A must watch!

I loved the storyline, TraveltimeDream wow, who hasn't dreamt they were in a different era? I have many times. Dreaming of the future can happen. That's how the Revelations in the Bible were written. I love every bit of this storyline from the first episode to the last episode. There is some action that will make you jump. The visuals were great! Some martial arts but not a lot. The martial art was done by Z. Tao who played Lu Xun and I must say he was good at it. Don't know if he was trained for this drama or if he already knew Taekwondo. AN EXO member, I'm impressed, I can hardly wait for his future dramas. Song Zu Er who played Qian Wei is always good whenever I see her in other dramas. I really enjoyed this storyline so I thank the writers, producers, staff, and the rest of the supporting actors/actresses.

It is legally a romance!

To watch the ending, click on the final "Watch credits" at the end of Episode 33, and it's an epilogue after ending credits.

This was an excellent romance with terrific main leads. The theme was our ethics, moral decisions and life-mapping choices from youth to maturity.

The male lead is a bit eccentric, deeply loyal, very unique, with a strong moral compass. He has a manly voice, creative appearance and authentic character. He keeps his emotions to himself until push comes to shove.🙋‍♂️

The female lead is smart, skillful, but lacks good self-confidence due to a shattering loss in her younger days. This isn't really a time travel and deals more with premonitions and brain waves, reminding me of "While You Were Sleeping." She overcomes and resolves the issues in attitude which held her back from recognizing her full potential.

It's a touching love story with a decidedly misguided love triangle. The acting of the male lead is a champion caliber in masking his feelings and intentions. He shows vast improvement in how he learns to express his feelings and display his love and affection. So yes, it is legally a romance! 😍

I hesitated to watch it because I thought it might be a stuffy law drama full of court cases with a bossy lawyer and his assistant. It's more like a great university drama dealing with the motivations of law students, and how their choices and paths diverge through adulthood, culminating in their choices of life partners. I'm grateful to the person who recommended it to me as a romance.🌷🌹

Done just right

I started this drama because I wanted something lighter. Been on a bit on a Song Zu Er kick lately, so thought, "why not?" Though I have not watched Huang Zi Tao act before, I have to say- Wow. Just wow. He is the definition of "plastic surgery acting"- meaning, he becomes better looking the more he acts. The on screen chemistry is electric- from rival banter to loving embrace- just perfect. The plot remained consistent and engaging while the music helped carry instead of just being added. Just when I was getting itchy to skip, I was sucked back in. So refreshing to see a drama on the lighter side without losing itself to cliches and silly plot points. Exactly right for what it is. And if you do stay to the end, stay allllll the way to the end. Enjoy!

Swooning for 33 episodes

I just finished this drama & need to share my feelings about this truly wonderful drama.
(small spoilers at the end)

First let me thank:
- the amazing scriptwriter for writing not only the drama but also creating such wonderful and emotionally healthy main leads <3
It was EXTREMELY refreshing to see & experience.
- the two main lead actors who brought them QW & LX to live. It was my first time seeing both of them and they‘ll be engraved as those characters in my brain. I was swooning soo much and their interactions felt sooo natural.
It didn’t feel like acting, it felt like they were really experienced their story.
- the director & supporting cast for creating a lovely set up, wonderful family & friends surrounding the main leads.

The Pros:
- the romance… I don’t think I have ever seen sooo many kisses in a drama! And I don’t mean the starring-into-each-others-eyes-and-then-kiss kisses but rather those that just happens in daily activities. Came home from work? Here‘s a kiss. You look cute today - kiss. Kiss kiss kiss 😘
aww it was wonderful ~
Also other types of daily skinship that would actually happen in real life.
- the ML who always liked FL and his bossy behavior in the first episode was explained so quickly that I fell for him on the spot. How refreshing!! I could write a whole essay on his character alone but without spoiling I just wanna say how much i loved his character & love for FL.
- the bickering couple. You know often „bickering couple“ is just an excuse for toxic relationship in asian dramas and where ML treats FL like trash, but here they’re really just bickering and flirting, while also supporting each other & overcome struggles.

