One of Most Overrated BL Shows
I have to say that this show is one of the most overrated BL shows ever. Just like 2gether, the reason people love this show so much is because of Ohm and Nanon and their portrayal of Pat and Pran. I just scratch my head when I see people saying "This was the best show of all time!", "OMG, I will never get over this show, it was the best show ever!" The show itself, with the storyline and writing, was soo basic and had no originality. Wouldn't be surprised if another show with the same premise and storyline shows up again soon. I did enjoying watching it though, but mainly just because the chemistry between Pat and Pran. Was this review helpful to you?

IS THE PERFECT BL’S EXIST ?
You think that a perfect BL doesn’t exist. That was me before I started watching this one. Bad Buddy The Series is indescribable. The acting, the storyline, the ost, the chemistry and everything that revolves around this series is insane. The storyline is fresh and it’s not something we’ve seen before. The kisses scenes are way too real to be call just acting. This relationship describes this quotes: he fell first but he fell harder. Can we be friday forever ? 10/10 WE NEED MORE BL WITH NANON AND OHM 🤍Was this review helpful to you?
Best bl series ever. Worth to watch
If you’re looking for the best chemistry between the actors. Then here it is. Bad buddy series will give you the best experience for bl series. They are good kisser too. The plot of the story is really really good. Everything is perfect. This series is definitely deserve an award . And i hope i can see ohm and nanon play in the next bl series again . Maybe they can remake “ dakaretai otoko” or maybe some psychology thriller genre with a happy ending. Hahaha I’m so sorry because their acting is really is d*mn good . I have no word left. I just want to keep praising them. My wish is i hope i can see them play bl series/movies again, and I’m pretty sure they will play it well too. They will nailed itWas this review helpful to you?

Give it a try! One of best enemy to lover trope!
[Just watch it guys! Some will like it, some will dislike but give it a go!! ] 🤗First of all, Bad buddy has an interesting storyline but what makes it amazing was their cast acting. Nanon & Ohm are great actors that able to convey the feels through their eyes, action & its not awkward at all. Perfect chemistry ✨
Next, about the story, their relationship begin as rivals because of their parent but deep inside Pran & Pat actually has something else going on, although Pat realise a bit late. Pat is really an interesting as a person who is understanding, straight forward & not afraid to speak up. Pran on the other hand has hesitation in terms of building those kind of r/shp & parent's acceptance.
Also, what I love about the show is no necessary third wheel person or the need for ex or something to interrupt their r/shp etc. Its just some misunderstanding but cleared quickly. The boys do bickering all the time but still love each other. I do find its a bit cringe about the fight among architecture & engineering students. Its important for the plot, so I dont mind.
*Spoilers*
The conflict was just a hurdle when the parent & society found out about them. Pat even suggested them to pretend break up but Im glad they didnt for real. Almost cried for real.
So, overall I give 9.5/10 and its one of my top 10 bl series! 💕

The Most Genuinely Honest Love Story Between Two Boys
I'll keep this short and sweet.I rated this show 10/10 because the acting and the chemistry between the two MCs was out of this world.
I am the type of person who's aware when actors are acting on screen and it often throws me out of the story. But with Pat and Prat, I was so immersed in their story that I believed they are real and actually love each other.
The acting and the humour were incredible.
The story is very well-written. I saw the intelligence in the script and the plot.
We also got a GL side story!
Overall, Bad Buddy had incredible pacing, a great script, and an amazingly believable love story between two talented actors that delivered it perfectly.
Rewatchable!!

It's just worth everything
This is litterally the only series I am actually rewatching and even still feeling deeply into it. Just for every single detail that i like to notice again, the music that litteraly makes my heart beat faster, everything. It's just a series that you can't miss if you like romance and drama, not just bl, it is pretty educative and endearing for anyone out there wanting to see some true love. When iI watch Bad Buddy, i know what true love feels like again.I just would recommend this to anyone, just give it a try, it's worth it. :)

Bad Buddy Made Me a BL Fan, Period
Okay, I know I’m super late to the party, but I finally watched Bad Buddy, and now I get why everyone’s been raving about it. It’s totally worth the hype. This was actually my first Thai BL series, and it immediately hooked me. It became my gateway into the world of BLs (and now I can’t stop watching, lol). One thing I realized: I’m definitely a sucker for enemies-to-lovers tropes, and Bad Buddy delivers that so well.
The storyline is a perfect mix of drama, romance, comedy, and a dash of action, never a dull moment. I loved watching Pran and Pat’s relationship grow, especially all the sneaking around behind their friends' backs. It added just the right amount of tension and humor.
Also, can we talk about OhmNanon’s chemistry? They were so natural together. You can really feel the connection and emotion in their scenes. It didn’t feel forced at all, they were just that good.
Overall, the writing was solid and consistent from start to finish. It’s funny, heartfelt, and truly well-done. Honestly, I wish I had watched this sooner, but better late than never!

