I wish I had watched this sooner.
While this isn't my usual genre of Chinese drama, it was undeniably captivating. I began with minimal expectations, spurred by curiosity after watching Bai Jingting's performance in another drama. It gripped me within the first 10 to 15 minutes, a rarity in my drama-watching experience, and I ended up finishing it in less than 24 hours.
The dynamics between the leads were impeccable. The dialogue was concise, with no unnecessary or cringeworthy moments. The romantic elements were delicately balanced, with their emotions unfolding beautifully. (And I may have been overly emotional, but that scene where they shared a warm embrace by the seashore brought tears to my eyes for reasons I couldn't quite explain.)
Midway through the drama though, I was convinced that Lu Di would become their ally. I imagined the three of them forming a chaotic, yet entertaining, trio whose journey would be delightful to watch. However, I was rather sad when this did not come to pass. :[
Overall, it was an enjoyable journey! While such cooperation is rare in real life, it was heartwarming to see all the passengers work together with strangers for mutual safety. My only complaint is that I craved more—15 episodes simply weren't enough.

Unexpected Twists
I've seen the time loop trope done so many times that I wasn't really sure what to expect coming into this ... but wow, the story was unexpectedly thrilling, had a great storyline, and was filled with interesting characters that you could relate to and/or empathize with.Every episode I felt contributed to the overall story, and there wasn't any moment where it felt like they were filler scenes. Production, acting, story - all were high quality, and you could tell they really put a lot of thought into the making of this drama. I've watched so many cdramas with at least double the length of this, but this really did feel like the perfect length to me, because nothing dragged on - I personally wouldn't have even minded if it was extended to an episode or two more, but this felt like the perfect ending to a great drama.
Highly recommend giving this a watch!

Pretty decent
First off...this is the shortest C-Drama I've ever watched...that being said, it wasn't drawn out or overdone! I think it was well presented, and the stories were explicit. I loved it. I loved how they took the time to tell almost everyone's story who was on the bus...at least the ones who they suspected. When the leads found out who the culprit was, I was like...why are there so many episodes left? Get the bomb off the bus, and you're good to go. However, it developed into so much more once the real culprits were discovered, and I loved how the story was written in such a way that you cared for every passenger by the end of the series. It is a must-watch for sure. I don't think it needed a romantic line, but they didn't dwell on it too much for it to be awkward. To me, it came out of nowhere, and it felt a bit out of place. I'm glad they started the romance off with a hug and not a kiss. As a romance fan, I would've been okay with a deep connection at the end because the drama didn't need it, in my opinion. Still a good watch. I love this kind of drama. Was this review helpful to you?

Time Loops, Mystery & Twist!
"Reset" is a thrilling Chinese mystery series that dives into the wild concept of time loops. If you liked "The Final Destination," you’ll definitely find some cool similarities here, but this show has its own unique flair. The story follows Li Shi Qing, a college student who finds herself in a serious mess when her bus explodes. Every time she dies, she wakes up on that same day. At first, she thinks it’s just a weird dream, but soon she realizes she’s caught in a time loop and needs to figure out how to break free.Things get interesting when she manages to frame a fellow passenger, Xiao He Yun, as a pervert, which lets them both escape the bus. By pulling him into her chaotic situation, she inadvertently brings him into the time loop as well. But the drama doesn't stop there—Xiao gets seriously hurt in the explosion anyway! Li Shi Qing struggles to explain everything to some skeptical police officers, and it’s a real rollercoaster ride as she tries to make sense of it all.
The acting is top-notch! Zhao Jinmai as Li Shi Qing totally nails those emotional scenes, and you can really feel what she’s going through. Bai Jing Ting, playing Xiao He Yun, has some powerful moments too, especially when he confronts the situation. Their chemistry is great, even though it’s not a romance.
The show is packed with clever little details that become important later, and the music—especially the opening—really sets the mood. It is a must-watch if you're into mystery thrillers. You’ll be hooked from start to finish!

