In ep 12, when YouQin is almost dying from repairing GuiXu. In his unconscious state, he saw YeTan:
YouQin:”I am dying QingKui, sorry…”
YeTan: “You can be afraid, you are not wrong….Only when we are afraid of death, do we understand the preciousness of living.”
This was the same line she said to YouQin earlier when he was battling his inner child, his fears. He learnt to accept and embrace instead of fighting with his fears. Beautiful line.
Ep 26 - The whole confession scene by Shao Dian YouQin 2.0 is touching to me. But I particularly like this part:
After YQ told YT that he remembers everything they done together as mortal.
Yetan: “But if you remember those…do you also remember …I am not…”
YQ: “That you are not LiGuang Qingkui but LiGuang Yetan. Why does it matters?” “It doesn’t matter who you are, what matters is that it’s you.”
They hugged and YT looked at YQ in disbelieve.
YQ: “Why? You don’t believe me?”
YT:”I believe you, it’s just that I don’t dare to think…”
YQ: “Then don’t think about anything, in future, no matter what happens, I will be by your side.”
My heart melts…LOL!
YouQin: “Tonight I grant you this piece of asteroid (Rooftop Swallow Mansion) as a gift. May your life be like the stars, always shinning brightly in the sky, and May you have no fear on earth, May you earn respect and admiration by millions and yet embrace the ordinariness of life.”
