General's Lady Episode 3

Shen Jin sees General Chu quietly leaving his residence. She looks for her pendant in his study but couldn’t find it. The Falcon Tribe attacks the city. Some attacks their residence. General Chu is in a secret chamber. He tries to open a door but it refuses to budge. He takes out Shen Jin’s pendant and concludes she isn’t a spy but is sent by someone who is secretly helping him. Shen Jin puts on General Chu’s armor and mask to scare the attackers to buy time while the maids wave flags behind walls to give the impression an army is nearby. Just when the attackers realize she is a fake, General Chu appears and kills all of them. The maids and Bao Zi Tou are impressed with Shen Jin’s bravery and wits. They celebrate with wine and Shen Jin becomes drunk. She demands from General Chu to have his bed which is much more comfortable than hers. He leaves her sleeping in his bedroom for the night. Lord Liu warns the Emperor that General Chu is a threat with his military power and he might exploit Shen Lin to create trouble. The Emperor sends the court artist to observe and paint General Chu and his wife’s daily life to satisfy the minister. General Chu and Shen Jin agree that they should be husband and wife in name only. They will share his bedroom. Shen Jin has to sleep on the bench.
