Hidden gem
Just finished this after binge watching it... It's been awhile since I enjoyed a show like this. I think the last time was fall in love, where Zhang Jing yi and Cheng Xing xu as the main characters. From the 1st episode to the last, pulled you in, the pace was great for this drama and there was no dragging nor any weird inconveniences within the show which was great.
The characters had a great chemistry and they were naturally funny and real without even trying and this isn't easy to come by.
For once there were no meddling in-laws and the likes. They were valid in their actions such as liu Shu yin's father which wasn't extreme. The second leads weren't dying to get their non sensical revenge just because they couldn't get the male lead so it was refreshing to watch.
As for the OST , I can't say it was the best I've ever heard like Long Ballard,my little happiness and even go into your heart have amazing OSTS. But Z.Tao's was amazing and some in between. So I'd give it a 7 at least.
The story in itself was great. A balance of both law and romance and everyday life. The father's love for qian Wei was very touching and real. The trauma's that affected the characters are all relatable and understandable without seemingly to be overbearing.
Loved it, but one thing though, z.tao's hair was just funny with the suit but it made sense for his character. Don't judge a book by its cover kinda type of vibe I guess.
If they also added court scenes like maybe going defending would have made it much better and interesting
All in all bingeability is high and the pace great.. I'd recommend it ..

One of the best modern dramas
The story is so well wriiten! I fell in love with many of these characters. I am not an office drama person so I was skeptical of the legal portions. The legal backdrop helped to develop the characters and provide healing of regrets from the past so I actually enjoyed that part. I was very surprised to see such depth to the characters in a modern drama of only 33 episodes. Usually this onky happens in the ancient dramas of 50 episodes. I cheered and cried my way through each episode and cant wait to watch it again. Was this review helpful to you?
Song Zu Er (FL) the only redeeming quality
I don't understand the rave reviews and high scores this drama got. It was very draggy where it feels like you're watching the same scene/plot on repeat. The only redeeming quality and why I watched until the end (with a LOT of skipping) is because of Song Zu Er. She is one of the best young actresses with such a range in genuine acting - adorable, witty, fierce, emotional, heart-wrenching...she nails it every time in every series I've seen her in.I just could not get into the male lead and his hair. This is the first time I've seen this actor in a series, and he was not good...not terrible, but not good. He had zero chemistry w/ the FL.
I did not root for anyone or any couple in this series other than the FL and her father. All the supporting characters and their storyline were uninteresting.

Unexpectedly good
I will start by saying that most of the time I rarely write reviews ( more often than not I leave negative reviews when I am pissed with dramas with a high rating and abnormally stupid plots). I started this without much expectation but after the first 2 episodes was convinced that it would be more interesting than the usual dramas. Thank God there was no dumb FL and she was rather cute, ML was playing his part also very well. This combined with the unique plot ( because the writers did a great job with it) keeps you interested with every episode. Also, the conversations between the leads are cleverly written, not boring, cliche, or stupid repeatedly boring lovely-dovely conversations. Everything looked cute and natural. Great drama overall. Was this review helpful to you?

This is an underrated drama for sure.!!!
I don't why this drama has not gained more ratings but as for me, this drama is a total hit. It was a roller coaster of emotions and it doesn't feel odd by any chance. What I thought would be a office romance turned out be a sweet college love story of two academic rivals and the details..the detailss, you can die for them. The genuine touch of this drama is soo soo good. I laughed , smiled , got those butterfliess , cried a lot and enjoyed this a lottt. If you're thinking of watching this drama watch it broo what are you waiting forr go and feel it yourselff man.!!!!Was this review helpful to you?
A Surprisingly Refreshing Drama
Legally Romance turned out to be such an unexpected gem. I went into it with absolutely no expectations and honestly, it blew me away.I actually only gave this drama a try after watching The Prisoner of Beauty, where I first noticed the female lead. She caught my attention there, and I was curious to see more of her work. At first, I had avoided Legally Romance because I wasn’t used to her acting style, and I was also a bit skeptical about the male lead due to his dramatic off-screen image. But I'm so glad I gave it a shot.
This drama is so good. I only skipped maybe 2 or 3 scenes, and even then, it was just because they were a little cringy, nothing major. Apart from that, I was fully engaged the entire time.
Every scene is either entertaining or genuinely funny. The comedic moments are well done without feeling over-the-top or awkward. The emotional scenes also hit the right notes, making the story feel grounded and heartfelt. It’s a really sweet and warm drama.
Surprisingly, even the villain didn’t annoy me too much. That’s rare! I found myself enjoying all the characters because they were written with depth and personality. They're relatable to me especially Qian Wei, who is around my age, which made her journey even more meaningful for me.
Overall, Legally Romance is a delightful watch with a good balance of humor, heart, and character growth. Definitely worth checking out !

A well crafted love story always have my heart <3
This is the kind of drama which I want to forget soon so that I can re watch it with the same enjoyment I did the first time. The story feels similar to Pride and Prejudice. Our FL Qian Wei having prejudices against Lu Xun for always been on top even though technically he did nothing wrong. On the other side we have ML Lu Xun who is totally in love with Qian Wei yet his pride never let it show to her directly. I woo at such kind of romances (this noona's heart likes what it likes, no regrets) and thus if you do too then its a totally recommend watch for you.
I love how QW was sassy, smart, cool and witty. I remember a scene in Ep 4 where after she time travelled, where her ex (whom she had met recently on this timeline) apologized to her for lying and she coolly goes "Its okay. I know you are expert at lying" had me rofl. The blatant sarcasm she used against the 2 guys for making her life worse were hilarious.
Lu Xun being the alpha male was good at everything he did and his longing for QW had me ache for them to be together. Like every romance drama have a mandatory drop where the leads breakup for all sorts of nonsense reasons only to get together, this one was different. Because it had LOGIC. I totally got LX point on why he never wanted to be a mere rebound or for her to love him because he did some nice things for her. He wanted her to see him and love him for for the way he is. Hats off to the story for being able to communicate this in a coherent matter to the audiences. I often find this sort of articulation lacking in other dramas.
The swap from the past timeline to current one made sense. I won't spoil it for new watchers, they never took the "physics" approach getting into alternate realities, parallel worlds, 5th dimension etc etc. The reason was simple and satisfactory for me.
Despite me loving the drama so much, it wasn't flawless. The best friend scenes felt average to me compared to the overall show. The ex scenes with the CEO was totally worthless and I skipped it guilt free. The ending few 3-4 episodes were mere filler and totally makjang -ish. You can quit the show when the leads get together around 27-28 episode (i don't remember the exact episode).
Hope you can enjoy it the way I did..!

