Han Hyo Joo the actor you are.
Han Hyo Joo is the main reason watched this and she delivered again. I watched the movie Always/Only You (2011) and she caught my eyes in the movie due to her acting, hence i watched this movie because of her and she definitely did not disappoint at all. You should watch this when you are really bored, i promis it's worth the time.Was this review helpful to you?
I'll admit I only initially watched this because of Han Hyo Joo...
Story (7.5):
The beginning has some antics to get the two leads together, one a firefighter and the other a doctor, and I don't think it felt cliche or contrived at all. Perhaps a little, but it was pretty refreshing and a bit comedic too.
Later on in the story I felt like I was watching a couple different movies, most notably the indie film Fireproof (EXACT SAME TRAIN SCENE I TELL YOU), and at the end of the movie I felt like some parts of the story line weren't fulfilled, but this is still a fun movie to watch regardless.
Acting/Cast (9.5):
Han Hyo Joo.
I was going to end this part here, but I guess I'll continue on. So, I kind of like Han Hyo Joo as an actress. I've seen her in a billion other things, like Dong Yi, Shining Inheritance, Always, etc. and I liked her in those; if you did too, then there's no way she'll disappoint here! The rest of the cast was pretty decent and some I felt were pretty topnotch even if I'd never seen them anywhere else. I've got to say, the husband of the brain dead woman really surprised me with his acting...
Music (7.0):
Meh. I grew up on Beethoven and Mozart; sue me, but nothing life-changing here. Fortunately it didn't stick out as bad either.
Rewatch Value (7.0):
I don't rewatch things very much, but I'd say given enough time I could easily rewatch this one.
Overall (8.0):
Maybe a bit optimistic of a score. I'd give it more of a 7.75, but I'll round up on this one since it was decent. I'll admit I was using that 10 second skip feature a little bit at parts, but it was worth the watch. Recommended especially to romcom and Han Hyo Joo fans!

Nostalgic emergency
This movie is everything!I first watched it a few years ago and instantly knew i would rewatch on a weekly basis, wich i did for some time actually.
Then i watched the movie two times on my flight to Korea this October and almost cried from the nostalgic this gave me.
I just love the slowly melting heart of the Male lead and his kind of "dumb" and stoic personality, he would gladly gives his life if it meant just saving in more person, and as a medical perfessional i love that on him so much.
The female lead always annoyed me when i used to watch this movie when i was younge, i never saw the moment she actually liked him and did not try to use him to get her job back.
But now i love her, homegirl is a bit pushy but she knows what she wants and she has a really great heart.
Best extra is the side couple I'm not gonna lie i love these two. And of course my honey Ma Dongseok as the Captain, this was the first drama of him that i watched and from that point it was a down spiral.
Overall i just have to say this.
IF YOU THINK ABOUT WATCHING THIS MOVIE, DO IT. I WOULD SELL MY SOUL AND MY CATS ( SO U KNOW ITS THAT GOOD ) FOR THE CHANCE TO WATCH THIS MOVIE FOR THE FIRSY TIME ONCE AGAIN.

This love needs CPR
FL sucks and it's okay if a character sucks but she should get some character development. I'm not saying she didn't get character development, she did, but it was sudden and it didn't make sense.She only cared about herself and she repented at the end, when everything escalated.
She also approached ML with ulterior motives but then she fell in love with him and forgot about that. Honestly, I'm glad she did because if she asked ML to sue the guy after they were together (in love and happy), I don't think a truck of character development could make anyone like her.
The romance was cute but rushed, one moment ML is thinking of his dead wife and crying and the next he is kissing the FL.
Then they break up at some point and after that, the movie became more stupid but also more entertaining. One example, a bunch of concrete fell on ML but he is completely fine after that and running around. A bunch of concrete never fell on me but I think that's unrealistic.
Also, what was the point of FL being sick. It did nothing except make her faint at very convenient times.
Despite the garbage plot, the leads kissing and being cute together made me smile. The side characters are also nice, no one was annoying.
Overall, it's an okay movie. There's some humor and cute romance at times.

She's a surgeon!??!
I REALLY struggled with this one. First, the female was so self-absorbed it wasn't even funny. She only cared about herself and furthering her career. She was not a likeable character, and everything she did smacked of self-interest in trying to save her own skin. Because everything she did was to benefit herself, I didn't buy the relationship until the very end, and even then, I was unable to point to when she started to like him. This also left me with the feeling that everything she did was a lie.The male lead, however, was a man stuck in his grief, and the actor did an excellent job. I really enjoyed watching him coming out of that grief, yet he was really able to capture that survivor's guilt. I probably would have rated this even lower, if not for him.
I also took issue with a lot of the medical things. First, there is no way they would let her be a surgeon with the medical condition she had, especially since it's often brought on by stress. Then, the whole thing with the patient in the hospital that this story revolves around (don't want to give anything away) - there is no way the hospital could have or would have let that situation play out that way, and for that extended period of time.
To sum up, worth watching for the male lead actor/character. Thankfully it was a movie and not an episodic drama.

Must say, I was very disappointed. The cast were great but the story was so absurd. The concept was good but the actions by the characters were so illogical. Especially in the last, I was so annoyed when theere was unnecessary debacle regarding the rescue situation.
I enjoyed a couple of scenes, the actors were great, the bonding was cute but the writing fell severely short.

La protagonista è inizialmente totalmente odiosa e forse anche psicopatica ma nel corso dell'opera cresce e matura fino a farmi commuovere in una specifica scena. ML nulla da dire. Mi è piaciuto anche tanto come sono riusciti a far sviluppare i compagni del protagonista, ovviamente non tutti perchè non ce n'era il tempo, ma quelli a lui più vicini. Il suo passato, il suo attaccamento al lavoro, il suo senso di vuoto.. tutto davvero ben fatto.
Oltre a ciò questo film nasconde tante piccole lezioni molto belle e importanti, nonostante tutto. Poteva sicuramente essere fatto meglio, ma il risultato è che vorrei rivederlo subito: l'ho visto ieri sera XD
