Ancient Love Poetry Episode 1

The story starts during the ancient times when four True Gods ruled the Three Realms while the immortals and demons lived in harmony. The Chief God of Chaos, the most powerful God, was responsible for all living beings. But, the title was held by Shang Gu, a young Goddess who was born with closed God vessels and little spiritual power. She escapes to the immortal realm with her long time friend, Yuemi, Goddess of Moon and Stars to attend a dating event, but ruins it after she tries out a spell. Zhi Yang, the True God of Immortality seeks to punish her and she decides to hide in Chang Yuan Hall that had been abandoned 10,000 years ago as its owner Bai Jue, True God of War, had left for Mount Lookout in the Lower realm to teach young immortals. Tian Qi, the True God of Demons invites him back to the God Realm under Zhi Yang's orders. Zhi Yang requests Bai Jue to train Shang Gu as the barrier of Chaos that protects the realms from the Nether world was disintegrating and the Tribulation of Chaos was approaching. Tian Qi and Yuemi had spoilt her instead of teaching her and he promises that Shang Gu was diligent and polite. While hiding in Chang Yuan Hall, Shang Gu sees the Goddess of Snow, Xue Ying planting blue flowers whilst awaiting Bai Jue's return. However, he burns the flowers, forbids her from entering the hall and catches Shang Gu peeking. Shang Gu argues with Bai Jue for his disregard for the Goddess's feelings and he throws her out. Zhi Yang encourages an embarassed Shang Gu to become Bai Jue's apprentice and learn his skills to defeat him. She agrees to it, but arrives at Chang Yuan Hall in grandeur to displease him on purpose. Bai Jue forces her to dress in simple clothes, makes her destroy the baubles that she had brought along and gives her the task of doing basic attendant duties alongside his Divine beast, Hongri. He tests her skills a few days later, giving her the task of placating the Tiger Demons of Red Blood Forest, promising to formally teach her spells and universe rules if she manages to do so. She asks Tian Qi for help and he informs that demons like sincere feelings. Before Shang Gu's 10000 birthday party, Goddess Xue Ying visits Chang Yuan Hall with her friends, bringing lavish gifts. Shang Gu sees through them and asks what favor they require. They request her to find a way for them get closer to Bai Jue. Shang Gu is astounded and asks why the Goddesses fell for the cold and harsh God. She comes up with a plan for them. (Souce: kisskh.)
