My Marvellous Fable (2023)

Both Female Leads are writers and kind of have a bold character, while both ML are hardworking and have a similar personality towards the FL.

These two dramas aren't similar if you do not consider the romance and some character aspects.

They have a similar atmosphere when it comes to the themes of healing and overcoming,
Discovering love,
It's part of the friends to lovers trope,
It also talks a little about mental health,
And overall just the visuals.

Moonlight is another drama that talks about the relationship between a rookie editor and a best-selling author. ML is an author and FL an editor.

Both dramas share a similar "story withtin a story" premise: An author's stories coming to life. Both dramas have an episodic set up and each couple of episodes follow different stories which also feature the main characters playing roles in them. The theatrical editing and cinematography style is also very similar in these!

Both dramas have stories come to life and although they’re different in plot, they stand out against other dramas with a unique fantasy like plot and overall odd-but-good feel to it.

Dear Diary is more fantasy and has 2 warriors from Babylon come to the modern world, with scenes of Babylon as well. My Marvellous Fable has stories of the FL come to life with supernatural/black mirror type elements, while the leads take a road trip. Most of it’s content is either story telling or voice over with select dialogue.

+ The 2 series tell the lives of “lost people”, stuck in their problems, but who will help each other to get out of them.
+ The 2 series have an unusual format and production.
+ The tone is quite dark, but it is healing romance.
+ The main actors (Connor and Miles Wei) have accepted difficult roles, which they interpret with all their talent.
