A new dubbing film company founded by 3 university graduates faces challenges from a fresh newcomer.
Plot/storyGu Chenyu, Xie Fei and Yan Ran are university graduates who founded a voice dubbing company to serve the drama film industry. Gu concentrated on content, Xie Fei on marketing and Yan Ran on Human Resources. Yan Ran hired Xiao Ning, a fresh new comer, who has ambitions to become voice actress, but has no education and experience. She was hired initially as an assistant to Gu. As time goes by, Xiaoning faced the many daily issues on her work, including friendship, training, bullying and love. Her presence stirred the hearts of both Gu and Xie Fei, while created issues with Yan Ran as she was hiring new candidates for voice actors for the Lethe chinese mythology novel, starring Prince Mo Bu yu and Lin Mohan mythical characters.
The first few episodes appears to be relatively "flat" and " dry" ; however, the story is getting more interesting in the subsequent episodes. There were a little bit rivalries between Gu and Xie Fei. The last two episodes were just covering the final moments of the drama.
Casts and Characters
Casts
The two main men characters were played by Zhao Zhi Wei (as Gu Chenyu) and Li Xiang Zhe (as Xie Fei). They were both young, handsome, tall, and built like swimmers. The third character was Yan Ran, played by Ding Xiao Ying, a very pretty actress, graceful, and has a natural shapes and beauty. The newcomer was played by Amy Sun (as Xia Xiao Ning). She is petite, has short hair, a little childish but funny and charming. She would be more suitable wearing casual dresses, but a little awkward in elaborate or class gowns and dresses.
Characters
Gu's character is quiet, thoughtful, determined and cool; while Xie Fei's character is the opposite - outgoing, chauvinistic, and a womanizer. Yan Ran's character is reserved, shown some strengths and focus on her work. When Xiao Ning fell in love with Gu, Yan Ran did not show too excessively jealous, as it could be that she does not really in love with Gu, but more concern and dedicated to the company that they built together over the years.
The amount of make-ups applied to the characters of the drama appears to be limited, reflecting typical activities in the office working environment. However, an angry Yan Ran can be seen in one of the episodes where she wore a red lipstick, and a pretty white dress. She looks so beautiful.
The male characters (Gu and Xie Fei) both wore nice suits and clothes - looking very sharp; while Xiao Ning and her room mate - Yao Yao typically wore casual, but trendy dresses.
Music
Except for the theme song, there are not much dramatic music attached to this drama. Occasionally, we can hear some of the catchy love and memorable tunes, but no more than that.
Rewatch Value
Nothing special on the episodes to rewatch, except to rewatch to get more understanding of the story.
Scenery/ Filmography
There are no out of the ordinary scenes in this drama. There are some nice shots at the amusement parks, some photo shots taken for the company's promotions, as well as some wedding shots. The mansion where the Family Gu lives was quite huge, and has nice garden with gazebos. Office and studio settings are typically modern looking.
The film shot of Xiao Ning and Gu in the mythical wedding ceremony were an exceptional. This is the only time that Xiao Ning wore very strong make- up with red lipstick.
Personal Comments
- In one episodes, Xie Fei's attempts to attract Yao Yao were too repetitious and awkward.
- it is good to know that the motherly affections of Xiao's and Gu's moms were not too excessive or becoming too pushy.
- I do not like Luoli's character very much, as she appears to be too over-bearing.
- I think Actress Ding Xiao Ying (as Yan Ran) is beautiful and graceful. She appears plain, with no make-ups, but was dramatic when she was in her parents' cemetery or when she has the red lipstick and white dress. I like her appearance in the green polka dot dress with her light green shoes. She is always cute and pretty in all dresses she wears.
- I like the blue dress that Xiao Ning wore, but does not seem to fit in her tiny figure, as she appears too short. She is good with casual, fashionable and trendy clothes.

Great rom-com to pass time
This drama has a very typical office romance story but it explores a very different field of work than normal c-dramas. The infamous dubbing industry was portrayed very well. Very cute acting from all the actors and the cast have done a great job in this drama. The story flows very well and although it felt like the story could have ended a long time ago it still continued into somethng new and exciting. I really loved how all the scenes were pieced together. The music is also pretty good. The OST is very sweet and quite lovely. I wouldn't though rewatch this drama but it would be a great one-time thing. A very sweet love story indeed and a relatively short drama too. Overall, Cute love story that's worth watching once. 🎙️👩🏻🗣️💗💓🎙️🧑🏻🗣️Was this review helpful to you?

