I started watching mostly because of curiosity since there are almost no lgbtq+ kdramas, but as I continued, I became enthralled in the story. The reason I didn't give it a 10/10 was because there was so much potential in the story but it seemed a bit rushed. It was a wonderful show but I think that it could have been even better if the show was longer and had some more development. It would have been really cool if there were episodes showing flashbacks of Tae Joo and Gang Gook. I also feel that the ending could have been stretched out over more episodes(showing parts of Gang Gook and Tae Joo's separate lives after Tae Joo left). Overall, this was a great show and I highly recommend it. This another step towards further normalizing lgbtq+ relationships in South Korean media. Was this review helpful to you?

WHERE YOUR EYES LINGER is one of the most beautiful dramas I've seen. And I loved WHY R U and UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN. But there is something so real and raw about this one that has my heart. It has received my highest rating thus far. And for this drama to come out of Korea??? I am so proud of S. Korea right now--because this one is a hit.Everything about this drama was amazing--the writing, the acting, the music, the actors. I believe WHERE YOUR EYES LINGER is a love letter to BL and BL fans everywhere. It is beautifully drafted and you can tell some real thought went into the scenes and the acting.
I am in love with Eui Soo - I barely recognized him from Memorist - but after this I am such a fan! Gi Chan is new to me but I really hope he gets more roles. He was fantastic in this! That scene before Tae Joo went away broke my soul so hard--but I regret nothing!
Over the past few months I have basically given up on BL dramas. But this one has me wondering if I've given up too soon. I was glued to my screen, couldn't stop watching.
I am adding this one to my must rewatch list. You have to watch it!

Beautifully acted
The first episode was a bit confusing but then it got really good. The acting is great, the OST sweet and even the cinematography is pretty great, considering this is a mini drama. I was surprised what the drama managed to do within its short running time. The plot is both funny and suspenseful and the side characters really grow on you, too. I loved Hye Mi, Pil Hyun and Hye Mi's mother. Most importantly, the chemistry between Han Gi Chan and Jang Eui Soo is tangible. I wish this was a full length drama.

Sweet & Simple Story That Leads You Wanting More
By far....my favorite BL series OF 2020, HANDS DOWN!!!! i originally wanted to wait until all 8 episodes were released before watching this series considering how short the episodes were, however i caved after the second week and watched all 4 that were released at the time and since then IVE BEEN HOOKED!!! I remember being so excited for this when I first heard about it airing soon but had no idea how much I would love it!! Considering that each episode is only 10 minutes long, and only 8 episodes in total, I thought they did a great job with the story's execution and presented it well where you're always asking for more once the episode ends. And honestly...I think many of us wanted this series to be longer whether in episode quantity or in minutes, but maybe that was the beauty of this drama, because it was so short it utilized its limitations in really solidifying and focusing on the story and relationship between Gook & Taejoo. The chemistry between the leads is insane!! Trulyyy amazing performances from both of them, Han Gi Chan & Jang Eui Soo portrayed their roles perfectly!! You can really feel all their different emotions just from looking at their eyes. You felt all the emotions they were feeling. Even if they weren't always direct with their thoughts, you can still clearly see how much they truly loved and cared for one another. Although sometimes, their insecurities got the best of them leading to complications, but honestly what relationship doesn't experience this? I love how raw and realistic this story was and felt like I was living through their love story (or at least a glimpse of it) first hand seeing it develop! Also that Ahjumma was soo adorable >< omggg LOL, she was one of my favorite characters, literally me when I get older haha!! ANDD CANNN WE TALK ABOUT THAT ENDING!!???? MY GIRL SQUEALS WERE COMING OUT FULL FORCE watching it, and it just made me so much more happier and satisfied seeing this beautiful happy ending!! KOREAAA...NO THIS DIRECTOR/WRITER OUTDID THEMSELVES & EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS WITH THIS ONE!! and i hopee that this is only the beginning and we can see moree works like this in the future!!! I already miss this drama and probably will rewatch it again! I cant wait to see the directors cut movie!!! XD
All in all, its a short and simple storyline....but by the end...it leaves a lasting impression on you. =)

Wish it were longer
There was adequate character development in this drama, despite it's short length. The story was good, and the production was good in my opinion. I even enjoyed the fight scenes....it's unusual for me to enjoy EVERY fight scene, but I did.... especially the scene where Gook had to fight his way into the house. The drama had to move pretty fast in order to tell the story, but I think it would have been better if it were more fleshed out, a little slower, and had another few episodes. I enjoyed the acting and the story, I just wanted more.

