Both have a FL from the real world who enters a fictional historical world and falls in love with the ML.

Both have time travel/ transmigration and a cute love story

Set in a historical setting with two cities: a patriach and a matriach. The prince of the patriarchal city is sent to marry the princess of the matriarchal city. Lots of comedy and the couple is very cute.

Similar vibes. Silly, outrageous, and yet funny and endearing. Similar type of jokes with unexpected twists. Bombastic characters and yet also self-deprecate. Crazy, scary situations turn up good and winning for the protagonists through good luck. Adorable characters.

Similarities:
- transmigration from modern world to a novel.
- gender reverse roles (both cities are run by women).
- frenemies to lovers (both male leads pretend to be friendly but have secret plans).
- revenge and political intrigue plots.
- both are mostly light-hearted with great comedy moments + a bit of angst towards the end.

FL enters a novel and finds herself married to the ML, the villain of the story. She must change the plot in order to insure that her written death doesn't happen, and in the process the couple fall in love.

In both, the ML is a fictional character and the FL a human from the real world, and the two meet when one crosses over into the other's world.

I only watched Dance of the Sky Empire till the end but I still saw a lot of similarities especially with the romance part.

-Both have a ML that would do everything for the FL after they fall in love
-Both FL are smart even if it´s not THAT outstanding
-Both FL have a goal and both goals has something to do with going back to their normal lives
-The comedy felt similar to me
-Both have a SL that falls for the FL later on
-Both have another couple where a princess falls for the normal guy, who doesn´t stand out much and both guys think, that the´re not worth it
-Both ML are romantic when they admit, that they love the FL
-Both ML saves the FL a lot of the time, even if the FL doesn´t realize it
-Both ships are bickering couples
-In both the ML gets really jealous
-In both the FL is good friends with the SL

Both dramas have a FL from the modern world who enters her own novel. Both MLs are fictional characters, and the FL attempts to change the plot from the inside.

Both dramas have a modern day FL entering a historical fictional world and becoming involved with the ML. In the original story one of the leads (ML vs. FL) is the villain.

Both are Romcoms that are meant to be for fun rather than taken seriously while also having better plotlines than most romcoms.
