Almost perfect
I started this show on a whim and really enjoyed it, the couples are cute and the plot is interesting. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a romance drama to watch but it wasn’t a perfect watch for me.Things I liked:
- the main couple was super cute and healthy. Any issues they had were worked through quickly and they had very little drama.
-I love a male lead who is down bad for the female lead from basically the start. Which Kelei was.
- Xiao Xia and Wenbo were super cute and I was really happy when they finally got together
-Keyao and Yuhan were really cute too (though I wish we had actually seen them get back together on screen)
-the side characters are fun and entertaining. I really liked everyone at the hospital and all the people in the Tiger unit
-I like medical dramas and action dramas so when the big events happened, I was super interested
Things I didn’t like so much:
-the sisters were really annoying and I wish they’d not introduced them. It showed how awesome Mi Ka is but they just looked utterly delusional and baseless because Kelei clearly didn’t care about them that much so them trying so hard was weird. Especially because they are both full grown adults.
-they introduced the female SWAT officer and then did nothing with her. I feel like they planned to make her the SFL but changed their mind midway through the earthquake arc and didn’t know what to do with her after so they just put her in the background. It was strange.
- I feel this drama dragged some, mainly towards the middle. It needed to have more medical events and missions because without them, it was slow.
-it was kind of ableist? Idk, maybe I’m biased as a disabled person but anytime they brought disability up, it made me feel weird. Disabled people aren’t useless and I assure you, life doesn’t end just because you can’t walk.
-the sponsorships were really obvious and were not integrated very smoothly so it became grating.
-the Yanshan jealousy plot. I wish they’d gone with something else instead. They ruined a friendship for nothing and then Mi Ka just forgave her cause she has mommy issues? She purposely tried to ruin her career, I couldn’t see her the same after that and Mi Ka should never have forgiven her.
Overall, I really really enjoyed it but I wish it had been slightly faster paced and they had done some things differently. I know the list of complaints seems longer than the list of what I actually enjoyed but that’s not the case. I really liked this drama and I recommend it highly

The perfect drama which everyone should watch
I will give it a 10/10 because it's so good. There are sad moments, there are happy moments. I love it a lot. I usually don't watch police or army related drama's but I watched it and I didn't regret it even a little. The acting was just so superb. It feels like they are not acting but is really too much into the role. I love all the couples. But my fab was the second couple. There are many episodes if u tell from my pov but each and every episode holds it's respective view. The place where they propose each other was also very unique and hardly anyone can even think about it. Not only I love there acting, but also the producer and the crew member who helped them. Trying too hard to be perfect
I guess my opinion of this show is much different to popular vote but I didn't really like it.The start was nice ,but as we progressed further I felt like the FL was written to be too perfect and like if she gets angry anytime or shows her emotions too much she is selfish. She has to be this green flag just so that they can promote the show as non toxic .
There were way to many comments about the FL's weight which ribbed me the worng way. Also the ned conflict about her going for foreign studies ,and all the spotlight was on what the ML wants ,so much so as she was going to give it up until the ML "allowed" her to go. I mean seriously....
The secondary couples were not very well written . Their conflicts were solved to easily at the end without dealing with the actual problem.
All in all I expected much better going into it , it it was all that mature and free flagish as everyone claimed

A Master Piece ! Must Watch! This is NOT the Chinese Adaptation of DOTS
How should I begin? I first thought that this was the Chinese adaptation of the Korean drama Descendants of the Sun, but I was wrong ! This has nothing to do with DOTS and the plot is really beautiful. The chemistry between main leads is so damn great! And the second leads also act really great and their romances are also very cute! You can see so many attractive stunt shows in this drama because the male lead is a captain of the SWAT special police team. And he is so damn handsome!One main thing about this drama is that there are no quarrels between the main leads like in other dramas. In other words, we can say that it's a light hearted drama. It has got its own charms and thrills which can make you sit at the edge of the chair while watching this. The storyline focuses on how the main leads face many adventures together, not just normal adventures, but life-or-death adventures, which makes this drama more exciting.
What I can surely say is that, you won't regret watching this. So if you are contemplating about watching this, I tell you to give it a try and you will not regret any second of it !

