AS CUTE as My School President, but with a major narrative drawback
Overall, this series about as cute as Bad Buddy and My School President, filmed around the time of this series. It has made me smile nearly the whole time I have watched it.However, there is a MAJOR DRAWBACK IN THE NARRATIVE (see below in a comment with spoilers).
Besides, a boring PSA: never engage in motorcycling (even legal) if you want to be whole and alive. However genius you think in controlling your bike the tiniest thing you *not* controlling would make you flying. This kind of transportation is incredibly dangerous and there is nothing that can save you, unlike what even a car can do with its airbags and cage.

Overall Review
I really liked the story line , directing, lighting, music, views everything was perfect...i always read yaoi and watch bl dramas but u know what all thai bls are not that good like the acting skill or the story representing way are not perfect in al dramas. So i didn't have that much hope for this series even though it's so popular.....but after watching it I'm so happy that i watched it..i wanna rematch it aging but i can't because of my exams 🙃Now we should talk about the characters and the couples....
Both couples are so cute....The chemistry between both couples was so good...Both alphas are so cool and dominate🥵...p'payu is so handsome, his hair line makes me crazy every time🤤... rain is a cuteee bunny. I'm in love with sky too..he's so pretty and handsome in the same time but now I should go to the main point..there's this man "prapai" that i can't forgot😖...I can't even focus on my study..he's eyes are always full of love for sky...always noticing if sky is feeling good or not..love seems to be dripping from his eyes...of course I appreciate that the first couple's story line is too good. You can't skip a bit of their story instead during pai and sky's time I was a bit bored at first but then the story catched the flaw again..but honestly after the episode 13 I became a fan of the character "pai"...like the way he comforts his boyfriend, the way he takes care of him, the way his eyes always say he'll be by sky's side through thick and thin made me fall for this character...prapai is the perfect dream boyfriend for everyone...Fort really portrayed this character beautifully..I'm gonna miss them so much....❤️
That's my first time writing some thing about a drama so pardon my mistakes 😐😣

They have bikes
They have bikes. And they're hot in the racing suits. I love Prapai and Sky so much, Prapai is a cutie with Sky not rushing things when he realized Sky had past traumas (I know he's only doing the bare minimum but still and a lot of people don't do it so yeah). Payu and Rain are ok I guess, I don't really remember their half of the show. Was this review helpful to you?
I definitely recommend watching it, maybe just as an advice, watch it in a smaller period of time, not like me who didn't have time so left a big break in between some episodes and then didn't know what was going on :)) Definitely planning on rewatching it.

Charming and sexy, but overall not spectacular
It's full of tropes and it's cheesy, but has some very sexy intimate scenes and both pairs some degree of chemistry. There's drama with the second pairing that surrounds around one character's trauma, but no substantial plot anywhere in the series. Overall, worth watching for the cute moments. For me, the highlights of the series were Boss (Phayu) and Fort (Pai) without a doubt. Noeul as Rain is flat and uninteresting at best and downright cringe at worst, and is completely one-dimensional when it comes to writing. Peat has a naturally cute and funny take on his role as Sky, but cannot act during any of the emotional scenes, which pretty distracting and did the somewhat aspects of his storyline absolutely no justice. There's plenty about this series to nitpick, so if you have high standards, you will definitely have complaints.
The reasons I like this series are all relatively shallow. There's some tongue in the kisses (which is notoriously rare, if you're familiar with this genre) and it is sometimes charming.
If you have a few extra hours to binge this, go in with low expectations and you probably won't have a bad time. It's cozy and comfy and cute boys kiss, just don't prepare yourself for some kind of masterpiece.

