Mafia shi
Sep 20, 2022Kinnporsche is quite a different ride, this drama was recommended to me by a friend. So I had some hopes up with it and then I realize that we don't have the same taste in dramas...
Although mafia theme shows are something I am a huge sucker for, I can say that Kinnporsche kept me hooked to continue watching until the next episodes. Although, I did skip some scenes that didn't feel relevant to the main plot. There are some sub plots that kinda just was there to fill up some spaces, some loved it but personally for me I did not. I guess the only subplot I really liked was VegasPete. It's toxic, I know that, and typically speaking I wouldn't want that relationship either as that will drive me insane (not in a good/kinky way yk).
Personally for me, I think it was the casts that made up for the underwhelming plot of the series. I think the way the actors portray their characters make you turn off your brain and just take in whatever is happening without any complaints.
As for anything else, I just wanna emphasize on the ending? It's a little serrated... I feel like it wasn't a full closure...? or maybe they kept it open for season 2...? I feel like there was just some questions that should have been answered. But it is what it is...

Kinnporsche is absolutely phenomenal I don't know how this show is only an 8.1 I've watched shows rated 9.0 and above that weren't as good as this! It was a thrill from beginning to end. Every single actor aced their characters and when you watch the special clips between episodes on iQiyi you can see just how much time and dedication went into making this show. I am so grateful for everything the actors and producers did to create such a masterpiece. It delivers way more than the synopsis promises.Reviews on Twitter, Instagram and Youtube raved about this show I knew it was going to be a good one and held off watching it for a while so that I didn't peak in the BL genre too soon - but this has got to be the peak right?? I binged this show for 2 days, just couldn't leave it alone. The plot is so strong and full of action and there is no direction it doesn't take you in. Shows that aren't afraid to show you the darker side of their characters and their world only serve to draw you in much deeper and that's exactly what you get with this show.
BDSM warning - ep 12 there is some BDSM between one of the supporting couples so if you're not a fan you can skip past it, it doesn't impact the story in a big way if you do and they make a short reference to it later so you know that it happened and its relevance to the characters.
There is major character development for the main and supporting cast and you are carried through all the highs and lows with the characters. And as some other reviews may suggest there is plenty of intimacy on screen (if you're watching the 'La Forte' version as I think the 'TV version' removes the sex scenes). I enjoyed the imtimacy and it was some of the best I've seen in the BL genre so far but even without it the story is so freaking amazing you don't need it there to enjoy the show.
Just watch it, you won't regret it!

I thought I was missing out
Yet I wasn't, I believe this show is hyped up maybe because there are little bls out there that there is the mafia boss as a male lead.The story at the start seems a little dull and preferred when it was the minor family trying to destroy the major family as the pace started picking up and we got a true picture of the characters and their intentions in that life.
Porsche at times was shallow and so naive and hated how he was happy most of the time. Porsche made some stupid mistakes like not fully communicating how he felt to others but felt sorry for him when he discover what happened to his parents as he had to grow up too quick to protect his brother from harsh reality.
Kinn yes was the only sane sibling of the major family and hey he is the most forgettable character out of everyone.
I cried for Vegas (my favourite character) so many times as he is so misunderstood by everyone. His father thinking he is a failure at everything so font let him express his true character. The major family thinking he can't be trusted as he wants their power and status. He and Porsche were great friends as he helped out with his issues.
Pete at first thought he was that reliable friend you can count on for anything yet he has greater depth you have to look for. His pain of falling in love with a member of the minor family while supposed to be loyal to the major family.
Tankhun was a welcome relief as he was so unique and yes weird but you can't help but fall in love with him
after some time after completing it i have decided to up some of thr scores as kp cant leave my head and will see me watching some of my favourite scenes in it.

