Can someone help me understand how Lee Sang Yoon's face works?
Can someone help me understand how Lee Sang Yoon's face works? Seriously...it's the strangest thing I've ever seen. Dude smiles a ton, but the corners of his mouth like...never move. His entire face smiles while his lips are busy frowning like they haven't got the memo. And sometimes...the universe basically flips over and the little guy seriously smiles upside down. Like in most people, that's a frown. How is it even possible to smile upside down?? 100% my brain is like, this dude is smiling. Like it's unmistakable dude is for sure smiling...why his mouth corners point down when he smiles idk. Some strange metaphysics BS going on here.Don't take this as hate though, like definitely the guy can do a range of emotions and is a good actor. Just playfully negging on his smile because it legit breaks my actual brain to look at.
This drama was so much fun to watch. Anything with Honey Lee in it is honestly fun to watch, she has such a fun personality. It always impresses me that someone so beautiful can pull off slapstick humor the way she does. She brightens up the screen the moment she's in the shot and you can't wait to see what she'll do next. They definitely cast her perfectly in this role and played up every advantage she had to offer. From the first minute to the last second of the epilogue the entire thing was impressively well done.
The side characters were phenomenal as well...although to be fair I absolutely adore Na Young Hee and Kim Won Hae in everything they've pretty much ever been in. They have such a broad range, the both of them. Although I was a tiny tiny bit disappointed they didn't ham up Kim Won Hae's character a little more. His character, as written, was a little too shallowly portrayed to really take advantage of the actor's innate skills. The household director was great, the gang members were super funny, the prosecutor sidekick little dude was insanely handsome and did great with his role as well.
The OST was pretty banal, which was disappointing, but not a show stopper. The sets and costumes were colorful and expertly meshed with the various personalities (like come on, the widow of the eldest son and those constant massive puffy sleeves fit her timid-but-trying personality very well). I wish there had been more fight scenes though, like I really wanted to see the FL rescue the ML in a 1 vs 17 fight and watch his expression of amazement.
Overall, this drama is definitely worth a watch! It's engaging and fun and breaks out of serious moments with the sweetest interactions while constantly promoting one of the most supportive and healthy romance relationships I've seen in a kdrama. I think this style of "never mind about the tropes" romance suits both the characters and lead actors very well.

Not bad
Amazing cast and plot with a lot of funny scenes. The plot had a bit of loophole. Lawyer No Hak Tae and Ryu Seong Dyuk have seen Kim Mina and Cho Yeon Ju before but they have failed to notice that they look extremely alike. Casts seems to have a very good team work and chemistry. Only issue about the acting is that Lee Hwa Kyum didn’t manage to look like Kang Mina acted by Lee Na Hee. It was only at the last episode that she started looking like Kang Mina. They should use voice over for Lee Hwa Kyum as they sounded very different and Lee Hwa Kyum’s built seems to be smaller than Lee Na Hee. Should have picked a pair that is similar in height to play Kang Min Ah.Was this review helpful to you?
Nothing special, but - HaNee!
Lee HaNee is always worth watching. She's clever, funny, and creates delightful characters. The drama itself is nothing special, but it's a pleasant thing to watch. Kim Won-Hae is another actor who can always be depended on for a great performance, here an increasingly demented prosecutor. I have a particular affection for Kim Chang-Won because in addition to being a good actor, he's a great classic rock guitarist. If you like rock, look for him! There are a couple of other standout actors in smaller roles. Jin Seo-Yeon is marvelously evil, but she handles the pre-evil bits well and you feel sorry for her - she was made evil and didn't start out that way. A nice performance. The cast is well worth the trip here, and even th eplot has a twist or two I didn't see coming. The gangsters are delightful - as gangster cooks should be.I enjoyed it, likely you will too.

