Family show, at it's best, doesn't get better.
This is hands down one of the best family shows I have ever seen. The story and especially the characters are so well written, they all seem like real humans living life like everyone else, I was extremely happy with the way this show portrayed every kind of relationship with family. It was truly addictive and entertaining and made sure I cried BUCKETS of tears in most of the episodes, this much i have never cried while watching a show. I'll take a long time to get over this.I would first like to start off with each and every character that I grew to love with the 40 episodes that I watched.
Li jianjian- she's literally one of the cutest female lead's I have ever seen! I'm so in awe of her. She's so sweet, optimistic and caring about her brothers and fathers. Shes so mature and supportive of everyone in her life and easily wins hearts of everyone.
Ling xiao - hes your typical brother who pretends to not care about you but does things for you secretly haha! I really liked his character too. The pain he went through really touched my heart and song wei long portrays this character so wonderfully even though hes like a 99 liner! Hes so young, yet so good at acting!
Ziqiu- I personally love ziqiu's character alot! He holds a special place in my heart. Hes such a sweet supportive brother! Always letting his sister do what she wants and cleaning up her mess! From when he was a child he was extremely mature and so sweet to everyone. I must say I cried the most for ziqiu. His story was truly so so emotional.
Li haichao- dad li is the best parent in dramaland, I'm not even kidding. Hes the best human and best dad. The love he has for his family is the definition of unconditional. His kindness is truly never seen before. I aspire to be like him in life. Always wishing well and taking care of others around him.
Ling heping- dad ling, even though wasnt around most of the time, he always cares for his kids, does small things and supports them. His small gestures towards his son really makes you see how good of a person he is.
Honestly, these are the main characters but even the side characters are dived deep into and we see them grow into better people too. This is one of the best parts of the show.
Story line of the show is perfectly paced, not too slow not to fast and timeline is also perfect ( 99,09,19). The show has perfectly portrayed everyone's stories with alot of details. We can see that the writer really worked hard to put together such a wonderful story.
Now for what really made me reduce my rating is the romance aspect. It's not that I hated the idea of it but the way they executed it really put me off. For a few episodes I was extremely confused. It just came out of nowhere and was rushed with a little bit of loopholes here and there. But after there 3 4 episodes I got used to it and moved on. I do understand the purpose of it though. Still could have been done better.
Other than this small thing that I didn't enjoy, this show was perfect. I literally reccomend everyone to watch it. It's a piece of art :)

Love the dynamics of the siblings.
Love this one, it's my first time watching CDrama till the end.Sad part is when they got separated, the first time they separated and when they are being far from each other is sad story. When they reunited they need time to adjust its still sad part from the brothers point of view, they both feel guilty and missed JianJian, but she look them like a distant relatives.
I love how the sibiling's relationship, family's conflict, friend's conflict, and how every character developed.
1. Jianjian is childish, clumsy and very dependant to his brothers, later on she is more mature and become an anchor for both his brothers (both his brother struggle as and adult because of their past). In her young days, Jianjian is hot tempered but later she become wisely expressionist.
2. MingYue is obedient, and cant decide for herself. Later she is the more rebellious. TangCan looks rebellious as a student but she become obedient to her parents later, although she fight for her own decision in the last part but it in a right way compared to MingYue who is rebelled in silent.
3. MeiYing eventhough she appeared for short duration also developed more mature after she hangaround with her brother's family. She need family and brother who scold and care for her, she didnt get it from Ling Xiao, but she received that kind of care from Zi Qiu.
The only part i dont like is of course the romance of the siblings, especially JianJian and Ling Xiao. Why the writers also involved Zi Qiu in some kind of romance with JianJian too, eventho its understandable from his point of view, still personally i dont like this plot. Ling Xiao? My god, he is creepily kissed her sister in a romantical way. Later on, when they becomes publicly known as a couple, Ling Xiao more thirsty to kiss and hug JianJian. The story made us understand his more for his action, personally it is creep action for me.
Every character given enough duration to shine and developed.