Kinnporsche
I felt the drama had everything which should be there in a story. There was love, heartbreak, betrayal everything. The characters were portrayed so beautifully by the actors. First coming to our second lead couple Vegas and Pete character was so complex. He was a psychopath but the way he changed for Pete is so endearing. From having a master pet relationship to having a lovers' relationship, their journey was worth it. Now coming to Kim and Porchay, they deserved so much better. We can make out from the scenes that Kim truly love Chay alot. Kim is a very strong character whereas Chay is a ball of fluff. I hope we get to see more of them in second season. Now coming to our main couple Kinn and Porsche. Their story had lots of ups and downs but their love for each other was so strong. Kinn is truly happy when he is with Porsche. Their story started on a bumpy road but towards the middle and end of the series, their love is for each other is sooooo much. They went from 'I will kill you' to 'I will kill FOR you'. Great Chemistry Between Leads!
One of the best BL’S I’ve seen. Why?… Mainly the extreme, believable, physical chemistry between the male leads. Actually everything about this drama is impressive, but mainly the physical contact between Nattawin Wattanagitiphat who plays Porsche and Phakphum Romsaithong who plays Kinn. Both absolutely gorgeous I might add! The plot, writing and especially the directing were excellent. I didn’t give it a 10, because a couple of very unnecessary characters were in it. I felt that if this BL Drama cut out all the comedy (Thanayut Thakoonauttaya), and just stayed serious, it would have been so much better. This is a definite watch if you like really good physical scenes, “mafia like” plots, and drop dead gorgeous actors, this is the one for you.Was this review helpful to you?
🥰😍😘💞🤩💕😻❤️🔥It is a great series. I love the story, the characters, the theme songs and the actors are very talented. The male leads and side characters are all so good looking, ang popogi nila makalaglag panty. It is a must watch series. I just wished it was longer, more episodes, go for season two. the series is so romantic and their acting/feelings they are all natural, hindi sila naiilang sa scenes. The bed scenes were really really hot to handle nakakabaliw sa kilig at intense. Grabe yung emotions feel na feel mo talaga.

There is so much to talk about that I won’t go in chronological order because it’s too much. So, I’m going to start with what I hated the most…BAD THINGS
Vegas and Pete
What in the Stockholm syndrome? First of all, I DESPISED Pete’s and Vegas’s relationship. For me this is personally where KinnPorsche took a very dark twist and a psychological turn. I saw many people trying to justify this relationship however, I think it’s not right. Vegas tortured Pete with no mercy which already SCREAMS RED FLAG!!! Yes there were moments were both of them seemed to be fond and vulnerable of one another but, that’s were Pete’s Stockholm Syndrome kicks in and Vegas is clearly a mentally unstable individual and his daddy issues don’t justify it even though I will admit he suffered a lot himself. Vegas deserves to rot in prison and Pete needs a psychologist. Its Cleary shown Vegas is actually a psychopath. The definition of psychopath: “someone who exhibits a large number of traits typically associated with the concept of psychopathy” He showed SO MANY traits here are just SOME- He’s stimulation-seeking, unempathetic, aggressive, highly manipulative, a chronic liar, superficially charming, self-important, sadistic, he lacks remorse, lacks morals, lacks self-preservation instincts, makes his own rules, has unrealistic goals, commits a lot of crimes, is sexually promiscuous and the list goes on. This
relationship made me want to bleach my eyes out Also are we going to forget he tried to r*ape Porsche more than once???
Kinn and Porsche
This one had me confused but it certainly wasn’t the healthiest relationship either yet because it was so romanticised (all of these relationships are tbh) it was easier to watch. Firstly, the communication was absolute sh*t between them. The trust between them wasn’t even there at times after they even promised each other “no more secrets” but I do understand that both of them suffered a lot and the environment they lived in also made trusting someone difficult. Lastly, Kinn sa Porshe and we just moved on from that and Kinn just gas lighted him through the show.
Kim and Chay
I NEED more screen time for these two. I would be lying if I said a part of didn’t ship them. Yet isn’t it strange how Chay is your stereotypical teenager who is obsessed with his favourite singer and then BOOM the two are in a relationship (okay Chay is living the Y/N life and I’m just jealous) However this relationship did seem rushed after Chay said he loves Kim the day after he confessed. Obviously what Kim did wasn’t okay however, it wasn’t the worst and I totally need more of them.
Tankhun- There is literally nothing to say he’s the best character. He’s iconic, funny, smart at times tbh and just a legend
Unanswered questions I have
. Why and how was Tawan alive if he was considered dead?
. What was going with the Italian guy?
. Who ACTUALLY killed Porsche’s dad?
. Why didn’t Chay question about what happened at the bar?
List goes on…
There was also unnecessary sex scenes it was okay at the beginning but hem it got too much and got boring.
Good Things
. The Cinematography had me screaming because it was so beautiful and just WOW
. The acting was TOO good
. The intro is a banger
In conclusion it wasn’t perfect I have many unanswered questions and I can’t fully recall the plot. Yet for some reason I absolutely love this show even though at times it didn’t make sense I rlly enjoyed it. It very different from other bl’s and it was nice to see one that takes place outside of high school. I’m also a big fan of the “mafia vibe/trope” because it’s something different. The glamorisation of abusive and toxic relationships was way too much. Will I come back to watch it though??? ABSOLUTLEY.

