A wonderful story of life love, trust A Must See
Wow what a great drama and amazing cast it was full of excitement. The chemistry between the ML-FL was full of excitement during there journey and it was also good for both of the 2nd Co-leads. They first meet when Mi Ka is held hostage in a jewelry heist with a bomb in her hand. Then the brave and cute swat leader Xing KeLie comes to her rescue and talks her out of the store to rescue. She only see his eyes and never gets his name.. She sends him a thank you note with a Keychain teddy Bear cop which he keeps in his draw. Now 2 years later while working in the hosp as a intern in the dept of Neurology as a neurosurgeon and she and her friend are being sent with a group from the hosp to do a military boot camp. Once there she gets in trouble with Lt. Shu in tern he tells Cpt. Xing who once he Meets her remembers the past immediately, but trying to be nice when she brakes the rule 2x and is about to be kicked out she gets the ok to stay, but will not pass the test for high jumping. That night they go out for a drive and come upon an accident and the truck drivers is stuck and the cab hangs off a cliff, but she needs to help him asap. So capt. Xing secures the truck and as she climb over to the cab she slips and falls of course he catches her. Finally she gets into the cab and saves the patient and she uses her shirt to cover his head inj. The next day she goes back to the hospital and the roomer is she didn't pass and she doesn't care she was there to learn and she did. A few day's later he gives her a bag and inside is t-shirt and her certificate of passing due to saving the guy. Now this is the start of there adventures as there is an earthquake and she volunteered to go with hosp. and he goes with Swat team. Her best friend is a reporter Qing Xie and she has a crush on Lt. Shu and she even. Pursues him there, but he also gets to see the generous side of her then we also have Fu yang who has a crush on her there also delivering supplies. Then we have Dr. Shao and Xing ke(cpt sister) who have a past and won't admit they Still care for each other. During this time there are men stuck in the Mines and so he goes in and they all work together to get them out, but one needs a Dr. Asap so of course Dr. MI goes in and help the pt. as they leave she forgets something he follows and another quake hit and they are stuck so while looking to get out they found emergency kit with water food oxygen.. As they. Look all exits are covered and then boom another quake hit and he stuck. and they oxygen running out and they both pass out. Yeah rescue show up and they are save,. They help and meet wonderful people during this time, then everyone is sent home except for Swat who willl help with the cleaning and safety.. This is to give you an idea of the crazy adventures a Doctor and Swat Captain goes thru saving each other lives and those unknown. The relationship between dr. Shao and xing ke will they finally get together? What about Qing Xie and Lt. Shu and Lufang who makes 3?The story continues to tells how others preseive them and when yanshan jeousley kicks in and destroy her own career or when others players(shen sister) start rumors that cause problems. This is full of so much more. A Must Watch

THE BEST DRAMA OF 2021
If you want to melt your heart and be smiling like a daymn fool, then ✨WATCH✨ this. MA GAHD - Like I NEVER write reviews and this drama aried months ago, but it is so worth watching!I feel like I have been watching dramas since ma mom shoved my outta da womb, and it has been a ✧LONG✧ time since I've been soooo AdIcTeD to a drama! man oh man. The whole cast was perfect! the couples ♡♡♡EVERYTHING♡♡♡!
The acting was OFF THE CHARTS im telling you. At least for the 3 COUPLES!! It seems sooo natural where It came to a point where I felt like some of the scenes weren't even acting and the director just said "Be yourselves...aaand action!":') xD
The main couple are like two cute gOoFBalls who are made from heaven. Can't stop smiling! They have ✨Amazing✨ chemistry, and they look SO good together! Haven't watched any shows b4 with Bai Jing Ting, Sandra Ma, or Wayne Wang but they are def some of my fave actors rn! totally in love!
The only thing I didn't like was that pestering meatball XU YaNsHan whom I just wanted to smash some cabbage in her face and up her nostrils. grrr!
But im telling you, all those 10/10 ★★★★★★★★★★ are no joke. This show is amazing!

