Starting Yang Chaoyue from Dance of the Phoenix and Xiang Yun from Romance of Tiger and Rose, these two are a much anticipated pair for the new iQiyi xianxia drama.

Dramawiki synopsis:
Xiang Yun was originally a cloud, but was turned into a fairy by Yue Laodian, and started working in Yue Lao Pavilion. Chu Kong is a disciple of the Uri Xingjun constellation. He strayed into Yue Lao Pavilion and was treated as a villain. Chu Kong accidentally broke Xiang Yun's fan, so the two quarreled and accidentally messed up the red string, which led to the marriage of the three worlds. The Jade Emperor knew about the chaos, and his punishment to them was that they could not go back to heaven until after the seven lives of love, and so their story began

"Love between Fairy and Devil" together with "Alchemy of Souls" are the best dramas of the season, they are not exactly the same, they both have great OSTs, but they also share the theme of an impossible love story set in a magical world.

If you loved Moonlight Mystique, you’ll enjoy Love Between Fairy and Devil for its similar blend of romance and humor. Both feature a powerful, introverted male lead and a lively, extroverted female lead. Add in beautiful costumes and a captivating story, and you’ve got a delightful mix of fantasy and charm in both dramas.

Xianxia with amazing main CP; loveline focused storyline. Lots of lovey dovey moments, character development, and pure chemsitry.

Both includes the "devil" that is everyone's enemies but the FL is sweet and kinds towards him. Similar but yet different story line (no body swap) but if you loved Love Between Fairy and Devil definitely watch Love Better Than Immortality!!! CP COUPLES

- solving mysteries between different clans/the people around them. the power of friendship, yeah.

-and of course, the blood coughing scenes that we all love! XD
-both male leads and female leads have good chemistry.
the visuals are such an eye candy. We enjoyed the fan service ;)
-both cdramas are very entertaining. so exciting it gave me butterflies. And also I laughed, and cried a lot.

For both dramas, I love how their love for each other grows. How they try to deny and stop it at first, and then they give in and fight for their love together.


I just finished watching love between fairy and devil and you'll surely binge watch this if you have the time to.

I'm currently watching Immortal Samsara part 2 and I'm looking forward to the upcoming episodes.

Cheng Yi acting as Asura King (aside from acting as Ying Yuan and TangZhou) really is something to look forward too!

There is a love story of someone from the Heavenly realm falling for a person from the Demon realm. Both have beautiful visuals and a theme of opposites attract, unlikely romance.

Esther’s chemistry with Ryan was great but still think she was the best with Dylan! Love her cute personality and character growth in LBFAD and had so many laughs along the way.

These shows have similar vibes and depict a strong connection and love between the male lead and feamle that leaves you wanting more. Son Oh Gong (A Korean Odyssey) and Dongfang Qing Cang (Love Between Fairy and Devil) are both badass male leads who are the strongest in their respective world. They can be cold/ nonchalant in their attitudes and are both bond to the female leads which initially is the reason why they can't killl them. Slight spoiler.... Both male leads develop a weakness because of their love for the female lead, but this weakness might just turn out to be a strength, and although the female leads in those shows aren't the most powerful, they are both considered unique in their own way and would do whatever they can to protect their male lead.

Feng Miao Jun, a princess of the fallen Anxia Kingdom, crosses paths with Yun Ya, a cruel master from Wei. Despite initial distrust, their fates intertwine. Together with Master Mo Ti Zhun and Saintess Han Yue, they become close allies in their battle against the Heavenly Demons.
