A masterpiece!

Brilliant from start to end! This series was truly a masterpiece in all the most minimal details.

First of all, the cinematography was outstanding, stunning and breathtaking. As someone who's pretty obsessed with films, this one has such an unique visual. There are so many shots engraved in my mind; I'm extremely pleased with this aspect of the series.

The acting and performance was beautifully done and captivating. The cast was absolutely perfect; everyone did such a fantastic job in portraying their role. The chemistry between the main leads is incredible, too, and truly conveyed such a tender, passionate and delicate romance.

All in all, this series has everything. An intriguing premise, a carefully thought-out plot, rich characters with deep and complex development and so realistically human. I've never been this in love with a series before. It's so worth the watch. SeanWhite's romance was so beautifully made as well; so achingly tender and raw and the real definition of Finding Your Person.

Please give this a chance if you haven't. It's such an underrated gem. It treats important social and political issues with respect and the delicacy it deserves, without moving on from also being a deeply layered series. The LGBTQ+ representation here was so wonderfully made as well. There are scenes that made me feel seen, understood and represented in a way no other series has done.

Truly recommended! A thriller that managed to tell a beautiful romance and the story of amazing characters and the society we live in. My favorite thai series so far! :)

Not me, not you, but everyone....will love this??

This series was DROP DEAD GORGEUOUS. It's a must-watch from me because you'll miss out on a lot if you don't watch it.
Let me tell you, every character, ship, and situation is simply amazing and well-portrayed. I'm not going to mention the name of the person who put Black in a coma, cuz the fun is in discovering it yourself.
Let me give a quick summary though,
Black was one day beaten up and put into a coma and White(who had just returned from Russia) had received a call from their childhood best friend Todd(Sing Harit slayed this role) saying what had gone down. Now, White is interested in discovering who had done this to his brother and thus acted as him. He found out that his brother was a part of a motorcycle gang, and found it hard to adjust to it. As suspicions grew, the relationship between Sean(the one who hated him the most in the gang)and Black(White) grew together. What's most surprising is that the one who had put Black in the coma condition was the one closest to him after all!
Everything about this series has you on the edge. And, lemme assure you, I won't be the only one crying when Black broke Sean's heart. One thing I am wondering though is what happened to the main deal of the entire series, which was bringing down Tawi. I'm curious as to what happened to the man, but it was never revealed at the end of the series. P.S. Nobody cared about him.
The actors were impeccable. Each one of them slayed every role. P'Gun did so well as both Black and White, but one thing that not many people talked about was how well P'Sing did in his role. He slayed it, showing the real pain he felt in his eyes and showing the love and care he felt for Black.
This is pretty much all I can say. Everything about this series stands out and is breathtakingly beautiful.

Not me, Not you, But everyone

Let me start by saying this: I didn’t touch my phone once while watching Not Me. No fast-forwarding, no distractions—just me, completely immersed from start to finish. And if you know how I usually watch dramas (a little skip here, a little scroll there), you’d know how rare that is. That alone should say something.

The story follows twins White and Black, who were separated as children. White was raised abroad while Black remained in Thailand. Years later, White returns only to suddenly feel a mysterious pain—soon learning that Black is in a coma after a violent attack. To uncover the truth, White disguises himself as his brother and infiltrates Black’s motorcycle gang, suspecting someone in the group betrayed him. But as he dives deeper into Black’s life, White finds himself entangled in political resistance, personal awakening, and an unexpected emotional connection with the very people he once viewed as strangers.

What I Loved:

The Social Commentary: This drama didn’t just mention injustice—it held a mirror up to it. From systemic corruption, class disparity, and police brutality, to the internal guilt of privilege (especially shown through White’s monologues), Not Me tackled complex topics with honesty and boldness. It never spoon-fed solutions, but made you question the world you live in.

Romance That Wasn’t the Whole Plot: The romance—especially between White and Sean, and Yok and Dan—was powerful because it wasn’t the focus. It didn’t feel forced or tokenized. It felt like real people connecting through shared struggle. Their love stories bloomed naturally within the story, not because of it. And that made all the difference.

Gun Atthaphan (White/Black): Gun absolutely blew me away. This was my first time seeing him act and—wow. I genuinely had to check if the twins were played by different actors. He brought so much nuance, pain, and personality into both roles. You could feel the contrast between White and Black not just in dialogue but in posture, eyes, even breathing. And then to top it off, he also played White pretending to be Black?? The layers!

Female Characters That Weren’t Just Props: Eugene and Name were written like real people. No exaggerated reactions, no weak plot devices—they had depth, strength, and stories of their own. I loved every scene they were in. Even Nuch, who had less screen time, made a lasting impression—especially with her line: “Law is a door to justice, not justice itself.”

