A Real Gem
This drama was one of the biggest surprises I have had based on the rating, and wonder why it didn’t rate higher.The leads were charming and endearing, even the 2nd’s were great. The FL was cast perfectly, as she was able to portray the cocky, domineering and fearless CEO while also showing how insecure and fearful she was when it came to being able to live and be loved in return. The ML was brilliant. He was a calm, cool and collected doctor who was compassionate and truly cared about his patients and his career, while also showing his faithful affection to the childhood friend who proposed with a game coin and his desire to find her again (he did!). And let’s face it, he’s got a very handsome face - and his abs aren’t bad either 😉
For once, a drama that had a best friend of the FL that didn’t have a brain made of cotton candy, was inflicted with childhood trauma and was overly promiscuous and bitter! This girl was brave, smart, articulate and creative…and she didn’t have a voice that sounded like fingernails running over a chalkboard. I loved her character.
The plot was well developed and almost every character developed and grew personally, which kept your attention throughout.
Tge one big surprise was the FL’s assistant. His whole storyline was so well hidden that it truly caught you by surprise.
The in-laws on both sides were also very normal, with the exception initially of the FL. Her father was always angry and cranky, while her stepmother was whiney, calculating, and very vocally hysterical initially. None of them from either side intruded on their private space, and there were absolutely no mil visits where every square inch of their home was rummaged through and then hostile confrontations taking place over “hidden” secrets.
And finally the little boy the leads had was absolutely adorable and a fabulous actor at his young age. He was very convincing of the leads being his real parents, and was very interactive with them physically with hugs, hand holding and climbing in them like young children do. Very convincing.
Personally, I had a hard time initially with the 2nd ml because I despised his character from another drama (Legally Love) and it took me a long time to get past that 😂
I liked the music a lot. Tgere was one song that had me crying when the big split took place because it was so fitting with the scene. It really tugged at an empathetic heart.
I highly recommend this drama if you haven’t seen it yet. It is relatively angst free, broken up by comedic interaction, and filled with romantic gestures and affection.
Give it a watch. You won’t regret it!

great drama, loved the acting, actors, and personalities!
before i start with the review, i'm just gonna say that i mainly watched this drama because of gong jun lolstory: this drama had a very.. different romance story. usually it's dating and then marriage, but this drama is marriage and then dating. it might not make sense at first, but once you watch the drama, you'll understand! i usually hate hate hate straight romance dramas because i think they're always so cringey (i much prefer wuxia bl dramas), but this one was different. it wasn't cringey at all (although there were some areas where i just felt weird watching it). this drama isn't like high school romance, it's more like people in their 30s. the side romance stories are also so cute!
acting/cast: as i said, i watched this drama mainly because of gong jun, i think he's really good at acting and uh hes attractive lolol.. i didn't know the female lead actor at first, but i really liked how she portrayed the character lu wan ning.
music: i'm not a fan of romantic little songs, so i'm not one to ask abt the ost of this drama haha
rewatch value: eh i wouldn't rewatch it, just because it wasn't THAT good. it was a decent drama but not worth rewatching.

A Feel-Good Romance with Real Emotional Beats

The supporting cast adds heart and humor, and the second half brings everything together beautifully.
If you're in the mood for something romantic with just the right touch of comedy, this drama is a great choice.

It’s not a typical Ron-com story that includes boring and re used scene like- accidental kiss, timid female lead, arrogant male lead, disapproval of parents but a sweet contract marriage of a doctor with a strong female CEO!But what if they are forced to breakup -not by their parents but their own love toward each other?And for extra sweetness there is two more couples and be sure that Caí Siyu and Uncle Simon will melt your heart right away! Cute, fluff, rofls, pain, pain, so much pain T_T
I'm always a fan of a rom com with some good angst in it and this really did the job for me. Gong Jun's character especially, he suffered so much and is such a beautiful human being, every time he was hurt I felt it in my soul x_x similarly can be said for the second female lead, she is such a pure soul even after how she was treated by the second male lead.This drama is a must watch, there are moments that are annoying, makes no common sense and can be frustrating in the least but there are a lot of cute, fluffy and hilarious moments that will leave you grinning ear to ear. The female lead is badass and her character development is... interesting as she learns how to love. But a lot of choices she makes is impulsive and makes little sense, she is strong in facing her work problems but always runs away from her personal problems, and as a result, she causes the male lead a lot of suffering. There is sooo much angst in some parts of this drama, all I can say is paaaain but it is so worth watching T^T

