Here’s another first for me. The music. Like the Hawaii Five-O older catchy theme music, I always looked forward to this ones and bops to it. Then, there are two songs sung brought in during those climatic moments. Both are very good but the one by female artist is so beautiful. After a great episode, I’d linger on just letting the soothing song sink in. I have no idea what it’s saying (no translation) but it’s fine, it touches deeply. I’ll later find out but that is one beautiful voice. Oh yeah, can’t forget to give credit to cast. Mature cast, perfectly selected…bravo.

A cute Story.
This was just normal day life in the neighborhood. I loved the storyline and all the actors who had parts in this story. Chen Xiao who played the character Yang Guang, he is an excellent actor. I enjoyed him Queen Dugu! This was kind of a relaxing part for him. Wang Xiao Chen who played the lawyer Liao Wang, her character was rough! My favorite part of of this drama was Wei Qing who played the part of Yang Guang's grandmother. She played that part like it was her real life. She was truly believable. She is a true actress. I thank all the supporting actors and actresses, which is one of my favorite things to say. The visual and the storyline about mediation is a true thing in the United States. Our court system has mediators but only if it is about children. I wished we had that same mediation for adults. "Citizen Mediators" is not a bad idea. Letting go of old grievances
This drama gave me a warm feeling as well as a caution. The plot of this drama is very simple. What interests me is the complexity of relation that is shown with utmost care. ML has a hidden trauma whereas FL grew up in a family of love, their connection brought change in their lives.Characterization of this drama is really good. What I liked about it is that the supporting characters added value, so was the development of main characters. Both ML and FL faced what they were trying to sweep under the rug.
This drama as an example of a life lesson is worth watching. At the end, it conveyed the meaning that understanding others and letting go of old grievances is a part of life. The cases ML and FL worked together gave an overview of how ordinary people in everyday life deals with various problems regarding relationship and life.
The theme of this drama is unique and it has a huge spectrum. It dealt with the very basic yet complicated question- ‘is marriage the end of love?’, ‘does harbouring hate and anger worth it’ so on and so forth. It gave me a sense of understanding and a foundation to ask questions. Every life and every relation is unique in its own way- that's what I learnt and liked.
The only drawback is that it's a long drama and there are some unnecessary side plots. But if anyone likes a drama about life and relationships this should be a good example.

A really good "Life" drama. Try it !
A very good drama (with excellent actors - and I want to praise the CL's performance ) rather focused on daily life, complicated family relationships, with just a hint of romance.The Guideline is a mediation TV show. The host (Chen Xiao) is talented, involved, altruistic, .... and will have to face his own fears and traumas (and those of his lover, a lawyer) to resolve the cases discussed.
The plot is original and the story well written. Social and family issues are handled with great sensitivity, tact and intelligence. The pace is dynamic, so you won't get bored for a moment.
I was intrigued by the script, but I didn't expect a series of this quality!!
I highly recommend this drama, well constructed and well told.

Un très bon drama (avec d'excellents acteurs - et je tiens à souligner la performance des 2 leads) plutôt axé sur la vie quotidienne, les relations familiales compliquées, avec juste un soupçon de romance.
La ligne directrice est une émission TV de médiation. L'animateur (Chen Xiao) est talentueux, impliqué, altruiste, .... et devra affronter ses propres peurs et traumas (et ceux de sa lover, avocate) pour résoudre les cas abordés.
Le plot est original et la story bien écrite. Les problèmes de société, de famille, sont traités avec beaucoup de sensibilité, de tact, d'intelligence. Le rythme est rapide, on ne s'ennuie donc pas un instant.
J'étais intriguée par le script, mais je ne m'attendais pas à une série de cette qualité !!
Je recommande vivement ce drama, très actuel, bien construit et bien raconté.
