It was definitely an interesting drama, with a storyline I had never seen before, which made it refreshing for me. The chemistry between the main characters was very good, and Xiao Bao completely stole my heart. On top of that, there were some engaging supporting couples, though one of the relationships wasn’t really explored much. Overall, I had a great time watching, and it never once felt boring—so if I were to rate it purely in terms of entertainment and enjoyment, I’d easily give it a 10/10.But unfortunately, I also look at things through the lens of how well the storylines are wrapped up, the overall sense of the plot, and the wasted potential—and in that regard, I found a few negatives.
1. The person responsible for the accident involving He Qiao Yan and his family. This storyline could have been developed in a really interesting way, and while watching I even thought of a potentially better twist involving the Lin family—but that never happened. Instead, we suddenly found out about some biggest enemy of the Fe company, who was supposedly such a huge rival, yet had never once been mentioned since the very beginning of the show XD.
2. The Lin family storyline (including the bracelet). We know the bracelet plotline was almost wrapped up, but I still feel like it was lacking a lot. For example, Lin’s parents bribed employees to keep passing on information—but why? What came of it afterward? We never got answers. I was also curious about how the relationship looked later after those employees were taken away, etc. Sadly, we never found out.
3. The Lin Wei storyline. Technically a supporting plot, but still tied to the previous one. It was quite heavily developed for most of the drama, only for us to end up learning nothing about her panic attacks or her relationship with her family in the end.
4.The Yang Ruo Wei family plot. This was also brought up but never properly developed. Why was she so desperate to cut ties? What exactly happened in the past? And how did their relationship look afterward? None of that was answered either.

As much as I like this drama, there’s so many things that I dislike too.
Firstly, I would like to say that I would have preferred it to be a 36 episodes drama, where they’ll have enough episodes to explore the potential in the plot (also, I’ll then be able to see xiao bao more hahaha).Honestly, the way it touches on trauma & psychology entices me. It started out interesting, where we first see how xiao bao is unable to speak due to a childhood trauma. How the two leads’ fate entangles, meeting due to a misunderstanding and she’s just the right doctor for xiao bao, as he remembers her from all those years before.
Tbh, it’s kind of a slow burn, where the leads took 17-18 episodes to finally realise their feelings, it was so jot worth the wait where they get tgt for 2 episodes being all sweet and then break up again ==
Also, do they think that after giving us 4 episodes of heartbreak scenes, giving us 2 episodes of a few kisses and LDR can give us comfort???? After waiting for so long, all we get is an LDR & a wedding scene :’) lol Also!!! The way they patched back afterwards is just like???? Is this a joke to you??? LOL. If she’s going to like succumb to it so easily, why bother drag it out for 4 episodes.
And!!! they built up the plot of the accident so much just to gloss it over with a “pop”. Letting us know what actually happened with a very calm conversation??? wth i’m so disappointed… They could have done so much more about it, sigh.
And for the other two couples, ruo wei has been pushing wen gu away for so long just for them to end up tgt all of a sudden :’) and shi xiong and lin wei too :’) like tbh i liked them tgt, but like it all just happened so suddenly. There isn’t any development at all considering the fact that he just gave up on yiyue. How does one move on so fast considering the fact the he has been liking her for such a long time???
Xiao bao, Miles Wei & Hu Yixuan are the reasons that I’m able to continue watching this. They’re such a cute family, and I like how Yiyue is so patient and loving with xiao bao despite his trauma. It’s also cute how Xiao Bao loves yiyue and is constantly teaching is dumbdumb father about showing love and making his mum happy hahaha.
Miles Wei & Hu Yixuan’s acting are so good tbh, the way they portray the characters are good. Though I would really like to see more of their story.
The OST played throughout the drama really expresses the emotions of the scenes well, and the songs are very nice.
I would definitely rewatch Xiao Bao scenes, and the cute scenes between Miles Wei & Hu Yixuan but not for the plot towards the end :’)

Don't bother about reviews give it a try
Some one told me not to bother about comments.I did watch it. And liked it.
It was enjoyable.
IT'S ALL ABOUT HOW FAR WILL YOU GO
FOR A PERSON WHO IS ABLE TO TREAT YOUR PRECIOUS CHILD.
And 90% of us watched for XIAOBAO.
And with out a word ( or much words).
He did entertain us.
If watching for romance it comes very late. Very late.
The only motive for the leads to be together is for the kid.
But once you start living under one roof either you do get along,
fighting,
compromise or
fall in love.
Every thing happened here.
The ML was well off , calculative, taking advantage of situation or making use of people.
FL was smart finding quick and easy solution
Similarly like any person dealing with kids,
But she always get used up by cunning dad son
Duo (actually uncle and nephew).
What ever may happen between them
Both their lives and thoughts were centred around the child.
Next
FL parents, they after knowing about the kid they were so considerate , treated him as a kid and encouraging him.
(True to the saying a child matures faster with grandparents)
Then there is
LIN WIE
rudest in the drama
She is rude to everyone especially to ML.
she acts humble and assertive infront of elders
But she is lonely.
actually she is CUTE
quirky , thoughtful having dreams of her own.
She stands out.
Real example of how rich kids are manipulated.
The second leads are good.
Not to forget aunt. And brother Ning.
Show did not waste time on reveling mystery.
Finally it's Just
all about coincidence and being thankful.
also about
trusting that person in whose hand you leave your precious child.