best bl ever
it was the raison i didnt fail at my final exam, my only motivation was “kp new ep in 4 days i cant di3!!!😭😭😭”it was really something else, its just my opinion but this was the best bl i have ever seen.
it made me cry my ass off, laugh my ass off, worry my ass off.
if you just tiny bit interested in bl s maybe this is not the best to start with bc it is soooo sexyyyy but if you dont mind to see physical touch you have to see this
also for someone who seen many bl s and considering to watch it or not: watch it.
this show have its soft spots but also it makes your soul jump out of your body bc it is exciting

I'm an orphan by this series
I finished it now and I already feel like an orphan. I was afraid they would forget Vegas at the end, but I'm glad they didn't. I don't know why, but I feel like there will be a second season. I wait!!!!! I really liked the fact that the series had a good length, and in addition, in my opinion, there was no boring or tiring subplot. the writer or writers knew how to behave well. As I said, some questions were left open (SECOND SEASON, COME!!), but even if there weren't, she knew how to close it well.Was this review helpful to you?

I loved it! Despite how the show is fairly mature i watched this show while it was coming out and i think it was my second bl that i ever watched. Honestly the one of the only shows that i remember the names of all of the characters. It was so cool. It is fairly rare to find a mafia thingy so this was really good. It explored topics like abuse, mafia, gay love, betrayal, and death. It is a show that makes you cringe, fell happy and sad. There are deaths that were close to my heart but does have a happy ending.Great show i recommended to everyone.

2 words: guaranteed entertaining
No wonder I kept seeing this name pop up even when I wasn't actively in the BL community consuming the content. Honestly this show scratched everything I needed from a mafia x fighter/body guard/bartender and then some. Honestly has raised the bar for me - I definitely see where all the hype was coming from.2 things to note though: why were some of the deaths of characters who had a fair bit of screen time not mourned at all?????? Secondly, Pete and Vegas.......... see at first I was impressed cause they started showing Pete's PTSD signs after he escaped from his kidnapping and I thought that was going to lead down a path of understanding how Tankhun's kidnapping changed him too - a sort of cross over moment. Instead it was barely discussed and we just? Are expected to start shipping them? I'm confused. The shift was too dramatic and while I definitely definitely see and appreciate the complexities of Vegas (I think he's the most interesting character in the show) I think there was more time necessary spent on Pete and his recovery before he slips back to him. It makes it hard to root for them at all.
But of course, as with the genre I realize mafia romances are not healthy most of the time, but I will not say much of KinnPorsche. Honestly they were cute for the most part, I thought the cheesy factor took a huge one up the last third which was in such contrast to everything else happening that I felt like I couldn't really appreciate it as much. Also didn't expect to be so involved in Porchay but his rebellious streak got me, want to see him and Kim interact more.
Re: Vegas. I can't help but be drawn to characters like that. Not at all a perfect or even good person, but the way they showed his personality? The cool aloof persona that melted away and he was practically crying more than not for the remainder of the show. His inferiority instilled in by his dad and his urges that he took out on Pete. I found him so so interesting - again! Not in a way to excuse his actions, just. Very interesting element of the show. I was more on the edge of my seat seeing where he was going than the main two in the last couple episodes, I have to admit.
As I speak of him, I think all the characters were, to some extent, there for a purpose so I felt like time spent with them was well rewarded. The episode lengths were so satisfying and honestly, now I'm curious what the dynamic between KinnPorsche is like after this whole Major and Minor family business merged.
The show was shot well, the grandiose of the mafia house was definitely there, and honestly, I loved Porsche's family home. Such a cute house. The dialogue had me laughing and making comments out loud to myself all throughout and I practically watched the entire show in 24 hours so they definitely got me!

