Engrossing and captivating, finale faltered
Again My Life started on a strong center point, with justice as it's selling point. The first episode may feel like a fantasy, but it's not. Except that one point in the pilot episode, everything about here is a strategy of 10 years to bring a criminal down. There’s a slight disappointment in the development process. As the plot primarily centers around Hee Woo, the support characters are inconspicuous. After his amazing work in Flower Of Evil, Lee Joon Gi delivers himself with aan another great performance of a charismatic character set out to eradicate evil.
Everything was brilliantly written, but when it came to finale it faltered. The ending was rushed, there was sudden romance (which I didn't felt, the right couple) involved at the end of the episode and there were many plotholes which weren't filled in the last episode, which might leave many of the audiences half hearted about the finale.
To summarise, Again My Life had good elements and writing and was strongly held till the penultimate episode, while faltering at the end. Although the drama didn't end as expected, it was a very good show with some good acting and decently impressive execution.
My Rating : 8/10

Disappointing ending but watchable
Acting: Although I have been a K-drama stan for the last five years, this was the first time I made myself watch a Lee Joong Gi drama and his acting didn't disappoint me. In fact, he is the only main character in the entire drama while the others only supported him. Acting wise, everyone did a great job.Story: Well, the story initially was very interesting and unpredictable. But later, there were just too many characters involved (i was struggling to remember their names :)) and at one point the plot wasn't going anywhere. I couldn't feel any emotional connection with any of the characters. I kept watching only because of how he will bring Cho Tae Sub down but the last 20 mins ruined that too with a so-called open ending.
Conclusion: Do i recommend this show? Well, I'll say if u have nothing to watch then this may turn out to be interesting. I won't advise binge watching it though.

Re-do to ensure justice is served!
I watched this k-drama in anticipation for Lee Joon Gi's fanmeeting in Kuala Lumpur on 22 September, which I bought a ticket. What I liked:
1. Acting - Brilliant performance by Lee Joon Gi and Lee Kyung Young. It's great to see some character growth in Kim Hee Woo - Lee Joon Gi could show some range when Hee Woo was ungrateful teen-aged brat who then grew to be tactical fighter against injustice. LJG performance nicely complements Lee Kyung Young's cunning, corrupted politician character. Solid performance from Kim Chul Ki, Kim Jae Kyung & Ji Chan too.
2. Side characters - I like that supporting characters lasted more than 1 or 2 episodes - they all played an integral role in the fight against corruption. There were many supporting characters I like e.g. Park Sang Man, Kim Han Mi, Prosecutor Jeon Seok Gyu, Ji Seong ho and the old real estate guy who became Hee Woo's mentor.
3. Plot - I like the plot twists. Kim Seok Hoon is such unpredictable character and that reveal in episode 15 I did not see it coming!
4. Action scenes - Good choregraphed fight scenes and LJG really looked fit despite the lean/slender build.
What I disliked:
1. The afterlife/re-do connection - I understand why Hee Woo was given a re-do but I don't understand the process from Director Han to Hee Woo in episode 1 or 2 helipad scene.
2. The romance - Wow, Hee Woo has 3 romantic interest. I understand why romance arc is not explored much in this series but it'd be great if there were meaningful scenes that hinted at possible romance e.g. she told Hee Woo to share the burden because it's exhausting to fight injustice on his own.
Favourite scene:
Kim Hee Won's fight scenes with Doctor K

Clever "improved" copy of Lawless Lawyer, but kinda generic... Nothing stayed with me
I watched this a few months ago. It is a total "copy with improvements" of Lawless Lawyer. Lee Gong Ji is again a lawyer etc taking down corrupt officials, and this time there are some supernatural elements and the villains are taking entire Korea and its president. THe drama is not about character growth but about outwitting the criminals. The watch was not bad but I notice that I do not remember anything from this show EXCEPT thinking that the Assemblyman is NOT as nearly a good villain as Judge Cha from Lawless Lawyer. The Judge was UNSURPASSED acting of a smooth powerful evil villain. Assemblyman looks like an amateur compared to her. He is just not ... sleezy enough. Not scary enough. Not politely cold enough. Not distant enough.. Just not a great villain like her.
I also remember that I was thinking it was a karma show. There are many elements of karma and how our actions shape the future. So the Lawyer did not date etc, he made sure he erased his previous bad karma and he focused on becoming a prosecutor and then chasing criminals. That is perhaps the only "character growth" element in this kdrama .
And the side character, the prosecutor friend... Is interesting. He was the magician in Twinkling Watermellon and in this drama too he spoke like that so I was expecting him to be some kind of supernatural influence, but he was not :) Seems like that is how he acts... .
One of The GLory villains is a half villain here and she is pretty good at it. She is assemblyman's secretary.
So... lots of action, and not much deeper content, and most importantly, you can tell the depth of it, since I do not really remember anything until I force myself to remember :) It means that it did not reach me...

