whatever that means. When you think of Thai dramas, you think of "Together. I have watched so many edits and seen so many things talking about it, and it dawned on me that I actually had no idea what the show was even about. It's an easy watch up until the end. I would have finished this at 12 am, but I had to check out before they fell apart on episode 12, so good on the show for getting me that emotionally invested in the show. It got an average of 8.6, which is rounded down to an 8.5 because of that ending. They milked it for a sequel that I will watch in like 2 months when I have completely forgotten what the show is even about. I hate the tropes with internalized homophobia, like the I am only gay for you trope. Getting on my nerves. It's a good show with an okay ending. THE SINGING MADE ME ACTUALLY WANT TO CRY. One of the main reasons I am not watching this again is the singing. I am okay when there is a little bit of singing here and there, but they were singing like four times every 10 minutes. Bro, actually shut up. I turned the volume off when they were singing; this is not a fucking high school musical. Shut up. You are lucky you guys are hot, or else I would have dropped the show so long ago. The boob jokes were actually so funny. We needed that. I would recommend it; it's one of the infinity stones, and you kind of need to watch it. It's too strangling for men to be overly flirty with each other because they have crazy good tension. So I know that a lot of people think this series is cringey af but I enjoyed it and I have good memories of it. I finished it in the first half of 2021 probably when I had nothing to do and this series just give me good vibes like it's just a comedy without a super complicated story but still it wasn't boring (at least at the time). There is no chemistry between the main leads.

I know I know leads are very handsome. But the thing is they lack acting skills.

Bright's acting was decent but I dont like Win's acting in this show and that made me drop this show.

The lack of chemistry is not just due to lesser intimate scenes but there were not many moments where you can feel like they are in actual relationship. It felt pretentious.

It was good upto the part where Sarawat was chasing Tine but after this it was just flat to me.

This series could be much better if they would have casted different actors with good acting skills.

Okay so I am giving it a 5 stars because of their looks only.

I don’t feel that they were even 2gether

When I first watched 2gether I felt that it was such a good show, but when you think about it 2 years later you realize that this isn’t a BL it should be counted as a bromance and that both Sarawat and Tine have no chemistry at all. All that actually seemed like they could’ve had chemistry was when Sarawat would say “I’ll kiss you till you drop” or whenever he would ask to hold his boobs. Other than that their was no BL at all, I feel bromances had more chemistry than a couple that is supposed to act in love with each other, but now that I realize it I don’t even think they even kissed once except whenever they would think about each other. I don’t really have much to say about Tine and Sarawat, but I do think Tine and Green would have more chemistry than both Tine a Sarawat together. I really only finished the show because of Mil and Phukong and they had chemistry even when they weren’t even a couple. I felt so bad for Phukong because he was madly in love with Mil, but he kept turning him down because he liked Tine until the very end of the show that Phukong and Mil finally got together and had the best chemistry in the whole show. I can’t really talk about this show that much or I’ll just be saying bad things about it, but now I know why both Bright and Win now act in straight dramas now.

I have never been this attached to a show before.

I binged this series + still 2gether so fast and then like many others I CRIED cause its over. I felt like I was a part of their relationship bc they give me so many butterflies and goosebumps. So when it was over it felt like a literal breakup. I immediately started rewatching it. THIS HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE. Thats saying something because I live through movies and shows. Words cant express how happy seeing Brightwin together makes me.
Yeah, the ending could've been better but its so special overall that it doesn't even reduce its quality. Still 2gether made up for it perfectly.

Holistic Review

This series made BL fandom mainstream. I dare you to tell me otherwise. Koreans known to be conservative started producing a lot of BL series since they known 2gether could gather alot of attention. Another one to point, many people started watching Thailand series or movies just because they get exposed to the culture. I dare you to tell me otherwise again. Even if you say bad things about the series, You got hooked on it one time too. So don't be spouting nonsense! You just all chill and relax. This series is a BL legend. I am confident to give them that. They do good on BL fandoms. Many artists started to get an interest in portraying gay characters be it on thailand or other countries because of 2gether. Scrubb started to get popular in other countries and T-pop started to get notice too. 2gether contributed a lot of things in the entertainment industry. They gave Thailand entertainment second glance from other countries. Say stupid things all you want but 2gether made it and thanks to them you get to watch other BL drama you are hyping on now. I rest my case. Instead of leaving hate on this series. Be thankful for them. They rose the BL communities standard bar. Periodt!

