I found the first few episodes to be remarkably similar!
They both feature desert scenes where one person saves the other.
Both MLs also hide their true identity and both FLs are princesses.
Both also have a marriage alliance and devoted MLs.
Definitely recommend if you're looking for a drama to fill the gap after Princess Jieyou or Goodbye my princess.

If Hotel del Luna moved you with love bound by time and regret, Goodbye My Princess will show you the same ache stripped of fantasy — brutal, raw, and heartbreakingly real.
Both understand that some souls are tied not by destiny, but by the wounds they leave on each other.
For love stories that don’t heal cleanly, I map the scars across my profile.

If you're a sucker for strong chemistry between the leads, then this one has got it too! Another similarity is the devotion, borderline obsession, of the male lead to the female lead - there is only one woman in their heart and one woman only! But the romantic journeys are very different, which keep things interesting. Both series are high in angst and will send you on a roller coaster of emotions. Last but not least, the acting by the ML and FL in both are top notch! Making the audience feel the emotions right along with them.