Amazing cast, great plot!
This drama only has a few episodes so far but as long as it wouldn't get dragging along the next few eps, this will definitely be on the top of my list!! It's so good, the relationship between the whole family is so beautiful to look at. This drama will make you cry, laugh, get angry and many more. It's so amazing how they can make you feel so hooked with just a few eps. I love all the cast too because they are truly fit with their characters. Can't wait for the next episodes! I literally wait every 12 am for WeTV to release the next 2 eps lol. I'm addicted already!Was this review helpful to you?
Brothers became lovers (such a boring thing )
I really like this drama. But If it will show a love triangle then i will really give this drama an extremely low rating. It's not necessary alwasys to show romantic love and triangle story. It will be good if there will brother sister love. This drama has a good opportunity to show everyone that romantic love is not necessary. There can be many different types of relation between a boy and girl. Jian called them brother but unfortunately this drama will end with same rom com plot which will be really boring and disgusting. I thought that writer had a good opportunity to show us about universal love and family bonding. But writer already missed the oppurtunity!! It's really sad....Was this review helpful to you?
Such a beautiful drama
I really don't know what to say about this drama. It's a wonderful drama. When it started airing I was not convinced enough to watch this. But one day I just randomly picked this drama.and it was just beyond my thoughts. It really has a different story from the other dramas I have seen. The story seems to be a bit real. At some point we can relate it to ourself. Their struggles, hardships everything.So this drama is about relationships. It's about 3 children whom live together like a family. I really don't like to share the whole story because I like when people personally enjoy them.
All I can say is it's a good drama with a good story , actors, plot everything.
Even the child actors were really good that they made me shed tears. I don't know if everyone equally like this drama. But if you can feel the relationship, love, support and trust you will surely love this drama. I will never forget these pandemic days where I am eagerly waiting everyday day for the episodes. This is the first drama I am watching when it's airing. Such a good drama.
Some will think that its an emotional drama.butthis one got everything.Family, friendship, love, fun, emotions, heartbreak everything in it. So give it a try and I believe you don't regret it:) . I haven't finished this drama. But even before I loved it.

Love, Love, Love. Of which I hope everyone can find.
This is probably one of my favorite drama of all time as I can find myself relating to many parts of the story. It tackles in everyday slices of life, friendship, relationships, family, children, trauma, and just overall growing up. I liked the complex relationships between the characters, and especially Li Jian Jian's dad, though not as developed compared to the other characters. He's portrayed and seemingly a genuinely sweet person. Not only is this drama relatable for me, it is also humorous and an enjoyable watch. The connection andhow the family goes through painful parts of life together, As I totally understand Ling Xiao's dad, trying his best to conquer his ex-wife's anger.

Ongoing Series Review (I wrote one because it's that good)
I want this drama to be recognized that badly and I'm crossing my fingers that when the future love triangle comes into play, the focus on the family picture won't be lost.Here's my brief review after watching 6 out of 40 episodes that I might tailor after finishing the series:
Everybody who lives and breathes go watch this drama! This is giving me the Korean Reply series nostalgia, especially Reply 1988, but different. It took the family theme 10x more seriously as it's more intimate, with the story revolving mostly on just 5 individuals and how connection is deeper than blood ties because this is a family drama where all the characters "became" not "are" family. Have you ever asked yourself if you can choose your family and not be born into one? Then this is your answer. I also love that a girl is raised by 2 dads and not by the usual mom and dad pair. It's great for not just the hijinks (who can forget the period and bra announcement scene haha), but also the amazing and valuable experience. I don't know if there's anbody who won't be moved by the scene where the female lead's dad cried his heart out because of how much he felt sorry for the two sons that he raised who are not even biologically his and how much he wanted to be recognized as their father. If such a human exists, please let me meet him or her. Seriously.

Typical long run family drama with alot of family problems
Kindly note that I'm writing this while watching the show .Things I've liked so far- I really enjoyed 1st few eps which beautifully showed Family bond between FL & her father, what a caring and heartwarming fatherly figure he is , he is my favorite character in whole drama who makes this whole drama wholesome . Subsequently Drama showed us problematic families like of ML 's and 2nd ML's . Later, we can all children and their eating meals together, spending time with each other and somewhat living together which is something really nice .
When it comes to the friendship between leads , that's great . It felt really wholesome, heartwarming , refreshing , innocent .
For emotions , Writer showed He Zi Qiu , poor kid who is gentle , caring , thoughtful but had terrible mother who is irresponsible towards him . All of them encountered different kind of pain but what Ziqui experienced was beyond too deep.
For frustrating us , writer showed Ling Xiao's mother who annoys us in all way possible and blames her own kid for something unfortunate , though Ling Xiao's sister is no joke too . I applaud Steven Zhang’s acting skills. He’s so good. It looks so natural when he’s trying to control his tears. I'm not that impressed by other's acting but Steven Zhang’s , he has improved a lot .

