Love between Fairy and Devil

ccording to legend, in order to obtain terrible power, Dongfang Qing Cang of the Moon Tribe became an emotionless monster. He killed his father, seized the position of Moon Supreme and led an army of 100,000 Moon Tribe soldiers on a path of devastation. Shuiyuntian (the immortal fairy realm), Cangyan Sea (the Moon Tribe), and Yunmeng Lake (the mortal world) were in grave danger.

To save the world and stop Dongfang Qing Cang and his army, the first God of War of Shuiyuntian destroyed her primordial spirit. Dongfang Qing Cang’s army and primordial spirit were sealed and his body was locked away in Haotian Tower under the immortal bonds of the Haotian Matrix. However, if his primordial spirit was restored and Dongfang Qing Cang were to break free from his tower, the world would be in danger once more. Legend says that only the Goddess of Xishan can prevent this catastrophe, but she vanished without a trace.

30,000 years after the first God of War’s sacrifice, there was a disturbance in the Haotian Matrix. While attempting to help the new God of War reinforce the Matrix, Orchid, a weak and low-ranking flower fairy, accidentally finds herself inside Haotian Tower and face-to-face with the Moon Supreme himself. Their encounter sets off a chain of events that threatens to change the fate of the world once again.

Similar to what I was saying about Kill Me Love Me, Fated Hearts is a more competently done version of LBFAD. Feng Suige had a similar upbringing to Dongfang Qingcang where he was abused heavily by his father to become the perfect ruler of their kingdom. Feng Suige is ruthless and lethal when it comes to the battlefield and protecting Susha, but he's never let go of his soft side when it comes to the people he cares about. Also Fated Hearts has the most glorious enemies to lovers romance I've ever seen.

Also like what I was saying about KMLM, if you liked LBFAD, I think chances are high that you will like Fated Hearts, but I do not think the reverse will be true.

- Love between fairy and devil, spiritual link is emotions
- The Ancient Bracelet is quieter, slower emotional bonding, more subtle affection
- Love Between Fairy and Devil has more obvious romantic tension and conflict

Both are slow-burn, emotional romances with intense chemistry, heart-fluttering moments, and characters who grow and heal through love.

Both MLs have had their emotions or senses removed and the FL is the only one able to restore or give them emotions or senses again.

Both are fantasy romances featuring a powerful ML and a relatively weak but clever FL. There are a variety of characters who want to kill the ML and are willing to use the FL to do it. Both FLs are a bit lonely and start off with a false impression of the ML. Both dramas have comedy and tragedy. The MLs are a bit vain and have younger brothers who start out wanting to kill them. The supporting casts are fun and interesting, and the leads also have to take time to save them as well.

While the ML in Love Between Fairy and Devil starts out as a villain, the ML in Tale of the Nine-Tailed is heroic. LBFAD has a broader scope to its plot and takes place mostly in a fantasy world, whereas TotNT takes place mostly in the present. TotNT also has elements of horror.

Gong Sun Li, is the grand-daughter and disciple of military commander Gong Sun Yu. Jing Ke (first disciple) and Sun Li are childhood lovers and were forced to escape when Qin troops attacked. However, Sun Li’s wall-shattering beauty seizes the interest of the Qin Emperor, Ying Zheng, and she’s captured and sent to his palace. It’s then that she discovers she’s pregnant with Jing Ke’s child. Ying Zheng treats him as if he’s his own child. The tragic day arrives when Jing Ke tries to assassinate Ying Zheng.

While very different in tone and plot both have the ML and FL swapping bodies, leading to some very funny moments.
