Fall and accidentally lips meet lips?

Omaygat, I think there are only Chinese dramas that highlight good looks and beauty. It turns out that I also encountered this scene in the drama "Business Proposal"

Overall, the Korean drama "Business Proposal" is indeed similar to Chinese dramas such as the dramas "Love in Time" and "Be with You" which are studded with accidental, coincidental and 'magic' scenes.

What is meant by magic is an unreasonable scene like, suddenly Shin Ha Ri opens an umbrella for Kang Tae Moo, even though his hands were empty before, he didn't bring an umbrella. ️

There is also a coincidental scene that ends in a cliché like when Shin Ha Ri is afraid that her grandfather, Kang Tae Moo, who is desperate to defecate, pulls each other on the door handle and ends up falling for the grandfather.

The grandfather is the owner of an international company, you know, why isn't he escorted until he gets the right facilities? ️

But.., because the drama "Business Proposal" is studded with beautiful and handsome stars, I really recommend watching it for entertainment and not to be annoyed.😃😃

Very happy to see the acting and beauty of Seol In-A who once played the role of Jo Hwa-Jin in Mr. Queen, who formed a friendship with the beautiful Kim Se-Jeong

And the bromance between the handsome Kim Min-Kyu and Ahn Hyo-Seop.

That is, the drama could present a story that does not make sense. However, it is obligatory to provide maximum entertainment for the audience.

The drama that started it all

It all started with an edit of Kim Min Gue taking off his glass, and the rest is history. This is the first Korean drama I ever watched and when I tell you I was flabbergasted, awestruck, blown-away, etc... is an understatement. The cliches and tropes were so perfect! The chemistry was chemistrying! Just so in love with this show.

Unique feel-good rom-com

I usually don't enjoy rom-coms, but I couldn't stop watching this. It kept me engaged from beginning to the end. It's the first drama in a while where I didn't lose interest after a few episodes. It was an unexpected and interesting twist on known tropes, with none of the cringe moments or annoying characters that usually turn me off rom-coms. I loved the personalities of the main leads. I really loved the friendships and family bonds. The humor was hilarious. The perfect show to brighten up a long week.

a well-done silly, corny, and cringy drama!!!

i loved every second of this. this drama walked so other rich guy poor woman dramas could run. they did everything so well without making it unbearable. so much credit has to be given to the female leads, kim se-jeong and seol in-a. they played their roles so well, the drama would not have been good without them.
truly an iconic kdrama

Gives hope for a pink dream )

Such a plot has always been relevant and gives girls hope, but .. in reality, this is a rarity .. although, the Koreans are trying to show us the opposite? )
I liked it)) although sometimes YunSo and ShinHari behaved like fools (I don’t understand how such stupid behavior can be cute 😳(I see that in dramas , they (directors ) like to make the main character naive and not smart about relationships) but, in general, they shot not bad ... too pink dreams ahha impossibly so it’s even sad sometimes (let’s return to reality, in reality everyone is looking for a rich girl or a stupid and beautiful one) ... But if you still close your eyes to reality .., then the plot is beautiful) sometimes too much (when Kang Tae Mu flaunts in front of her friends, to impress them more and "save her face " ) but this is more of a Korean mentality , guessing
Ahn HyuSeop played well as always! He is so cool ( his game is amazing !!! 10 points out of 10 for him! ) He plays amazing !!! I like so much see his acting ))) Only the hairstyle doesn’t really suit him, in Abyss it was cooler (to his face) I think it’s good that they did 12 episodes and not more, everything is thought out and not drawn out, I recommend))

A romcom done right!

This has everything I want in a rom-com K-drama. It's funny, flirty, fast-paced and surprisingly heartfelt. The chemistry between the leads is electric, but the second couple... they deliver it! The pacing keeps you hooked without dragging. It balances light-hearted comedy with just enough emotion to make it memorable. It’s one of those rare dramas that knows exactly what it is and does it so well. A total comfort watch. I’d rewatch it in a heartbeat!