Wasted climax
You follow the prosecutor kim hu-u's ambitions to take down cho tae-sub for 16 episodes only to be treated with a whole lot of nothing. I want to see him in jail or witness the court hearing at the least, he just excepts it and that's it. The show falls flat after hu-u decides to tell tae-sub it was him the whole time even though the show was already painfully slow to begin with. The show originally dragged me in with its cool twist on the genre, but failed as it was never touched upon since episode 1.Was this review helpful to you?
A Fantastic Show!
When you see the whole show except the last episode I would give 10 out of 10. The last show was a let down. I did not like the ending, it looks like they set things up for a sequel. Instead of think of a sequel, they should have been thinking of ending this season best way possible.Don't get me wrong, even though i did not like the last episode, this is still a great show. Well written, well acted, entertaining show. My disappointment is that it could have been tad bit better.

They don't make good shit like this no more
Every episode airing had me in a chokehold.Held my ass whenever i sensed a romance arc cause i was afraid the lady i was rooting for was friendzoned.
Anyway...its good acting good story.
It speaks for itself.
The music i gave it a low cause honestly i don't even remember it. But i doesn't matter cause its a thriller so the osts aren't paid attention too that much.
The rewatch value is low only cause its those shows you watch intensely and each scene is encripted in your brain...making rewatching abit impossible.( for me only romcom get away with this)
But you always give it a mention when suggestions others to check out shows.

One of my new favorites. Main character is nearly a super hero.
9/10 is my rating. This is a 2022 South Korean legal fantasy drama with 16, 60 minute episodes.First I will provide a synopsis then review
Synopsis
Kim Hui-u (Lee Joon-gi) is a naive but determined young prosecutor when he takes on a corrupt but powerful politician, Cho Tae-San (Lee Heun-young), and is killed for his effort. The Grim Reaper, Han Ji-Hyun (Cha Joo-young) gives Hee-woo a chance to go back 15 years to re-do the portions of his life that lead up to his showdown with the corrupt politician. She offers a second chance provided he does things different and makes it hell on earth for Cho Tae-seob. This is a justice and revenge drama with a thread of romance.
Review
The first portion of the drama shows where Hui-u dies then goes back and redoes school and helps people (utilizing his knowledge of future events) who he will later need as allies. That part drags a little and I got a bit bored. It picked up when he was back to being a prosecutor and taking down criminals at the lowest echelons of Tae-seob‘s criminal organization. I thought it was funny when he was okay with repeating everything except his time in the military. His horror that he had to repeat that portion was brought up several times. He was such a gentleman and so cool with the way he helped people that he had multiple girls vying for his attention.
Lee Joon-gi is one of my favorite male actors. The roles he picks are usually justice based on there is a lot of martial arts elements since he is such an amazing martial artist. He seems to like story lines where good overcomes evil in some way and justice prevails. As someone who hates bullies, loves to see the good guy win, and wants to see criminals brought to justice the roles he chooses checks all the boxes for me. So if I see he is in something that is the first thing that draws my interest. I like his acting and I know he chooses really good roles.
I so thoroughly enjoyed this series that I would highly recommend it, might even read the webtoon even knowing it may be a repeat of the story but just to get additional insight if there is any. I will definitely watch a second season because I am already missing Hui-u he was that compelling of a character. He had super hero status in my opinion. I loved the music, it was iconic and you knew something was going down whenever it started playing. A couple of the songs will be added to my playlist.
Spoilers*
I looked at the webtoon for this and reading the first few chapters it seems the story follows really closely. I really like dramas that are webtoon based because it is like they were already pre-screened for being really good, well developed and interesting story lines.
This show has it all, it has action scenes, good versus evil, supernatural elements, legal drama and a little bit of romance sprinkled in. Romance is definitely not a central theme and it felt a little abrupt the romance line that came in at nearly the end. But, it was also set up for a 2nd season with a whole new set of villains.
I found it a little disappointing that Tae-sob committed suicide and wasn't led away in handcuffs. It felt like he won in being able to pick how he exited. I liked that the grim reaper was saved by Hui-u and that he said, when she got out of jail, he would help her get her life on track. Her brother was irredeemable and I was glad they didn't try to make it so all his murders were forgotten. They never fully explained what happened with her and her brother and how her brother was so brain washed by Tae-sob but that was a minor element. Tae-sob said something that made it sound like he was aware Hui-u had a past life but they never further expanded on that which makes me curious to read the webtoon and see if that is expanded on more.

