Way too easy

How the heck did San Mang survive that fall? He literally fell from the rooftop. How? How? Someone pls explain. Apart from that mind boggling event, I enjoyed this drama but not as much as I expected. It just felt like there wasn't much obstacles blocking Hee Woo's way in his 2nd life since he had all this information from his past life. Things went according to his plan almost all of the time. Due to this, it felt predictable and less exciting as I knew that he was most likely going to get his way. This is a good enough drama but not as a good Flower of Evil, not even close. And can they pls cast another actor as the villain for this type of drama next time. That actor has played so many of the same roles like can he please play like a poor person for a change or at least something else where he is not a chairman, an assemblyman, or someone with tremendous influence and power.

The ending a bit disappointing as it focused heavily on setting up the 2nd season.

Worth watching overall, but ultimately I was quite let down by the conclusion. It felt rather disappointing because it concentrated excessively on constructing a possible second season instead of delivering genuine closure. A television series should reward its audience with a fully developed, satisfying narrative within the current season. Depending too much on uncertain future seasons undermines the existing effort and feels inconsiderate toward loyal viewers who invested their valuable time, trust, and emotions. Please provide a proper conclusion, not merely a vague setup.

Action Action & more Action

I think Lee Joon Gi pulls off hands down the best action sequences of all kdramas. Pair that with an epic plot line and the most powerful villain character and acting and you have what is called "Again my life" . It pulled me in at the first few episodes itself and somehow well connected all logical loop holes. You know you will be satisfied with action and plot watching this one as there was no bullshit about worrying about altering the future or intervening and all that crap. All most felt like I was watching an Isekai Anime too where the hero has all the cheat codes he can use to bring down the biggest nemesis of all time.

Good drama tells us how he travels to the past to change his life, and not die again, and also save his parents.

Could he save them from the horrible accident?
And can he be saved from dying again?

Lee Jon GI's performance becomes more radiant every day, I love this man, I recommend the drama to everyone and I would gladly watch it again.

If you love law dramas and only law dramas its fine

I DNF'd this one after episode 4. Honestly I just didn't care about anyone. The cast didn't really seem to have a lot of chemistry and it was just boring to me. I've tried multiple law dramas and I think I've realized that I just don't like them 😆 I find all the law lingo and court mumbo jumbo dull and tedious but that's just me. Joon Gi was great as always but honestly I wasn't crazy about his characters either, he seemed to have no personality and all his friends felt interchangeable to me. I was really hope for more of a time travel drama but it's just a straight up law drama.

Lawyer/Political stuff that isn't the usual boring fare - its rather fun

I’ll admit that I am in a big drama slump. Part of me doesn’t want to sit through the angst and the other part of me can’t stand weak fluff. Good news, Again My Life is neither. It is intelligent, humorous and full of some serious action….I do mean serious.

The Characters:
This is my first show with Lee Joon Gi in it. Can I tell you how awesome he was? Why didn’t any of you tell me about him before? He played the fearless prosecutor Kim Hee Woo. At first, I thought he was a dope. It took fifteen minutes into episode 1 to realize that everyone around him was pretty crooked. Before the half-hour point, the viewer can tell that poor Kim Hee Woo is hopelessly deluded that he would defeat the uber bad guy Cho Tae Seob.

This is not a spoiler, but Cho Tae Seob (nicely played by Lee Kyung Young), the evil but self-righteous assemblyman, has the reckless Hee Woo killed before the end of episode 1 (this point is in the plot summary). Our dead leading man meets a mysterious grim reaper who gives him another chance, asking the dead man to defeat Cho Tae Seob this time.

There are no other leads. I know it says there are in the recap but really this show is about these two men and the cast of characters they surround themselves with. Most of the women, who are awesome and strong, are on Kim Hee Woo’s side (as would I). All the politicians and government officials appear to be on the bad side with Cho Tae Seob.

What makes it more interesting is the two swap minions throughout the episodes. I won’t give a spoiler but there are a few on each side that at times make your head spin because you can’t figure out if they are bad or good. So cool….I mean how entertaining is that! Each week is a surprise who is helping the prosecutor and who is helping the politician.