The Cons:
…really there is just one bad thing to say about this drama and that was that the last 3-4 episodes felt a bit off as they suddenly focused on the shady side of law. But in the midst there was also romance, that I ate up like good cake ^^
I would have preferred if they didn’t suddenly make it into a suspense law/crime drama and but the ending itself I loved - so all is well!
It just made me rate it 9.5 instead of 10/10

…anyways I loved it & it‘s probably my favorite contemporary ceo & employee romcom cdrama :))

Not likable FL

I don't understand why a person of 28/29 years old who regrets her life decisions would keep acting as a 19 years old teenager when she is given another chance of redoing her choices. In fact, it's pretty easy to understand why she failed first time by just watching the two first episodes. And I don't know the reason why a paralegal with many years of experience working for a competent lawyer and big firm would act as a completely amateur. I think the scriptwriter forgot she has come back from 10 years in the future and she's not a teenager anymore. Because if she was going to act reckless and without a serious self reflection, this drama already failed for me. If the scriptwriter is waiting for give us that later, so the timing is wrong. I saw 5 episodes and she seems to be satisfied with using what she knows from the future or using the ML to get a better place in this life, and it makes she to be totally unlikable for me, because she didn't want a chance, she wanted to all be given to her. And the ML gives it all to her, but she can't tell it. So I could not continue to watch more. I feel sorry for the actor who plays the ML, because we can see that he did the best he could... But the actress over infantilized her character who was already immature... But I don't think the result would be different because the script miss the main point. It's not about a teenager growing up into an adult. It's an adult in a teenager body trying to make the right choices that her teenager version couldn't do. She should have "character development", but with the right starting point. The ML also seems to be the same during those 10 years too... he's the type of a mature guy with cold facade and warm heart. But nothing sounds good enough to keep me watching it.

Brilliant romantic comedy

This story of a woman going back in time to ‘solve’ her present life, including her contentious relationship with her boss, is so well made and cleverly written. It brings together all of the best romantic tropes of office romance and college drama but delivers them in surprising and delightful ways. It has huge emotional moments mixed with a lot of laughs. Our heroine is smart, kind and determined (sometimes ruthless) whilst our hero is upright, devoted and shrewd. I’m only at episode 14 but I can’t wait to see how they reconcile the changes she’s experiencing once she returns to the present. I’m loving this drama!

De toda forma, eu recomendo esse drama para quem gosta e já teve contato com plots semelhantes (Lovely Runner, Love for Love's Sake, The Romance of Tiger and Rose, Don't Disturb My Study, Erased e Lost Romance).

Second lead Syndrome - A revanche

Cute, feel-good, funny, and a must watch for ZiTao's fans

I won't hide from you that I rushed into this drama for ZiTao (I have been his die-hard fan since "The Brightest star in the sky" and the discovery of his music and his career).

ZiTao fits more to the character (singer, musician, star) of "The Brightest star in the sky", but the character he plays here is more mature, more attentive, in short, the perfect lover that all girls dream of. And he's still just as talented and handsome (despite his improbable idol haircut, not suited for a lawyer :)

The story here is quite realistic, from the university to the professional beginnings.
The secondary characters are well developed. They are numerous, exploring almost all the social backgrounds of students (poor, in debt, modest but with a family that supports them, well-off, used to be rich but now bankrupted, etc.). Friendship is a strong value in this drama, both for girls and boys.
The importance of family is also a recurring theme here. We are far from the clichés “evil characters” of some series. Parents are understanding, forgiving, encouraging, and all seek, each in their own way, the happiness of their children.

The “time travel/visions of the future” or “coma dream” potential is underexploited.

The tone can be realistic but also feel-good, funny, moving.
The images are beautiful, the framing well done.
The production is dynamic, without any length... The kind of drama that you watch in one go because you are glued to your screen until the end (very very cute :)

The OSTs are good, even excellent (especially the song composed and sung by ZiTao ❤❤❤❤❤❤)

As you understand, I saw it with infinite pleasure, and will watch it again without a doubt (1 or more times :)
*********************************************************
