One of my top favourite dramas
Finally had the time to a review on this drama!As a fan of the comic, I was waiting for the drama ever since I heard the news back in 2023 :D The drama was mostly similar to the comic which I really liked, and the cast did a fantastic job portraying the characters from the comic. I have not watched many medical dramas, but this is easily the best medical drama I have watched. Sadly the show had only 8 episodes which I felt was a little too short, but the story was not too rushed to fit within the 8 episodes. Please have a season 2!!!! I want to see the whole team together again!!!!

Episode 1: The First Recruit
First recruit - the runner! In a world of medical dramas filled with brilliant surgeons and diagnosticians, Anus's talent for running adds a refreshing touch of humor.
The helicopter scene is memorable, and it immediately establishes Anus as a character to watch.
Episode 2: The Doctor Who Saves Lives
The ML is the serious, dedicated, and bad-ass doctor, while Anus brings the comic relief. Together, they make a formidable team. The 2nd recruit - Gangster!
Episode 3 sparked a curious comparison to Dr. Romantic. While both dramas depict the frantic pace of emergency rooms, Trauma Code lacks a certain je ne sais quoi. The patient arrivals, while dramatic, feel less exhilarating than those in Dr. Romantic. Is it the soundtrack? The videography? It's difficult to pinpoint, but the overall effect is less impactful. This episode also introduces the second recruit, a genius anesthesiologist. The drama teases us with the question of what drew him to this particular team, leaving us wanting more. The emotional heart of the episode lies in the story of a father becoming an organ donor for his children, a poignant reminder of the difficult decisions faced in these situations. The episode also underscores a harsh reality of medicine: you can't save every patient.
Episode 4, despite its brevity, delivers a powerful emotional punch. The early reveal of a twist involving a single father, a doctor, and his daughter being resuscitated by Dr. Baek adds a layer of complexity to the characters. It reinforces the theme that even amidst tragedy, there can be moments of hope and resilience.
Episode 5 showcases satisfying character development. Dr. Han's transformation following Dr. Baek's saving of his daughter is a highlight. The simple phrase, "You did well," resonates deeply, highlighting the importance of acknowledgment and support within the medical profession.
Episode 6 shines a spotlight on No. 1/Anus BFF, the ever-present listener and confidante. This character, though seemingly minor, adds a vital human touch to the drama.
Episode 8 features an operation sequence that, while engaging, doesn't quite reach the level of realism one might expect. However, the episode's ending delivers a powerful, full-circle plot twist. The doctor who once desperately tried to save a father becomes the inspiration for that father's son to become a doctor himself. This underscores a central theme: being a doctor is a calling. The episode suggests that losing sight of this calling can lead to a focus on money and power, corrupting the true purpose of saving lives.

Dr. Kim?
This drama really reminds me " Romantic doctor teacher kim" series. The episodes are strong and kept me on the edge of my seat every time. The main doctor reminded me of Dr. Kim from.thr other doctor series. If they make a show judt for Teacher Kim, i feel like this would be it. Haven’t watched something this entertaining in a while
This was very interesting and entertaining from the first episode I got hooked and couldn’t stop watching, no boring moments a very clear and consistent storyline that makes you laugh, cry, empathize and cheer for them❤️Liked it very much and wished there were more episodes to watch.
Ji hoon has been one of my favorite actors since a very long time ago and he never disappoints.
No 1 was great😂❤️his struggle was so real and relatable about the field he is in, the actor was great.
There is no romantic plot in the story and that served it perfectly.
And of course let’s not forget the health minister she’s a natural force😂😂😂❤️❤️

Why I had to drop the story
I just started the episodes and really enjoyed the medical storyline. I always preferred Korean stories above American stories because of the 'lack' of blasphemous words. Unfortunately I had to drop the story because of the blasphemy in it which is against my norms and values. And they use God's names many times.Was this review helpful to you?
Por que somente oito episódios????
Para apaixonados por Greys Anatomy, que Chicago Med e tem um caso com Dr. House, vai sem dúvidas amar Heróis de Plantão.Aqui vamos conhecer o Dr. Baek um médico brilhante e um pouco arrogante, mais que ainda assim conquista a todos com a sua maestria e claro consegue ensinar seus pupilos.
Um ponto forte do drama e o elenco secundário com personagens bem divertidos, e vale um destaque para enfermeira “Gangster” que sem dúvidas consegue roubar a cena em alguns momentos e se mostrar uma profissional tão importante quanto um médico.
Claro que não podemos deixar de mencionar toda politicagem que o drama apresenta, mas um ponto importante e que o drama não fica cansativo ou chato, ao contrário, ele contribui para o desenvolvimento da história, o que torna tudo ainda mais espetacular. Vale ressaltar que aqui vemos uma critica a situação que a Coreia do Sul, enfrentou em 2024, um colapso na saúde pública, devido ausência de médicos, ocasionando na recusa de pacientes nos prontos socorro.
O único ponto que tenho desse drama e porque apenas oito episódios, do meu ponto de vista, poderíamos ser comtemplados com 16, 20 ou 40 episódios, pois foi sensacional acompanhar os passos do Dr. Baek dentro da sala de cirurgia.
Recomendadíssimo!!

