Not excellent, but certainly not bad either
I feel like this drama is very in-line with Sung Hoon's 2 dramas, which are "My Secret Romance" and "Noble My Love". It feels very 2015 romance cliche to me. Maybe because the three of them involves rich CEO male lead, and poor woman, with ML being playfully teasing FL because he wants to pursue FL?I don't think this drama is revolutionary and memorable, as I watched this in 2021, and came back watching it in 2023 with forgetting most of the plot. However, aside from not being the best script, Zhao Lu Si's acting skills still as excellent as ever. People kept saying that she acts like that in every drama - but what is wrong with that as long as it fits the character in the drama. I also love Liu Te's appearance in the drama as well.
As for the love story, It can be considered rather a mixture between romantic-comedy and melodrama, as it involves some heavy family & business dramas.
The ending feels unsettling for me. For personal taste, I'd like to see some karma for the bad characters, it's just how I am, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. But they don't show Gu An Xin's step sister, stepmom, dad's endings that I'd prefer. Instead, they only show how the sister is living a somewhat decent life, stepmother woken up from bed in a hospital, or the dad who has dementia and didn't appear in the show's ending. For me, I'd like for the dad to admit to his mistakes and apologize heavily for his terrible actions toward his own daughter AND her mom. After all, her mom's death is totally her dad's and stepmom's fault. But no, they get a somewhat decent ending for cornering someone until she's dead. But that's my issue.
Aside from all, this drama feels very hallmark-y to me. But if it's your drama taste, you might enjoy this drama.
Ps. Is it just me or the main leads can pass as a sibling? they both really look alike. Probably because they have similar face and nose structure? and their eyes shape are kinda similar too!

Good weekend binge
This started out well and the entire series has a lot of things going on from car accident, amnesia, evil stepmother, dementia, attempted murder, sibling rivalry, jealousy, corporate leadership, acquisition, bullying, etc all in 24 episodes. It got a bit overwhelming, that the onky good going for the lead characters are couplenof good friends and a great assistant.Role portrayal by most were good. Lead male for me did not fit the character. Just didnt click for me the way he portrayed a cold CEO. His sweet face didnt jibe with the character.
The production was good. I believe it could have been directed better. Overall I am contented with it. Just didnt leave me with the feeling of excitement or anticipation.

A great light watch
Another great drama without too much and without the extra tropes thrown in. The main couple would break up but they got back together fairly quickly because they really cared about each other. The main reason they broke up was because he didn't really have a memory loss and only used it as an excuse to stay closer to her.Also, I sorta knew who the real bad guy was almost from his first appearance. I just didn't know how much his mind was messed up. I also don't understand if the ml is the father's real son or is he adopted? I don't think that was fully explained after a comment from the older brother.

Nice series
Some reviews have not given a good feedback on this drama. Normally the ratings are very accurate. Anything below 8 will have some flaws & after a few episodes, I stop watchingSo i started watching although there are really poor views. I really enjoy the show. It’s not draggy. All the characters together form a very nice show.
Definitely worth watching
Characters are well designed and watch it to enjoy the unfolding. This story has a strong storyline on the portrayal of these characters. Hence it’s very different.

Full of hilarious and romantic scenes, the Chinese drama ‘Please Feel at Ease Mr. Ling' gave a strong message: Lucky Gu An Xin, to have a dream lover like Ling Yue! Not only tall, handsome, rich, also loyal and very caring!Imagine Ling Yue willingly waiting for her boyfriend to work overtime until the wee hours of the morning! Even though it is said that Ling Yue is a CEO of an IT company who is certainly very busy.
Excellence of Chinese drama ‘Please Feel at Ease Mr. Ling' is indeed located in the love story of Ling Yue - Gu An Xin, who is like a colorful, fragrant flower, dominating the whole story.
Zhao Lu Si as Gu An Xin never fails to act as a sweet lover and makes his partner fall in love. Whoever the partner is, Zhao Lu Si has always succeeded in presenting acting with chemistry that makes you melt.
The rest, not really! Although made based on the web novel "I Accidentally Picked Up a President" (一不小心捡到个总裁) by Chun Feng Yi Du (纯风一度), the Chinese drama ‘Please Feel at Ease Mr. Ling' failed to present a story that is comfortable to watch.
Maybe he wants to make the audience curious, but instead it becomes annoying. Like the story of Gu An Xin who was blocked by water by Yu Guo while attending his father's birthday party. The audience was left with no explanation: Who the heck is Yu Guo? How can you freely enter a high-class party?
At the end of the drama, everything is revealed, but it's too bad, isn't it? The series of stories feels hollow, doesn't follow and makes you uncomfortable.
In addition to a series of perforated stories, details on player costumes are often overlooked. Like Gu Xin Er's clothes (complete with Chanel bag and earrings) that's all. Meanwhile, it is said that Gu Xin Er is the son of a wealthy man, the owner of the Gushi Group.
The lousy second lead acting adds a row of negative values. Luckily the Chinese drama ‘Please Feel at Ease Mr. Ling' is supported by music reminiscent of Jerry Yan's Taiwanese drama "Meteor Graden" (Dao Ming Shi).
And of course the brilliance of the couple Zhao Lu Si (Gu An Xin) and Liu Te (Yue / Xiao Ba) who give a warm light and cheerful hue throughout the drama. Make the audience stupefied until the final episode.

Most importantly, the ending was very unique and not hanging. It really put me at "Ease" watching the ending in a peaceful/romantic/optimistic way. Thank you! Such a great drama!

Full of Zhao lusi cuteness and amazing romance
I really held back from watching this as I figured it would be the same story arc as most romance drama follow. I will say this when I first saw that FL stepmom, in an instant I knew she was sinister. I had a flashback of story of minglan where her dad's concubine kills her mother. The way the story started it was a DELIGHT i truly felt engaged and could not stop SMILING, having each episode filled with romance with so many couples the ML' secretary and his best friend, FL's best friend and their work boss/partner were all great. The only thing I disliked was the lack of KARMA, the stepmom should have suffered more and why did the writer give the FL dad's memory loss (dementia) he should not be blessed with having no memories of how he treated his own daughter like garbage and killing his own wife indirectly ( first wife). I wanted to see him beg for forgiveness and repent for the rest of his life and also transfer the entire company to her as compensation.Was this review helpful to you?
Low budget filler drama
Not sure what I expected when i watched this but it was disappointing in every aspect. Liu Te does not have the acting skills to be a ML. Not sure what his background is, but he's basically a void in this drama. ZLS is also very cringy in this. Maybe its the character or maybe she knows this is not gonna be a good drama because she looks bored here. Also, ZLS looks so frumpy and its especially bad compared to the SFL. The plot is silly and nonsensical and the leads have zero chemistry. How is this even rated at 8 stars? Don't waste your time on this, its really a bad drama.Was this review helpful to you?
I fast forwarded the last half of the show, and even the plot twist seemed forced and came out of left field, inserted only for the sake of a last hurrah. The attempt failed as I didn't care much about the characters. The drama had a lot of unnecessary fillers and could have been finished in half the length.