Such an Underrated and Masterpiece!
I was captivated right after watching early minutes of the first episodes. I really love how the writer told the life of a SWAT captain and a neuro doctor. We would see how those occupation look like and what things revolved around them. All aspects are not overly dramatic and seem balanced (IMO).The relationship between each characters are so great and natural that you will not get bored of watching. Basically, there is no annoying characters here. All couples have amazing chemistry especially XKL and Mi Ka. I think they deserve the best couple in any drama I ve been watching (IMO). Haha so cute and adorable!
Usually I doubt that the story would get interesting as main leads have become official couple. Mostly story will get bored and repetitive and draggy. HOWEVER, this drama has kinda different story plots that is enjoyable and it makes me watching people living their life as doctor and SWAT agent. It also focused on the importance of good communication and understanding for those whose couple has such occupation / job role. Such a good instance of Healthy relationship.
Regarding the OSTs, I love all the OSTs here. I sometimes like 1-2 songs in drama OST , yet not for this one. All are in my current playlist. It reminds me of particular scene in the drama as the song suit well with situation / scene.
I rarely rewatch any drama. But I put an exception for this one. :)
No wonder that many viewers demand S2 only to see the characters living their life xDD

ITS WATCH FOR SURE DRAMA
If you are hesitating to watch this drama, let me tell you its totally a perfect drama. The chemistry between the male and the female lead is simply awesome!! This drama has three couples. All their stories will also be interesting. Even though many problems arise between the main leads, they don't breakup, that is something i love in this drama. It also shows the importance doctors and the police officers. Anyway this is the drama which keeps you busy till the last episode. This is not the remake of decedents of the sun. Maybe the main lad professions are the same but the story is totally different. Everyone in this drama did a great job! Go watch it NOW!!!Was this review helpful to you?

Plot Summary:

Medical and criminal shenanigans ensue.

Gripes:
I might be the minority in this one, but I didn’t really feel the chemistry between the main leads. I’d buy them as friends, but not so much as lovers. There were a few too many flashbacks. And the second couples ML needed to be killed off early in the show. I’ve never seen a more frustrating character (That statement is hyperbole). It might not be the drama’s fault. I came looking for something similar to “Fireworks of My Heart” and this wasn’t it.

Would I watch it again?
Not by myself. There’s better dramas in my opinion that would scratch the itch.
Would I watch it with my brother?
Nah, he’d get bored.
Would I watch it with my kid?
I might watch it with my kid, but I don’t know if she’d make it through 40 episodes.
Final Thoughts:
The drama was ok. The chemistry between the leads could have been better, the romance didn’t romance enough and the drama elsewhere didn’t feel intense enough. But it wasn’t a stressful watch and it had a happy ending. I’m not angry I watched it.

Love this series!
Love the acting, the cinematography, the script and music, everything. The ONLY thing that would have made it better would have been to have another episode to wrap a few things up, like confirming if the 2nd couple is having a baby, seeing the main couple get married or at least having him say "I love you", just little things like that to make it feel a little more complete. Otherwise, it is an amazing series and well worth the watch and rewatch. I often find myself going back to watch episodes again, or my favorite parts if I don't have time for a full episode. I esp loved the chemistry of the male and female leads and the fact that it only minimally introduced the crazy lunatic woman wanting the main male lead, but love that they didn't drag it out or turn him into a weak character just to do so. Anyway, thank you to everyone who was a part of making this series and to those who gave us the english subs so we could enjoy it too!Was this review helpful to you?
What a sweet surprise!
I am so glad I didn't miss out on this treat of a story and the acting was absolutely spot on! I haven't seen Sandra Ma in anything other than Oh My General where I absolutely fell in love with her character and acting skill. Seeing her a second time in such a different role has convinced me that she's extremely capable, natural and relatable. It was a great pleasure to experience Bai Jing Ting for the first time. Boy did he knock it out of the park in this series. The two of them together were simply divine to watch and truly I've not witnessed such a loving, healthy, genuine, honest relationship unfold where the decisions they made were intelligent and supportive of one another. What a breath of fresh air THAT was! The second couple were also a wonderful ride, albeit a little torturous at times but worth every minute of the suffering. There were so many, many adorable moments and it never got too heavy or over the top dramatic. For me it was just right!I'm not going to knit pick about technical stuff because overall it was so good I didn't care if some of the actual factual scenarios weren't 100% true to life. The entire journey along with these fine folks as they figured out how to love one another more than made up for any implausibilities. The story was well paced and not overly cluttered. There was always enough going on without it becoming chaotic. The music fit well with the mood and tone of the series and some of the lyrics were very touching. I was very fond of the uniforms ;) My those fellows(and lady) were handsome!
I was left with a perma-smile after I finished the series and the sensation of having eaten a very, very well made piece of cake that was utterly and completely satisfying in every way. Not too sweet, not too rich, not too much of anything...just perfection and bliss. What an unexpected and delightful morsel!!
If you need something to renew your faith in innocent but intelligent love I would highly recommend this series. It does not make you suffer the loads of epic stupidity I find in so many of the story lines(modern and costume alike) and it lets you feel a dose of how beautiful two courageous hearts can be.