a little late to the trend but i made it :)

omg this show has been on my watch list for a while now and i somehow binged it in 2 days. the first night watching the first 2 episodes was so fun!! i was giggling sm!! i love the overall vibe of it and i finally didn't spoil it for myself by watching edits (i love doing that btw) all of the characters are so loveable even if they do smth bad bc its like, "yes i want to hate them, but they have such a good vibe!" i kinda wish that shim ha-ri told kang tae-moo her identity earlier but him falling for her anyway was luck tbh. cha sung-hoon and jin young-seo were so adorable and they need their own show asap bc i felt like they didn't have enough screentime :( also when cha sung-hoon wasn't upset at jin young-seo bc she forgot abt their steamy night, and he was like, "i'll make sure this time you won't forget." i was like, "oh this man can get it fr!!" tae-moo and ha-ri's relationship was so so healthy omg i need that. the fact that they balance each other out is so satisfying to watch and its an example people need to relate back to. overall i would give this show a 9.5 just bc there was so much filler minutes and people i didn't care to pay attention to.

Adorable worth the watch!

This series is a light hearted romance that makes you count down the days until the next episode is available. While some go on for too long and become repetitive or lacking storylines, so far I’m going to be disappointed when this one ends in only 12 episodes.

Ahn Hyo Seop and Kim Min Gue are super cute in the male lead / best friend sidekick. I’m invested in both of their romances, sweet with a side of humor. Of course combined they fall for the female lead and her best friend predictable but still very fun. The grandpa is hilarious in this webtoon that has rich guy trying to marry off his grandson and a rich boy falling in love with an average girl. It’s been hilarious to see the craziness of how they met and watching how their feelings evolve.

This will be on my re-watch list, I find myself wanting to watch the prior episodes already while I’m waiting for the next ones to be released. I’m nearing 110 Asian dramas and rate this one a must see.

My enlightenment on plain old romcom

I started off this series because of the promising cast and the random cuts of them on youtube. The story had the usual contract dating troupe which I usually find entertaining, so I decided to give it a go. If you’re looking for a light hearted, kind of a no-brainer drama to binge, I think you would have found a pretty decent piece.

However, it was this particular series that made me realised, I don’t only want to pursue that feel-good moment you get from watching drama but also seek the possible moral stories that could be behind it. Everyone has their own cup of tea, in my case, it was this particular cup that made me more aware of what exactly I looked for in mine.

This drama is loaded with a great cast, praised for their acting in many other series, which increased the anticipation for this show. Up till episode 9, which I left off, I was following it weekly. Initially, I found the story pretty easy-going, and it was really quite comedic honestly. The grandpa was my favourite character, being relatable in how he gets so invested in the dramas he watch and just being a great source of comedic relief. The acting was great, not much to be said with this group of renown actors, they carried out their roles well. Retrospectively, it was the story itself that felt rather lacklustre that led to the dropping of the series.

It was when the relationships for both couple started blooming, I begin to question and reflect on how I felt about the story-telling thus far. These are my thoughts and feelings looking back after watching the series some time ago. I will be listing some points of the show that bugged and rubbed me in the wrong way, which could also just be me over-analysing but let’s dive in.

To begin with, this one genuinely didn’t sit well with me, the gathering with people they didn’t seem to like enough to be honest about their current romantic status and the weird meeting at the hotel. Was it simply a plot device to move the story forward, allowing Hari the opportunity to flaunt her rich fake boyfriend? So that Taemoo can show-off on behalf Hari, letting those “friends” be so utterly impressed and envious? Those people weren’t even being kind/nice towards Hari! It can be argued that he was standing up for his girl, to make sure she doesn’t get embarrassed. But what sort of message is the writer enforcing? One, she didn’t need another person to prove what she’s worth, especially not to those insignificant AND mean people. Two, the idea of what a “good” partner is being portrayed seems to be rather shallow; be rich, handsome and showy in front of others.

Next, I mainly stayed on till ep9 because I was looking forward as to how the second couple will develop. But once they got together I was like, wait a minute, what exactly did they do to suddenly be together again? From my memory, Youngseo had been the one actively trying to initiate interactions, and each time, Sunghoon very clearly drew the line. Though they have been having good feelings for each other since the first meeting, the get together felt rather abrupt and awkward. BECAUSE Sunghoon didn’t even seem to be emotionally invested right up till the kiss. We can justify the arc when he chased down the creepy neighbour as him showing concern, otherwise it had been feeling quite one-sided on Youngseo’s end to me. I was happy for our girl to finally get the guy she’s been wanting but again, it wasn’t very satisfying. Maybe I was the one who didn’t have enough connection with Sunghoon’s character to feel that their union was well deserved.