EXCELLENT!!!!
Finished the drama in 3 days. The ending was so heartwarming. I love how everyone on the bus had a good ending. This drama is definitely worth the watch. I initially thought it'd be boring because it's the same scene over and over, but it was actually so well written that it didn't seem that way at all. The suspense was crazy even though I watched it after it all came out. This drama gave a really big life lesson to the audience that we should never forget the impact of the comments we leave on social media, just because they won't know the identity of the person behind the screen, we should be responsible for whatever comments we leave behind on the internet.Perverts should be reported and moreover it would do a lot of good to have someone help the victim in that situation.
I was hoping we could get to see more happy moments of our Xiao HeYun & Li ShiQing at the ending ಥ_ಥ but we were robbed.
I am currently watching Bai Jingting in one more drama called "You are my hero" and he is slaying his role there as well. Both dramas are highlyyyyuu recommended (10/10). I wish I had the power to erase some of my memories and that way I could watch this drama for the first time again hehe. The female lead was just 19 (her and me are born in same year) and she is such a gem of an actor, I will make sure to check her other works.

A drama worthy of your entire weekend!
Reset is an an exceptional Chinese drama that had me hooked from the first episode-I binged it in one sitting! The expertly executed storytelling and compelling ensemble cast brought the intriguing plot to life. The time loop concept was handled masterfully, keeping me on the edge as I tried to piece together why everything was happening. Each twist added depth making the show impossible to pause. For fans of time loop dramas, Reset is a must-watch. It's thrilling thought provoking, and endlessly engaging. Highly recommend! Was this review helpful to you?
Resetting this drama again and again...
Have you ever woken up and thought; yesterday was great, wish I can have that all over again. But what if you are caught in a day loop where you die in the bus explosion? Only to wake up on the same day and have it happen all over again and again. So, it is for a young college student, Li Shi Qing. What happened? Can she break out of the repetitive cycle? After hearing so much about this drama, I finally managed to watch it though admittedly a tad late. It is relatively short for a C-Drama, only 15 episodes which I felt it is the right pacing for this drama. They did away with any gap fillers or any attempt to drag the show longer for the sake of it. It was straight to the point.
It is easy to think this is another "Groundhog Day" drama but it is so much better. There is a slight bit of comedy and attraction but it delivers a great drama that had me guessing, what I would try next if I was in her shoes.
The drama also manages to avoid taking this drama down the scientific route, but the drama stays true to its course - suspense/thriller. It focuses on the human element, the confusion, the panic, and the different twist. It opened up the background of each person on the bus - to at times heart-warming and other times, tear-jerking moments. All the while producing a wonderful journey that is worth the ride.
The drama was different worth the hype. The lead actress Zhao Jin Mai is gorgeous and brilliant and the chemistry she shares with Bai Jing Ting is great as their relationship evolves throughout the drama. The other cast members are also excellent, notably Liu Yi Jun who plays Zhang Cheng.
The scores of the C-Dramas can be interesting, it can do or kill a show, especially when it is out of the era of the show – such as using English songs for costume drama. But the music for this drama is good, setting the right tempo.
Overall, really enjoyed this drama, I did it in one sitting over a couple of days. It was so good that it keep me glued to the sofa with the exception of the occasional toilet break and opening the door for Uber.

This is a hidden gem
Wow! I marathon through this drama, I like actors and it is thrilling to watch. Because of this drama I am looking for more Chinese drama with thrill and suspense. Since it's thriller and suspense giving spoilers is same as killing the story so I won't but I will tell you that you won't regret spending your time watching this. The review of reset ends here. I am too lazy to write 500 words and I don't want to spoil the drama so I am copying other drama review to make it bigger. It alright if you don't read it.