It's a nice story about a girl and 2 boys growing up without a parent or both but they came together and formeda make-up family with close ties. All credit should go to the single father, Li Hai Chao who generously takes in Ze Chui
as his son and also cares for his neighbour and his son Ling Xiao. He plays a mother's role, cook and take care of the home
besides owning a noodle restaurant. The boys are very good looking, well behaved and love Li Jian Jian and her father Li
Hai Chao like their own family. The family closeness and caring is superb, not much of these relationship can be seen in real life. Negative part is - the actress playing as Li Jian Jian is not pretty and looks are way behind the boys. Should have a prettier girl for this show. And she kisses Ling Xiao too much. Overall, superb acting by all of them.

Such a MASTERPIECE!! ONE OF THE BEST CHINESE DRAMA I HAVE EVER WATCHED..
After a long time i found such a drama that left me speechless...Usually i Don't have that patience and time to watch drama mainly modern drama that is over 40 episode...but this drama made me hooked up all day long..i even can't realized how time is flying..its a total package of that you actually need in a drama..★.Good acting,Family love,Girls friendship,slight romance,funny background music(yes, i laughed a lot),brotherly caring,some hilarious moments that made my family thought i m going to insane(because i was laughing like a mad during watching this)
★ Acting/Cast::: They choose the bestest cast of this drama...
[★] Li Jian jian---played by SEVEN TAN...Such a versatile actress.. From yuan jinxia-to li jian jian to shiyi niang...she amazed me everytime by her outstanding performance ..such a gem..it’s really hard to believe she is 30 but played a role 16 yrs old girl then 25 yrs...yes,only she is the one can do these...A big heart for her...
[★] He ziqui----Played by steven...its my first time to see him...What a actor...Really made my tears down from my eyes by his crying..He really did a great job..
[★]Ling xiao---big brother((they are not blood related,neighbour)) played by wei long...he is really handsome...and his moments with seven tan was very heart warming..i didn’t like him in his drama "find yourself" with Victoria song..but in this drama He gives his best..
[★] Li haichao and Ling heping---- My two favourite character...i really really love their friendship and teasing each other..they are the best father..
[★] other character::: Tang cen was eye catching...i love 3 girls friendship..Qi mingyue was done a great job..
(<★>)MUSIC:::: The first drama that has a HILARIOUS background music...it was so funny...and i really enjoyed the scene with these music...
OST---- the opening song was so beautiful.. I never missed these...other songs like "" RAIN"' Always make me remembering steven crying part...it was so touching...
"LIKE A BREEZE""---- Sung by SEVEN TAN..it is my favourite..everytime i heard it,, their kiss scene are floating before my eyes(its so silly)...
[★]Rewatch VALUE--- obviously gives it a try after some days cz i already rewatched it 4 times....but only the parts with the trio and father's... So i give it a 9.5...
[★] OVERALL---- It’s is really a heart warming drama...u will enjoy every episode...when i finished the drama i felt so lonely,i missed them badly...that's why i rewatched them...Specially I will never forget the character of SEVEN TAN AND STEVEN....★★★

Got disgusted after few episodes
The initial 10 episodes were so good and I watched the series and i really was disgusted by LX's creepiness even during their school days. Sometimes it felt like he was sexualising LJJ too much when she was purely considering him as brother/sibling. And was i wrong? he really had romantic feelings when the writers showed us the not blood related siblings at first and punched on our face with LX's character trying steal a kiss from LJJ. I dropped the series after they started showing the love triangle plot and LX forcing her to have a romantic relationship with him. Other than this disgusting plot line, I really loved the Dads dynamic, fl's friendship wth the girls. I also wanted to convey that how the brothers expected LJJ to be the same after ghosting her for years and suddenly she must go back to her old life and old self and treat them nicely. Overall the plot was good initially and I would have given 8 if they avoided the romantic plot among the siblings. The other brother plot was also good I watched only the last episode to know if he finally got to live with his mother or not.Was this review helpful to you?
Don't Invest , not a Family Love drama... it's going to turn into a love triangle.
I was looking forward to this drama given that it had Seven Tan and SWL. But I was very disappointed despite enjoying the first five episode, because this drama is going to turned into a love triangle. It's so disturbing , it ruins the family plot that originally peaked my interested in this drama. I am so sad! The synopsis completely lied to me! I also find it strange that despite growing up together, they did not form that chemical bond in their brain, that most individuals will naturally form with their family members, making them unattractive to their sibling and parents.Don't watch it if you are looking for a heart warming family drama.