If you can get through the noncon fetish....
This series was surprisingly cute. I'd already seen BossNoeul in Boy Next World and I was curious about FortPeat so I decided to give this one a try. The series is broken up into two different stories, eps 1-7 are for BossNouel/PayuRain and eps 8-13 are for FortPeat/PrapaiSky and there's a 14th special episode which features all of them.PayuRain eps: As much I loathe the noncon fetish (I know some people like it, but it's defs not for me), once the story moved past that the relationship was actually really cute. I liked that Payu and Rain set clear boundaries early on in their relationship to help manage their love, school, and work lives. There wasn't any major conflicts in their story either which I personally liked, the plot conflict was them trying to understand each other and build a relationship. I'm not a fan of overly convoluted storylines so the straightforwardness of the story appealed to me. Another thing I liked (strangely enough for me) were the sex scenes. I will fully admit that I often skip sex scenes. Even if a couple has good chemistry, if the director would rather film the scene like its some kind of fantasy than it's not for me; I hate it when there's over the top music, when the camera bounces around to different body parts, and the scene has weird edits (I'm looking at you DMD). This thankfully was nothing like that, it was very straightforward, very realistic, normal sex. I also liked that Rain was an active participant during the scenes. Usually childish uke are treated like dolls and act very shy during intimate scenes so it was refreshing to see Rain act like a regular guy wanting to have sex.
As an aside, the background characters in this story were wilding istg. There was literally a character who randomly started licking a pen. Weirdest thing I ever saw.
PrapaiSky eps: Again, noncon fetish alert, but again very short lived (I seriously don't understand the appeal). I definitely enjoyed this couple much more than PayuRain. Sky is more mature and reserved than Rain, but still very sweet and friendly. A very cute combo imo so I immediately took a liking to this character. The main conflict in this story was Sky trying to overcome his emotional trauma and open up to Prapai. The trauma backstory was very heavy which involved verbal and physical abuse and sa. As much as I liked the characters I'm a bit back and forth on the story line. On one hand I liked that they portrayed Sky's trauma realistically ie, once he and Prapai started going steady the trauma didn't magically go away. Sky still had anxiety, still had nightmares, still had trust issues. Real trauma takes time to heal and getting a boyfriend isn't a magic solution and I'm glad that they showed that here. What I didn't like though was the way it was all dumped out. Admittedly they only had 6 episodes, there wasn't much room for the writers to ease into the topic, but I still feel like it could have been handled better than it was. Also, to be completely honest, I didn't like Peat's crying scenes. I get that crying is a very difficult skill for actors to learn so I didn't let it affect my rating, but seriously all of Peat's crying scenes were not great and he had a lot of them. Fort only had a couple crying scenes and they were way better. It didn't detract from the story though and like I said I enjoyed these characters a lot. The relationship building between Prapai and Sky was super cute.
I think my biggest critique for this series was the ending. It was very abrupt. I was actually very confused and thought that the 14th ep was to continue the storyline only to start watching it and realize that it was just a side story and completely unrelated. Not that the series ends on a cliffhanger, but it still felt not fully finished.
General info for anyone wanting to know:
• Are the stories overlapping? Yes. I would recommend watching the whole show in its entirety rather than skip to just the story you want to watch. All four characters pop in and out of each other's stories enough that I think it would be confusing if you just watched one story or watched them out of order.
• Is the series spicy/nsfw? Yes. But it's very well done imo. The scenes were a good balance between realism and censorship. We don't see any nudity from the waist down, the scenes last a normal duration, and we see the characters using condoms.
• Is there violence? Yes! Both stories have violence which involved fighting that leads to blood shed, kidnapping, physical and emotional abuse, and sa. (If you're someone easily trigged than I'd recommend giving this series a pass.)
• Is the special episode worth watching? Sure. If you liked the series than watch the special as well. It's not relevant to the main plot, it's just a side story/beach episode that's mostly for spice. We also get to see sassy Sky/Peat though which I admit had me grinning like an idiot. It was a fun watch.

WORTH OF WATCHING
Probably the most realistic BL drama i have watched, realistic view of sex and loving each other till their souls couldn't be without each other. Actors had so much chemistry on and off screen, both couples have amazing chemistry and sexual tension. I like how the sex scenes are not forced and comes naturally so does kiss scenes, i wish i could watch love in the air for the first time again! Probably will rewatch (i don't really like rewatching dramas).Boss and Noeul have so much chemistry between each other on screen and even more off screen, i hope i can see them in another drama again, i really wish them the best if they're really together, if not them i hope them long friendship because they're really good for each other.
Fort and Peat are amazing and funny duo, when i watched BTS of love in the air i almost cried of laughing, Peat is such a charming and funny person especially when he's with Fort, they're making me want to cry haha. Their chemistry is also something else, on the screen we can see Fort being so rough when it comes to sex scene with Peat but off screen Fort is really soft and helps him dress up ect.
This drama must be on your watch list!!