I’m going to give you guys a very honest and spoiler free review of this series. If you’re looking to watch this series and want to know what you’re getting into ( the good and bad) because perhaps your a bit picky with your dramas like me this is for you! Now this series is simply a masterpiece out of the 72 bl’s I’ve seen this one sits in the top 3 with out a doubt, that being said even the best series come with there flaws. Let’s get into it :DThe acting: When i say the acting was F.L.A.W.L.E.S.S. I mean it, the actors did an incredible job in every scene and the chemistry between the main characters was phenomenal to the point where i could feel the tension in every moment through the screen. You can really feel and see the emotions of each character through the show to the point where you may find yourself feeling incrediably emotional ( these characters will pull at your heart strings they really will) If you’re looking for a series where you don’t have to sigh at dull acting and empty sounding words then this series wont disappoint you at all. Not to mention some of these actors are acting for the first time i was very impressed when i found out!
The characters: There is so much depth to each character it’s incredible, you really connect with each character as you follow along to the story (perhaps a little to much) and you really learn about who each person is and why they are the way they are. Something I personally enjoyed was that you even get to learn about some of the “bad guys” if you will, you can really connect and form your own opinions about them as well and that is something i find is a unique factor in a series. If you want relatable, real characters with stories, fears, flaws, personality, sass sand much more this series will keep you engaged.
❗️Important❗️The romance: Now I should start by mentioning there is quite a bit of spice that will have you putting on headphones and hiding under covers blushing feverishly, in the least spoiler way possible you will see more then most bl’s will dare to go, that is if you watch the uncut version of the series (there are 2 versions of the series, KinnPorsche and then KinnPorsche: La Forte the full uncut version so keep that in mind.) As i mentioned before the main actors have tension you can feel through the screen and they keep you engaged and squealing at every moment. I personally found that although the relationship didn’t start all glitter and unicorns it defiantly developed in a good and over all healthy manner (in bl wolrd standards by any means), there where points in time where i found my self grumbling in my pillow because of a certain situation where one character was simply just being stupid however that simply can not be avoided and it certainly played a part in the storyline. They are a super cute couple that are soft and understanding to each other and through time they learn to fully trust one another and you will love them. However there is a second couple within the series that has a less favorable relationship. As i refuse to spoil if your uncomftroable with abuse/ toxic relationships that do not “necessarily” get better you should keep in mind that there will be unsettling content within the series to watch out for.
❗️Important❗️Violence: Of course i had to add that there is quite a bit of violence through out the series, guns, knifes, other weapons, blood, wounds, death that goes beyond simply background characters if thats something that you can not handle, fighting, and overall unsettling content to some viewers who may be considered sensitive. To me personally this wasn’t an issue and it really only added to the story however watch with this warning in mind!
Storyline, engagement, production and plot(no spoiler ofc): Now as someone who finds themselves distracted often enough and gets bored easily i would like to put in a word that this series had me fully engaged. I wasn’t skimming through episodes or stopping half way to “ finish later” just to start a new series out of literal boredom. No i was on the edge of my seat (should i say bed) at every moment excited to see more. I kid you not I did not sleep i was too eager to move on to the next episode to find out more. I was fully engaged in each episode and the plot is just amazing. I mean it’s no secret that KinnPorsche revolves around the mafia and it doesn’t do so in a crappy way, it was written well and all the events went together and played a big role in uncovering secrets through the episodes. Everything connects in the end, there isn’t just useless scenes thrown in for no reason as filler. Not to mention there is also story line beyond that of the mafia which is just really nice to have. Also the music the filming the scenes all that good stuff is just a sold 10/10 the visuals where STUNNING you need to watch it for yourself because i can not describe it in words. You will find yourself wrapped around this series finger take my word for it!
Over all thoughts: I think I’ve said just about everything i can say thats spoiler free, If you don’t mind the warnings I gave and from my opinions you think this series is going to be enjoyable get to it because it’s a bit of a lengthy one and do sleep if its the evening!)
