modern lakorn with hot scenes

It's a lakorn, if you know what i mean... But it's modern and it's got some hot scenes! What else? Not much... Young cast, some better than others.
Excellent cinematography, nice camera angles, nice settings, nice details... Fashion & hairdo are a bit weird.
Plot is full of tropes, like the character with a traumatic past and those dom/sub love dynamics (power balance in the two couples is totally off! being patted on the head is something so pleasurable? I almost saw those two subs wiggling their tail...).
It's like one - or two - BL Cinderella's encounter their respective prince.
The comedic element is hardly done right.

Story of Sky and Prapai

I’m glad that they separated the stories of the 2 couples so I could only watch episode 8 to 13 as I absolutely love the story of Sky and Prapai! It begins with exciting NC scene but as I learned more about Sky and realised why he acted like that, I just couldn’t help but caring about this couple! The casting is excellent as well.

I did try to watch a few episodes of Rain and Phayu, but I just didn’t get the chemistry between them. Rain’s supposed to be good looking but again I just didn’t feel anything. How they fall in love with each other seems contrived.

Mmmm idk.

I found this show very questionable sometimes. I was left with a bad taste with how the relationships started and the way they then took a turn did not please me completely, it was a bit hard to see the characters in a better way after how they acted the firsts times they met with her later partners, but the truth is that I enjoyed the show, excluding those scenes that bordered on the non-consensual things (between the couples), but for what I've seen in Thai bls this one has not been so bad. Undoubtedly, the ending was a bit rushed, I think it was a plot that could have been deepened more and in a better way, but well...

Dont compare

I personally LOVE this series and will definitly re-watch it, the actors did AMAZING considering some of them are new to BL and i also liked the stories between PayuRain and PrapaiSky.

My problem is iv read most of these reviews and some of you compare bossnoeul and fortpeat, you should not be comparing them its not fair to fortpeat to be compared to bossnoeuls chemistry, its not their fault they arent as comfortable with eachother as bossnoeul, even though fortpeat are close they dont need to be compared to anyone (neither does bossnoeul). And of course their stories are completely different so there is absolutely no need to compare things between them the only thing the stories have in common is that payu and prapai are friends and so are rain and sky.

So please stop comparing them. ❤️

First Story or the 2nd, or both... That is the question.

Now I don't mind having two couples in one show, but they way they did 2 stories in one show, was just plan weird. I didn't like how when it got to the 2nd couple/story it shows use parts we have already seen, now I get why they showed it so we knew where it starts from, but they could have just shown us both couples staring point in one Episode, then gone from there, this way we wouldn't of had to see the same thing twice. Anyway...

First thing first, if you are looking for cute and fluffy series that will make you melt, this is not the one you want to watch. Don't get me wrong it's not like it's all bad thru-out the series or anything, it doesn't, you get to the cuteness and all, but it's not the kind that is all softhearted fluff from the get-go like the cute fluffy ones are. You get all that at the end.

First Part: Payu and Rain

I wasn't sure how I felt about them at first, Payu kinda ticked me off most of the time the way he was. In time I did get why he was meaning an ass, he liked Rain from the get-go and was just teasing him, though some things still kind of ticked me off, but in the end I thought they turned out well and Payu got way cute with Rain as they got closer to one another and became boyfriends.

Rain was and air head in ways, pretty dense in others and not so smart in others. He is a mix of all kinds, but he was cute in his own ways. I liked how he changed (because of Payu) thou-out the series, by getting more responsible about his schoolwork, thinking about how he really feels about Payu then getting more confident in his relationship and needs, I like in the end how he could play Payu in his hands, though knew how to play in Payu hands when needed. I also like how Payu showed Rain his kink (Sub) side, and thou all this and more, Payu is patient with him. He is a good Dom for his little Sub.

Second Part: Prapai (Pai) and Sky

This one is darker(?) in a way then the first story. Well, it deals with the dark side of what can happen with the wrong person. (Sky's past).