A drama that is focused on the balance of career and life
This is another chill slice of life drama to watch. The story is really quite simple, there are some tense scenes but due to the characters' line of jobs.I've suddenly became a Bai Jingting fangirl after watching him on 'Reset' and been going through his dramas, after seeing so many good reviews here, I've decided to watch it. Honestly, this drama is really cute to watch, I love the realistic and natural approach they did here. Though I think 40 episodes was a bit too much for this kind of drama.
Things I love about this drama:
- I really love the healthy relationship between the main leads. Both their occupations are very demanding, yet they were able to maintain their relationship. They have a huge trust, patience and understanding with one another. Also they would apologize if one made a mistake, and they do clear up any misunderstandings with one another. This is something I usually don't see in dramas, and I really love it so much.
- Also I love how natural the main leads chemistry was. Also after their characters got together, they really gave a good job showing how awkward things can be at a start of a relationship and how it builds up afterwards.
- They really show the importance and difference between a police and a doctor; and how these jobs are very crucial and demanding. I love seeing the main leads very dedicated to their jobs.
- It's my first time to see a drama having three couples. I love the huge difference with each couples, and they were quite enjoyable for me (though the second couple did get to the point of being frustrating). Main couple was a huge fluff-fest, and show how pure and innocent their love is. While second couple was quite funny, more on the passionate side despite the second ML was a huge blockhead. Third couple, I seriously love them as they were really level headed and mature. Another thing each characters of these three couples, I love how passionate they are with their work as well and how helpful they are when a disaster strikes in.
- Have to say, I love the FL's character development from the first few episodes and how she became such a great doctor in the future. There are several episodes where you could see that she's a strong FL and a smart one as well, you could also see her overcoming something she fears in the early episodes and I really love that they made her character that way. Another thing I like was that our FL looked very realistic with none/natural make-up and didn't doll up much; which is given as her occupation as a doctor. I found this detail really nice, as I don't see any real life doctors dolling-up for their work.
- It's fun seeing the ML's gap, being a very strict and cold (?) captain of the police team and becoming a very smitten and awkward man when it comes to the FL.
- OST, I seriously love both the opening and outro songs so much. Outro was very upbeat, while the outro was really calming; have never skipped them when I move to the next episodes.
Cons:
- Despite this being quite an enjoyable drama for me; I felt that 40 episodes was a bit too much for my opinion. I felt that after the main leads got together, the story started to progress a bit slow and the next few happenings/arcs in the drama was a bit unnecessary.
- I did mentioned that I still love all three couples of this drama. But as mentioned that the second couple did quite get frustrating, and how I wish they didn't drag their relationship until further down the episodes. This couple also have a love triangle. (I'm glad they didn't put it with the main leads)
- There are several side characters that are very annoying and can be stressful. Two of the annoying side character have an arc nearing the end of the series and I felt that this arc was just not needed at all.
- The romance to be honest was really slow paced, especially for the second and third couples.
- Not sure, but I didn't really feel much character development with the main ML; but it was nice seeing flaws about him in several parts of the drama. He didn't felt too perfect, but I really did wish they gave him a development that was really noticeable.
- I felt like they have forgotten several characters, such as the main FL's best friend that has a sickness. I wanted to hear a closure for her, but we never gotten it through the run of the drama and it's like she just disappeared.
To be honest I'm not sure if the medical terms and procedures are all correct, but I'm hoping they are as it would be very informative.
Overall:
The story is not completely unique, but it's enjoyable. The first half of the drama really hooked me especially during the disaster arc, but as mentioned I felt the pacing started to slow down after the main leads got together. If you're into something light to watch, seeing couples with a healthy relationship, a drama with a dash of several tense and maybe frustrating scenes; maybe you'll enjoy this drama too! For re-watch, I'm not yet sure if I'll do another re-watch for this; sure I did enjoy this but not to point that I would do another run again for re-watching it. Maybe I'll re-watch some parts that I've enjoyed but not the whole drama.