The Whole Ensemble Was Strong: Gumpa, the emotional anchor of the group, stole my heart. He was everyone's protector—but made me wonder, who protects him? Yok’s story was deeply moving, especially the portrayal of his relationship with his mute mother and the added layer of how society treats people with disabilities. And that heartbreak when he saw Dan’s betrayal? Gut-wrenching.

Tod and Black’s Relationship Deserves a Whole Spin-Off: Friends to enemies to… possibly friends again? Their story was so layered. They both wanted change, but walked different paths—Tod believed in changing the system, Black wanted to burn it all down. Their conflict was philosophical and emotional, and the coma twist? Brilliant.

Black, in His Own Right: Though absent for much of the drama, when Black appeared, he made it count. A character with a hard exterior and a soft, fiercely loyal heart. The way he left Eugene to protect her, how much he clearly cared for his brother—it all showed how human he was underneath the rage.

The Twin Bond: The special connection between White and Black added mystery and heart. That line in the finale—when Black says maybe he doesn't feel angry at Sean anymore because White loves him? Chills. It was both tender and thought-provoking.

Realistic Aesthetics: One thing I really appreciated was how natural everyone looked. The makeup was subtle and real—you could see pores, scars, skin texture. No beauty filters, no overly glossy perfection. It made the characters feel like people you could actually meet, and it suited the raw tone of the show perfectly.

Cinematography & Soundtrack: The camera work was gorgeous. Natural and unpolished in the best way, with stunning shots that highlighted the grit of the story without glamorizing it. And the soundtrack? Perfect. Every piece matched the mood without being overused or intrusive. It added to the scenes rather than overpowering them.

A Few Tiny Critiques (Because I Gotta Be Honest):

I wish the group had shown a bit more care about what happened to Black. It felt slightly under-addressed considering how central he was to their cause.

The constant product placement (PPL) pulled me out sometimes. Especially when the show was making such raw, anti-establishment statements—it felt a little contradictory.

And if we're being realistic they would have been either dead or arrested before the drama even started. There were some plot holes now and then too.

But did it ruin anything? Not at all. The show still delivered one of the most daring, powerful narratives I’ve seen in a long time.

Not Me was not just a drama—it was a statement. It dared to be political, queer, and emotionally complex all at once. It told the story of resistance, love, guilt, identity, and change in a way that felt real.

It wasn’t just good. It was important. At least for me, and won't be forgetting about it soon.

on a side note, I'm going to pretend the "flying" scenes didn't happen, because my rating would've been so much lower for how cringe that scenes were!

THIS IS YOUR SIGN TO START WATCHING NOT ME! (if you haven't yet!)

This is my first time writing a review as the series is still in the ongoing stage but I couldn't just help myself!
I am a kind of a veteran bl fan myself and oh boy! have a come across a series which is just as splendid? NEVER.

To begin with, the plot sets off on a serious note and it's upto the main lead to uncover the cause of all the problems he finds himself amidst of! Every single character introduction is on point and it is surely not an exaggeration to say that all the actors know exactly where they are getting at with their respective roles!
Personally, I expected this to be another show where the main lead and his friends play hero and solve the burning issues with pure bravado alone but I was wrong.

This series is peppered with just the right amount of social and emotional themes. When I say reality smacks you in the face at every turn, I MEAN IT! and here's where my personal perspective comes in (again) as an Asian myself, the social and national events being tackled couldn't get more relatable. Ableism? check. LGBTQIA inequality? check. Capitalist monopoly? check. Social class division? check.

I cannot ramble enough about how good this series is, you'll just have to watch and find out by yourself :)) Though offgun deserve their fair share of applause, they aren't the only ones who steal the show bc Mond and First are doing an amazing job as well!!! To wrap this loooong review up, let me tell you the OST is to die for! Every single episode has a beautiful track to match the mood <3

[TL;DR Highly recommended series that belongs on the list of 'never miss it'! No graphic violence, so far so good! If you are someone who strongly believes in "Don't let the revolution die", you'll throughly enjoy this!!!! trust me >:-)]

Just watch it

I will do a proper review when this is over. But I'm recommending it entirely right now (as of episode 6).

Pacing? Excellent. Acting? Superb. Cinematography? Perfect. Story? Captivating.

Seriously, watch it. It's just so good.

I'm just gushing about it in my head so much. It's too good. It's a bit heavy topic wise but it is pretty much the only BL that actually explores important issues at all. I hope they delve deeper cause it's still a bit surface level and strawman-like but it's doing a great job with what it has so far. And the plot itself is genuinely exciting and makes my toes curl with the tension every week. I wonder how much this might get close to the real events of the protests in Thailand.

