Cutesy 1st half and bland second half
As the title suggests... The first half was pretty fast yet it is entertaining... I wont speak about the clichès as all cdramas and kdramas adorned with innumerable ones... The chemistry between the leads is pleasing to watch... But the Actor appeared stiff throughout the drama.. It is entertaining till the 12th episode and the story starts to feel draggy .. So the pace they picked up in the intial episodes will start to show repercussions in the end.. It is a light , cute and lovable drama if u are planning to watch till the 12th episode... Chemistry
He’s getting more handsome, improved in acting and the body is getting more masculine. Hope will see more a main roles of him. Hope we can watch all of his drama’s on iQIY, YOUKU, WeTV because it’s a cheap purchase for VIP watchers like me. I hope he’ll get more opportunities in the future. love love love
I was so surprised at every twist and turn. I loved how confident the female lead was. She was strong and talented on her own which made the male lead and her love even more amazing. I am glad that the "criminal" and "bully" got what they deserved, since its always so unsatisfying when the villain gets happiness anyways, but they showed the reasons leading up to why they become what they are.All and all this series was so packed with so many twists and turns that you are so excited for every episode. I am normally very good at discerning what will happen before it does but this one really kept me on my toes, especially finding out who the main villain(s) were... (0.0)
a must see for anyone looking for an amazing series.

Unrealistic romance but cute if you like the cast
ML is poor fit too much of a boy that lacks alpha qualities. It’s a shame for the FL is really strong acting ability from LLTG. I watching this drama just because of her. The story and characters were kind of weak. But if you like the cast it’s still fun to watch as it has some cute moments.Was this review helpful to you?

WORTH TO WATCH
LIU TE IS THE MAIN REASON WHY I FALL IN LOVE WITH CDRAMA .. and the drama itself makes you more happy ♥ and its my 5th time rewatching it . i never know i would like Chinese drama because i only grew up with the Korean drama, but watching this drama is worth it . no hard dramas, but its a very smooth feeling you feel , no intense anger or emotion, its just too good and comfortable. anyways, Liu Te also has other dramas too, and its name is My Dear Lady , i hope he become a more successful actor. he is too handsome , tall and milky white too.Was this review helpful to you?
Cliche but...
Honestly speaking, scripts has either been this or that. When watching dramas; to those avid drama watchers will know how it ends or whats the next scene. As one of those avid drama watchers for both K/C- Dramas. This series is good! Albeit cliche but the casts were just right for their characters. And what?There is an unexpected plot twist!! The one whom you thought was bad? Nah, he wasn't the one. With endless cute scenes, business rivalry scenes... The drama was quite wholesome!
It's a relatively cute drama to be frank and if i have a choice, i would definitely choose to watch and not skip it!

A Tedious and Illogical storyline ruined by weak performances
For me, the drama started off decently the first five episodes were acceptable. However, from that point on, everything spiraled downward. The pacing became painfully slow, and the cringe moments, instead of adding charm as they sometimes do in other dramas, only made the experience worse.The acting was another major letdown, especially from the male lead. His performance lacked expression and felt stiff to the point of lifelessness. I honestly have no idea how he was cast for this role perhaps solely based on appearance but his lack of skill was glaring. The chemistry between the characters was nonexistent it felt like watching robots recite lines rather than people bringing a story to life.
The storyline itself lacked both meaning and logic. Instead of delivering a clever or engaging plot, the writing descended into absurdity. Even the portrayal of the family dynamics made no sense. I wanted to drop the drama after episode five, but I continued in the hope of improvement only to be left utterly disappointed.
This might be one of Zhou Lusi’s worst works. I genuinely don’t understand how it’s receiving high ratings perhaps it’s simply a matter of personal taste. For me, however, it was a ridiculous, boring mess that wasted my time. Rewatching is out of the question, and frankly, I wouldn’t recommend watching it even once. Every character was mediocre, the story was nonsensical, and the overall execution was a complete failure.