GOAT BL. No bl will ever top this one
AHHHHHHHHHHH. SONT EVEN GET ME STARTEDDDDDD.One of the first bls that i watched and I’m so glad that this exists. Can’t express how much I LOVE THIS DRAMA. It’s TOO GOOD. The STORY, PLOT, THE ACTING, THE CHEMISTY, THE MUSIC. You have to watch if you like watching shows don’t even have to be a bl fan that’s how good it is. Feels real. So much chemistry I felt like I was intruding. Nanon and Ohm are Outstanding actors they have really outdone themselves with this series. P aof really is an amazing director so glad for him. I really fell in love with this series and ship. The music is so good, nanons songs are so raw and real. I’m a sucker for unrequited love and enemies to lovers and friends to lovers and this series is so perfect. I can’t ???. Can’t compare to anything. My number ONE BL SERIES. Best BL ever. I love it so much???
Honestly such a 10/10.. The acting? 100. The story? 100. The music???? 100000😡😡😡😡 the rewatch value?? 10000000😤😤😤. This is prbavly my most rewatched bl. I cannot get enough if it.

A BL Drama for the Queers and such a fresh breath! Sets the bar high for the industry.
23.5 is airing currently and after watching the 1st episode, I found out that Milk & Love (the two actresses who play the lead couple in 23.5) are also a side GL couple in Bad Buddy! I didn’t even know there‘s a lesbian couple in BB, when I added the series to my watch-list a year ago.Bad Buddy was really good actually. I was surprised by how good – I had not expected such a fresh breath in many aspects!
It often reminded me of SOTUS & SOTUS S... But it’s more of an “updated”, more modern version of S. It’s like what S & SS could’ve been, if homophobia hadn’t been such an issue back then.
Which is nice. S had been (and maybe still is) a classic in the (Thai) BL fandom, but essentially is very outdated already. BB shows how much the world/genre has changed – for good. How much we’ve grown. A new, better generation started.
While most BL Dramas are made for straight women, this series feels like it’s been made for us, the Queer community.
PatPran’s relationship is so healthy, so natural and just happy vibes. They’re not together because the “kisses are hot”, but because they’re each other’s safe space. All the physical stuff that comes with most romances is more like a side bonus for them, but not the main reason for the relationship.
They communicate and respect each other’s boundaries. They fight for happiness and don’t let jealousy get the better of them. (Thus resulting in plot points being cleared quickly, without unnecessary dragging.)
Not only that, it also calls the toxicity of other BL Dramas out, especially those that are very heteronormative & stereotypical. Plus it shows how to do it better. Some quotes as an example:
1.) “I can’t say exactly when. I don’t even know for sure when I changed. Maybe I’ve liked men for so long, but I just realized it.” – Pat
“I thought you’d be like: ‘I’m straight but Pran is the only guy I like.’” – Pat’s sister
2.) “Does calling me a wife make you feel superior?” – Pran to Pat
And finally: SWITCHES!!!
Not only was it not heteronormative, it also had no homophobia.
Just like Only Friends, a world where queerness is simply normal and not very special anymore. That was for example shown when a guy had a crush on a girl, but that girl was on a date with another girl and he realized he was totally third-wheeling, so he stopped pursuing her and accepted his “heartbreak”.
Generally, female characters are treated well.
I’ve mentioned it in my review of Only Friends already, but even though BL Dramas have women as its target audience, female characters are usually treated the worst, for some reason.
Not here.
Except for Pat’s attitude towards his sister, there was no misogyny present at all and females are actually respected. As you can see in the example above, GL isn’t seen as “girls being girls” either.
Parents actually seemed like parents.
Writing a realistic & natural family dynamic is apparently difficult everywhere in the world. But gmmtv managed to write the parents as people, not just characters who have a certain role in the MCs’ lives. Conversations felt natural, not scripted, and their dynamics felt real.
The “rivals to lovers” trope was also really well done. Even though they were more like frenemies, their rivalry didn’t magically stop once they started dating. Their bickering totally continued and they used that to their advantage in the relationship (e.g. by pushing each other through competing).
I loved the comedy.
Just like in Only friends, no one served as the comedic relief, everyone had funny scenes. Scenes that went along with the story and weren’t forced in. Scenes that felt natural, not written. Scenes that will still make you laugh even after re-watching it for the 10th time.
The actors' chemistry is just as wonderful as in Only Friends. Maybe even better, since PatPran’s relationship was much more explored on the romantic level, than any of the couples in OF.
~
Mixed feelings:
Upon first watching, I wasn't much a fan of Pat's personality, but that's mostly because of his attitude and the way he was treating his sister (Pat's family dynamic generally is rather toxic, compared to Pran's). But he warmed up to me in the 2nd half and especially when he was using that "charm" of his to help Pran out. Plus, Pran didn't let Pat win as easily, so there's also that. They balance each other out and you can see why the universe paired them up.
At first, the reason for the feud seemed pretty anti-climatic. The way it was built up and given it’s a drama, you’d expect something more “extreme”, more devastating.
But after re-watching and imagining myself in the person’s situation, who was the most hurt by the reason, it is actually pretty dramatic. I guess the problem was just how they revealed it, that made it seem like it’s not really worth being so upset about it, but if you really think about it and put yourself in the shoes of the person (and think back 30-40 years, times were different), it gets more understandable. And totally valid.
The zero waste village was rather contradicting. As an environmentalist I do like the idea and am glad that gmmtv uses their popularity to talk about these things. However, on the other hand, the amount of plastic they've used and continued to use, as well as promote brands that are just plastic...
~
Overall I love it, it's become my favorite of gmmtv.
I watched it on the 12th March 2024 the first time and re-watched the entire series just one day later. I'm swooned and can't help to come back to them.