First time nonton drama Korea yang bertemakan kedokteran gitu, gila sihhh ini best bnget, alur ceritanya mudah dan bagus bnget, rapi dan tidak boring selama nonton, ada sedihnya ada komedinya yang best smuaakting pemeran nya juga bagus smua nggk di ragukan lagi
sepertinya saya membutuhkan season 2 deh soalnya dramanya bagus bngettt seru banget tapi sayang cuma 8 episode saja

Un must
J'ai tout aimé.Le synopsis, les acteurs, le déroulé de l'histoire, le rythme.
Il n'y a pas de temps mort, les histoires se succèdent à un rythme effréné, on n'a pas le temps de s'ennuyer.
On se prend d'affection pour les personnages entourant le Docteur Baek, on déteste les autres.
Il y a de la compassion, de la jalousie, de l'héroïsme, de la méchanceté, et juste ce qu'il faut d'action.
La fin appelle une saison 2, espérons que ce soit le cas pour une série de cette qualité.
J'ai adoré et je sais que je la regarderai à nouveau.

Nesse dorama, acompanhamos um cirurgião veterano de guerra que, após retornar do campo de batalha, começa a trabalhar em um grande e renomado hospital. No entanto, ele enfrenta inúmeros desafios, pois, apesar de não ter títulos impressionantes no currículo, ele é simplesmente O CARA! Sua habilidade e dedicação à medicina e a salvar vidas falam mais alto do que qualquer diploma pendurado na parede.Uma das partes que mais gostei nesse dorama, sem dúvida, foi a maneira como ele expõe uma realidade dura: o quanto a ganância pelo dinheiro pode ser destruidora de vidas. Vemos o protagonista lutando para salvar o máximo de pacientes possível, enquanto outros estão mais preocupados em tomar chá e discutir qual setor do hospital gerou menos gastos. A série nos mostra como o dinheiro pode corromper princípios quando não é administrado de forma ética.
Outra coisa que adorei foi a equipe médica. Gente, cada personagem tem uma personalidade completamente diferente, mas juntos se complementam de uma forma incrível, entregando um trabalho impecável. O crescimento dos protagonistas ao longo da trama foi muito bem desenvolvido e satisfatório de assistir.
Se há um ponto negativo, é o fato de a série ter apenas oito episódios. No entanto, a história é bem fechadinha e, no final, a gente termina de assistir com o coração quentinho.

Non una serie indimenticabile, ma che centra in pieno il proprio obiettivo.
Bella...ma non eccezionale. Sicuramente una serie riuscita, curata e ben confezionata.Non è il primo drama medico che mette al centro un dottore dalle abilità straordinarie (Doctor Prisoner, Doctor Stranger, Doctor John, D-Day, Romantic Doctor, ecc.) e non sarà certo l'ultimo.
Due, a mio avviso, le carte vincenti:
1) aver puntato al "poco ma fatto bene", sia in termini di durata, dove gli otto episodi sono giusti per il tipo di trama che si vuole sviluppare, sia in termini di contenuti, dove di sceglie di non intrecciare altri "fili" - dal romance, al thriller, piuttosto che complesse risoluzioni di eventi passati - e si punta a offrire uno spaccato focalizzato sul rapporto mentore-tirocinante e, contemporaneamente, a ripristinare - anzi, a ricostruire da zero - un servizio medico fondamentale, che sottolinea come il ruolo dei medici sia in primis quello di salvare vite umane ma che, troppo spesso, tende invece col tempo a diventare una mera questione burocratica fatta di cifre e prospettive di carriera.
Non è un crimine non avere una trama lunga e ricca di intrecci. Il punto non è la complessità di un drama, ma la sua qualità. Meglio una serie che non punta a diventare una pietra miliare ma che è fatta bene, piuttosto di una che aspira all'eccellenza ma nel concreto poi fa acqua da tutte le parti.
2) l'attore protagonista, decisamente performante e capace di catalizzare a sè lo sguardo curioso dello spettatore per tutta la durata del drama. E' stata anche l'occasione per rivalutare Joo Ji Hoon, attore che ho recentemente conosciuto nella serie "Love your enemy" dove davvero mi aveva fatto una pessima impressione. E' incredibile come una sceneggiatura mediocre e un ruolo inadatto possano aver penalizzato un attore che in questa serie non solo dimostra di starci dentro, ma lo fa anche molto bene.
Concludo sicuramente consigliandone la visione: non sarà il drama indimenticabile e ricco di contenuti che si posizionerà in cima alla classifica dei preferiti di sempre, ma resta indubbiamente una serie accattivante e alla quale non serve destinare un significativo investimento in termini di tempo.

O único defeito é que acaba!
Para quem ama uma trama no hospital com muita cirurgia e detalhes, venham venham e estarão bem servidos!!O tanto que a gente ri e sente tensão por cada cena é incrível. Foi impossível não roer a unha nas cirurgias com medo de dar ruim!
E também é impossível não de comover com a dedicação em salvar vidas, até eu tava tomando raiva da palavra déficit...
Enfim, assistam !! O único defeito é que acaba rapidinho demais, só 8 episódios. Tomara que venham mais uma tempo 😃
Partiu fazer medicina pra ir para equipe trauma!
