Best Fricking Thriller K Movie!
I've only seen a few clips, so I didn't know if the movie would meet my expectations. However, it very much went beyond it! Everything was pieced together so well, and I truly enjoyed it. I could and would definitely rewatch this. Each scene was so captivating, and the ending was pleasant and pleasurable. The characters are interesting in a good way! I can't express how much I LOVE this movie, especially since thriller is my all-time favorite genre. I was always looking for this type of thriller with this insane serial killer with interesting characters, and I've finally found it. I've got to give credit to the cast, director, writers, and producer. You can tell everyone's efforts and hard work made into this film. WHAT A THRILLING ROLLER COASTER RIDE.
It's so intense from beginning to end. I was riveted all throughout and it kept me on the edge of my seat. The amount of jump scare almost gave me a heart attack. How I wish I watched this in the cinema.Nothing new or special in this movie, but this is just my cup of tea! I love every bit of it. Korean movies never fail to impress me! Keep it coming!
The star-studded cast really delivers an incredible performance, especially Jin Ki-Joo and Wi Ha-Jun! I loved Wi Ha-Jun in 18 Again and I'm so happy to see him in a villainous role! He's so good. I hope he will have more projects in the future. He deserves more recognition. On the other hand, this is the first time I encounter Jin Ki-Joo and all I cay say is that she's an amazing actress. I believe that she will be a successful actress in the future.
The filming location and score added great tension which made me enjoy this movie more. Kudos to the director and the whole team!

Effectively a crazy movie, ending with a smile on your face. The film reflects reality in its entirety and shows you that you should not judge people by their looks or their problems. The ending was excellent, wonderful, everything you want. Now I understand much better people with hearing problems and what they go through or could go through. Although he was killed, I would have liked to have another ending, but this is a very good one, which I did not expect at all. (An example of an ending would be one where he is in prison, to start a treatment, and years later she would see him again, him apologizing for what he had done, begging for her forgiveness, and her hearing him, because she had an operation to be able to hear. She forgives him, but says that they could not remain friends, not even more than that, but only to greet each other when they meet again. Let him agree, and the film ends with her walking out the door. ) In short, the film is worth seeing, but not in the late hours, especially if you get scared quickly, and not in the dark, if you want to sleep that night. Being targeted by a serial killer who chooses his victims at random and kill without any reason was a scary scenario normally. Even more when you have a disability that may hinder you to seek help or even to protect yourself. Which is why the situation in the movie was scary.
I have to say that I really applaud Jin Kijoo in acting as a deaf person in this movie. Her acting, as well as the actress who played as her mother were really good at bringing out the tense situation on being targeted by a killer while having a great disadvantage of not being able to hear your suroundings as well as not being able to speak clearly.

Really enjoyed it
The acting was excellent, in my opinion. The movie was fast-paced, especially in the second half. There was the thrill in almost every scene.But the acting takes the prize home. I loved the female lead's acting. I look forward to more of her work. The male lead (?) of the Squid Game fame really surprised me with not just his acting but the character choice. I hope he goes on to do more such interesting and diverse roles.
The film doesn't really answer the question of why and who and how this person is the way he is but with a movie titled 'Midnight' and the story unfolding in the course of a single night, I thought it was a perfectly reasonable choice.
Looking forward to more such interesting movies.

Thrillride
It was my first Korean movie and I'm so happy I watched it!I only gave 5 ⭐ for Music because there wasn't like any music and 7.5 ⭐ for Rewatching Value, cuz you know what will happen and it's not as thrilling as watching it for the first time. Still rewatchable!
To the story:
The start of the movie throws you right into cold water with the first murder.
The female main character being deaf and mute makes it kinda easier for the murderer, which is pretty frustrating, but since she's pretty smart and knows how to deal with it, she always manages to get away from him.
The ending is cute with the brother and sister, the main lead and her mother at the sea, but I wished for the "villain" to get a more punishing ending than just dying.
Ending: I wasn't expending her stabbing herself to get back at him but she was giving off baddy vibes😅
I recommend this one for people who like thrillers and want to watch and exciting movie with frustrating scenes and plots.

What a thrill ride this movie was
To be honest I am not one for thriller movies at all, but this movie sure as hell grabbed my attention fully. I saw a video on TikTok that made me want to watch it and I am not disappointed at all.I screamed so loud for nearly half the movie because of stuff I did not expect in the least to happen. My heart was beating a hundred miles an hour because of the suspense in this movie. The main female lead I already love as an actress because of Scarlet Heart and The Secret Life Of My Secretary.
Tonight I will be starting Squid Games because of Wi Ha-Joon. He is an actor I should keep my eyes open for his future work.

