It's worth the wait
At the first two episodes, it's kinda slow paced, but just wait and see, it's gonna blow your mind! This is the first Chinese drama I've ever watched, and made me set a really high standard on C-drama because it's so good. It's not boring despite the setting is time loop, because it surprises you on every loop they passed, not to mention, the revelation and closure for each characters, it was really neat, I really enjoy it.
The casts also did an amazing work, everyone of them acted flawlessly, they made me emotional in every scene, they can project their emotion and make us feel what they feel.
I love how the length of the drama is perfect, not too short nor too long, it's just as long as it's needed.
This drama is a whole package: a really good story with amazing acting in an amazing execution. Highly recommended for those who loves fantasy, thriller, crime drama.

A fantastic use of the timeloop concept
It's not easy to do a timeloop show well, because it's about the same event over and over and you need to keep it fresh somehow. This show excelled at showing just how much exists around a fixed point in time -- the people, their lives, their stories... Though it's the same event repeated over 10 episodes, you never feel bored. Each episode explores a different character on the bus and their stories and experiences, and there's also a good amount of tension, dread, and shock to keep you stricken and guessing. The cast was truly fantastic here -- the two leads have good chemistry and even better acting. You feel for their existential dread as they're trapped going through the same horrific event over and over. Sadly this is not a very rewatchable series because once you know the 'why', the episodes all make sense, and the suspense and mystery that drives you to keep watching is totally resolved. One of the best dramas I've ever watched imo.Was this review helpful to you?

solid and packed storyline
I have so many good things to say about this drama, I don’t know where to begin but first off, the story is nicely-written and editing is well done. I usually hate the editing in cdramas but this is one of the fews that’s edited really well. However, I wish they had explained more about how the two characters got stuck in the time loop and I found the ending to be a bit forced(I don’t know if it’s the correct word) but even without these, it’s a good drama that I could easily get anyone anticipate till the very end.The chemistry of the cast is also quite great, taking the audience along to sympathize and question as the plot goes. Both Bai Jingting and Zhao Jinmai did very well in terms of acting, as well as the senior actors, it’s quite flawless. This kind of drama isn’t something you would give a rewatch but you would remember it for a long time once you’re done watching.

I wish I had watched this sooner.
While this isn't my usual genre of Chinese drama, it was undeniably captivating. I began with minimal expectations, spurred by curiosity after watching Bai Jingting's performance in another drama. It gripped me within the first 10 to 15 minutes, a rarity in my drama-watching experience, and I ended up finishing it in less than 24 hours.
The dynamics between the leads were impeccable. The dialogue was concise, with no unnecessary or cringeworthy moments. The romantic elements were delicately balanced, with their emotions unfolding beautifully. (And I may have been overly emotional, but that scene where they shared a warm embrace by the seashore brought tears to my eyes for reasons I couldn't quite explain.)
Midway through the drama though, I was convinced that Lu Di would become their ally. I imagined the three of them forming a chaotic, yet entertaining, trio whose journey would be delightful to watch. However, I was rather sad when this did not come to pass. :[
Overall, it was an enjoyable journey! While such cooperation is rare in real life, it was heartwarming to see all the passengers work together with strangers for mutual safety. My only complaint is that I craved more—15 episodes simply weren't enough.

Unexpected Twists
I've seen the time loop trope done so many times that I wasn't really sure what to expect coming into this ... but wow, the story was unexpectedly thrilling, had a great storyline, and was filled with interesting characters that you could relate to and/or empathize with.Every episode I felt contributed to the overall story, and there wasn't any moment where it felt like they were filler scenes. Production, acting, story - all were high quality, and you could tell they really put a lot of thought into the making of this drama. I've watched so many cdramas with at least double the length of this, but this really did feel like the perfect length to me, because nothing dragged on - I personally wouldn't have even minded if it was extended to an episode or two more, but this felt like the perfect ending to a great drama.
Highly recommend giving this a watch!

Pretty decent
First off...this is the shortest C-Drama I've ever watched...that being said, it wasn't drawn out or overdone! I think it was well presented, and the stories were explicit. I loved it. I loved how they took the time to tell almost everyone's story who was on the bus...at least the ones who they suspected. When the leads found out who the culprit was, I was like...why are there so many episodes left? Get the bomb off the bus, and you're good to go. However, it developed into so much more once the real culprits were discovered, and I loved how the story was written in such a way that you cared for every passenger by the end of the series. It is a must-watch for sure. I don't think it needed a romantic line, but they didn't dwell on it too much for it to be awkward. To me, it came out of nowhere, and it felt a bit out of place. I'm glad they started the romance off with a hug and not a kiss. As a romance fan, I would've been okay with a deep connection at the end because the drama didn't need it, in my opinion. Still a good watch. I love this kind of drama. Was this review helpful to you?