I didn't really like how Pai was at all in the beginning. First he pretty much blackmails (even though he had nothing) Sky to sleep with him and from that he got addicted (pretty much) to Sky and wanted more, not caring Sky didn't. Pai just because more of an asshole. All he wanted was another round of fun, so he won't leave Sky alone. Poor baby had a hell of a time because of Pai. Sky fought him so hard even though he is starting wanting what Pai was giving, just was to scared to really go for it, I felt so bad for Sky, I cried with him even for him.

I do have to say that as the story took hold, Pai became better. He saw Sky as more than just something for a jump time and when he started liking Sky, he tried even harder to get Sky to open up. He really tried, even though Sky did not make it easy. Pai didn't give up, which I am thankful for, shows he did really care for Sky. I thought it was sweet him taking care of Sky when Sky was sick, even though a few times he almost lost control, in the end he didn't.

I love how both Payu and Pai ran to their loves in their times of need, Pai making it in time and Payu for doing what he did. I do have to say I would have loved to see Pai beat Gun a whole hell of a lot more, but I get why Payu stopped him, can't take care of your love if you are locked up, Right?

Furthermore, I do wish we got to know what really happened to then, saying Chani (?, I believe that is his name) took care of it, ok that's nice but how? What did you actually do to them? I can think what I want, but don't mean I'm right....

Peat (Sky) did a great job with his character in this series. Not to say the others were bad, they all did a good job, there were some not so good, but nothing to complain about, I just think Peat did I excellent job in his roll.

Oh, before I go, I have to comment on the sex scenes. Wow! This is one that showed the whole scene, and boy did they get into it at times. *fans self* Most of the time you see a bit, but then they turn away or something so you don't see it all. HOT! Yes I am a Perv, so what, :-p LOL

Poor First Couple Compatibility vs. The Perfect Chemistry of the Second Couple

A typical Tay BL drama with bad voices again. Someone told a scene on TikTok, I started watching it to see that scene.
Rain is a very sweet and lovable friend on his own, but the harmony between him and Payu was insufficient. Acting can be called good, but there is a problem with the characters written. My least favourite thing in a series is to ask the question "what did this person fall in love with?".

But our second couple was very good. It starts from the last scene of episode 7 and it just flows. Sky is my baby, I like her a lot. Even though the slight changes in her character towards the last episodes bothered me, it doesn't matter. There are no words to say about Pai's persistence and love, the whole story is about his effort not to let go of love. I may have watched episodes 8-13 a few times. 🤫 the chemistry of our couple was very good (a new independent series of this duo will also be released, I am waiting with love)
I don't know if it will be like a fan girl, but it's as if they have characters like the roles they play in real life. Regardless of the subject, it seems like every film with actors playing roles similar to their real characters is heard.

"do u really like it? or is there just men kissing " game,,, go!

ok first, casting.

casting - are they hot? yes. can they act well? uhm no

when this first came out everyone was riding it so hard. i watched it and every moment of it was a struggle. there acting seems corny and animated, when watching i wanted to scrape my eyes out with toothpicks.

ok, rain and his geezer (forgot his name).
rain is like a 12yr old spoilt baby who does not know the diffrence between what an apple and a mango is yet. who the hell writes a character so unbearable like him. hes whiny and annoying. his sexuality takes a whole 360, without him looking back? no thinking? ok bro u do u. but to me, that is abit.... unrealistic.

moving on to his boyfie, so payu ( googled his name) is hot as balls man. well boss is hot. payu is an odd goof ball to say the least. He's defo in them " Daddy dom, little kitten" GC on discord, and also an avid Reddit user. anyway, boss is hot until that GOD AWFUL SCENE. where hes fighting rains kidnappers. oh em gee, he looked dumb as hell... but no where near as dumb as rain did.