Overrated type of drama
very bad drama. I watched this drama because I like FL and tried watching this drama, the first episode wasn't too bad I could enjoy watching, episode two ML was very stupid and created a lot of problems for FL why do people like to portray rich and stupid guys who can't even do it? what's wrong, if I become FL it's better to report to the police than to take care of useless humans like that. I tried to watch longer because of FL but it's still a trashy and cringe drama. I don't know why it's given an 8 rating even though the IMB is only 7 and I think 7 is a bit high for a drama like this, this drama is very overrated and in my opinion the only thing that makes the rating high is the FL.Was this review helpful to you?

Fun & light but frustrating side character(s)

Ling Yue and Gu An Xin were a rare insta-ish love that you can totally believe and root for. The softness in Yue’s eyes when he looks at An Xin within like the third episode is disarming and I ate it up.
I would say overall they are a solid couple that needed to navigate communication and self-confidence to get to their HEA as a couple. It was frustrating to see them build walls at every inconvenience at the start but it makes their relationship a lot more hard earned than other “insta-love” stories so I think that is why they work.
Moving away from them, I LOVED Ling Fang’s character arc. I think the “evil stepbrother” set up was super well done and to have him really realize he’s just fighting himself as opposed to Ling Yue was a nice reprieve from cliches. Which made Ling Sheng’s plot twist reveal all the more suprising and a solid contrast to the brother dynamics.
Gu An Sheng was alright. I see how his role was needed but I just wish he had a bit more depth and that we could learn more about why he loved Gu An Xin so much. Especially since he seems to have been her step-brother while the sisters are half siblings?
I wanted to know more about Gu Yuan Chao because he is given a decent amount of importance but then in the end he’s just sick and bed ridden so that was disappointing. I know Yang Hong is revealed to be the “real villain” but I still feel like the resolution here was tepid at most.
Last but not least, Gu Xin Er was the most headache inducing, exhausting to look at, pathetic character. The fact that her story ends with her promising to wait for Ling Sheng regardless of the fact that he almost killed half her family is the ending I guess she deserves but was embarrassing to witness. I think she needs therapy more than a man.

Para mim foi decepcionante.
Foi o primeiro C-drama da atriz Zhao Lu Si que assisti que não gostei. Na verdade o enredo em si não colaborou. Os atores são impecáveis, mas a história foi triste.Começou até bem, mas depois só foi ladeira abaixo. No sentido de eu achar os personagens doentios e da história em si não abordar, com detalhes, certas partes, que para mim eram importantes para o enredo.
Mas o cúmulo foi o casal secundário, que era irmãos de ambos. Gente! Esse povo precisava ser internado, urgente. Que casal doentio foi esse? O pior que era os dois! Ela criou num imaginário um amor doentio, que o principal amava ela e a Prota surgiu pra atrapalhar esse romance, e a criatura mesmo sendo pisoteada pelo homem, achava que ele estava sendo manipulado e amava sim ainda ela. Mulher! Vá se tratar. E o pior: é perseguida por um homem que se encobre numa paixão, que pra mim é doentia. O cara perseguia ela 24 horas, sabia o paradeiro dela, sob o pretexto que estava preocupado. Gente isso não é normal não. Eu acho que eu criei uma aversão enorme por esses personagens que isso fez com que eu não simpatizasse pela história. Apesar de até gostar dos principais.
E no final. Que foi o momento onde, até que para minha surpresa, ele se mostrou como o vilão da história. Acho que em nenhum momento suspeitei, pois estava impactada com o casal. Ele acha tudo bem matar o irmão, por conta de um sentimento de inferioridade, criado pelo pai, mas a mulher decide esperar ele sair da prisão. Pois ele amava muito ela e merecia que o esperasse. Oi? Gente! Quem criou essa história é louco, kkk.
Pra mim isso que destruiu tudo!

Recommended for Rom-Com Enthusiasts
I have only watched 6 episodes of this drama and was surprised by the fast pacing. It's just a feel-good cohabitation drama wherein the female lead accidentally hit the male lead resulting in his temporary amnesia. Thus, the female lead took responsibility of him and let him live with her. There's more to the characters' backstory but I don't want to spoil anything so I'll let you discover it yourself. There's nothing special or unique with the plot. Zhao Lusi is hard-carrying in the acting department since Liu Te is not doing much (to be fair, I believe he's a new actor so there's that). If you want a feel-good rom-com drama, then I would recomment this.Was this review helpful to you?