Another One in A Million Chinese Drama
The pairing of a surgeon and a soldier may not be new anymore but this drama is still a MUST WATCH and a one in a million. This is very well made, the drama did not just revolve around the two main characters but also the people around them. In a world, where toxicity and unhealthy relationships are everywhere, and where couple misunderstandings and quarrels are what stretches most in every episode this one would show you how relationships are supposed to be. It shouldn't be about how couples fight against each other but how they fight together against the odds. You can see that producing this drama has required a lot of effort and thorough thinking. The military/action scenes and medical scenes are portrayed very well and the lines are truly quotable. The main characters' attitude are not shitty, they are reasonable and nice, but the episodes are still very interesting and exciting.Was this review helpful to you?

very worth watching coming from a picky viewer
This show is a rare gem. I have tried watching modern Chinese romance dramas, and it usually leaves me irritated at the character/plot and results in me giving up the drama. However, this is one of the first Chinese dramas that I watched until the end because it is really so good although it has 40 episodes haha.The cast: All 3 couples had PERFECT chemistry with each other and had each of their charm, not overpowering the other couples. Noteworthy that Sandra Ma's acting is commendable. She is so natural and really fits her character. She had really good chemistry with Bai Jingting.
The plot: Although I am not very drawn to the scenes in the hospital/special force, the rest of the drama was very well paced with a good balance of everything. Although it had like 40 episodes, it did not feel long or dragged out which shows how well paced it was. I am usually very impatient so if the drama's plot is going nowhere I would just drop it immediately. However, this drama was humorous, sweet, heart-warming. Something that I was really glad to see was that the main characters in the show had their own individual charm that made them stand out and are really mature and (spoiler!) the main couple didn't break up even once after they got together, which is usually the case in other dramas as the "conflict". But this show focused more on how mature adults work around to keep their relationship while respecting each other. It was really a breath of fresh air especially after watching so many dramas where characters are so unreasonable and petty breaking up over the stupidest and nonsensical reasons then getting back together, which gets frustrating after a while.
I don't know when I'll find another gem like this, I hope more dramas like this get produced in china! Give it a watch it is totally worth your time

The love story of Captain Xing Kelei and Doctor Mi Ka reminds us of what it is like to be in love; the feeling of excitement, happiness, nervousness; all those things sweetly displayed. I smiled like a fool while I was watching some scenes when they started falling in love.
I really hope it doesn’t get too complicated until last episodes, and they will end up together happily ever after.
Good drama, good actors, good ost. Love Doctor Mi & Captain Xing!

Great chemistry
Great chemistry between the leads. Mi Ka as a strong-headed FL can be a bit frustrating sometimes, but it all comes from a good heart, and I admire her guts. Loved all the interactions between the main couple, and the second couple is cute too. Got a bit draggy towards the end; they could hv cut this by at least 5 episodes, and it was frustrating that the final 2 episodes had yet another crisis.Was this review helpful to you?

Most of the times when watching other rescue dramas this is my standard....right off from start to finish i was g;lued to the story and it is not boring.... acting cinematograhphy it is good to watch
The humor is simple and realistic ackwardness in the characters interaction are presented as well.
No heavy stories of villains
i like the reason of the ML why he did not reveal who he was before professing his feelings
during the medical ordeal scenario i also find it realistic.... i have undergone the same and did not tell my family until it was necessary.

One of the rarest drama that has a catchy start, and a smooth, good ending.Really pleasant to watch and LOVE that every episode don’t feel rushed AT ALL. Although I binged watch the whole series, I couldn’t bear to skip any part👌🏻.
Not only the FL & ML but the second and third lead couples were SUPER CUTE and have each their own unique chemistry that I LOVED watching in this drama.
No words can describe how good I feel about watching this drama, really a GEM. No spoilers, No anything, just go and watch it! It’s really worth🥺👍🏻
Even after finishing the drama, I went to search for their OSTs and realise, all the songs were frequently played in important parts of the drama and I felt it was so meaningful. The lyrics and melody of the OSTs suit the drama so well, I LOVE IT SO MUCH. Ugh, if you don’t watch it, you’re really missing out👌🏻😌.

Overall enjoyable to watch, charming leads
This was SO much better than "Got a crush on you", which has a very similar storyline.Some clichés, but far from as many as some other shows.
A bit predictable, but overall enjoyable to watch.
In retrospect, it is especially the FL that I remember as very sweet and charming.
And TBH: I don't really remember the soundtrack ...