10/10 Full of surprises!
100000/10I am so happy that I watched this drama I was going to ignore it since it was in my watchlist.
I really like how this drama turned out, full of surprises.
My favorite character is ML he's so cool and his lines in the drama are so iconic, he's always fun. Such a good actor Z Tao is❤️
Both leads have such a good chemistry even when they are bickering. Their arguments are so fun and felt so natural.
FL is such a good actress, I love her!!
Her character had the best development. At the start I felt she was somewhat annoying but after some episodes she was so cool and I felt so attached to her character.
And the 2nd fl is so so smart and kind she always respects them and is such a good friend to both of them.
2nd ML had character development and i like how he came to his senses and found himself.
I really like FL brother he is such a cute character and whenever he smiles my hearts goes boom boom💣💥
Overall such a great drama and acting was really good and I became Z Tao's fan😌❤️

So, we're going to talk about the drama Legally Romance. Honestly, it was amazing! I didn’t expect them to create a drama like this. In the first episode, Lu Xun (played by Z-Tao) and Qian Wei (played by Song Zuer) are shown as having a boss-employee relationship, where he appears to really hate her. But the story takes a twist when they introduce the time-travel trope. I believed that she might time travel back to her college days, where she is now in 2013 and already knows her future. So, she starts to fight back and seek revenge on Lu Xun. She mistakenly believes that he is in love with the second lead actress (I don't remember her name), so she tries to help him win her over. However, what she doesn’t realize is that Lu Xun actually loves her, not the second lead. Eventually, around episode 16, they begin to get closer, and by episode 26, Qian Wei wakes up in a hospital and realizes that everything she experienced was not time traveling—it was all just a coma dream. The time travel was just a part of her dream while she was in a coma. Lu Xun visits her, but she is talking to her ex about breaking up with him. Lu Xun misunderstands and leaves before speaking to her, thinking that she still loves her ex and will patch things up with him.
What Qian Wei experienced in her coma dream made her realize that, even though it was just a dream, she had fallen for Lu Xun. She starts to piece together the truth when a doctor tells her that it's common for patients to recover better if their friends and family share their past with them. The doctor hints that some parts of her dream might have been real. She then sees an entry book from her coma period and notices that Lu Xun's name is on the list. This confirms to her that her feelings and experiences were not just a dream—Lu Xun truly loves her.
After waking up, Lu Xun still acts like a tough boss because he believes that Qian Wei still loves her ex. He thinks he has no chance with her, even though he has loved her for years. The episodes from when she wakes up to episode 30 were a bit boring to watch. However, things improve later on, and they eventually end up together.
In the final episodes, Qian Wei begins seeing glimpses of the future during her check-ups. She sees that Lu Xun is on a date with the second lead actress, but it turns out that she wasn’t romantically interested in him. Instead, she was hiring him for a business-related case, as Lu Xun is a lawyer. Qian Wei decides to confess her love to him and tells him, “I love you.” Lu Xun then reveals that he wanted to hear her confession and that he’s been in love with her since he was 18—he has loved her for 10 years and still does. Everything goes well after that.
In the last episode, just before their wedding, Qian Wei runs away because she wants to see her future with him. Everyone thinks the bride has run away, and Lu Xun also runs after her. In the end, they both end up in the same car, and the drama concludes like that.

Unexpected Justice
This was my first drama with ZTao in it, and I fell in love with his attitude about life, acting, singing and speaking voice.Initially I found the FL annoying, but as the story developed and she mellowed, I didn’t mind her so much.
Every character in this drama was cast well, and they all did an excellent job with their roles.
There was lots of humor, tension and sweet moments throughout and they were all timed perfectly. The angst level was pretty low as well.
The story flowed naturally and the script was well written. Directing was excellent.
I loved the brand placing of ZTao’s apparel in several of the scenes. He’s a clever business man on top of being an excellent actor and talented musician.
There must be some sort of regulation in China that disallows wedding ceremonies to take place over the last few years. There is plenty of alluding to ceremonies, but very few that actually take place. This drama was no exception to this. Everyone was at the venue, dressed and ready to go and poof! Bride and groom are gone.
All in all this is a good drama, and it’s quite nice to see those on the right side of the law win in the end.

I came looking for a cute heartwarming drama and I got exactly that. Beautifully done!
You know a drama is good when it has all the usual tropes and cliches but you still absolutely love it!It's a little predictable but you still enjoy watching it unfold. The leads were just so adorably natural that I believed them.
It's a slice of life/coming of age romance that gave me lots of smiles. I especially love the way the happy and the sad were interwoven to produce a heart-warming story.
Were there areas that I could criticise? I'm sure there were but seriously, this is one of the few dramas, I can't remember any points 'cos I was too caught up in the story and acting to care.
And may I just make a special mention of the ML's voice!!! Dunno if it was really him or if he was dubbed but I really REALLY loved the voice (so much so it made me overlook the hair!😜)