ok, sky - unpopular opinion but out of all the cast, hes my fav, go slay independent pussy popping queen.,, oh wait yeah i forgot pai happend. anywayssss, yeah hes alright to be honest, until hes going Awoll because of some shite with his bf (forgot why he went Awoll icl ) that one scene in his bedroom where hes like " i dont love u pai " then pai being like " u fat liar, ive seen ur notes" then sky being like "ok yh i love u pai" like GIRL STAND UP. anyways. was not a beyonce moment but well move past it.

ok pai - id be lying if i said i didnt prefer pai and sky on the screen then the other two. pai himself is lowkey cringe ( dw not like rain, hes highkey cringe) hes decent, and hot loooooollllll. but Abit persistent with sky, like r u sure sky hasn't got Stockholm syndrome, because if a guy tried to move to me that mad, id leave country in pure fear.

ok now story

girl lets be real, plot who, because i think she packed her bags and ran off.
lets all admit the scene where rain was kidnapped and had a rope in his mouth, flossing all them teeth and them cheeks was AWFUL and served what purpose apart from the comedic side? like that whole scene was diabolical. and after that scene rain and payu leave hand in hand? like these guys must be trauma resistant bc ik if i got kidnapped n my hot boyfie got beat up in front of me i wouldn't be so okay, like? i couldn't just skip out of there while singing and humming with the birds.
anyway. but this show has so many unnecessary scenes. like rain and payu legit engulfing each other on rains bed in rains gaff JUST after meeting rains mum was abit wild.
the second sex scene between pai and sky, lets go. lets talk about it class
ok so sky is getting freeky deeky in the sheets, after there one night stand, where hes like, hm i like pai now. ( still think sky was a VICTIM) anyway, sky bby why did this man JUMP ON pai with NO SHIRT ON. girlie no, its not like these p0rn movies. bro didn't even slip in a " hey i like u really much and i wanna have some of that d " NO bro just pounced and was like "why is pai stopping me and asking if im ok first ??????"
this show is ALL sex and NO story. unless the d that was in there booty could talk, i heard now intresting story at all.

something we NEED to talk ab is skys background and how it did not FIT this show. so far the show was comedic and somewhat lighthearted apart from the extensive face sucking.
then BOOM skys very dark and traumatic backstory, i think the concept is good to build the character, but his story hit u in the face like a pile of bricks, like such deep meaningful back story in a very wild and not so deep and meaningful show. i think skys character all together could've done better in a different show,
the overall story is messy, with random twists and some events happen that was big but then never talked about. like honestly how can u be kidnapped and then act like it never happend again after it was over? wish i was that resilient.

music???? girl i dont remember the music n that is enough said.

to finalise it, ill say overall wouldn't watch it again, but i stand by sky being the best character out of it.

The English version is highly censored, grrr

Having read some of the reviews I now realise it was not me going mad, but there are bits that made no sense because whole sections had been edited out, including:
In the English version there was a 5 second snippet where Rain and P’Payu were dressed in national costume and gazing at each other but nothing else so no reference to what they were doing or why they were doing it.
The consent scene was completely missing (after the bath for P’Payu and Rain where all I saw was them discussing the fact that they needed to wash off the rain so they didn’t get sick, in the English version there’s no dousing with the showerhead etc - I picked up some of the missing content from someone reviewing the episode on YouTube. The next scene available to me was Rain in bed alone the next morning.
In the version I saw there was no scene with Sky and Prapai in a bubble bath and at no point was there any reference to their wedding or what led to that point - the last thing the English version contained was Prapai comforting Sky and telling him that he’d dealt with Gun but after that very little else. Again, picked up a snippet from a reviewer for the first and a special montage which included the wedding that someone had put together.
R & P’s proposal - had Rain graduated, were they working together? This was in the same montage mentioned in my previous point so was this AI or was this actually part of the plot that had been censored out?
All 4 of them goofing about on the beach scenes. I found more content from two different montages where in one R&P were playing piggy back and splashing about in the sea and another one where they were looking at each other happily while still dry in highly coloured shirts with shell necklaces on.
None of this was included in the version that I saw
If anyone can recommend how I get to see the complete story I would be most grateful

