With a very interesting music and (of course) a brilliant themes, this series absolutely become one of my favorite series of this year.
But for me It's really a shame, it actually could be more explored and extended the story. Somehow I feel something missing :(

Heart Warming w/ different plot
Been watching and turns out amazing. It's heartbreaking, heart warming, lovely and chemistry is on top. Idk y this series is soo underrated like actually is really good and i'm really enjoying this. The plot is soo rare like it's my first time watching BL with that plot like it's amazing and super cute, cool and fun.The actor is really good job for portraying the character, even lil bit kinda hard or facial expression problem but just a bit and still enjoy it. Really worth to watch and not wasting time because i need part 2, i mean for secondary couple because they look cool together. Hopefully they will have it!!!

Short, Imperfect but Beautiful
Despite its low-budget feel, Innocent surprised me with its emotional depth and sincere storytelling. The series may be short, but it manages to build a strong emotional connection in just four episodes — which is honestly impressive.Bo Zhan Zheng, who played Zheng Yu Shi, delivered an exceptional performance. His ability to portray two distinct personalities — the innocent, pure-hearted Yu Shi and the protective, mature Noah — was incredibly well-executed. You could feel the shift every time he switched personas, and it never felt forced or gimmicky.
Wu Zheng, on the other hand, is the definition of a green flag. Calm, kind, patient — he provided a sense of emotional safety that made the entire story feel warmer, even amidst the psychological complexity. I only wish we got more of his backstory or inner thoughts. The series hints at growth and emotional evolution for both characters, and with a bit more time, that arc could’ve been even more impactful.
That said, not everything sat right with me. The first intimate scene between Wu Zheng and Yu Shi felt uncomfortable — especially once we learn that Yu Shi’s mental state is essentially that of a five-year-old, while Noah is twenty-eight. Even if Noah was present, the scene treads into ethically murky territory. It left me conflicted, and I wish it had been handled with more care.
I also felt that Yu Shi’s backstory lacked depth. For such a complex character, many important details about his past were left vague or not fully explained. A more thorough exploration of his trauma and how his personalities developed would have added emotional weight and clarity to the narrative.

Happy I watched it
Okay yes it has flaws and the DID resolution is a medical fantasy.. But who cares? The acting is amazing, the story original and it has stuck in my heart and head for some time. Do yourself a favor. Just watch it and make your own judgement.Both of the leads give subtle performances in what could have been a bad gay version of the Three Faces of Eve. Not the typical Thai BL factory produced fare. There is real heart here. I would love to see this series continue, if only to explain the second couple who have 2 minutes of screen time. And watch the lead couples journey going forward.

Just want to explain about Multiple Personality Disorder Age Freeze and Sex
Hi, person who might be dissociative here, aka, multiple personality disorder, though mine is hardly like the textbooks. I have a "child" personality among my three personalities. One is a child. One is an adult. One doesn't speak. Unlike most people who can't remember when they change personalities, mine have to talk to each other and coordinate together to make the body work. Most people would say, "my body", but for us, it's the body, a tool I've been using for a long time. I'm the lead personality and I mostly do the talking... I'm mostly a smart and "normal" person... that is to say people on the street would never guess in a million years that I have this type of disorder even if I told them to their face - they would say I just want attention and I'm "not special"... I know because they have already told me.However, there are times when my condition is undeniable, when I don't have control of my child person, who is, in almost all ways, a child. We understand that I'm an adult, she understands that we're living in an adult body and I understand that it's my job to protect her from the outside world because only together .... only together can we make it.
I think I'm really interested in love stories for two reasons - one it's a reflection of the healthy relationship dynamic I've created with myself, accepting each other, especially because unlike most other people, we have far less choice; two is the idea that somebody would ever truly be able to accept us.
All this makes sex Really weird and difficult, to the point that I stopped trying about 10 years ago. Let's talk about how sex works for people like me - disclaimer I have no idea if it's like this for any other people no matter their mental condition.
The child is emotionally a child, but she understands what sex is. Even before, when I was around 5, I was interested in sex. It's the condition and the causes that made natural sexual expression hard. For me, when I become more sexually interested in someone, which for me is the same as being more emotionally vulnerable my personality ... I'm at high risk for becoming the child. She controls most of the emotions and I try to filter them for her in a way that is acceptable for society. Most people are not really ok with an adult woman freaking out and having an uncontrollable "temper tantrum" in the middle of a courtroom or a library for example. It's also impossible for people to understand that I'm not a belligerent person but instead lack the resources... it's to hard to explain... it affects me sexually a lot.
From my experience it's not in any way like having sex with a child, the child and the adult both understand what's going on and are able to give consent... even with the personality issue it doesn't actually affect our greater use of logic or the actual developmental changes in our brain that leads to maturity. Rather, the intensity of the experience forces the child out and if we are being honest sexually it is usually the child who will take the lead and while the child is extremely emotionally vulnerable and protective of their feelings we don't lack an understanding of what is going on.
Consent - it's harder to consent in the child personality because of the forcing of children to obey. For me it's harder when someone I've already done something with naturally expects that we will keep doing it and I'm not sure I want to but I agree anyways because I feel that otherwise I have given them a false expectation - however, it's also likely that it was my lack of overall emotional maturity and development because both of those were in my early and mid-twenties and I hear those kinds of things commonly happen at that age. For me, my ability to consent or not is really not in question because what happens is, as I emotionally mature those things I learn become like walls around me. The child self can be told by me, the adult self. We have a lot of conversations with each other that are more like negotiations. When we fight we can't make choices or use the body. Basically in a situation with lack of consent (without drugs) the adult or third personality is likely to take the place of the child personality. The third personality only exists to harm others who are trying to harm us - so it's actually more dangerous for people to sexually be with me and I have to be careful of them.. careful of all the people in the relationship you might say - all of us and the person we are with who should (in theory) become like one of "us" to "me"... be as close to me as I am with myself you might say. Lol, be as close to me as I am to my other personalities - and I'm not sure I could accept a relationship without that level of communication.
In my experience as a possible multi with a child personality, if anything happens without the child's consent the s&*#()& will hit the fan immediately, the child will leave and one of the other two will arrive (probably the third one).... but a good sexual experience is most likely to be dominated by the feelings and subsequent behaviors of the child. So the child personality participating in the sexual experience is actually a sign of consent. Without the consent the child would leave, per se.
That's what the whole system is designed for, self protection. Multi's might come off as more vulnerable than others because we've been through some things and dealing with society is hard... but the whole multi system was built to emotionally protect ourselves and eventually to protect others from us... there are less issues with consent for "me" than for most people... because I've spent so much time learning how to consent and have boundaries with the two other people who actually live inside my skin - with whom I need to cooperate to accomplish the most basic tasks of eating, sleeping, bathing, and walking around.
While I haven't seen it all... I don't believe the age of Yu Shi's child self affects his ability to consent in the manner of a real child. For comparison Americans made a movie where a baby's brain was put into an adult woman's body and then men had sex with it - that is absolutely rape because the brain was actually a child brain and that means physical changes had not taken place in the brain yet that take place when children reach maturity which affects their ability to consent. Yu Shi had an adult brain with a child personality - not the same as a child brain.
Props for sensitivity and maturity in handling both gay and multi relationships and characters. Great cinematography and set design. Costuming was not bad... could have been better in places. Giving it a 7 for the confusing editing and I feel that since most people don't know how consent works with multis that some exposition about it would have been a good choice.

