Young, Sweet Love
It's such a lighthearted and sweet romantic comedy that makes you giddy with excitement of young love.I couldn't wait to see the newer episodes so I went somewhere else to watch it. Darren Chen's expressions are so adorable and the chemistry between him and Chen Yao are progressing nicely. Both are delivering their roles convincingly.
The games are also believable and the lessons learned along the way are encouraging.
The main premise reminds me of Sulli's "To the Beautiful You" when the FL pretended to be a boy and the ML became her roommate. The difference is that both joined in a sport which gives the same vibe as "Skate Into Love". For me, it's a great combination already.
Update: Both leads were on point with their roles and you were just drawn into their young, sweet love. Darren Chen as Wen Bing is so cute and convincing. His concern and the way he helped the main female lead to hide her identity was very endearing. The stolen and secretive looks or smiles directed at Sang Tian made me feel like I was younger and was also back in school! I especially liked that part when the female lead didn't know what " Ti Amo" meant and she kept saying it to him! Sebrina Chen on the other hand, did so well in her acting too. The scenes where she played hockey also looked realistic.
The rest of the cast are all lovable. I like the camaraderie and friendship that they build. It's so heart-warming and made you wish you're included in their circle. The other story arcs were not too drawn out and quite enjoyable without veering too much off topic from the main leads.
Most of all, I just loved the ending. It was super adorable and the scenery peaceful and gorgeously shot. The way the camera panned out in the end to show the whole view was breathtaking. Definitely worth your while!

light and fluffly drama to watch
I started watching this drama because I watched Maiden Holmes. Maiden Holmes and My Unicorn girl have the same FL. Even in Maiden Holmes FL disguised as a boy and she looks good in disguise. So I have started watching My Unicorn girl drama.I have not disappointed at any point. ML is very handsome and the side couple stories are also good.
Beware that most of the part FL is disguised as a boy. Only for a few scenes, she has seen as a girl.
But I liked her as a boy. This is entirely my opinion.
If you want to watch a short and sweet drama go for it don't hesitate.

So addicting sweet and funny
As many other viewers, I didn't expect much from this drama when I started it but it made me change my mind quickly. since the first episodes I was more and more interested in the story and I was craving to find out whta will happen next between the main characters.Even if it's full of predictables scenes and there're not much plot twist, there're always scenes that make me unexpectedly happy and smile for no reason. There're always some situation that makes you laugh and puts you in good mood.
The chemistry between the leads are great, both for the actors and characters, and not only acting is good but also the story is told in a cute and enjoying way.
It's a really funny, entertaining and sweet drama and the visual is just so good! It's also heartwarming and touching in some episodes but for the most o the time is sweet, sweet and sweet but in a really good way.
I like Darren, I've seen many of his drama and this is definitely his best work in my opinion. His acting is really improved a lot and he really did a great job in this drama. He gave something special to this character and I found it very believable, also the other characters are well well played and the friendship between the character is well build.
I really enjoyed this drama and I reccomed it to everyone who likes cute and light romantic drama that boosts your mood.

Simple cute and funny story, no jumping scene ,,,the sequence of story scenes is clear and complete
the story in this drama is quite light sport, romance, comedy,, Simple romance and simple funny comedygood ending according to my expectations, not to hurry
for a long time I didn't get a drama with a story with a well-edited plot, cut correctly and there was no jumping scene ,, the story sequence is correct and the story is pretty good and interesting, no excessive acting,,, I don't know how a film editor works, only for this film I hope to know the editor because he edits quite well
most of Chinese dramas now, they are not good at editing The scenes and most of the scenes that are displayed are out of order or something is missing, making the story happen suddenly
no stories with unnecessary misunderstandings, thats why i like, they don't use misunderstandings for complicate the story(just a while)or to make it a main conflict
but sorry for the shenweilian, the misunderstanding he received was more haha
And the romance scenes are mostly due to fall,,Once or twice is still allowed, but most times it becomes nothing
the scene for other actors besides the lead is quite good so besides the lead, the support is also have the romance scene and story, although not much, at least have an ending

Episode 4 When shenweilian was locked in the toilet, didn’t the door of the toilet open out? Why can’t he open it? I replayed it several times, and I didn’t think there was anything wrong with the broom,,It seems that the broom hasn't stuck anything?

Awesome scenes
It had a really good story and good casts.I liked that and ofcourse i will rewatch it later
First I watched it beacase of main roles but sub roles were reallyyy good and lovely.
Couples were amazing and it had good feeling.
But I can't find any series prettier than 'hidden love'
can you suggest anything to me like that?

"My Unicorn Girl" é um drama doce e divertido que cativa o público desde o início. O roteiro é excelente, com uma trama envolvente que nos prende a cada episódio.O destaque fica por conta do casal principal, Wen Bing e Sebrina Chen. Wen Bing entrega uma atuação brilhante, conseguindo transmitir de forma convincente a transformação do seu personagem assim que descobre que a sua suposta "amiga" é, na verdade, uma menina. A química entre os dois protagonistas é inegável, tornando seus momentos juntos extremamente cativantes.
Darren também merece elogios pela sua performance cômica, mostrando que é um ator versátil e talentoso. Já Sebrina Chen dá vida à sua personagem de forma impecável, trazendo nuances emocionais que enriquecem ainda mais a trama.
No geral, "My Unicorn Girl" é um drama doce e divertido, com um elenco fantástico e um roteiro envolvente que cativa o público do início ao fim. Uma excelente opção para quem procura uma história leve e cativante.

