I can't give this one to high of a score, I liked it enough but Mork's character was just to much. Why would they write him that way. They made him love for Pi creepy... maybe that's not the right word to use, but I hated they way he kept insisting and insisting and ignored Pi's feeling about how he felt, just because you thought he liked you doesn't give him the right to act the way he did, He even ignored when Pi asked him to leave him alone. It's felt like he didn't love Pi, he just wanted him not caring how Pi felt as long as Mork was happy. He was WAY to aggressive and forward with how he did things. Oh lets not forget him egging on the MorkPi fanpage shippers, that was SO VERY much not cool, especially after Pi made it VERY clear he was uncomfortable with it.

He liked that people thought they were together, but didn't care how Pi felt, even after they made a new page, not until Pi made it VERY clear he was uncomfortable with it and didn't feel safe. Oh one more thing, the whole thing with his friend and acting like a couple to get Pi jelly... that was SO UNCALLED for, come on man, I get the point of why, but WHF man, you like him but you don't want to give him any time to think for himself you need to use your bitch of a friend who was VERY annoying and who should not have been there, she was no one to been seen because but bam there she is... all touchy feely with you... yea that's normal alright. She was point less and in the end she screws you over... HA!

I could go on a bit more, but I think this is enough, I don't want to say what I didn't like about Mork…

There were good thing in here, like the comedy, I had a lot of laughs in here, even a few feels from Pi. Nan, is also a good part in this series, even if we don't get to see him much. Pi's brother Duean, he was so stupid it was funny, but he has so much love for his brothers its sweet... Though his guy Meen is annoying, at first WAY to much, but he got better.

Even though there was a lot I didn't like in this series, I still thought it was pretty good for what it was. I had good laughs throu-out it so that may up for some of the bad.

Sutthaya ruined the show for me

The story was really good in my opinion, classic story line, enemies to lovers trope and all. If someone would summarize it for you,
You wouldve thought its another clichè story, always the same but i guarantee you, It's not.

The way they depicted the stalkers/shippers were really good too; some dramas like to debunk them as fans when sometimes they act really obsessive and sometimes know about private matters as if they have been watching the character up close. But the way Pattawee actually faced the two admins of the fan account and clarified that he was unsafe and uncomfortable, I'm glad the authors acknowledge such an issue.

The actors depicted their characters very nicely, you can tell their emotions and feelings just by looking at their face and most of the time, eyes

one thing that bothered me is Sutthaya, if you've watched the show, you know He didnt defend Pattawee against those commentors and even giving those people a chance to attack him by stating that he likes Pattawee in the Live.
He also never changed even after the incident, I had expected that he would try to understand why Pattawee felt really defensive and unsafe towards people knowing about their relationship but No.
Some people may not realize this but he was really manipulative towards Pattawee and it really showed toward the ending where he and other "friends" (aka those intrusive shippers) celebrated Sutthaya's B-day.
When Pattawee ran away after Sutthaya smeared icing in his face in a flirting manner, Sutthaya tried to talk to him and I thought he would finally understand Pattawee's feelings but no he manipulated him into confessing their relationship in front of those very obsessive shippers that CLEARLY attacked Pattawee since his shipping incident, invalidating the fact that he was brutally bullied not long before this whole story happened.
You would love Sutthaya because of his persistance toward the person he loves but the persistance would turn into a "silence means no" type of manner once you get into the later episodes

in conclusion, everything was nice except for Sutthaya for me

Not as great as I hoped, PondPhuwin can do so much better

This show has 1) a decent line-up, 2) a premise that sounds promising although slightly cliched, and 3) a slightly quirky vibe. And yet, it somehow doesn’t quite live up to any of these three expectations.

Nan, played by Mix, is terribly underwhelming after his A Tale of Thousand Stars performance. This is through no fault of Mix, though, since it was the character that came off as rather bland and lacking in personality, rather than Mix’s acting being the problem. As for PondPhuwin, they are a decently compatible onscreen pair but FUTS was probably not their time to shine yet.

