Adorable
When I first started it, I was surprised by the fact it was set in the modern world because I thought it was some wuxia, but then I got it. It was something new to see the roles between men and women changed, but I liked it nonethless. I didn't quite liked the way QianQian and Chuchu we're talking about Han Chuo as he was an object. I got the fact that she felt guilty for her sister, but she should've taken Han Chuo's feelings into account before making those plans.Still I kinda liked the way QianQian's character was made, childish and immature, but serious and loyal when it was needed.
Edit : okay I'm at 19 ep and I understand testing her kungfu skills or whatever but that's not an excuse for almost raping her

The First Historical Drama You Should Watch
I don't really write reviews but I loved this drama so much that I just had to for this drama. Since I started watching drama's I've avoided watching Historical dramas but I decided to watch this on a whim. Definitely do not regret that.The story is so well put together, everything comes together, it is worth watching if you've never watched a historical drama. There is romance and comedy that will have you laughing out loud, the side characters are some of my favourites and even the villains are wonderfully done.

Finally I watch this drama. Yeah I quite understand why people love it. Thanks to long ballad that change my perception of Rosy Zhao, that's why I decided to try watch this drama & turn out I love it. The world where woman as a leader... it's quite interesting. & this drama give more elaborate of the situation, politic, cultural than the eternal love 3. Woman as a leader I notice some plus and minus in their leadership that really quite makes sense:
* Their more emotional than man as a king, more using feeling than logic. Like in here we can see Chen Qian Qian (QQ) mother really have partial heart & love between QQ & Chen Chu Chu (CC). & the punishment for their child is not serious/grave than man as a king.
What I like:
+ I really like Rosy Zhao here. What usually I don't like & can't stand to see her acting became her plus point in here. Like how she's coaxing her mother & Han Shuo (HS). Everything she act here is just put in the right amount. Really look forward for her other drama.
+ HS is really one slave of love. See how he foolishly just falling in love to QQ is something ^_^.
+ This drama didn't make draggy long & annoying scene. They just have 24 ep, it's quite short so they waste no scene or episode.
+ I love how at the end we can also see the situation in HS kingdom & compare both of the kingdom. Really funny actually when QQ said in the party with all the minister about how important woman actually in their household. Really like when the back to HS kingdom how HS treat QQ give her support without using word. :)
What raising my eyebrow:
* How can CC just easily replace Pei Heng as minister of defense when she said she is the descendant of their mother. It's supposed to be by mandate of queen to be replace or not.
Overall I really enjoy the drama, but no I don't think I'll gonna re-watch this.

HILARIOUS!
Currently I'm keen on C-drama and if you are looking for something light and funny, then this drama is a good option!Story:
The story line is interesting, they give you a funny twist & turn. But don't blame them for sometimes put some illogical scenes that make you wonder why on earth they react like this (it's fun tho to watch this kind of scenes, but only sometimes ya).
Acting:
I kinda surprise to watch the male lead, my first impression about him was he's not really suit for the funny scene. But I'm wrong. He's hilarious! For the female lead, this is my first time to watch her drama. She's cute, funny & really good at acting. The plus point is, she didn't have that annoying voice!
I would definitely watch this again if I have nothing to watch!

Initially when I first approached this drama and saw the beginning of the first episode, I dropped it immediately. However, since I like Zhao Lusi, I gave it a second chance and it actually began to be pretty fun.Plot: 8,5

What I love about this drama is the way it deals with the problem of two opposite worlds, searching for some kind of balance working for both sides. The second strong message from this drama is, what can happen to a person, who loses his purpose in life. This drama made me burst out laughing, but also impressed me with the behind-story thoughts.