PERFECT, Gentle and light, couldn’t stop smiling
It was so cute. Omg after having watched so many dramas only a few hit every now and then. This one is definitely one of them. It was so cute. So freaking good that I was squeeling and couldn’t stop smiling. I loved how it didn’t follow the usual cross dressing stories plot line where the boy finds later girl has to hide and face major consequences. I loved how the guy found it out as early lmao. Also nothing rly serious or stressful happened except for so 21 where it was like omg why did they suddenly bring such an evil mom arc even when his mom already has u know softened. I liked that it was light throughout and never boring. I loved how it starts with a disclaimer by author that this sort of crossdressing scenario is only in fiction and never in real life. Also oh my god the male lead, is amazingly perfect. When I say perfect I don’t mean to say the kind of perfect u see usually in some cliche dramas where the male lead is good at everything, and popular and all. No. When I say perfect I mean, he has ego, he is smart but not arrogant and he is rlly positive and the good kind of positive sly. He is kind too. Omg this is the first male lead about whom I have not even a single complaint. I never hated him for even a second in the whole drama. Same with the female lead. She is perfect but not the cliche perfect. She is kind, cheerful and again no ego. Omg they r both just so innocent yet a power couple in their own soft gentle way. One of the most mischievous love feeling ever!!!
At the beginning, I'm not have any expectation on this drama. I thought that it might be another story to cure my boredom. But it appears that only a few episodes have passed, I can't stop watching it, I feel in love with Wen Bing's personality so much. Even the story are all utterly predictable but I still enjoy it anyway. All praise goes to the lead characters.Darren Chen is the best who express Wen Bing personality. His face expression is another level, in 1 second but could say so many word. I really respect his acting on this. Wen Bing already become on of my best male role ever! He has everything that gentlemen should have.
The relationship between all character also very cute, the ice hockey team friendship is very pure and cute. It make me think that how lucky that they have each other as friend. All of them not have much non-sense behavior. They support each other as much as possible.

My Unicorn Girl is just another cross-dressing drama, bye bye hello Bromance, one set at the ice-rink of a university, hiya Skate into Love, except that:
Yeah, the concept of a girl cross-dressing as a boy has been repeatedly revamped in the contemporary online to online society alluding to an idealized fictionalized version of offline to offline life that is as farfetched as it is tangible and authentic, at least at some point. Imaginaries can be pink and cute inside in a white and blue ice-hockey outfit to fulfil a dream, unbeknownst the later awareness that reality can and might surpass any giggling dumdeedum da-dumdeedum butterfly fantasies.
Pi Ya Nuo and Du Zi Feng – by no way connected to Si Feng in Love & Redemption – fall for one another. Sang Tian and Wen Bing do the same. Tang Xue and Li Yu Bing, it was complicated. Ironically it shouldn’t be considering human evolution. Bromance dates from 2015, Skate into Love, 2020 and My Unicorn Girl also 2020 but is the dìdi of the three. Growth ought to be a progression, not a regression, that’s within the sphere of mathematical science.
Sang Tian is a Pi Ya Nuo younger version. A mascarade of a girl cosplaying into a boy who falls head over trainers in love with an actual one, Wen Bing. This is beautifully sweet as love, love is its own recognition even when in hiding.

My Unicorn Girl doesn’t have the flair of media buzz protruding from every social media cell on face of the dramaland's earth like Skate into Love did, neither a centimetre of the buzz, which says a lot both in a yin and yang emphatic vintage dualism. Skate into Love at one end of the spectrum, Bromance and My Unicorn Girl at the other end, the underdogs.
How trilling! No, there’s nothing remotely trilling or new about Unicorn Girl, unless it actually contained a unicorn rather than being the name of the team and a symbol of love and unity. Everything else exists already including good actors, rephrasing good performers, not necessarily young idols who play poker faces at acting.
Darren Chen expanded his entertainment drama presences that Meteor Garden’s popularity trampolined him into. He might have portrayed a stoic unflappable character whom Wen Bing mirrors to the bone in a profusion of ways including, income, social status and mannerisms that they might as well be carbon copies of one another in different societal settings. Even the zigzagged confusion between the appalling way of visually expressing his feelings and the extreme effort to make them stand out were a hit. What was amiss in My Unicorn Girl was the nonexistent second male lead attitude in a male lead role. People have flaws. Characters have flaws. Everyone has flaws.
Sebrina Chen on the other hand despite not having Darren’s female equivalent status quo in the industry nor the imperial visibility to stand out yet brought vibes of Megan Lai's acting including in her onscreen chemistry with Baron Chen, here, rather, Sebrina with Darren, which works marvelously like two witty peas in a lotus pod. It’s so interesting and jovial to watch their banter episode in, episode out that at the end of the series, the only regret is that is over. Bromance transmutted into true love. The end.

the show was really cute . HELL all the characters in the show was really cute ,I love them all . Hats off to the actors,actress,writers,producers and other staff members for creating this cute show. I was literally screening when i saw the FL she was totally cute. THis show was totally cite where i just wish it was BL instead of straight romance.well anyways i like the red notebook drawing there are really cute. i am just gonna repeat the word "cute" because the whole show was cute for me. i liked all the character except for 1 Meng Na [Figure skater] (Miranda Ma) i don't hate the person i hate the character she was given, hell i hate characters that doesn't take a hint that a person isn't into them but they continues to come back this was the only character that i seriously dislike. I would rather see Miranda Ma act as a different character because her character in this show was kinda a waste to her talent.Was this review helpful to you?