ABSOLUTELY SPECTACULAR SHORT DRAMA
Everything about this drama is perfect to the very last episode. My heart never raced so fast and I was out of breath because of how amazing the plot was. I wasn't expecting any romance, so I was surprised for that subplot and it didn't have to be the main focus it was nicely done. The chemistry between the two actors is so good, I hope to see them act together in another one!! As well as the rest of the supporting and background characters, they have all done such a great job.
Overall, I think this has been one the greatest short drama and time-slip plot, as someone who loves time loops and time travel, this has become one of my absolute favorites. I highly recommend it to all !!

Time Loops, Mystery & Twist!
"Reset" is a thrilling Chinese mystery series that dives into the wild concept of time loops. If you liked "The Final Destination," you’ll definitely find some cool similarities here, but this show has its own unique flair. The story follows Li Shi Qing, a college student who finds herself in a serious mess when her bus explodes. Every time she dies, she wakes up on that same day. At first, she thinks it’s just a weird dream, but soon she realizes she’s caught in a time loop and needs to figure out how to break free.Things get interesting when she manages to frame a fellow passenger, Xiao He Yun, as a pervert, which lets them both escape the bus. By pulling him into her chaotic situation, she inadvertently brings him into the time loop as well. But the drama doesn't stop there—Xiao gets seriously hurt in the explosion anyway! Li Shi Qing struggles to explain everything to some skeptical police officers, and it’s a real rollercoaster ride as she tries to make sense of it all.
The acting is top-notch! Zhao Jinmai as Li Shi Qing totally nails those emotional scenes, and you can really feel what she’s going through. Bai Jing Ting, playing Xiao He Yun, has some powerful moments too, especially when he confronts the situation. Their chemistry is great, even though it’s not a romance.
The show is packed with clever little details that become important later, and the music—especially the opening—really sets the mood. It is a must-watch if you're into mystery thrillers. You’ll be hooked from start to finish!

EXCELLENT!!!!
Finished the drama in 3 days. The ending was so heartwarming. I love how everyone on the bus had a good ending. This drama is definitely worth the watch. I initially thought it'd be boring because it's the same scene over and over, but it was actually so well written that it didn't seem that way at all. The suspense was crazy even though I watched it after it all came out. This drama gave a really big life lesson to the audience that we should never forget the impact of the comments we leave on social media, just because they won't know the identity of the person behind the screen, we should be responsible for whatever comments we leave behind on the internet.Perverts should be reported and moreover it would do a lot of good to have someone help the victim in that situation.
I was hoping we could get to see more happy moments of our Xiao HeYun & Li ShiQing at the ending ಥ_ಥ but we were robbed.
I am currently watching Bai Jingting in one more drama called "You are my hero" and he is slaying his role there as well. Both dramas are highlyyyyuu recommended (10/10). I wish I had the power to erase some of my memories and that way I could watch this drama for the first time again hehe. The female lead was just 19 (her and me are born in same year) and she is such a gem of an actor, I will make sure to check her other works.

A drama worthy of your entire weekend!
Reset is an an exceptional Chinese drama that had me hooked from the first episode-I binged it in one sitting! The expertly executed storytelling and compelling ensemble cast brought the intriguing plot to life. The time loop concept was handled masterfully, keeping me on the edge as I tried to piece together why everything was happening. Each twist added depth making the show impossible to pause. For fans of time loop dramas, Reset is a must-watch. It's thrilling thought provoking, and endlessly engaging. Highly recommend! Was this review helpful to you?
Resetting this drama again and again...
Have you ever woken up and thought; yesterday was great, wish I can have that all over again. But what if you are caught in a day loop where you die in the bus explosion? Only to wake up on the same day and have it happen all over again and again. So, it is for a young college student, Li Shi Qing. What happened? Can she break out of the repetitive cycle? After hearing so much about this drama, I finally managed to watch it though admittedly a tad late. It is relatively short for a C-Drama, only 15 episodes which I felt it is the right pacing for this drama. They did away with any gap fillers or any attempt to drag the show longer for the sake of it. It was straight to the point.
It is easy to think this is another "Groundhog Day" drama but it is so much better. There is a slight bit of comedy and attraction but it delivers a great drama that had me guessing, what I would try next if I was in her shoes.
The drama also manages to avoid taking this drama down the scientific route, but the drama stays true to its course - suspense/thriller. It focuses on the human element, the confusion, the panic, and the different twist. It opened up the background of each person on the bus - to at times heart-warming and other times, tear-jerking moments. All the while producing a wonderful journey that is worth the ride.
The drama was different worth the hype. The lead actress Zhao Jin Mai is gorgeous and brilliant and the chemistry she shares with Bai Jing Ting is great as their relationship evolves throughout the drama. The other cast members are also excellent, notably Liu Yi Jun who plays Zhang Cheng.
The scores of the C-Dramas can be interesting, it can do or kill a show, especially when it is out of the era of the show – such as using English songs for costume drama. But the music for this drama is good, setting the right tempo.
Overall, really enjoyed this drama, I did it in one sitting over a couple of days. It was so good that it keep me glued to the sofa with the exception of the occasional toilet break and opening the door for Uber.