You can see so much work must have gone into it and so far it's paid off with the work they've produced. Really hope the quality sticks until the end. I'm so curious about what will happen that the story pops into my head randomly at different times during the week, in the best way of course. ;)

(btw this is coming from someone who has not especially enjoyed OffGun's previous work when they are paired. So I'm not a shipper who might be a bit biased (no shade if you are of course), in fact I kind of went in with a lot of doubts. So happy to have been proven wrong. ;))

PS rewatch rating is neutral cause it's not finished.

Edit as of episode 7: No longer surface level or strawman like. This series is excellent. Complex and well-paced with great characters. I am just in love with it all.

Masterpiece

This series is the best series from GMMTV so far (according to me) ! P'Nuchy did a great job, the plot is so addictive, all actors are talented but Gun made it to the next level playing Black/White, two different personalities ! I was so into the story that I didn't even expect a sweet love couple. Even the womens role are important in the plot. the music choice by P'Nuchy is also very interesting to understand every emotions they create. I have watched all episodes a thousand times and I wait every sunday for the next one.

this drama truly deserves more love and attention!

let's be honest, every time i recommend this drama to someone they always come back saying they loved it, and as they should. it is so good!! i have not met a single person who didn't like this drama, and its obvious why.

the acting is amazing, offgun really knocked it out the park this time round, and the supporting cast like first and mond as yok and gram also did fantastic. the story line here sends such an important message and it is conveyed in such a beautiful way that leaves you wanting more.. i watched this all in one sitting the first time i watched it.

the ost is beautiful too, i could not stop listening to the theme song.

overall this is such an impact-full yet beautiful drama that sends a strong message, and i hope anyone who decides to watch this can love at as much as the rest of us, as i believe it is truly underrated and does not get as much love and attention as it deserves (although i could just be a bit biased) 10/10

This is the new STANDARD

I wasn't 100% sure what my overall rating would be but as I was ticking off all the marks, I realised that everything was near perfection and deserves a 8.5.

The music in this show was incredibly diverse and although I appreciate Thai artists being used in Thai shows, the fact that they used English music kind of made it a deeper experience for me. I guess you don't realise how much the lyrics of a song makes a difference when it plays in the background. You unintentionally relate those lyrics to what is happening in the moment. For this reason, the music was a 9.5/10.

The acting and plot was phenomenal and original. There wasn't a boring moment in this show and it really hit all the right markers.

The scene where Yok is doing a nude portrait of Dan is one of my favourite scenes in the show. It was so vulnerable and really set this precedent for BLs to follow. Instead of it focusing on steamy scenes and desires, this show actually showed a deeper meaning which was perfectly worded when Dan said 'I feel like I'm confessing my sins'. 10/10.

Also, the relationship between White and Sean was so naturally introduced. No confusion in what they were feeling, no regret or worry. They just accepted it as naturally as one should accept feelings for another. They didn't hide it from anyone and were so open to what they were feeling. Also, I love that both of them made sure eachother wanted the same thing. Basically, I love the CONSENT.

Great representation of the qommunity (get it.. haha queer community... qommun... anyways you get it). We had some beautiful raindbow flags in some scenes which I love <3

However, it wouldn't be a fair review if I didn't touch on the negatives...
I was a little disappointed with how they reintroduced Black into the story once he woke up. He kind of left the gang after he woke up which just doesn't make sense since he's the one that started it. If anything, I would have liked him to see that what White had done was working better than his plan but it was a little disappointing how he then continued on his own.

The ending was a little disappointing as well. They spent the entire show trying to take down Tawi but in the end, all of their efforts seemed to just be a symbol for society to stand up. We didn't have an epic scene where Tawi got taken in by police which I was looking forward to.

Also, I didn't fully understand why Dan all of a sudden changed his mind and went to arrest them. Like I get that someone powerful told him that he needs to step in line but AS IF that would be enough to scrap all your efforts and the effort of someone you supposedly love.