Also, going back to the plot of the spy cam/hidden camera, the handling of that particular conflict, again, did not sit well with me. When we were shown the imaginary eyes staring down on Youngseo in the toilet after the incident, I actually thought they were trying to address the prevalence of such issues and the effects. Plot twist, it was just a mode to create another “significant” moment for the second leads. Instead of at least trying to addressing the possible trauma that people can get from such acts, it was used as a means to create connection between Youngseo and Sunghoon? While I wasn’t expecting a deep dive into the effects of being a victim to such crimes, it was brush off like a any other day accident.

Lastly, while the main actors did a great job, Sejong’s endless comedic facial expressions and antics as Hari was hilarious. But again, it’s the story itself that made me feel cringe. A supposed genius businessman took a pretty darn long time to put the pieces together. He even met Hari and saw videos of her, straight on, multiples times, on multiple occasions……. Taemoo was written in a way where spending money on the person he love is his love language, but his character itself didn’t resonate with me. Which made it hard for me to feel engage with the main leads’ stories. Personally I enjoy slow burn romances but this series felt like a whole rollercoaster of unspoken feelings showed in the form of throwing cash around instead of a slow built up in the relationship.

All in all, these are offhandedly the reasons why I couldn’t truly enjoy this series despite many praises from others. As I mentioned, we all look for different things in what we consider to be an enjoyable drama, this just wasn’t the one for me. The story left a lot to be desired and wasn’t able to adequately touch on plots/topics that was brought up.

Once more, if you’re just looking for a good laugh after a long and tiring day, this series probably can put a smile on your face. However, if you appreciate dramas that lingers on, making you ponder and reflect, this isn’t the go-to.

WORTH WATCHING

Love this drama one of the best dramas... I love all the characters' acting skills is soooo good .....I have watched till ep 6 and it was soo good full of entertainment. waiting for the new episode hope the further episodes will be the same (fun ) . Love it soo much everyone should watch it . If you have not watched the drama yet please go and watch.....

Only this doesn't make any sense

That a person becomes unrecognisable just by putting on a wig and makeup on her face and her wig doesn't even look different from her real hair she looks same with or without makeup and she also behaves the same... and her attitude, voice all are same... I know it is a drama but they should have done better

Apart from this, I love this drama ......worth watching ⌚

i have shamelessly watched this series a full four times

cliche tropes left and right, typical poor girl and rich ceo, the fried chicken shop, contract relationship, steamy kisses (like hello??? the glasses scene ???), two pairs of amazing best friends?? literally have never enjoyed best friends in any drama more than this one super realistic the way they act with each other i love them so much! and the OST is great i listen to it all the time! is this super dramatic cliche sometimes borderline red flag-y and frustrating from misunderstandings? occasionally, but i feel like it was all done really well so that the show is still enjoyable despite all of that. it’s honestly pretty funny as well and i absolutely ADORE kim sejong’s acting, she absolutely kills her character! i really hope they come out with a season 2!!!

Tropey af but hilarious

Having just finished twenty one twenty five this exactly what I needed. There's nothing particularly original about the premise but the execution is spot on. As a romantic comedy it is light, breezy and very watchable.

The good
An easy, feel-good show after a busy week. Standout for me is the humour which only gets better as the episodes go on. Plenty of laugh out loud moments, particularly from the supporting cast. The dynamite drink scene and archaeopteryx are comedy gold.
The SFL and SML have a romance which is just as good, if not better than the two leads. In fact, all the cast clearly have good off-screen chemistry. Waiting for a K-drama with Seol In-ah and Kim Min-kyu as leads now!
Ha-ri is so likeable because she is determined and pragmatic. Her and Young-seo are the ultimate chaotic duo.
While I found Hyo-seop as Tae-mu a bit wooden at times, he succeeds in being the lovable dork who takes himself too seriously.
The Grandpa spends a lot of time huffing and scheming but I'm all for it.

The bad
Literally every K-drama trope. Not gonna win any awards but that's not why we're all watching it.
The first few episodes didn't exactly wow me but it's almost like the writers listened and cranked up the humour. At first I thought 12 episodes would be the right length but the ending did feel rushed. Personally not a fan of the long distance/time skips when they are shoved into one episode. Would have been nice to see more of them as a fully fledged couple and Grandpa giving them his blessing.