Plot? Never heard of her. Chemistry? We got buckets of that!
This drama's selling point is not it's plot. Literally what even is the plot? Debatable. However - when it comes to chemistry/intimacies, this show has it in spades.Things I didn't like: The plot bc where was it?? Dub/non-con scenes (not surprising for Thai drama but there was so much), completely glossing over sexual identity struggles, weird split between the two main couples which could have easily been woven together and it would have been less jarring.
Things I did like: The chemistry between all four leads is off the charts, specifically BossNoeul. Representations of kinks, safe sex, great kiss scenes, GREAT NC scenes.
Personally I actually enjoyed the last half (FortPeat) more than the first half (BossNoeul) even though I think BossNoeul have slightly better chemistry. I liked that FortPeat's half at least attempted to address sexual and relationship abuse and what that does to a person once they are trying to move on in their lives. However, even this was sloppily done and kind of all over the place.
I'd love to see all four leads in something that actually has a decent plot, because I think they all did a great job with what they had. It just wasn't a lot to work with. This is worth watching for the chemistry between the leads alone. It saved this from being completely unwatchable.

Love in the Air — Beautifully Produced, but Not Every Casting Choice Worked for Me
After reading MAME's novel before watching the adaptation, I had very high expectations for Love in the Air. Thankfully, the series gets many things right. The production quality is outstanding, the story remains faithful to the spirit of the novel, and several emotional moments are even stronger on screen than I imagined while reading. Visually, this is easily one of the best-looking BLs I've watched. Some scenes genuinely feel closer to a high-budget film than a television drama. The cinematography deserves special praise. Every frame feels carefully composed, from the racing scenes to the romantic moments and the quieter emotional conversations. The lighting, camera work, and overall visual direction constantly elevate the material, making the series feel much more expensive than most BL productions.
The story also remains one of MAME's strongest. Splitting the drama into two couples works surprisingly well because each relationship explores completely different emotions. Payu and Rain bring the lighter, more playful romance, while Prapai and Sky gradually take the story into much darker and more emotional territory. Rather than feeling disconnected, the two halves complement each other beautifully.
My biggest criticism is the casting of Rain.
Noeul Nuttarat certainly commits himself to the role, and I completely understand why many viewers enjoy his performance. Personally, however, I never found him believable as Rain. His mannerisms are so exaggerated that I struggled to accept the character's initial innocence whenever Payu openly flirts with him. From the very beginning, it felt like Noeul was performing the character instead of becoming him. Compared to the novel, where Rain comes across as naturally naïve rather than theatrical, I felt the adaptation pushed that aspect much too far.
Fortunately, Boss Chaikamon balances the relationship perfectly. His confidence, charisma, and calm presence make Payu exactly the kind of character I imagined while reading the novel. Even when I wasn't fully convinced by Rain, Boss remained consistently believable, and his chemistry with Noeul is ultimately what keeps the first half of the series entertaining.
Then comes the second couple...
For me, Peat Wasuthorn completely steals the show.
Sky is by far the most emotionally demanding character in the series, and Peat delivers a heartbreaking performance. His portrayal of trauma, fear, and vulnerability feels painfully real. Several scenes genuinely made me cry because you can almost feel the weight his character carries every single day. Unlike Rain, Sky feels almost exactly as I imagined him while reading the novel. Every emotional breakdown, every moment of hesitation, and every small step toward healing feels completely earned.
Fort Thitipong also deserves recognition for understanding that Prapai isn't simply a charming flirt. Behind his confidence is someone willing to patiently wait until the person he loves is ready to trust again. Together, Fort and Peat create the strongest relationship in the series, not because it's the most passionate, but because it's built on healing rather than seduction.
The soundtrack isn't particularly memorable, but it supports the atmosphere well enough without ever becoming distracting. More importantly, the series understands when silence is more powerful than music, especially during Sky's most emotional scenes.
Final Thought
Love in the Air is one of the most visually impressive BLs I've seen, with excellent production values and a story that successfully brings MAME's novel to life. While I never completely accepted Noeul as Rain, the performances from Boss, Fort, and especially Peat more than compensate. Peat's portrayal of Sky is one of the most emotional performances I've seen in a BL, and by itself makes this series worth watching.

