Repetitive Boring Plot
I am really getting tired of romantic fluff and this one is no exception. I really wanted to like this show and it started out very cute and light hearted, but the writing and the acting is so poor that I can't give it a pass. It is full of cliche plots that have been done elsewhere, and rife with brand pushing. How many times can the actors drink Rio without puking out their insides? Their refrigerators are completely stocked with Rio beverages, and NOTHING else. Is it any wonder they have to eat out?There doesn't seem to be any normal women in this show and, I am sad to say, they aren't depicted in a favorable light here. The women are either gullible, starry eyed, Mary-Sue types who are constantly being told they need to be protected, or are crazy, lunatics. When the guys aren't telling them what to do, the ladies are chasing down men or beating them up. If a woman is actually tough, she is depicted as having no feelings. Of course, the men don't fare any better. They are either plotting behind each others' backs, or throwing around their toxic masculinity. I just wanted for our FL to have at least one person who wanted what was best for her with no ulterior motive. Sadly, everyone wanted to run her life for her. It's disheartening.
I only watched this because I was fresh off The Long Ballad and was delighted there was another show with Lusi Zhao. She is a fine actress and so adorable. Unfortunately, this romance is so poorly written that I felt her talent was wasted. In fact, the plot is so sloppy that actors disappear, make choices that don't really fit their personality, and loose ends are not tied up. There is no wrap up of important plot details and, once again, the villains are given an arc of redemption instead of the well-deserved punishment for their depraved behavior. Plot is implausible, as is the norm in these types of fluffy romances and the acting is cringeworthy. I would rate this better than Meteor Garden but not by much.

Guess someone could like it.
I am physically uncapable of finishing this drama, i guess it's good, but not good enough. I usually like stories centered around the relationship between the leads, and this is that for pretty much the first half, however it gets kind of repetitive as the story progresses and it gets into more -family matters- (some siblings against the main leads in one way or another). Also... WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL IS WRONG WITH HER BROTHER?????????????? and the fact that we have to accept him as like the second love interest :(( so creepy, get away from her immediately, if you needed a reason not to watch it there you go. I don't usually expect much from chinese dramas because they tend to lack on storyline and also in mantaining that storyline, I feel that most of the times (including this one) you start watching a drama and end up watching a very different one, I didn't get to finish this one cause it's imposible, but I feel that it fits with the rest of the dramas with this samekind of narrative. In conclusion, you'll probably like it if you don't mind or even like the things that I mentioned before, it's a pretty fun show more on the "adult" side and the main couple are very cute.Was this review helpful to you?
chemistry between cast is great
Entire lead cast is good looking in looks. You don't get bored of looking at their faces. And their acting is pretty good too.Although there are antagonist in plot but they are not bad to the extent you feel overwhelmed by the darkness in story. Its pretty light hearted. Although there is political rivalry and there are more of nice dialogues between hero heroin. Although you feel like its so obvious, how can she believe such lies, you still wanna watch it as it is light hearted and has a warm feeling to it.

TERRY LIU ISN'T ON THE LUSI'S BEST MEN LIST
I felt like this drama is for 16 years old girl fan base...all too idealistic; handsome, rich, smart man came around accidentally who shower her with brand-name gifts and declaration of love...who makes some love sacrifices just to be together with the love of his life, who would easily say 'sorry' and promise to change his behavior (Spoil alert: For young Ladies, in real life it never happen that way) it's too perfect to be true but l would watch Zhao LuSi drama no matter how it is. I saw the commercial preview and seems interesting and funny, as the episodes progress the love is blooming and sweet but the story isn't catching. The story all over the place, one day they're on self discovery and the next live together and joining company. At the beginning Xiao Ba/Ling Yue (Terry Liu) lived in Gu AnXin (Zhao LuSi) apartment because she accidentally hit him on rainy winding road night, extorting AnXin to save himself from potential murder and buying time to investigate it, Xiao Ba/Ling Yue pretended to have amnesia.Then moved up to AnXin has 5% stock in Ling's company, then everyone reveal - her adoptive brother has loved her since young, sister that has loved Ling Yue since school, bought apartment, co-owner of a company, someone sending threats, Ling Yue's jealousy, bla..bla..bla...the producing team wanted to cover the world problems into this drama. AnXin easy to misunderstood Ling Yue but quickly make up - like her upset didn't last and got resolve within half episode. There's scene when AnXin received a sexy lingerie or they make out at the office....all unfit because 2 MLs are so cute and innocent face, being naughty sexy isn't in their nature so it's kind out of place. I don't think I am fond of this drama and pretty sure, Terry Liu isn't going to be named as the best Zhao LuSi CP as 3 other previous co-stars; Zhang Ye Cheng, Ryan Ding Yu Xi, and Liu Yu Ning. Hmm....waiting for Yang Yang to come on the list.