Not that special
I was very excited to watch this series, as many people had recommended it to me, calling it one of the best Korean BL dramas to date. However, after watching it, I found myself somewhat disappointed. At no point did the series feel particularly special to me. The episodes are too short to allow for meaningful development, with some lasting only 10 or 11 minutes. With just eight episodes in total, the entire series barely reaches two hours, which I believe is insufficient to fully flesh out the story.
I enjoyed only the first two episodes. From the third episode onward, the pacing became tiresome and repetitive, making it difficult to stay engaged. Additionally, Where Your Eyes Linger fails to develop its characters in a way that allows the audience to connect with them. As a result, the emotional impact is weakened, and the story feels underdeveloped.

A perfect series to watch if you want something quick.
This drama provide me comfort and angst that Im not expecting. The story line is good and you should expect a light story line. If I want to make a comparism, the storyline or plot is like a short stories essay kind of. If that make sense. The chemistry from both of the actors are there. Even tho you can’t feel it at first but it build up in the upcoming episodes. [spoiler] This drama segmented same as the typical Korean drama. What I mean by this is that this drama will not give you excessive romantic and we final finally see them happy at the last minutes of last episodes. And they have to part a bit before finding happiness. [end spoiler]
The OSTs are definietly my kind of songs. I have listen to full albums and boyy i can say that every songs are so good.

very nice but also so short :(
So, this was the first Korean bl and it was wonderfully done. It felt exactly like how a kdrama for any hetero romance would be. I think it handles the concept of falling in love for a friend very well. Both the actors are very very good at pining. I honestly think the story could have been a bit better if it was longer, but it still did amazing with what it was given. I honestly can't be a judge towards music because I don't pay attention to soundtracks in these shows most of the time. I would honestly love to see either of the other actors in another series. Was this review helpful to you?

Simple & Good
This was one of the first Bls that I truly enjoyed watching. Even though the budget is not the greatest, there is no denial on how much chemistry both Mls have throughout the series. I just wished they had more time to further elaborate their feelings, ups and downs. The story felt empty without those.Nonetheless, I always rewatch this one when I feel down.
Just watching them feels like a warm hug.

This could have been a PERFECT unforgettable little gem...
Realistically, I should have rated this a maximum of 8/10 but this short BL drama was so well acted by the 2 MLs, they alone deserved this added bonus point. The cinematography (lighting and colours, especially) was beautiful and the angst (unsaid words, looks, touch...) absolutely top-notch.
I appreciated how the storyline was very focused but found this series unfortunately WAY TOO SHORT (1hr 20min in total). This short drama definitely lacked "breathing" between scenes. Also those 2 talented actors' chemistry deserved more screen time together but I'm not sure that would have been enough to save the sadly underdeveloped and rushed ending.
Btw, the comic relief of the girl's mother was a welcome fun touch.

Heartwarming Story with a tad of Teen Drama Elements
Really sweet and enjoyable. The only problem is every episode is too short. They need time for story elements to breathe and develop. Even merging them into a singular movie doesn’t really solve the problem. The chemistry between the actors is solid. But this is a sweet little BL. I am starting to like the trope of falling in love with one's bodyguard. However, when that bodyguard is also the same age of you in high school that is a little bit of a stretch. Then again the fight scene to go see his love is kind of exciting.
Again the main weakness of this series is that each episode is too short so all its strengths don't have time to sit with the audience. It just breezes past major plot points because each episode is 10-12 minutes in length.