Not me is level god series ?✨✨

#NotMe #NotYou #ButEveryone ❤️
⚠️ Important note : I wished that not me didn't end 🥺 which I rarely feel towards a serie. ⚠️
First of all I am so stunned and amazed with this story and the way GMMTV never fails to boost my expectations 🥰
I am so proud of my GMM boys for their acting skills and the way they make you feel like you are one of the characters in the series! All thanks to the screen-writer, directors and producers for giving birth to this AMAZING serie. 🙏🏻
As you can see my ratings are all 10/10 and if I could give it a 10000000/10 I would, along with all the awards in the industry out there because it deserves it and more ✨
🏵️ All along the series you will feel a sensation of " I do belong there ! " " I want to be one of them " etc etc
🏵️ Starting with the actors and the way they skillfully delivered every single emotion & action in the serie is what makes me proud of how talented my GMM boys are 🥰
Specially GUN a big shout out to this talented young man !!! Doing double role is really a very difficult job to do ! But he nailed it effortlessly !!!!! I adored every single scene he showed at specially the twins ' ones, that at a certain moment I really was like " maybe he has a twin brother irl and he is actually acting with him ! "
A big big BIG applaud to GUN for real 👏🏻👏🏻❤️
🏵️ It was nice to see baby Tumical in such a genre as well , he nailed his role perfectly 🥰 the way he can make you smile, cry, laugh, angry along with him is unbelievable 👏🏻
🏵️ I really like all GMMTV's dramas ( as I am GMMtist since I first started watching thai dramas) but NOT ME IS JUST LEVEL GOD DRAMA ✨ the story is beyond beyond beyond perfect, the problems it touched and the way it showed the solutions and motivation is really so good , the way they delivered it as well is something magical 👏🏻🥰
Whenever I say this is the best drama GMM has produced they be like " Nah baby just wait and see " ✨
🏵️ THE OSTs OH MY GOD THE OSTs, every single OST/song that has been played in this series takes you above the clouds with every single beat and word you feel like flying up in the sky from the opening song to the last song played. I have never watched a serie with such a perfect choice of songs, they know exactly what they are doing and which song to play during the scene to make you even more immersed in it !!!! The choice of the OSTs is really what made the serie even more perfect 👏🏻❤️❤️❤️
🏵️ Last but not least, how i wished for more episodes because 14eps are really not enough, wishing for season 2 and 3 and 4 for such a perfect work to have just one season is really painful 🥺❤️❤️
🏵️ We got sick of the lovely dovey series that become copy paste ! This genre is what we need ! Series like Not me is the real work of art 👏🏻❤️
Wishing for more series like this 🙏🏻🥰🏵️

this needs the best director award!!

one of the best bl's made till now!!!!
this is exactly what i expected from GMMtv, everything was just a chef's kiss. the way the scenes were directed gave a whole lot of emotions to the drama.
..........................................................................................................................................
#genre: enemies to lovers, twin brothers, cop and vigilante, political.
#things that could've been done:
1) i do feel they should've put more scenes where black and white are bonding.
2) a special episode with 6 months later plot would've given a better closure to the characters.
3) a proper conversation between eugene and black about him explaining everything to her
..........................................................................................................................................
overall a great drama and worth watching!!!!!

Amazing series with some small flaws

STORY
Generally speaking, I really liked the way Not Me manages to maintain a level of suspense and excitement for every single episode (especially around ep 7-10 iykyk). There are also some plot twists, which were mostly executed well, except one, which was really predictable (= Todd). I also really appreciated the themes of justice and activism, which are portrayed in a really multifaceted manner.
I loved Sean and White's relationship. Their first kiss was executed perfectly. I loved the trust falls. It broke my heart to see Sean getting hurt by Black.
However, I personally didn't really like Dan and Yok's relationship, because it just started off for me on the wrong foot. I hate the "love at first sight"-trope. Especially because they really just had ONE sight, and Yok was immediately obsessed. Come on, you could've done better than that XD. Other than that, I generally liked the direction that their relationship was moving and was sympathetic towards Yok when Dan betrayed him, but they failed to really capture my heart due to the way they "suddenly" fell in love.
I thought that Gram and Eugene's romance was really sweet and a good dilemma for White to figure out while trying to make the right decisions as Black.
I loved the way you really felt how White and you as the viewer became more comfortable in the gang and found a new family in them. When Black eventually wakes up, you immediately feel sorry for White for losing the life that he has built for himself.
All in all, an amazing story with a few flaws: 9/10

ACTING
The cast did a good job. Especially Gun did well at portraying White and Black as two completely different characters. 10/10

MUSIC
The soundtrack is perfect. The music during the first Sean and White kiss scene really stood out to me (owe, owe, owe, Oweeee). 9/10

REWATCH VALUE
The series is amazing, and I can see myself coming back to it one day to experience it all again. There isn't really any big foreshadowing to plot twists that you could notice on your rewatch, thus "only" 8/10.

Masterpiece!

This show is an absolute masterpiece. Everything about this show from the acting to the storyline is just amazing. It covers so many important and influential topics beautifully which I've never seen any other BL do. As a member of the lgbtq+ community, this show truly made me feel seen. The sound track in this show is amazing and unique as they don't only use thai songs but english ones as well. The actors did an amazing job portraying their characters especially Gun. There is never a dull scene and the chemistry among the main 2 couples is so good.