Rewatch value? 100% if it was the complete, non censored version

Love in the Air: Overall Thoughts

This show is so beautiful, from the story itself, to the images displayed across the screen. It grabs you in from the beginning and drags you along as the story progresses. Don't think of that as a bad thing; it just means that the story is that much compelling and it's hard to stop watching once your start. The actors are phenomenal, and their chemistry on screen (as well as off-screen) is unbelievable. The way their stories intertwine is something so beautiful to see and something to envy. They show what it's like to have unconditional love around them and how it helps them grow. Also, there are some times where it's difficult to watch due to some present themes, so viewer discretion may be advised. But regardless, this show is definitely one I recommend everyone who loves BL Dramas to watch.

Sound issues were distracting ?

I’m slowly working through a long list of recommended BLs and this one was near the top. There were parts that I loved (Boss is undeniably hot and a good actor) and parts I didn’t like (sometimes Rain and Sky’s but especially Rain’s behavior seemed silly and a bit of a stereotype.)

I honestly couldn’t get behind Rain & Payu’s relationship because I couldn’t see what Payu found so irresistible. 🤷🏻‍♀️ It just never made sense to me.

Then there’s the sound issues. The sound of cloth rubbing over a mic when characters moved or touched, odd mouth noises that really shouldn’t have been picked up. It’s easy to forgive if the rest of the show rises up. But that wasn’t the case here. Every shift of fabric or skin that the mic picked up took me out of the story.

I’d love to see Boss paired with someone else. It’s interesting to see how many BLs have a really good actor paired with a not great one. It’s just baffling. Or maybe Noeul’s style of acting just isn’t for me. Interestingly when I’ve seen clips of Noeul not acting- it felt more natural and was more appealing than the character Rain 😬

I don’t regret watching this. There were some epic scenes I loved, but I don’t think it holds any rewatch value and that’s ok ☺️

Definitely a "bodice ripper"

LITA is popular for a reason. The chemistry is great, the overall idea pretty good, and the NC scenes are well executed (not that realistic though).

MILD SPOILERS BELOW ***

However, I was not surprised when I learnt MAME wrote this because it has everything a teen girl could want in a BL; and not in the best way. The whole bathroom scene with Payu and Rain made me cringe, not to mention it was nonconsensual. There were a lot of other scenes like that making the writing seem pretty juvenile.

I did like the dynamic between Pai and Sky. But Sky's trauma is basically portrayed as a way to progress their relationship, and after he tells Pai about it, the whole situation is glossed over and not revisited.

But, it was a decently light watch and I can definitely appreciate that, and the chemistry between all leads was great. I loved the affection they gave to each other and there are a lot of fluffy scenes. I especially have a soft spot for Sky and P'Pai. Some if the scenes were funny and I liked the friendship between Sky and Rain. I rewatch LITA when I have nothing else to watch, and it's a great way to turn off my brain for a while.

You watch for the first couple, you end for everyone

I will write a pretty short review and it will be biased.
This was my first ever BL - I know shocking.

I came to write a review 4 months after I watched it so I can have a more broad understanding of the bl industry and storyline.
I have to say I would recommend this to almost everyone, you have aspects of action, romance, comedy..

The NC scenes are known to be the best.. And rightfully so.
They were executed in in such a beautiful and powerful way.

If you want a fluffy bl - watch this but be aware that it is not as fluffy as it seams. It will break your hart and build it again piece by piece. P' prapai and Sky will show you how relationships can be healthy and loving, how everyone deserves attention and care.
P' payu and Rain's relationship will shoe you true understanding and maturing.

It is not a"cringe bl" even tho some scenes might be hard to watch. It is a true work of art.

I say "watch it" . You will most likely enjoy it. If not you will at least learn more about yourself trough this show