Original and intriguing
I really liked the originality in the plot, it's not this usual to watch a character with mental struggles, especially with DID.Wu Zheng is perfect ♡ he falls in love with Yu Shi, wants to help him and tries to understand both personalities, not running away from Noah for example but accepting him too and trying to befriend him.
It's a shame this has only 4 short episodes: it could have developed very well, and I could never stop watching them being happy and in love ♡
In episode 4 it was difficult to distinguish the different timelines, but at the end you understand the whole plot.
I'll rewatch this for sure: it's very short and the actors have a GREAT chemistry. Also, some lines will stay in my heart forever ♡

beautiful series
the series was short but even so it was a really cute and loving one. both of the male leads interactions with each other were cute & at times sexy with the intimate part which made me gasp. the story itself was a interesting one especially with the bipolarness and i loved how they worked through it.if your looking for a short bl series with a little bit of intimacy then this would definitely be the go to. it’s both sweet, heartwarming and hot all at the same time.
both actor’s really did a good job playing there character, this is the kind of bl’s i love to watch.

I usually don't write reviews for shows so short, but I couldn't help myself this time. Do not be swayed by the shortness of the episodes. It's all worth it. Obviously, longer eps would be so much more amazing and I need a S2 like yesterday! lol This is definitely a story I haven't seen before. I'm obsessed with things like emotional trauma of the brain so this was right up my alley with the split personality theme. As short as the series was, it was pretty well paced and everything had a reason to be there. I'm hoping for a S2 due to the "other characters" but we'll see. Until then.... Enjoy!P.S. Wu Zheng's awful shirts gave me anxiety lol

Very Good and Different Plot
This series should have been longer. This isnt dome silly collage sitcom feeling bl. Im so bored with that monotonous bs. This is for grown ups who actually care about plot and good acting. It really should have been longer its really good. This is a really unique series
Im just going to say it im a bl fan and Taiwan is making some of the best bls. They are written better a ted better and even when they have nc its plot driven not just put in a series to cover up bad plot or bad acting ,cough cough beoncloud cough,Anyway thsi was only a few episodes but they were all well written and well acted and I wish it had been 8 to 10 episodes because this story wa sjust different and i cnat say how because that will spoil too much but if you havent seen it watch it. It is very good but sadly too short.

Interesting plot but insufficient development
The story itself is an honourable effort put up to try a different storyline that talks about dissociative identity disorder that is not well-known (revolving around the topic of mental health).The storyline did cover some elements about the main role seeking help about this mental issues which I think is quite assuring, however the portrayal of the dissociative identity disorder is somewhat lacking.
At the start, the story did distinguish the two different personalities of Noah and Yu Shi through the different reactions when interacting with the other main lead. However, towards the end, it became hard to identify whether the main lead is Noah and Yu Shi, as the phasing out between Noah and Yu Shi is unclear and not well portrayed. The transition between the different personalities could be done in a clearer and distinguishable way.
The story did add in some flashback to fill in the gap on what happened, however whilst the flashback is somewhat short, the flashback and reality is not well differentiated and this makes it hard for me to catch up on the story development.
The bed or kiss scenes between the main lead also seems to happen randomly and does not go well with the flow of the story.
That said, if you wish to watch this series, watch it at your own discretion.

Short but Well Told
I'm still not the best at writing reviews but I loved this little drama so much I decided to write one anyway..This drama might have been short but they weren't "short" of anything in it.
The cast was perfectly chosen with the leads having chemistry that set my little soul on fire. Sometimes when things are short they tend to be lacking somewhere or another, but that wasn't the case with this BL. They managed to tell an amazing story, create in depth/precious characters and build tension within 4 short episodes.
Even the music was pretty and fit perfectly within the scenes.
I would recommend this short little BL to anyone who loves a drama that will make you feel every emotion within a short amount of time. You will not regret it.