It's a light romance story with innocent kisses. :)

This drama is super cute! It's definitely on my top 10 BLs...I've watched 3 times already and will probably watch again lololol yeah yeah I'm one of those.

The story is about the love between Tine and Sarawat, two college students and their love for music. Tine finds himself in a pickle with another guy that's obsessed over him and goes to the hottest guys on campus (like one naturally does lolol) and askes him to be his fake boyfriend.

At first they don't seem to get along so well, but Tine isn't discouraged and does everything to get Sarawat to help him. Of course there's a lot of development and they fall in love.

It's a sweet love story with funny moments between the main and supporting cast. Most of the plot is around their love and music. There are two other couples ManType and MillPhukong but their story is very superficial. Still cute though!

It's a light romance story with innocent kisses. Definitely worth the watch, specially for those who are getting started in BLs. The actors are very cute and their acting skills are above average for BLs.

Enjoyable watch : The typical Youthful Love set in the university but in a music club

The series started of with Tine's perspective on how he'll meet 'the one' in his life due to the failed relationships he had with his exes. The series also mostly focuses on Tine's perspective on how he develops as well as realizes his true feelings for Sarawat.

I've watched a lot of university setting dramas and I'm definitely glad that this one starts off with the music club in which "music" will be the theme on how Tine and Sarawat will develop their relationship instead of another engineer themed relationship. Although the setting is the common university theme, props to the director or producer for giving it a bit of a twist.

What I like about the series is how Tine and Sarawat had the time to got to know more of each other that's why I love how we got to see the progress of their relationship (their cute, sweet and funny moments) rather than making them have a fast paced relationship in which they kiss and have steamy scenes etc. While I don't have anything against hot and steamy relationships, it's actually refreshing to see slow burn relationships. 2gether the series kind off gives me the vibes or atmosphere of Dark blue kiss and Sotus in which the main couple don't have to rely on hot and steamy moments just to catch the attention of the viewers / audience because their chemistry and adorable moments are just enough.

Another thing that I like about the series are the Soundtracks.. It fits the series and I love how we get to listen to different songs from the indie Thai band, Scrubb. After listening to some of the OST, I fell in love with the band, Scrubb. Furthermore, The songs used had meaningful lyrics which are really relatable if you have the time to read the English translations of the songs and it also expresses how the characters in the series portray what they were feeling. I actually never expected myself to love Thai indie songs. Trust me, if you listen to some of the Sountracks used in the series, you'll love it if you're a fan of that genre in music... :)

As for the acting and the production, there are Pros and Cons that I've noticed. For the acting, it's actually mediocre for me. There were times where you can see the siffness or awkwardness of the scenes. I cannot really praise the acting 100 percent because of this. Although, we can see the chemistry of Bright and Win, the acting is a little bit lacking. Especially, their facial expressions and bodily expressions. There were times in which it was monotonous or just simply plain. However, props for the actors for still doing a good job in portraying their characters. As for the production, it's also average for me because there times where I felt like the transitions, editing and camera angles did not fit some of the scenes in the series.

For the plot and character development, the pacing of the story is good as well as for the character development of Tine and Sarawat. What bothered me though are the inconsitency of some of the characters and some of the scenes. In addition to that, the last episodes didn't really give much justification for the beginning of the series. The ending will may or may not give you a dry or disappointing feeling (it entirely depends on the viewers peprspective) but yeah.. It was a bit boring or uninteresting for me. Although, the characters have a happy ending. The last episodes were just Mehhhhh...