It's ok
It's an ok drama but I'm very disappointed in the editing cause the clips I see was a fight scene with the male lead on YouTube but it's not in the drama I think that It would have made miles wei acting way better to see him like that then his cute lovely acting I already think he is a great actor but I would have loved to seen that scene I think it's a great drama to know that they didn't damage xiaobao by telling him that miles wasn't his dad other then that scene not being in the drama I thought that it was a all around good drama I would watch it again but as it being on my favorite list it didn't make it cause I really felt like that scene would have made the drama a whole lot betterWas this review helpful to you?
Totally worth the wait to finish this series in one go!
I waited so long for 2nd Aug (the airing of last episode) and it was definitely worth it. Despite trying so hard to avoid some clips of this drama on the net, I managed! Hahaha. So back to the review! I know most people is here for 小宝 (Lennon Sun) (partly here because of him too) but I’ve watched 魏哲鸣 (Miles Wei)’s dramas previously and I loved his acting and his appearance on variety shows! His acting has always been top notch and these cool/composed character always suits him. In this series, he has a hard time showing his emotions and all but you see how he slowly overcomes it which is pretty endearing.
The story is unbelievably cute, with the addition of 小宝 it made is XXX times better! Their interactions are super cute and their chemistry is superb!
The only packing part is some loop holes here and there within the story. Some business parts is a little too artificial to my liking. And a few parts of the story is a little underdeveloped too!
But in conclusion, this drama is cute enough to watch albeit cliche!

Clichéd Fluff Galore!
Hang onto your second-hand embarrassment because this lead couple will dish every cliche known to cdramas, in 24 episodes. If you’re looking for a deep, meaningful, logic-based drama that’s bursting with real-life moments... this drama is definitely not for you.The best part is the unrealistic fluff and nonsensical plot which makes the mush and chemistry between our ML, He Qiao Yan (Miles Wei), and FL, Qin Yi Yue (Hu Yi Xuan) that much better to watch. And of course, this wouldn’t be an Unforgettable Love review without the special mention of He Wei Fei played by Lennon Sun who, at his young age, did an outstanding job at being the adorable glue that not only held the main couple together but the entire drama itself.
If you can look past the loose ends and you’re looking for a drama that’s filled with almost every trope in the book with a supersized serving of adorable, then you should definitely take the time to watch this one.

Typical story but cuter than most dramas
Usually I don't make a review with these types of dramas, as they are pretty common and typical to watch. Of course there's always a past trauma but I think what made the trauma a little different was that it wasn't trauma from a childhood, it was more of a recent one so, personally is what I liked about it. Also another thing that made this a little different was that this involved a kid who craves for a mom love (which i found so cute). Honestly when I first watched this I was so surprised that he had a child cus it's very rare to see characters who already have a kid (until i found out it wasn't actually his child but his brothers but whatever). The FL was actually not too bad, the reason why I say this is because with these types of dramas some FL tend to be annoying. But for this one she was suitable to my liking. In terms of their relationship it was kinda getting me annoyed that they kept having an on and off relationship. I just wish they had better communication skills when they talk to each other, cus they misunderstood each other a lot of times. Like when she's mad he wouldn't know why and would solve it but she wouldn't say the reason and vice versa.Tbh I only watched this because of the ML. I first saw him in Perfect and Casual and I really liked it. He for sure did not disappoint me in this drama. He did a good job acting and same goes for the girl too!
Overall this drama is pretty good. It's been awhile since I last watched a Chinese drama, lately I've been watching Kdramas and haven't found any good ones yet. So this was a good drama.

It’s not the sweet love I was expecting
This was alright. Just alright..It was cast quite well and the story was nice. The leads were a bit annoying. And I really liked the best friend and I would’ve loved them to explore her a bit more because she was complex and had real star presence. I really wouldn’t mind a story from her perspective or a sequel. I would definitely watch it.
Poppet is really cute and I don’t know what it is about Chinese dramas but child actors I find, are really excellent. They generally don’t have a lot to do, like in this, but what they do, they seem to do really well unlike those stage school brats from North America, who I find way too cringe.
The love rival couple were a waste of time and I fast forwarded those scenes.
This was billed as a sweet love story. There are 24 episodes under 40 minutes each but we only got the sweet love from episode 23.
Overall, it was nice but utterly forgettable

Maybe a video edit of the drama would have saved me the time
The writing is so bad I could complain about it all day and the production isn't that good either. The "doctor" characters are no doctors and the plot is a strainer from all the wholes it has!But I did watch it all because the little boy is adorable and the concept of a previous marriage child was very intriguing but to my disappointment it wasn't used to it's full potential.
Overall: 7/10, not bad but isn't good enough, if it wasn't for the boy who carried the show and the acting of the characters which I loved, I would have rated it 5/10
Recommend: NO, just watch some edits on YT and save your time from the horrible plot and pacing.

Slow-paced drama
The drama is a relatively slow-paced drama, especially in the first half of the drama. It only really starts picking up after the truth behind the car crash was revealed. Overall, though, the drama was pretty good. Lennon Sun did a really great job portraying He Weifei (Xiao Bao), and Miles Wei's acting was also pretty natural. However, I wouldn't recommend rewatching the drama because of how slow the beginning is.Was this review helpful to you?
I want season 2

Please consider for season II
This is one of the best drama. The male and female leads chemistry are too good. I like that the FL has a strong character and not childish or too cliche. And the son is the cutest kid. Episode 18 confession is so touching and down to earth. Ost by Miles is so good.It contains some comedy, some serious scenes, making this drama really interesting.
I cant wait to watch who is behind the car accident.
The rich family's daughter is very irritating. I like that the ML takes control of his own love relationship and not let his family decides his fate.