After rewatch
I just finished rewatching the series, story is amazing there was a few similarities to the Korean Descendants of the Sun but it was just few parts. In my opinion this story is the masterpiece I would make the slight changes here and there yet thats only due my personal likings and opinion. Male main lead is the ultimate perfection He deserves more main roles. I like how the story flows and the "Wood" character is actually very well portrayed. I like how in the story some bloopers were used and after watching the behind the scenes how many scenes was improvised by the actors. It shows how life is not always perfect and makes the viewer relate to the story more and closer to the characters. Perfect my first raiting was 9 due some changes I would made yet after rewatch I give this drama 10 . The story was well made , actors portrayed the characters very well and drama was closer to the life , there was some hard times , but there was some comedy as well. I highly recommend this. This is my first cdrama and I must say that this drama is superb. I might start to dig in more of cdrama because of You Are My Hero. I become an instant fan of Bai Jing Ting. He is handsome and a very good actor. And so is Sandra Ma.I love how they portray their roles. They are cute and so lovable. Their chemistry is also superb. I tried to watch some bts. Although I cannot understand anything as there is no subtitle, I cant help but smile watching them.
The story is very heartwarming. No stressful villains but only about life, love and career. You will also learn a lot from this drama.
The music are also great. Perfect for each situation and helps add emotions to the scene.
I love everything about this drama and I am rewatching it now, as in the whole series. Because I wanna smile and feel some love. If you feel the same, just watch this drama. A feel -good drama. ♥️♥️♥️

Great Heartwarming Drama
I'm pretty sure this drama gives everyone Descendants of the Sun vibes but to be honest I enjoyed this drama more.The storyline was pretty well paced and Iliked how the story progressed.
My favorite thing about the series was that the viewers got glimpses of Kelei's life as a SWAT officer and MiKa's life as a doctor. We also got to see them in a Earthquake relief situation which I enjoyed watching. It was quite informative and fun to watch their personal lives. In my opinion, this aspect was quite different compared to other Chinese modern dramas. I can tell the writers put in a lot of effort into the storyline.
I also enjoyed all the relationships between all the couples. They were super cute and adorable especially Kelei and MiKa!! Honestly, I thought the drama between Wenbo and Qingxia dragged on a bit but they quickly got together and were really adorable- especially Wenbo, its so funny how dense he is lol.
Kelei's sickness kind of came as a surprise for me but it got solved pretty quickly; I really thought they might go the memory-loss route but they didn't so I was wondering what they were planning for the rest of the series. I can say though that they did a great job especially with the ending and it went full circle- which was kind of predictable but good for our hearts lol.
Moving on to the actors; they all did so good in their roles. Bai Jing Ting has such a baby face so I know it might be hard for viewers to see him in a tough guy role but he actually did a phenomenal job !! We got to see him as the hardcore SWAT Captain and the cutie boyfriend.
Honestly i'm not a big fan of Ma Si Chun but she's a good actor for sure.
Overall this drama was a sweet, romantic slice of life series that had no drama (which some might say it can be boring but in my eyes I loved the healthy relationships across the series).

Not your typical chinese drama! Is amazing!
This drama has to be one of my all time favorites hands down. It had me hooked from Ep 1 all the way through until the last Ep. I did not ever lose interest. Bai Jing Ting is beautiful. I have seen almost all the dramas he has been in. Sandra Ma is also one of my favorite actresses. I loved he in Love me if you dare. Both are great actors.The chemistry between the female and male lead is evident. They did a good job portraying their characters. The second male and female leads were also very accurate with portraying their characters. My favorite character had to be the sister. She is so cool and bad ass. I loved the hospital scene. (I wont spoil it for those who have watched it yet) and I love her chemistry with her lover.
It is indeed a very light-hearted and warm drama. The storyline was amazingly written and was not overly dramatized or over written. There was also no fillers. The writer did their research. They were able to tell the story of the male and female leads as well as the other characters without dragging it out. It is not your typical chinese drama in my opinion. You get to understand each character, their struggles and triumphs. I felt all the emotions each character felt and always cheered them on. This is a drama I would definitely watch again and recommend people to watch. Their is a lot to say about this drama, but I will leave it at that. WATCH IT IF YOU CAN!

I Love The Relationship
I like the story of this drama about love, friendship and professionalism.The chemistry of the cast is so perfect. Bai Jing Ting as Xing Ke Lei and Sandra Ma as Mika did a very good job, The chemistry between ZhangYao and Bai Jing Ting as siblings is so natural and potrait how the real siblings is. Sometimes they fight, tease but always have each other back.
I love to see how is the relationship between Xing Ke Lei and Mika grow. It's make you smile when you see Xing Ke Lei who clueless about relationship try to ekspress his love and how they trust each other.
I so recommend this drama it's totally worth it !!
