:)
this series will always hold such a special spot in my heart. i remember watching it for the first time, and i fell in love with seojoon and jiwoo. they are polar opposites, and i loved it.seojoon was extroverted and carefree, while jiwoo was introverted and particular. this is an enemies-to-lovers trope, which is one of my favorites.
i cant even count how many times i’ve rewatched it. it’s such a cute and heartwarming series. i love the plot so much, and i love the characters. not even just the main couple, but also the manager and ceo, i love them all so dearly.
woohyeon and kangmin have amazing chemistry. i could never get tired or bored of watching them. no matter how many times i rewatch this series, i still love it so much.
i liked the pacing. it wasn’t too fast, and it wasn’t too slow. whenever i rewatch this series, i usually watch the movie. the movie version makes the pacing feel more normal for some reason.
the director did a great job with this series. the ost is amazing too. “to my star” ost is by far the best bl ost i’ve ever heard, and i’m not being biased. i can feel all of the emotions. the love, the longing. and not to mention, it just reminds me of the series and seojoon and jinwoo, which makes my heart ache even more. it’s a very emotional ost.
i especially loved how jiwoo has gradually warmed up to seojoon. cold tsundere characters turning into sweet affectionate kind are always my favorite. i love him so dearly.
this is such an amazing series. i will always love it so much. this really set the standard for me.

Top 5
I absolutely loved this Korean bl, and food is involved with the male lead on which he is a cook! and the other is a celebrity. and that’s what makes it really interesting, it was a really interesting to watch and got you hooked immediately! And the cook in the show was not interested in the main which made it take longer in the show because he felt that their relationship was wrong but in the end he finally accepted his feelings for him :)I would definitely recommend this to new bl watchers!

They're my star.
I love them. Ji Woo and Seo Joon are my new comfort couple. They're cute, wholesome and heartwarming. They'd do anything for each other and I'm certain of that, I mean we're talking about Seo Joon who wanted to open a restaurant just for his chef and Ji Woo who was ready to loose Seo Joon just for him to not pay for the debts and wanted to solve the problem by himself. The story is simple but I think that's it's charm, there's no big plot for you to focus on, just two boys falling in love with each other and developing. I just wish we saw them being more lovey dovey. Was this review helpful to you?
Adorable but too short
This series/movie is really cute. It doesn’t give us enough time with our main characters. I never feel that invested with what’s going on. It doesn’t get good until the last 3-4 episodes, because again each one is far too short. Because of the short runtime characters are underdeveloped an the romance doesn't have much time to cook (no pun intended). There is a darkside to one of the main characters that is alluded to, but I would have liked to see more. In the end this is a nice comfort watch, but nothing that makes it really stand out.Was this review helpful to you?

Opposites Attract Romance
The story starts with a famous K-drama actor named Kang Seojoon who needs to rehabilitate his reputation because of untrue violence allegations. He has to live in an apartment with an introvert named Han Jinwoo who refuses to communicate with him. Jinwoo owns a restaurant that Seojoon is interested in. I don’t want to spoil anymore, so I’m just going to say what I disliked and what I liked. I personally really liked the chemistry between the two actors, and even enjoyed watching the BTS. Also the kissing scenes spared no expense. The only “fish kiss” was when they were drunk and the director definitely thought of that. The only flaw about this series is that the second one is actually better. But otherwise, 10/10 BL.Was this review helpful to you?
oh how I adore you tms
To My Star oh how I adore you.TMS is one of those stories that quietly gets under your skin and stays there.
It’s soft, it’s messy, and it’s painfully human in the best way. What I love most is how the characters feel real not just romantic leads in a drama, but actual people with flaws, fears, and histories that shape how they love.
Seo Joon and Ji Woo are total opposites, and yes, the angst can hit hard (very hard I infact cried), but it means something. Every misunderstanding, every moment of distance, every inch they take toward one another it all feels earned.
Their connection isn’t loud or dramatic just for show; it’s tender, awkward, and genuine and REAL.
You end up rooting for them not because they’re perfect, but because they’re trying.
The beauty of this story is that it never asks you to pick a side.
You just understand them.
Even when it hurts, you’re still loving them.
And that’s the magic between why I love their dynamic so much.
I’d give this 10 stars because it’s not just a BL romance it’s a story about finding someone who sees you exactly as you are, mistakes and all, and learning how to stay. The characters are lovable because they’re imperfect, and the journey they take feels like a quiet miracle.
one of my favourites highly recommend to anyone who’s starting on their bl drama journey! :)

Total Standout
To My Star is a rare gem in the world of BL dramas. It’s a series that manages to be both heartwarming and heartbreaking, all wrapped up in a visually stunning package.Season one is a delightful rom-com that introduces us to the charming and complicated world of Kang Seo Joon and Han Ji Woo. Their chemistry is off the charts, and the supporting cast is a perfect complement to the main story. The show's simplicity is its strength; it focuses on character development and relationships rather than convoluted plotlines.
The cinematography is absolutely gorgeous, and the soundtrack is a perfect match. It’s rare to find a drama that looks this good and sounds this great.
Season two takes a darker turn, exploring the complexities of relationships and the challenges of maintaining a long-term partnership. It’s a bold move that pays off, delivering a raw and emotional story that will stay with you long after the credits roll. The performances in this season are even more impressive, with the actors showcasing their range and depth.
While there are a few minor issues, like some slightly awkward English lines, they don't detract from the overall enjoyment of the series.
To My Star is a must-watch for fans of BL dramas, romantic comedies, and well-crafted storytelling. It’s a series that will make you laugh, cry, and everything in between.
If you’re looking for a show that will stay with you long after the final episode, look no further. To My Star is a true standout.

You should watch this series
It's been 5 days since I had finish watching this but I still cannot move on from this. This is so good and I'm literally begging for them to make a 2nd season for this. I think this is the best k-bl series I have watched. I like every scene especially the last scene in ep.8!! You should watch it to find out why I like that scene a lot.#ToMyStar #MustWatch

Me sorprendió positivamente.