Lastly, I don't really get why Thai BL dramas are fond of multiple couples in a single show. I'd prefer if they actually cut back on those like there is only one couple (For example : A tale of thousand stars) so that our attention are only focused on them and the plot revolves around that single couple. If not a single couple in the story, two couples would be enough. The disadvantage with multiple couples in a series is that the side couples don't really get to have much screen time and development which will give the series scattered side plots... Sometimes, we need a series that don't rely on sidecouples or multiple couples just to sustain or catch the attention of the viewers or the audience. Though it can be advantageous to some series, sometimes it's not and it can be repetetive if this theme is overly used.

In conlusion, if you're looking for a light, funny and sweet BL thai series with just a bit of angst plus the usual or typical university themed show, you might as well try watching this series. It's average and there are scenes you may or may not like depending on your perspective... Other than that, Enjoy watching.. :)

P.S. I get that some are hating on this series but please don't.. if you're not interested, just don't watch it and stop spreading hate for this series.. :)

This series is a very typical BL project made in Thailand. It doesn't reach the heights, but it can be followed with a little willpower, especially from the beginning. The acting, the music, and the processing are not zero here. Yes, it can be annoying "faculty students again" and their fates, but apparently Thais (and especially Thai women) like it that way. The central pair consists of two very handsome actors, unfortunately they have to play as the characters, especially Tina, are written. We see several actors here that we can also see in other similar series (eg Fong and the Mang-Type duo in the better series for me, Tonhon Chonlatee, etc.).

An ordinary uninformed viewer may think after watching the series that colleges in Thailand are full of gays (when the relationships between friends are gradually revealed, even their brothers are into boys, leaders of groups, etc.) and they are further divided into two groups: "twisted " and friends "who don't know it yet" (ha ha) and these groups are abundantly sung and beaten by hordes of ugly Thai college girls of Lilliputian height with braces and often glasses, which would playfully trump our seventh and eighth graders of three elementary schools (about two exceptions beautiful Thai women would be found in the series, however, I suspect the creators if this is not directly the intention). Even in the last episode, the story didn't really convince me, when Tine is wondering if she should still trust Sarawat, while Sarawat hasn't really done anything. That's why the series can't get more than 5 points from me for the story...


Tento seriál je velmi typickým BL projektem made in Thailand. Nesahá sice do výšin, ale sledovat se to s trochou vůle hlavně zezačátku dá. Nulové zde totiž nejsou ani herecké výkony, hudba, ani zpracování. Ano, může to být už třeba otravné "zase studenti fakult" a jejich osudy, ale zřejmě to tak Thajci (a hlavně Thajky) mají rádi. Ústřední dvojici tvoří dva velmi pohlední herci, bohužel musí hrát tak, jak jsou postavy, především Tina, napsány. Vidíme zde několik herců, které můžeme zhlédnout i v jiných podobných seriálech (např. Fong a duo Mang-Type v pro mě lepším seriálu Tonhon Chonlatee atd.).

Běžný neinformovaný divák si může po zhlédnutí seriálu myslet, že vysoké školy v Thajsku jsou plné gayů (kdy se postupně odkrývají vztahy mezi kamarády, dokonce i jejich bráchové jsou na kluky, vedoucí skupiny atd.) a ještě se rozdělují na dvě skupiny: "vykroucené" a kamarády, "kteří to ještě neví" (ha ha) a tyto skupiny jsou hojně opěvovány a odbivovány houfy nepěkných thajských vysokoškolaček liliputího vzrůstu s rovnátky a mnohdy brýlemi, které by hravě trumfly naše žákyně sedmých a osmých třích základních škol (asi dvě výjimky krásných Thajek by se v seriálu našly, nicméně tvůrce podezřívám, zda to není přímo záměr). Ani v posledním dílu mě příběh moc nepřesvědčil, kdy Tine se rozmýšlí, jestli má stále věřit Sarawatovi, přičemž Sarawat vlastně ani nic neprovedl. Seriál proto ode mě nemůže získat za příběh proto více jak 5 bodů ...