10/10 would recommend!
I usually don't like dramas like this but it was so good ?? Some of the comedic moments were a little over the top for me but that's my only negative. I love cho yeon-ju and thought that the little trio of yeon-ju, seungwook, and Lawyer noh was so cute and honestly one of the best parts of the drama. Was this review helpful to you?

If your looking for something light or easy to watch, this is for you
The show was tagged RomCom, crime/mystery drama. As far as the first four or five episodes, there's not enough romance or even comedy to talk about yet. There's a lot of mystery though, and a bit of hint of a crime. It started really really boring. I don't know what kept me from dropping the show, but I still managed to watch the whole show anyway.
There's plenty of backstory to enjoy but still not enough to explain some things in the end. Just like how our FL shared the same face with another person.
The romance part of the show is a bit scarce. But I like the comedic part and the actions scenes, I totally enjoy. Still entertaining enough to watch on your free time.

Ha Nee rocks!
Overall, this show was a joy to watch. The cast were good-looking and the acting was good. The series has nice production values and music as well.I especially loved the female lead played by Ha Nee. This was my first time to watch a show of hers and I was quite impressed with her portrayal of different characters. Her character as the funny and spunky prosecutor as well as an independent and strong woman, was refreshing for me since I have been used to the usual more meek female characters.
This was also my first time to watch Lee Sang Yoon and Lee Won Keun in a drama, and I found them handsome and talented as well. Hope to see more of them soon.
I loved the development of the characters and the issues as well as the plot twists. I guess my only small gripe is the last few episodes which felt hurried and a bit unsatisfying in terms of conflict resolution. I think some viewers also noticed the writing of the show somehow declined in the later part of the series. (For example, I find the scene where the male lead did not answer the question of the child romantic but disconcerting. Or maybe it was just my OCD. lol)
In any case, this is not a typical Korean drama with cutesy characters and saccharine plot. It was a breath of fresh air. Lastly, that dance scene by the cast after the epilogue in the final episode was simply cute. I hope to see more like this in other dramas. haha
Kudos to the cast, crew and production of this well-made drama. Keep it up!

An almost perfect blend of comedy and family corruption
What i liked: Lee he nee's character as prosecutor is amazing. Her ability to play a seemingly dual character navigating between good and bad cop is almost convincing. Kudos to jin seo yun, she was able to portray your classical villain whose need to be recognized by her father turned her into a woman whose conquest for power and rulership overturned every other thing in her life even family. Story progression was steady with cliffhangers that left you anticipating the next episode. What i dislike: the introduction of romance but ML and FL seemed to blossom out of nowhere and yet somehow the writer tried to make a connection of meeting in the past and a case of mistaken identity. Very poorly done in my opinion. There was also the lack of enough screen time for FL to play duality of her character and by episode 2 her heiress character disappeared into thin air and she reappears somewhere mid series with a new face with no self development whatsoever.
The highlight of the show was Lee ha nee's as cho yeon joo who won me over with her ability to appear to show that she was seemingly corrupt and would do anything to rise in the prosecution office and the hidden part of her reason for being a prosecutor in the first place and her comedy side.

An over the top enjoyable show that beggars belief but leaves a good impression.
I was searching for a series to watch after a long draught of me dropping or putting quite a few shows on-hold and low & behold here comes Honey Lee! I mean she is no-holds barred, funny, smart, OTT but oh-so-infectious!! Her character is giving me 'Good Manager - Kim Sung‑ryong' vibes.Story:
We have a case of mistaken identity where a female prosecutor (our hero) finds herself as an heiress to a conglomerate after an accident wipes out her memories. And as she unravels the quagmire that she has fallen into - with the family politics, workplace deceit and the mystery of the missing heiress - she slowly finds the truth behind her grandmother's death.
We have a fast paced story for the first 10 episodes. There's a lot of twists and turns down the road as per usual K-Drama dramatics until we reach the final climax.
Acting:
Honey Lee has done a great job bringing our FL to life. One cannot help but route for her to vanquish all her foes and triumph! The ML is cute. The side characters are pretty enjoyable. I like the comedy displayed in this drama as well as some of the quips/dialogues by the side characters.
Overall:
First half of the drama flew by fast as a breeze but second half got a lot more dramatic as per usual Kdrama style. Nonetheless, an endearing main character (I love females that are kick-ass) and thus, an enjoyable one-time watch. A 7.5/10 for me.