i never write reviews but had to make accounts and write one coz this series is super goodi loved both stories payu/rain and prapia/sky
both couple did great job even though my favorite is phayu/rain
1st couple payu/rain - BossNoeul
there story is easy going its happy, lovey dovey. Loved the story its simple yet beautiful. doesnt go too deep but story makes sense and some part of scene made me feel so relatable. the chemistry between BossNoeul is unbeatable, I mean there romance makes my tummy tickled. and love scene were on fire🔥 sorry to kinnporsche no one can beat the love scene. lets not talk about kissing scene gosh that look so intense i doubt if these two are actual couple or else they are really good kisser. lot of bl kiss were just lip touch or its awkward kiss, but these two kiss like they gonna eat each other🤣

one part is clearly better than the other..
now i do wanna say that this is an improvement on MAME's other work DSN. but you definitely still feel a lot of similiar troupes in her writing play out so be warned.PRODUCTION:
i really liked the cinematography - i also am really glad they cut the episodes to 45 minutes unlike DSN where they were an hour. i did have an issue with the music and sound quality in general. its clear that they didnt have the money to do a lot of ADR and sometimes the noise from the envoirment they are in just cuts in and out when they speak and its really distracting. (a good example is the scene where phayu shows up in the motorcycle outfit) i also just wasnt a fan of any of the music expect for the song that phayu sings to rain...
STORY:
(PART1) i loved the progression - i liked how it was sorta simple and sweet. i know there are some issues in the beginning with phayu and rain's relationship that would not apply irl but in the end i really loved the first 7 episodes. and i have already rewatched it and i plan to do so again in the future.
(PART2) maybe its because i liked part 1 so much that i just wanted to go back to phayu and rain. there are much more problematic elements in the 2nd part that i cant really get past esp in the beginning. the stuff in episode 13 is truly awful to watch and i really wish there was some kind of content warning for that. i feel lIke MAME's flaws as a writer came out a lot more in this part. the miscommunication is not cute, the brushing over truama was not cute. very similiar problems in DSN. i do think they are a little better in some ways but definitely not when it comes to how they handled sky's mental health.
CHARACTERS / ACTING:
rain (noeul) is such a loveable dork. i do think in part 2 and in the special episode he get flanderized a bit. i think he works better as a main character than a side character more adorable than annoying. noeul's acting is hit/miss - but i think for the parts that were important he did a good job esp his scenes with phayu. i feel like he could be a little more expressive though.
phayu (boss) was my favorite - idk how MAME rights these mellow-intimidating-but-sweet characters so well. all he wants is the best for rain - he is a very mature character and leads the relationship well. yes despite his bad choice in the beginning he ends up really being so sweet. i think a lot of it is thanks to boss' brilliant acting i really want to see him in more stuff in the future.
the two of them together is what makes part 1 so brillant. the chemistry is amazing and the intimacy just feels so natural. from their first meeting on screen i felt the connection and despite the flaws i think in the end they are one of my favorite bl couples. i know there isnt any confirmation on a season 2 but i would watch it for them because them navigating their relationship is my favorite and the soecual episode was not enough.
sky (peat) i definitely was shocked when he became the main character for part 2. i didnt super understand his motivations and it did take awhile for me to like sky. i feel like using his truama to make us feel bad was a bit iffy. i already liked his straight blunt attitude in part 1 but in part 2 he comes off a bit like an asshole sometimes. peat's acting is a little stiff but i feel like he got a good handle on it towards the end.
prapai (fort) is definitely my least favorite personality-wise. he is basically a leon (DSN) clone tbh. i never feel like the "playboy-turned-soft-by-certain-somone" is done interesting anymore and this is the 2nd time ive seen MAME do it and its the exact same way - there is literally no character progression - prapai cant stop thinking about sky and just suddenly is all over for him. i do wanna say fort kills it for the emotional scenes - his gentle crying broke me. and thats when i actually started to like him.
the two of them together are okay - i just feel in comparison to phayu and sky is almost unfair. maybe its because it actually takes so long for them to actually like each other but the passion just does not end up reaching the same level. but i do like their dynamic in the end and its a nice contrast in comparison to rain and phayu but i clearly like one more than the other.
OVERALL:
if these were 2 separate series i think it wouldve worked better because honestly they kinda feel super detached from each other. and the fact that phayu and rain's story fit so well together when it ends and you get to the kinda messy bits of sky and prapai i just miss them. but i wouldnt mind a season 2 if they did it the same way but preferably they should just break them into different series.