Only for Slow burn drama fans
I personally quite enjoy watching the drama initially but towards the end of the show, if got a bit boring and the plot got a bit rusty with a lot of family drama.I am a fan of Terry Liu and Zhao Lusi so it was fun watching them together.
They as actors did justice to their characters, it would have been fun if the story was built in a more better way.
overall, the drama can be a one time watch, pass time.
It is not a very different story but a quite similar CEO plot, though I loved how Terry Lou’s character, Ling Yue was written, the writer did a wonderful job writing his character..!

Best Romance
I like how the consistency of character they have. I can say this is lighthearted warm romance, I like all the cast.. They are perfectly done their role even though some were rookie but they are great. I can feel their team was having fun filming. 😊 Zhao jie is so sweet to liu Te, and I guess he is lucky enough to have all the sweetest scenes with Zhao jie. I hope they will work again in the same drama. 😊 Or maybe we can get a season 2 a story of their family. Anyway I like how they are so natural and enjoying filming, in their behind the scenes no awkwardness to the female and male lead.Was this review helpful to you?
Corny and Cheesy but Sweet
If you're looking for a realistic love story, please keep looking. If you are interested in something lighthearted, with a hero and heroine you can root for, this might be the perfect show for you. Ling Yue gets into a car crash, manages to crawl out of it and is then run over by a delivery girl on a scooter named An Xin. He demands reparations, insisting that An Xin pay for his recovery time in an expensive hotel that can cater to his every need since he has both a hurt leg and amnesia. An Xin can't afford anything he is asking for and instead brings him home to care for him in person. It is easy to see why Ling Yue falls for An Xin - she's sweet, cheerful, kindhearted, generous, and good-natured. She brings him a lot of joy. He is kind and clever, so they make a good couple.I liked the chemistry between the couple (I read that they dated in real life) and that there was some passion in their relationship. Too often in these dramas we are left wondering if these people even want to be together but here it is clear they very much do like and want each other. I liked that their problems were mainly externally generated rather than them constantly misunderstanding each other. There were a lot of cute dating sequences/scenes too. The villains are over the top but at least they had some motives (I've seen plenty of dramas where they don't) and I liked how the story handled them. Overall, I really liked this show.

On of the most rewatch movie
One of the best romance movies, and always makes you want to rewatch again and again , the storyline was not so complicated, just simple and nice....Zhao Lusi is one of the best actress to perform these kind of story, yes It was a Cinderella story ,Liu Te also an underated actor so far, but in this movie both chemistry was soo strong,Was this review helpful to you?

Cutesy 1st half and bland second half
As the title suggests... The first half was pretty fast yet it is entertaining... I wont speak about the clichès as all cdramas and kdramas adorned with innumerable ones... The chemistry between the leads is pleasing to watch... But the Actor appeared stiff throughout the drama.. It is entertaining till the 12th episode and the story starts to feel draggy .. So the pace they picked up in the intial episodes will start to show repercussions in the end.. It is a light , cute and lovable drama if u are planning to watch till the 12th episode... love love love
I was so surprised at every twist and turn. I loved how confident the female lead was. She was strong and talented on her own which made the male lead and her love even more amazing. I am glad that the "criminal" and "bully" got what they deserved, since its always so unsatisfying when the villain gets happiness anyways, but they showed the reasons leading up to why they become what they are.All and all this series was so packed with so many twists and turns that you are so excited for every episode. I am normally very good at discerning what will happen before it does but this one really kept me on my toes, especially finding out who the main villain(s) were... (0.0)
a must see for anyone looking for an amazing series.

Unrealistic romance but cute if you like the cast
ML is poor fit too much of a boy that lacks alpha qualities. It’s a shame for the FL is really strong acting ability from LLTG. I watching this drama just because of her. The story and characters were kind of weak. But if you like the cast it’s still fun to watch as it has some cute moments.Was this review helpful to you?
