Marquis Wang and Yun’niang have to give face to Shen Jin due to her status as an earl’s wife. Shen Jin demands more respect from them towards Shen Shu. She also wants Shen Shu to be given the right to bring up Yun’niang’s child. Yun’niang has to agree when the topic of Shen Shu’s miscarriage is brought up.