Fish Upon The Sky skims some fairly interesting themes – self-esteem issues from being an outcast in school, cyber anonymity and bullying, the ethical boundaries of shipping a couple, and coping with scrutiny in general. It’s a shame that the show only manages to bob along the surface without really diving into any of these.

Watch and make your own opinion

About the MLs - Pond and Phuwin make such a cute couple. I can't agree with those who think they don't have any chemistry. In my opinion it was undeniable. There's something captivating about Pond's appearance, I literally had butterflies in my stomach whenever he approached Phuwin.

Storywise - Honestly I didn't get it why Pi was refusing Mork so badly when he obviously made his heart skip a beat. Mork was so caring about Pi but the latter just kept pushing him away in too rude way. Sometimes I wished someone better for Mork just because I hated how harsh Pi's dismissive attitude was. I get that he didn't see him in romantic way back then but hey dude - being a little bit polite won't kill you. I admired Mork for his patience of a saint with Pi. These Mork's words say it everything: "Can you please stop caring about other people and just care about me?"

Btw the fujoshi elements in Thai BLs annoy me like hell! I can't hear their "Oiiiii" anymore. If this really exists in Thailand I am sorry for those guys who are actually their "preys" only for the sake of number of likes and followers.

As for the second couple - there was nothing special what would catch my attention. Neo and Louis are both cute themselfs but as a couple... I don't know. But that is solely my opinion.

The comedy part was too much sometimes. Duean's screeching voice tore my ears, couldn't he just speak in normal voice? If that was supposed to make him look cool it was not at all. Also there were some scenes which ought to be serious or thrilling but they used funny music or silly noises in them. This was very disturbing and I was not able to absorb the actual emotion of that scene because of that.

All in all - it was far from perfect but "edible". I have seen much worse series. If you like the comedy tuned BLs this is for you. The MLs worked perfectly together for me, so I wish they could get a better script next time. 7/10 from me.

PS: Seeing Mix as Pi's crush was a little strange - everytime he appeared on screen I was just waiting for Earth to pop up :D

PS2: What is the possibility that you have 3 sons and all of them are dating/hitting on a GUY at the same time? Hmmm...

The one-sided rivalry into lovers.

Frankly, I have mixed feelings. The scene of every episode and OST has a lot of originality!

I love how Phuwin portrayed Pi's character and his insecurities, weakness, and determination. I love the way he is flawed because not everyone is perfect. I feel that from the beginning of the series, Pi is really charming in his own way. It makes him such a complex character, and he feels real. His past was so sad if we actually think about it, and every action he made honestly really understandable considering how hard it has been for him all these while. Eventually, he overcame his biggest fear and lived happily with Mork.
I have no words for Mork. Seriously, how can someone like him exist? He is good-looking, popular and charming, but he falls for Pi. His patience, care, and love for Pi. I think he fell in love the moment he saw Pi for the first time. The way he said, "I can be your vaccine, Pi". Damn, man, it hit me hard. I also love the shift in the dynamics between the leads.
Duean and Meen's scene makes my day; it is cute and funny. I will miss Duean's lack of brain cells and Meen's bubbly personality.
Introducing Bam's character almost at the end of the did bring a twist, and the way she shared Pi's old photos, although it was terrible, finally helped Pi break the wall he built around himself.
Finally, to Koh, Yok, James and Jeans, you guys were phenomenal and funny.

It was cute and all, but…

As someone who has watched my fair share of Bls, this one definitely fell a bit short for me. If it weren’t for the fact that I quite like the actors Phuwin and Pond, I probably would not have watched this in the first place. Unless you like the actors, I wouldn’t recommend watching this one (unless you’re bored lol). It’s not bad per say, it’s just that there are so many better Bls out there. If you like the main actors you can also watch the series Never Let Me Go or We Are instead because both are better.

