well its Zhao Lusi and also her comedy partner Zi Rui who are common and TROTAR shows another character well played by Lusi which will make you fall for her deeper.

These 2 chinese rom-com has fake marriages between tough and martial arts trained princes ML and funny, smart witty FL.

Both dramas have the female lead going into a world of the dramas they're working on. One is an actress the other is the screen writer. In both the dramas the main couple have a lot of misunderstanding but end up falling for each other anyway.

Both have real characters inside a fantasy world, harem reversal, tons of comedy, funny FL, scheming ML, childhood sweetheart, loving parent, evil sister, FL unknowingly falls for ML, ML chases FL first.

Both are really good.
both have historic look
both have some twisted love stories.
Just watch then both. ????

- Matriarchy setting
- Three princesses (One is ambitious and evil, the other is in a calm (and in wheelchair) and the youngest is the FL)
- Both empresses are similar (cold mothers)
- Strong MLs x Strong FLs (in TFatE she's a warrior while in TRoTaR she is not)
- Male dancers (in TRoTaR it's a supporting character while in TFatE it's ML)
- FL saves ML

Overall very different in tone and plot but I did find some similarities

Both are historical dramas in which the modern day FL enters a fictional world and falls in love with the villain of the story.

Both male leads are pushed into marriage they didn’t choose, to a female who is from the royal bloodline.
In both of the series the male lead is initially suspicious of the female lead.
Both males appear to have great fighting skills and are trying to uncover something.
Both Females leads are oblivious to the mystery the male is trying to solve.
Both Female leads are initially more committed and love first.
Both females leads are bubbly/cheerful while both male leads appear serious.
In both, the male lead attempts to push away the female lead for some reason.
Both series have the I chase you and then you chase me feel in the beginning.
Both appear to a mixture of comedy, romance, politics and drama.

They are similar because

-Both FLs get stuck in a novel
-Similar dynamics between the FL and ML
-Both ML didn't trust FL in the beginning
-Both shows are somewhat comedy centered
-Similar endings

Both are mini dramas with the FL coming from the real world into a fictional one and messing up the story while falling in love with one of the characters.

Both dramas have:
- similar balance of humor, romance, action and drama
- quick pacing
- an upbeat, occasionally silly but competent female lead, and a grumpy self-involved male lead
- similar production budgets

MLs are the villain characters of the FL's story/manga. Both MLs at some point become aware that they are characters. In TMRFTS, the fictional character enters our world, in TROT&R, the author enters the fictional world. In the other's world, they fall in love and try to change the story to give the villain a better ending.

The cuteness and chaotic disaster vibe that Jiu Er & Yin Ran has reminds me very much of the dynamic of Chen Qian Qian & Han Shuo!
Also, the male leads falls for the female leads first.
Also, both female leads are adorable and clever!

Both have a FL from the real world who enters a fictional historical world and falls in love with the ML.