Great action revenge drama
I spend a really great time watching this drama. Lee joon Gi was the main reason to start it because for me it never a missed when he plays and this time again, I really like his work.As promised the drama delivered a great action revenge story. I really enjoyed watching the step to bring down the villain and the trap that the main character settled. The main lead is easy to like, I mean, intelligent, kind, funny, strong with a good sense of friendship what else can we ask. Lee Joon Gi who take the role don’t disappoint me and did a really good job as always. The fight scene are really well filmed and knowing he did it himself makes me appreciate it even more.
For the rest of the cast, I appreciate every other perso except for Kim hee-ah. She was kind of boring and tasteless which is even more flagrant when we compared to the other girl especially Han mi who was my favorite. The villain was also really good and offered what we want.
Even though it’s a great drama, there is some negative things.
First, there is a lot of perso which means a lot of name. It was hard to remember and understand who they talked about especially if you’re not Korean. It was hard sometimes to make the connections between all the information there was.
Secondly, the pace at the end is weird. After a fast speed every things slow down to show some useless scene especially those with hee ah. I was really disappointed with the end. It lacks impact compared to the rest of the drama whereas it’s the big boss. I was not fully satisfied with the resolution.
Overall it’s a great action revenge drama and worth to watch.

It's a good story
This is a really great drama! I really like this genre so maybe I'm biased. I say it was a really good story. It kept me watching until the end because I had to know what happened! I was so impatient. Just well acted all around. The second chance theme was not in your face and that was nice. It let you get involved in the now like he did, but still remembering why he's there.Lee Joon Gi is incredible, as always, and his intensity draws you in even more. You'll get emotionally involved in his outcome.

Again My Life: Smart, Intense, and Nearly Perfect
If you're thinking about watching "Again My Life", stop thinking and just go for it. It’s one of the best legal and revenge dramas I’ve seen in a long time. I give it a solid 9 out of 10, and I would have given it a 10 if the last episode wasn’t rushed. I was expecting a big, powerful ending where the villain truly pays for everything—but it wrapped up too fast. That one flaw aside, the rest of the drama is brilliant.
What It's About
This is a story about a young prosecutor named Kim Hee Woo (played by the amazing Lee Joon Gi), who is killed while trying to take down a corrupt and powerful politician. But then something strange happens—he gets a second chance at life. With all his memories from his past life, he now has time to prepare, build alliances, and slowly break down the corrupt system.
Why It’s Worth Watching
Smart Plot: It’s not just another “good guy vs. bad guy” drama. The story is full of clever plans, long-term strategy, and exciting moments. You’ll want to know what Hee Woo does next.
No Romance, Just Focus: Unlike many K-dramas, this show doesn’t waste time with love triangles. The focus stays on justice, teamwork, and personal growth.
Strong Acting: Lee Joon Gi absolutely owns this role. The villain, played by Lee Kyung Young, is chilling and believable. Other characters are also strong and well-written.
Great Production: The music, scenes, and fight sequences are done very well. The pacing is excellent for most of the show—each episode leaves you wanting more.
What Could’ve Been Better
The final episode felt rushed. The entire drama built up the tension beautifully, but in the end, the payoff didn’t feel big enough. The villain got caught, but I wanted something more emotional or dramatic.
Final Thoughts
Despite the ending, "Again My Life" is a powerful, exciting, and smart drama. If you enjoy stories about justice, revenge, and fighting against corruption—this one’s a must-watch. And trust me, Lee Joon Gi makes it even more worth it.
My Rating: 9.0/10
✅ Strong plot
✅ Great acting
✅ Intense mind games
❌ Slightly disappointing ending
Would I recommend it?
Absolutely. Just don't expect the perfect finale—but the journey is more than worth it.

For the cast
The story/cast/acting/music is good but the one thing that I notice is why kim hee a is the main character when she is barely in the scenes and shes barely interact with the mc until the last 3-4 episodes. This why upsetting me! why? Because if your a true k drama lover you will search the rating , cast and story of the k drama you want to watch if it is worth it to watch and i was angry because i was expecting more scenes of kim hee a because she was a MAIN CHARACTER but she is barely interact just like what happen in the ending they ending up with each other just like what i want but she was barely scene with the mc. Kim yuri was in the supp role but she was in the scenes most of the time. The show was hype and im eager to watch it despite of my time because i was hype from episode 1- 10 then the hype will down from 11 - 16 eps.But is was a good revenge story though the time travel did not explain very well.
