General's Lady Episode 2

Shen Jin thinks General Chu doesn’t like her. Rou Rou also tells her the rumors about his 3 dead wives. But Shen Jin has to stay as the marriage was ordered by the Emperor. Bao Zi Tou informs General Chu that a spy was found among the wedding entourage. Shen Jin is mad that General Chu suspects that she is a spy. She is bored with being confined and wants to teach him a lesson. Shen Jin swallows a fake death pill. Rou Rou rushes to inform General Chu that Shen Jin has ingested poison. 2 Falcon Tribe members try to kidnap her. She follows them blindly assuming that they were sent by General Chu to escort her. General Chu tails them thinking that she is a spy. But he realizes his mistake after listening to their conversation. The pill takes effect and Shen Jin appears dead. General Chu saves her and carries her home. She wakes up and the general notices her jade pendant. He takes it from her and locks her in her room. Shen Jin picks the lock and escapes. She takes General Chu’s horse and ventures out. But the guards stop her from leaving the city and accuses her of stealing the general’s horse. Bao Zi Tou arrives to bring her back home. She is mad and threatens to report to the Emperor that General Chu has yet to marry her as decreed. She demands him to fulfill 3 conditions to soothe her anger. General Chu rides with Shen Jin out of the city and enjoys the sights. Shen Jin remembers her pendant and wants to get it back. She tells General Chu that the pendant is from her mother but holds back on other information claiming that her memory is foggy. She demands delicious food to recall what her mother had told her.