What I liked:
Honestly, there isn’t a whole lot. I definitely liked the actors, but there was still something lacking from them in this series (not sure if it was there first together or not). Despite the occasional awkwardness, they both had decent chemistry with each other. I liked the fact that Mork was accepting of Pi during most of the drama and their interactions were fun to watch since they were kinda unpredictable at times. Idk how to explain it, but they were predictable characters and at the same time their disputes were very sudden/unpredictable.
The comedy! The comedy was probably the main thing keeping me going. If you like a simple rom-com then maybe watching this would be more bearable.

What I disliked:
The secondary couple… Were honestly a bit boring. They had better pacing than the main couple, but again there was something missing. I actually ended up skipping most of their scenes because I was so frustrated with how slowly the main couple was progressing. I also disliked the awkward acting during some of the intimate scenes, like i feel like they didn’t really have any good kiss scenes (maybe i just watch too much bl lmao, but still).
Pi’s brother was just plain annoying to me, everything was very dramatic and i feel like sometimes the actor went too far with the character.
I disliked the shippers. Like tf are you doing stalking someone like that. Just ewww. They weren’t funny either. I mean, their acting was good and all, but stalking just doesn’t sit right with me.

Overall, I would still rate this like 7/10 because I can’t lie and say that i didn’t enjoy this. I did enjoy some aspects like the comedy and the actors!
Will i watch this again? Hell nah. But it was still an okay watch and don’t shy away from watching just because not everyone enjoys it :)

The side couple save the series

I started it with low expectations.
First of all: if you want a a story of healing and surviving bullying, it isn't for you . If you want a rom-sitcom it maybe.
I wanted to watch it for Neo, I loved his performance in Tonhon chonlatee, and I also didn't like Phuwin's performance in the past so I wanted to confirm it (I really liked his performance here, Pee is a cute little bean and he did it good).
It take me around 4 months to finish, especially cause around ep 7, i skipped all but the Duean and Meen scenes till the end. After watch their story the series lost the interest for me.
As the title say, the side couple is a sight for sore eyes: They are fresh, fun and sweet.
Instead, the main couple, it's a case: while Pee is a cute injured baby that anyone could empathize with, Mork is an annoying mess who basically obtained information about Pee by concealing his identity and used it to win him over. Pee deserves better.

Everyone should know that this series is actually cute and funny at the same time!

I admit... for some reason why most people don't like the way Mork approaches Pi, and how he manipulates him to get Pi to come out of their relationship. But for some reason about the Pi, I don't agree with that. C'mon, if I were Pi, it would be hard. When your friends approach you just because your brother is handsome, then they often use you for their own benefit– of course he'll feel insecure. It's reasonable. And I'm sure at a time like that, he'll also feel insecure about his love. However, once he feels "confident" to pursue his love, I think one of the factors is because his crush is a good person like Mueng Nan. So he believed at least he wouldn't get any bad treatment from Mueng Nan. That's how Pi got the courage to start approaching him.

Actually this story would be simple if at that time Mork gave Pi the umbrella instead of Mueng Nan. But if that happened, the story would be too short, I guess. And as for Bam's appearance, seriously that's pretty cliché. When a story gives rise to a plot twist, female leads suddenly come to tear the story apart. This is a very common conflict in a story.

Mork is suspicious here. If he had the guts to approach Pi, why not from the start before Mueng Nan offered Pi an umbrella? Should he be provoked first? And the way he approaches Pi, to be honest it's a little scary. Like a stalker. But it must be admitted in some scenes he looks sweet and charming. His intentions are sincere to love Pi, but the way is wrong. Pond's acting here is also better, he looks cool in every move. His deep voice adds to the perfect side of Mork. I really like his deep voice <3

But, seriously, isn't anyone talking about how good the soundtracks are in this series? Just listening to it can blow you away!!! Louis and Mix's voices were soft and soothing.

Overall, I can recommend Fish Upon the Sky to watch if you're looking for a series that full of comedy and sweet romance!