Too Much Sweet Is Bad for Your Health
I am getting too old, too cynical for this sugary confection of a drama. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind fluff, sweet, no-brainer romance, but this drama although with all the right tropes and cliches (rich older CEO ML, bright and cheery younger FL, love triangle, unrequited love, etc.), it just fails in the genuine feel department. Something is off, and I can blame it on the lack of chemistry between the ML and FL, how the FL is written and portrayed, etc. The FL, who happens to be on the average side in terms of looks and intelligence, is selected by the 2nd FL to be the ML’s assistant because she’s average. The 2nd FL, having carried a torch for the ML since college in her unrequited love, does not want any pretty females near the ML. Through some forced meetings, coincidences, and tarot card readings, the audience is made to believe that two good-looking, successful, rich company co-owners are suddenly infatuated with the FL all within the first three episodes. This is just not enough time for me, as a viewer, to really believe in the genuine feelings of these three. If I have to nitpick about wardrobe, I am questioning why the styling department opts to send the FL into a professional office environment wearing sneakers, t-shirts (tying a neckerchief does not make printed t-shirts dressy or professiona), jeans, and rompers, especially when she’s the assistant to the CEO. First day, ok, I am fine with her clothes since she interviewed for a voice acting gig and not an office job, but after that and still in t-shirts and jeans? No way. The FL’s naïveté and gullibility just make me pull out my hair in frustration. I am surprised she’s grown to be at this age without the help of the ML. This may be a trope that allows the ML and FL to have some form of physical contact, but I guffawed at how easily they sprain an ankle with a simple fall (heck, I slipped on ice, landed on my butt, and still able to walk and attend class) or catch a cold/flu while standing in the rain for maybe five seconds. If you’re going to have a boring, predictable plot for a drama, at least make the main leads’ relationship believable, genuine, and maybe a dose of sizzling hot.Was this review helpful to you?
Annoying FL and disappointing execution of drama cliche
Viewers can only tolerate childish acts and squeaky voice to some degrees. The portrayal of the actress in the character added to the reason for dropping this. I really had to fast forward the scene where she just got out of the factory warehouse and it's raining hard. It was too cringey for me to watch. Moreover, the drama used cliche plots. Other cdramas succeeded in using cliches (i.e. falling into your smile, a love so beautiful, unforgettable love, etc.) but this one didn't. Also, you don't kiss people when they are drunk and has no capacity to properly give consent. Come on, it's 2021.

don't waste your time on it
i actually had dropped it since the day i started watching it. when i read its synopsys, i was kinda interested back then. turned out it was one of the worst cdramas i've ever witnessed. let alone the FL, how come she couldn't realize her idol's voice?!! MOREOVER HIS VOICE DIDN'T CHANGE AT ALL either when he was being a voice actor or in daily life.i admit that it was a light cliché drama but it's just tooo plain. besides i hate her character in which she was crotchety, dumb, naive, acts innocent, etc. sighhh

It is WAY too cliche
To be honest, I have watched many dramas and this kind of sucks. This is just my opinion but though the acting was not bad but first there is nothing interesting bout the plot so far and its quite annoying seeing the intense triangle and not going to lie its just ANOTHER one of those annoying dramas that is the same shit nothing special AT ALL . I did not enjoy the drama at all as although there was some scenes that makes u laugh but it just gets more and MORE cliche and boring to the point where u are NOT even going to want to continue the drama at all. So just before u watch it, here are some things to take note of1. Another typical boss employee drama exceptionally with nothing special just that the FL can be abit funny
2. If u have watched multiple dramas u can probably guess whats going to happen next sometimes
3. If u cannot stand having two cool male leads and are indecisive of which DO NOT WATCH cuz you are going to have a hard time with those love triangles
4. one of the only things that may make u continue watching it is the ML as his visuals are not bad and u prob seen him in many other boss employee dramas
OVERALL, im going to continue watching the drama and see if the other episodes might get better