My favorite of large and fascinating group of folks are Lee Min Soo played by Jung Sang Hoon……a “friend?” of Kim Hee Woo. He has almost all the best lines in the show. My next favorite character is a cameo by Bae Jong Ok who does a 5 minute scene as Chairwoman Chun Ho Ryung. She was bad-a** in Graceful Family and again in the last 5 minutes of this Again My Life.

The Music:
The music for this was FANTASTIC. I will be downloading some of these songs. They never got old……like ever……throughout the entire 16 episodes. Some of my favorites: Bring it on by Sonnet, Til the End by Yoo Sung Eun, and What the gang? By Yoon Do Hyun.

Re-watchability:
This one is hard because I am intrigued by another drama that just came out. I want to rewatch it, especially since they left it as if there would be another 16 episodes but won’t be doing it right away. I loved the show but not enough to immediately watch all over again.
If you like lawyer stuff and political stuff, not a lot of romance, and just enough fantasy to get by, I think Again My Life is for you…..I certainly enjoyed it.

Watching this is like chess match as we saw in the opening.

So far, this is a revenge movie with subtle tactics. There're a lot of strategy materials worth anticipating in the future.

The main character wants to achieve justice in a way that is full of intelligence & softeness.

Remember when he had a dialogue with the 'God of auction' (Woo Youngsoo), there Heewoo couldn't even change his temperament to become a brutal figure.

This will be a bright and joyful revenge series.

The main character will undergo redemption in his second life and bring about justice that he could not achieve in his first life.

The stories about social absurdities deserve to be enjoyed because our lives are very close to this phenomenon.

I like how the novel/webtoon is adapted with new material that is almost close to reality.

I like to see how this drama is made by modifying the plot so that it follows social, political, & technological developments.

very interesting to see this premise. I will sit and wait like watching a chess match.

Very good from what I have seen so far

The drama was very good so far, engaging and entertaining (particularly the fight scenes). A very good adaptation from the webtoon (I didn't read the book). Every time a new episodes comes out I am ready to watch, and it's the first time I actually re-watched some episodes. I found it healing after the heartbreak of watching some characters start out strong and then abandon all self respect. I like the fact that the protagonist starts as an underdog, but step by step improves himself and work towards his goal, as well as the fact that he has people around him helping him out, so he is not a loner. The interactions with his friends and the school/university bits were my favorite parts (kind of a "limbo" that was not "too serious" were we could relax.

Lee Joon Gi doing what he does best

Since this show stars Lee Joon Gi, I just had to watch it. I've loved him ever since Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo and has subsequently seen him in other dramas. In this show he does what he does best: action and drama. He does not disappoint here.

This was a very interesting story and the plot kept me at the edge of my seat with every move and countermove by LJG's character and the villain.

LJG's films and series do not usually include much romance so don't expect much here. Just watch it for his martial arts and dramatic scenes.

All the actors performed well. I would rewatch this show and recommend it to others.

Enjoyed it !

I really enjoyed watching this and in fact binge watched it all in one go! I don't get why it has a lot of negative reviews it did what it said it would. I didnt feel like it dragged and I thought every character was developed just right. I didnt feel like there were too many characters either it would have been unrealistic for them to plan what they planned with less people involved 💀

I will agree though that the ending was rushed despite the fact that it was a 16 episode series so there was no need for it to be rushed as it was. The events in ep 16 could have easily stretched out into ep 15 too.

Also a LITTLE SPOILER but not reallyyyy, I wasnt the biggest fan of who he ended up with in the end i barely felt any chemistry between them whereas there was chemsistry between him and literally every other female character lol.

Besides that though i really liked it and im glad i watched it before seeing all the mixed reviews for once 😅

A great Fantasy Drama!

I enjoyed watching this drama from start to finish, what I love about this drama was the ML style in collecting evidence to fight corruption and crime.
I watched it purely because I’m a fan of Lee Joon Gi and his execution of his character was beautiful played in every way. Many people watch a drama that is already written yet having their own narratives lol. Just accepts this for what was given to us. Maybe while all wasn’t revealed in this New Season1 because there might be a Season2 based on the ending. This is a Fantasy Drama and sometimes there is just no room to add romance based off the amount of episodes with many characters to cover. I honestly did not miss seeing any Romance even with such a beautiful casting. I enjoyed the action scenes and the the loyalty the ML had with his friends and work colleague to help him fight corruption and crime. If you are looking for romance it’s not the drama to watch.