Their child save this whole drama
This drama really interested me when i first watched because it’s a kinda ceo man and weak girl switch role. Because the CEO girl forced a man to sign a contract married with her and ask him to sleep with her so that she could have a child in order to succeed in the company. This drama was so funny i swear because of the reverse role thingy, it gives u a totally different vibe of the drama and really want you to kept on watching. However, i have to be honest, i dropped this drama once because after the funniness everything is kinda boring to me. But after i watched Shan He Ling, i just picked it back up(cuz gongjun ofcc duhh) and i can say that I didn’t regret to pick it back up. Because after they have a child together i really really like their child character. It bring a lot of joy to the whole story. HOWEVER, i still have to say that there are a lot of things I don’t like in this drama. For example, how they lightly treated the villain, how the female just abandon everything and left the male lead(like duhhj nth goes wrong gurll why u did this stupid sht), and what i hate the most was that how the male lead just forgive the female lead after she came back like 3secs 🥴 you know at least the female lead show apologize for what she’s done and hurt him. (I dont really wanna go thru the details) BUTTTT, all of the things I don’t like make me think that maybe me don’t have to use logic to think in this drama which is why I recommend this drama for those for don’t really care about the plot and just want a comedy romance drama to bring joy to your stressful life.Was this review helpful to you?
Nice drama
Nice story . But I didn't understand the reason of her to left him . I think there was no need to leave him ,he already told her that he was not too rich like her but he earned enough that he can afford the expenses of her and her family along with his. But she left her .I liked that kid he was so cute especially when he said his dialogue .
I liked Cai Si Yu character more than the first female lead .
All the actors acting were good .
What was good about story that it didn't have much conspiracy.

Outstanding chemistry between male and female leads and also among all actors
I have re-watched this drama multiple times. It’s magical as the storyline is not something that is extraordinary. However, it is very well casted that all the actors and actresses carry their roles so well that made me feel that I am part of them. I am moved by the male and female leads’ emotional scenes. I started to watch more of Gong and Zhou Yutong’s dramas after Begin Again as I enjoy their acting. The actor who acted as Lu Fangning’s dad is a great actor. His aura makes his acting even more fascinating . Though I have watched it so many times, when it comes to those scenes, I will still be moved. I love how the different OST goes with the mood of different scene. The director has skilfully stringed the two parts of the story that makes it more interesting.Was this review helpful to you?

Worth watching
To be frank I have thought to watch this drama a long ago and dropped too many times as I will go with other drama I think that's the biggest mistake I have done .It's really an amazing drama. First drama I have seen with domineering female lead and her character is really awesome as girl would really like to be like her .Though it's a contract marriage sequence it's not like other dramas. Each and every one of the cast have done an amazing job.Its not too draggy it went smoothly they did not speed up the ending they have equally given importance to all the characters.The second lead couples were too cute and the third lead also.At last have to mention the little kid yoyo he has an amazing future.He s just too cute and his acting was excellent.If u are planning to watch this drama then go for it it's worth watching become one of my fav dramas.Was this review helpful to you?

Feel good story, the affection of the Male lead shows to the child is very pleasing to watch. creates no plot twist that makes the story interesting to watch, no unwanted persons or characters, precise casting, all the characters, other than the main lead, get equal weightage, and equal contests according to the characters that they are portraying, the child artist is charming, so its more interesting to watch the conversations of them.Was this review helpful to you?
An Amazing Drama!
This drama was so good, I would highly recommend this drama to anyone, esp if you like romcoms set in the business world!Story: The story was pretty good, it contains quite a few cliche tropes, however, they integrated it nicely and I did not find it very cringy at all. The kind of plot in this drama is one that I love reading about on online reading websites but what I loved most (my favourite thing in the drama) is how the roles are more or less switched, rather than having a more dominant/assertive male role in the business industry, it is a female and I just love that. However, I found things a little confusing towards the end, things seemed to be really rushed, though the story was still entertaining. Some characters also seemed to make some rather spontaneous decisions that I found quite weird as I couldn't really have seen them deciding what they decided.
Cast: The cast and the acting in this was very pleasant and realistic! It was astounding! The main leads have very good chemistry, and their acting seemed very, very natural. I especially love the main female actress, Zhou Yutong, she did a superb job and I really like her voice. The only con I can think of is the second male lead's (Simon (Garvey Jin)) acting. He seemed very stiff and emotionless, no matter what occasion. Perhaps it is because of the character type he is playing. Anyways, the character expresses a lot more emotions towards the latter episodes.
Music: I enjoy all of the OSTs for Begin Again, they're all very splendidly composed.
Rewatch: I normally don't rewatch many shows, but I do think this one is worth it because it is actually SO GOOD.
In short, this is a very good drama and you should watch it.
P.S I watched as many behind the scenes videos as I could find and omg, watching it left me smiling foolishly, The mains have a good relationship both on set and off set, seriously, give this one a watch!

Feel-good! Hilarious and addicting!
The story has flaws, but oh man, this drama is addicting. The ML and FL have palpable chemistry and tension. It makes me giddy that I have to watch all their NGs and BTS. Lol!I also love Lu Fang Ning's character development, and man, Simon Gong is too cute. His character depiction is realistic, way better than his portrayal in Love Equations! Unpopular opinion, I love how the reunion scene was executed. It doesn't have to be too melodramatic and emotional, I love it. There's also a vibe of Perfect and Casual in some scenes, hahaha!
This is a feel-good drama that will make you giddy and happy. I highly recommend this drama, a must watch!