She Lost Her Memory, Not Her Bite: A Drama That Delivers Laughs and Justice
Every time I watch something with Lee Hanee , I’m completely mesmerized. by her beauty and her effortless humour. She doesn’t try to be funny, she just is. I actually started this drama because I saw a random clip online, and the moment I watched it, I knew: okay, this is going to be good. And it really was.Plot*
The story follows Jo Yeon-joo, a sharp and fearless prosecutor who, while on an undercover mission, gets into a car accident and falls into a coma. When she wakes up, she has completely lost her memory and finds herself in a luxurious hospital room, surrounded by people insisting she is Kang Mi-na, the second daughter-in-law of the powerful Hanju chaebol family.
What the Hanju family doesn’t know is that the woman they believe to be Kang Mi-na is actually Jo Yeon-joo a prosecutor who just happens to look exactly like her. And unknowingly to them, she’s now living under their roof while slowly uncovering their secrets and digging into their corruption.
This drama is honestly iconic. It’s packed with comedy and unforgettable scenes that make it ridiculously entertaining. If you’ve watched anything with Hanee Lee before, you already know, her comedic timing is unreal. She carries the drama so naturally that even the smallest expressions land perfectly.
But beneath all the humor, the drama tackles some very serious themes. It once again shines a light on how easily the wealthy can manipulate the justice system, how crimes are buried under money and power, and how even prosecutors and public officials, people meant to protect society, can become part of the corruption. Despite its lighthearted tone, the message is loud and clear: justice isn’t always justice when power is involved.
Spoilers***
The only details I really wished the drama hadn’t made was the plastic surgery storyline involving Kang Mi-na. Personally, I think it would have been far more satisfying if Kang Mi-na had returned as herself, joined the mission to take down Hanju. Seeing her and the prosecutor in the same frame with the same face would have been so powerful, especially considering how much she suffered.
Still, this drama remains such a fun, sharp, and memorable watch. It balances comedy and critique so well, and Hanee Lee absolutely owns every scene she’s in. One of those shows that makes you laugh, think, and occasionally yell at the screen in the best way possible.

At first I was very spectacle about the drama when I began to watch it but as I continued into episode 2 .... All though i'm only on episode (its on going and 2 new episodes were released as I'm writing this) 4, I'm so excited to watch 2 new episodes

Perhaps I'm burned out
It's the first time I ever write a review after watching only one episode of, actually, quite a promising looking series. But I dropped immediately after around 40 minutes from the first episode.
Everything, as I have perceived...was a clear mess.
To be completely fair with this series, as I am aware that judging it over only the first episode does not sound like a very credible review at all, please just hear me out.
This series has every good ingredient. Good actors, good music, an averagely good story, good editing and.....nothing seems to fit together. In fact, many modern k-dramas seem to have everything on the surface, but are completely empty inside.
They are UN-HARMONIUS. None of the elemets mentioned above connect together in a harmonius manner. It's a mess.
I don't have the intelligence to use the best words to describe my experience. It is as if I already knew, by intuition, what this series was trying to do. It wanted me to use my brain to try and understand whatever the plot was trying to do, instead of giving me and laying me out the obvious. I was confused for 40 minutes, trying to figure out what was actually going on.
And because of the unharmonious elements (story, music, acting, pacing), something that on the surface looked promising (perhaps that's where the good reviews came from?), personally, I was bored out of my mind, and on top of that, the series didn't convince me to care about any of the characters at all.
It all felt like a tiring, messy and pointless dream.
