Charismatic Louis Koo is David Chow, a small-time businessman whose successful rise in the triad underworld comes is a deliberate means to an end. He's forced to join the triad of Boss Sing in order to bail out his buddy, but he has an ulterior motive: revenge upon Sing for the crippling of Sam, a good friend and brother to Ann (Kristy Yang), the girl he loves. In the years since Sam's accident, Sing has shown generosity and remorse, and even Ann has been willing to forgive him. But since David refuses to let go, a confrontation between he and Sing is inevitable. David operates from the values of loyalty and brotherhood, but when those values get taken to their extreme, violence and tragedy may be his reward. Edit Translation