Very funny & damn good
I neva wrote a review for any dramas this is my first review. Its super funny and rom com who wants to release their stress its the best for them. I wont be a spoiler. Just watch dnt think about anything, Trust me you will never regret. I love these both leads very much. Their actings are awesome. Also chemistry. Im really into this drama. Hoping for them to act together in upcoming dramas. The supporting characters also did their best. My Ending Analysis
My biggest regret is for not watching this drama sooner. 😭 Actually this is my first historical cdrama ever and I really love this so much!! The reason why I continue to watch this is because of the humor and chemistry of the leads. Plus the ending made me realize so many things!!-----
For the ending here's my analysis;
Actor Han and Chen Xiao Qian is indeed Han Shuo and Chen QianQian itself, they only played the character inside the dream but with Actor Han's and Chen XiaoQian true feelings with the use of the settings and characters of the script that Chen Xiao Qian written.
Remember on the first episode Actor Han said that Chen Xiao Qian might not experienced love and she doesn't know anything about romance based on what he had read on her script. i think from that words it's a hint for the magic of their romance to happen so soon.
When they in the ancient time or inside the "dream" already, yes they had to play the character Chen QianQian and Han Shuo because that what was the script meant to be happen... But since Chen Xiao Qian did something hilarious 😂 just to change everything from the beginning and to avoid the poisoning scene and from being killed... She tried to change it... from their wedding, the dragon bone, and other scene... It's a clue that the story is not the same anymore and they can actually change the story and create their own memories with that character.
In other explanation... They are inside the story but only Chen XiaoQian who can change everything FIRST because of her consciousness... While Actor Han played the character of Han Shuo from what the script should be happened.. but until....from the beginning , he is NOT THE SAME Han Shuo from the script anymore because the story is not the same anymore too. Remember.. On the script, Chen XiaoQian is meant to be killed on their wedding but it did not happened.
And so that.. Han Shuo and Chen QianQian is indeed a just characters or just a name that was written by Chen XiaoQian that helped them to realize what is LOVE it is. Those characters helped them to be together. The feelings, memories is actually TRUE made by Chen XiaoQian and Actor Han in the story since both of them are actually experience the "dream" at the same time so it's not Han Shuo and Chen QianQian because the Han Shup and QianQian in the original script is not in good relationship
....
but in the end she changed the ending from what she has experience... That is the LOVE

That one drama I recommend to everyone of my friends
Such an amazing plot, amazing characters, truly hilarious.Definitely a must watch.
I have seen this drama long back, but still I can remember how it made me feel. I was laughing throughout the end of it.
One unique thing about this drama is, it never gave me anxiety of what if something goes wrong with ML/FL or the story or someone.. Because, once you start this , you will know for sure that it is all going to end on a good note. So you can watch this without any worries.
Generally in many comedy dramas, they start well, but forget the purpose towards the end or middle. but this drama, from the beginning till the end , utterly hilarious and awesome.
Must watch. I became a fan of Zhao Lu Si after this.

A very solid rom-com
The Romance of Tiger and Rose basically delivers what it promises in the beginning: an involving love story in a historical setting with plenty of comedy. Is it a challenging drama that provokes the audience with original ploylines and ideas? No, although there are some interesting themes that I'll discuss later, but for working efficiently with its premise, it definetely deserves a praise.There wasn't a moment where I felt super bored or uninterested in this drama. It has a nice pacing, a suitable amount of episodes and the romance is well developed, and later when the couple is already together and their relationship cannot create the tension the plot needs, the writers then turn to explore the social and political aspects more, and I really liked that. I was pleseantly surprised when the feminist themes where more explored and that provided some nice pieces of dialogue.
The main couple had nice chemistry and this is one Chinese drama where (most of) the cast had a more decent and convincing acting. Also I must say that the costumes were simply gorgeous. But I guess now I should get into the things I didn't enjoy so much.
I started and ended liking the FL, but many time in between she enraged me. How am I supposed to believe she is so kind when she keeps making a bunch of rash decisions that harmed everyone around her? It was pretty annoying how she made a lot of mistakes but never suffered the consequences.
Also what the hell were the writers thinking by including that scene with sexual harassment??? I'm not gona extend myself talking about it to avoid spoilers, but it was super unnecessary. Besides that, there were some minor things that bothered me, like some plotholes and inaccuracies. I also still don't know how I feel about the ending, it was a bit cheap, but nothing that ruined my experience.
All things considered, The Romance of Tiger and Rose is pretty consistent and solid, I definitely would recommend it to any rom-com fans out there!

Hilarious Easy watch
Such a fun show. The lead characters were so funny and had such chemistry. Big fan of both Zhao Lu Si and Ding Yu Xi. Good story with a good ending. Fun and easy to watch. You won't be bored. Great romcom! I could easily watch this again. The actors really draw you in to the story. Not sure what I need to say more about this drama, except that it is a delight to watch and I am excited to see the sequel if it is the same cast. Hopefully, this time set in the modern era.

A bit cliche but got a phenomenal main leads as an actors!
Romance of Tiger and Rose.A really cute and fun af cdrama. The main couple is really cute together, although I wish they had more romantic scenes and their conflict seems pretty shallow. The plot has a lot of loopholes and can be cliche but amazing actors made me finished it. The maidservants chemistry with Han Suo and Chen Qianqian are top tier. I love all their bickering and kinda wished for more. Zhao Lusi is really a cute and promising actress while Ding Yuxi just made me want to have my own Han Suo! I’m basically smiling like a cheschire cat whenever he do swoon worthy scenes.
Final Rank: Likeable Series, All Time Favourite (Worthy to Rewatch)