Si quieren ver una buena comedia, ésta serie es para uds

Una comedia para reírse a carcajadas. Me pareció una historia buenísima, con actuaciones bastante buenas (cabe destacar que los personajes son muy caricaturizados por lo que no esperen ver personajes profundos o grandes conflictos), la historia se hace muy fácil de llevar y siempre hay algo que nos hace reír. El recurso del narrador para la pareja secundaria y el personaje de Neo teniendo un diálogo con él me parece fantástico. Este BL es una joyita que creo que no es tomada tan en serio por ser una comedia, pero para mí es de las mejores comedias BL que he visto.

MorkPi ship situation made me both happy and mad

I think this is the funniest BL series I have watched up to date! The dramatics played into the comedic aspect a lot as well, and it was enjoyable to watch. I do admit it felt a bit too much at times, but at the same time, I didn’t really mind it. The plot is your basic love triangle (maybe love square), ugly duckling, university story. There are no major surprises about that, but I am someone who does not mind a well-done cliché. Even if I have seen the same plot about a thousand times before.

I really loved the Kitty Gang. They were absolutely amazing! The way they adopted Pi into their group, no questions asked. They were incredibly supportive of each other, mandatory teasing and playful competitiveness included, and how non-judgmental they were. Also, yay for James (Satang) having his nails painted black. Might be just me, but I find nail polish on men (black or not) extremely attractive. And I don’t think I have seen this in other series. I would know if I did, it’s one of the first things I notice about a person.

I think one the best characters was Mueang Nan. I love it when characters (and people) don’t give others false hope. You don’t have to sugarcoat things and leave the other one hoping for a chance. If you know you do not like someone, you are not being rude by saying so – politely and respectfully. Which is what he did.

Duean & Meen: dare I say I liked this side couple more than the actual couple? I really liked how their story was added in almost as a separate series with a special narrator and making the screen smaller when it was about them. I like how their relationship developed, especially with Duean being 4-5 years older and referring to Meen as a kid when things got a bit wild. When you love someone, you want to change yourself and not them. I feel like truer words couldn’t be spoken for this pair, especially for Duean.

Mork & Pi: I can really understand Pi and his reluctance to be in a public relationship with Mork. He is used to never being good enough, never being fully accepted for who he is. He expresses this fear of not being good enough, of not being strong enough to deal with the public in the series as well. I must admit that Mork is a character I do not like very much. He never really stood up for Pi, and no matter how much he was saying he understands Pi and his emotions, he was constantly putting pressure on him. And I feel like whenever Pi expressed his worries, he was never taken seriously by Mork, which did not sit well with me. Also, Mork was extremely pushy when it came to him wanting a relationship with Pi. And while this is an extremely popular trope in stories, it is kind of obsessive and stalker-like behavior that should not be encouraged.

This whole MorkPi situation brings me to something I am both happy and mad about – the shipping in the series. I think it is incredibly important that we saw how shipping can affect someone, how unsafe it can make them feel. I was really impressed with Pi being assertive enough to be able to say that out loud. However, I was less than impressed with how the situation was handled going forward. The shipping didn’t stop, it just kind of spread to different pairings with the shippers not learning a single thing about it. Even if one of them showed understanding towards Pi’s concerns, the understanding didn’t seem to last long. Even worse was the fact that Mork completely ignored Pi’s uneasiness on the topic.

Very fun and entertaining despite bad reviews! Must watch!

I was hesitant to watch this because of the rating/comments, but I was pleasantly surprised! This entire show was extremely fun to watch with no lack of comical elements that made me laugh so hard (cough duen cough). I came here after watching Never Let Me Go with PondPhuwin, and I found them to be a really fun couple here too! My only problem with this show would be that Mork was a bit problematic with how he handled the situation and cannot seem to understand the concept of "No". But, in other ways, he was extremely sweet and supportive so it's a good watch as long as you don't think too deeply about each character's actions. Also, Bam with the whole "jealous not really girlfriend" trope felt so unnecessary and rushed with the final episodes, but that wouldn't be a deal breaker. Overall, my final verdict would be this is an extremely fun and entertaining series that I would recommend everyone to watch!