eu gostei bastante, confesso que no começo do filme eu fiquei meio hmmm.. porque há > muitas < partes mudas para poder representar o ponto de vista da personagem principal, no começo parece meio confuso, mas ao decorrer do filme, você percebe o quão isso deixa tudo mais intrigante e me fez entrar em pânico juntamente com a personagem quando percebi que ele estava literalmente atrás dela, mas por não ouvir nada, ela nem eu conseguimos notar a aproximação.o final é muito bom e é algo que eu não esperava que fosse acontecer, ela foi bastante inteligente e ele foi um tolo por achar que ela era uma vítima fácil por ser surda, mas o que mais me fez refletir e pensar nesse filme é como pessoas surdas e mudas tem maior dificuldade em poder denunciar crimes, visto que a maioria das pessoas acham que elas estão 'loucas ou tendo crises' e muitas delas também não sabem linguagem de sinais, o que torna tudo mais difícil ainda, como que a vítima vai denunciar e tentar encontrar justiça se as pessoas são ignorantes e não conseguem escutar o que ela está passando? quem vai defender essas pessoas se eles não têm nem a capacidade de se comunicar com elas? isso é tudo muito triste..
ela grita por ajuda, mas ninguém consegue ou para entender o que está acontecendo, é desesperador. linguagem de sinais deferia ser obrigatórias não somente na escola, mas também para cargos públicos, principalmente policiais e médicos.

La historia me pareció muy impactante y me gustó mucho que no es de las películas que tienes que esperar a que vayan por la mitad para que comience la acción ya que la acción comienza en el minuto uno. Es una película que te va a tener en alerta todo el tiempo sin saber qué va a pasar a continuación. Otra cosa que me gustó mucho y que también te ayuda a entender a los personajes y a meterte más en la película es que en muchas escenas te anulan el sonido ambiente dado que los personajes principales son sordos. Al anularte el sonido ambiente, eres capaz de entender mejor cómo los personajes principales de la mujer y la hija se están enfrentando a la persecución del asesino.
En cuanto a los personajes, la madre y la hija me gustaron mucho pero la capacidad de manipulación del asesino en serie me dejó alucinada y era algo que no me podía creer.
Sin embargo, esta serie me ha dejado una profunda reflexión sobre las personas sordomudas. Las protagonistas tienen que luchar constantemente durante la persecución con la comunicación con las demás personas que las rodean pero el resto de personas no saben entender el lenguaje de señas, lo único que ayuda a complicar la situación. Por lo tanto, me dejó reflexionando la necesidad que hay de que los sistemas educativos incluyan lengua de signos desde que somos pequeños para poder conseguir una inclusión total.

Un très bon film
Ce film coréen nous raconte l'histoire d'une femme sourde poursuivie par un tueur psychopathe. C'est haletant, il y a de l'action, du suspense ; on reste bien accroché jusqu'au bout tellement c'est prenant.Tous les acteurs jouent tous très bien. J'ai trouvé original de mettre quelqu'un avec un handicap pour une histoire comme celle-ci. Les musiques sont sympas mais oubliables. La fin est bien mais il manque un p'tit truc. Sinon, j'ai vraiment bien aimé ce film et je le recommande.

Que filme foi esse???Atuação de Jin Kim Joo ( vítima) e Wi Ha Joon( vilão) está impecável assim como todo o elenco não deixou a desejar.
Tratando de um assunto atual e que continua com número crescente a língua de sinais coreana ou língua gestual coreana, ou 한국 수어 é a língua de sinais da Coreia do Sul é a língua de sinais usada pela comunidade surda na Coreia do Sul. Tem origem na língua de sinais japonesa, com a qual mantém muitas similaridades. A protagonista feminina surda entra na mira de um assassino e nesse ritmo dele como uma sede infinita nela que que ocorre todo o cenário do longa metragem entre as ruas estreitas, becos escuros e muita corrida como gato e rato.
A situação agonizante de uma vítima muda que só emite uns ruídos tentando explicar que está sendo perseguida e as pessoas ignorantes em libras não entendendo e de fazer o telespectador roer as unhas inteiras, e com a fato de sua mãe também ser deficiente auditiva complica ainda mas . Um assassino sádico que gosta de brincar enquanto fere suas vítimas, entre a corrida atrás de sua vítima sequestra outra mulher pelo caminho, mas quando enfim vai mata lá e intererrompido.
Uma corrida contra o tempo para se salvar e sua mãe.
O final é surpreendente!

Primeiro de tudo, precisamos falar sobre a atuação do Wi Ha Joon que foi simplesmente perfeita, né?!!! O cara arrasou sendo um tremendo de um psicopata!O desenvolvimento da história, intercalando com os momentos silenciosos e ora com som faz com que a gente sempre se coloque no papel da protagonista que é surda, imaginando o seu desespero em saber: eu faço barulho, ele me escuta, ele faz barulho, mas eu não o escuto.
Sem dúvidas durante todo o filme você fica ansioso e apreensivo e mal vê o tempo passar. Vale muito a pena assistir! Ainda bem que o descobri por acaso na lista de top movies.