This is one of the best dramas I’ve watched
So at first I thought Bad Buddy would be your typical BL drama but boy was I wrong. First of all I want to talk about what a phenomenal actor Ohm and Nanon are they portrayed Pat and Pran so well. I felt every emotion they were feeling, I loved that pran had already liked pat so it made the story more interesting adding to the fact that they were considered enemies. In episode 5 we see pat and Pran kiss but what I loved about the kiss was how well it expressed what the both of them were feeling for each other. I also loved the continuation to episode 6 when pran started avoiding pat because he was scared of what the consequences would be if they started dating, their friends and families hate each other so how could they😔 but I’m excited to see where the story leads too. As of right now this has become one of my top 3 fav BL and that’s saying alot since I’ve watched so many 👏👏❤️Was this review helpful to you?

So Conflicted - Honest Opinion
After watching this show I realized that the only thing that really sold this show was the chemistry between Pat and Pran, thanks to Ohm and Nanon. If they would have put two other random actors, instead of Ohm and Nanon, in this show everyone probably wouldn't be as enthusiastic about the show as they are now. Take away the chemistry between the leads and you have a basic, uninteresting, bland storyline that we've seen over and over again. There was nothing special about the writing, direction, or cinematography in this series. With that being said, I still enjoyed watching it because I loved seeing the relationship between Pat and Pran. Its just that when you take a step back and look at all the aspects of this show, it isn't a masterpiece by any means. Was this review helpful to you?
This is plain Bromance
After watching ATOTS, I was super excited for a new series by Aof. The cinematic masterpiece that ATOTS was, it is not surprising to expect the best storyline with heartfelt characters in his next project. The trailer was promising and it had the potential to top the charts. Family enemies, uni enemies turned secret lovers? That's a troupe we all love. Started off quite strong with all the story buildup and chaos, turned to - wait what?I commend Nanon's acting to beautifully portray his longing and hidden love for Pat. Ohm's acting was good, no doubt. But as an ML? Pursuing Pran as a romantic interest? For the love of god, I hope you know the difference between platonic and romantic love. There were scenes which were clearly intimate that showed the 'romantic' part of it. But majority of the other scenes is just bromancing. Two long lost brothers who were separated at birth and were enemies are now reliving their brotherhood.
I took a pause and kept it on hold for a while to read others' reviews to understand if everyone else felt the same. Not surprisingly this was a hit and no one had shared their thoughts in this light. Started watching it again trying to make the best out of the chemistry shown on the screen but I just couldn't proceed with the portrayal of this supposed romance coming off on the screen as two bickering brothers loving each other a lot.
I like Ohm and Nanon's acting, I really hope they get better projects. Not sure if the ship didn't work or maybe it was the character setting they had. Wish they had better platforms to show their talents.