TRUE LOVE CAN ALWAYS WAIT JUST LIKE A FRUIT BEARS AT THE RIGHT TIME
So much going on on this episode, let's start on Cher making the most of his moments with Boss Gun, I was touched, I can never really blame myself loving this drana on the first time I watched it, Gun without knowing that Cher was gonna leave him for a while, he was so happy.. ForceBook's acting here was so amazing I really love it, the first episodes where I thought that this drama has no path to go through, I was wrong, sometimes in love, even when we thought we should not mind other people is saying coz we know that they have nothing to do in our lives and decisions, it is also right to make things right, right? Also right to be successful first before allowing someone to enter your life so that in the near future it wont be hard for the both of you, coz I believe even when we know we love someone, love is not enough and here Cher I believe made the right decision arranging everything about his life so that he wont be a burden to Boss Gun, it was also for his pride that no one can look down on him because he became successful in his studies. Now I am about to finish this drama, only one episode left and I am missing them already ! 😭😭😭 .. literally maybe not one of the best but this drama is one of the special and memorable one for me ! And watching a drama where you like the actor playing is damn giving huge contribution right to good reviews right ? 🤣

Buckle Up for the Reset Rollercoaster!"
Reset is like a breath of fresh air in the world of time-loop dramas, stepping away from the usual Chinese speculative fiction tropes. Reset, with its daily bus explosion routine, might sound repetitive, but guess what? Every moment is like a necessary puzzle piece, making it oddly addictive. I usually stay away from time loops because they're a plot hole minefield, but Reset? Tight writing, no confusing gaps—total game-changer!Now, what sets this gem apart? Brace yourself for some character development magic! Bai Jing Ting and Zhao Jin Mai steal the limelight, but it's not a one-star show. Oh no, we're diving into the lives of other passengers and detectives too, adding layers upon layers to the plot cake. The pacing? Nailed it. You'll be glued from the get-go, with no temptation to hit that skip button.
Now, we're talking about a 15-episode rollercoaster, and every character gets a front-row seat. They're not just plot tools; they're real people with stories that matter. The main duo? They're not cardboard cutouts. Bai Jing Ting and Zhao Jin Mai bring them to life, flaws and all. And don't get me started on the supporting cast—the passengers on the bus are the heart and soul of this rollercoaster. You'll be rooting for their safety as much as the main characters are.
And oh, the performances! The cast doesn't just act; they pull you into their world of time loops and emotional rollercoasters. The unexpected romance? It's like a sprinkle of sugar in your coffee – sweet, unexpected, and it keeps you wanting more.
But here's the twist – these protagonists aren't the usual clueless bunch. No frustrating moments of yelling at the screen because they missed an obvious clue. Reset's characters are like your mystery-solving buddies, making you feel like you're right there with them, piecing things together.
Now, despite the villains and intense moments, Reset doesn't weigh you down. It's like a perfect cocktail – suspense, emotions, happiness, sadness, and a splash of humor. It's not just a drama; it's an adventure you sign up for with a grin, not a grimace. The creators? They deserve a round of applause for this masterpiece. It's clear they poured their hearts and creativity into making Reset not just a drama but a captivating and well-crafted story that leaves you wanting an encore. Cheers to the creators – they've made time loops a thrilling joyride!

interesting storyline, keeps you occupied
This drama from the start till the end, keeps you going non-stop. It's almost like a journey with the main leads - suspecting everyone, trying out different ways, going through the time loop again and again. Here's the thing, you don't know when will the last time loop be, you don't know how each time loop is gonna affect you and what would be the best solution for everyone? that's for you to find out. With just 15 episodes, you explore 8 suspects with 2 main leads, there are so much going on., but it's very interesting to find out.First off, I would like to give credit to all the actor and actresses in this show. All of them acted so well that made me invested in the story. I was watching this at night and found it thrilling towards the end (at that point when the truth unfolds).
Second, character development both leads had - from a simple minded youngster to trust and love between the both of them. At each loop, they are stuck in the dilemma to save themselves or everyone in the bus but i love how their choices change as their personality grow too.
However, this show could have been better if certain parts are more well explained. For example:
- how does this time loop thing happened?
- why does meng meng became erratic from her scared/afraid nature after the molestation
- the ending seems so easy for the police to believe the MLFL compared to the previous time loops
- why the cat guy didnt get into time loop?
I've watched a similar genre time loop drama from Hong Kong years ago called Over Run Over EU超時任務 which is as good as this. I recommend that if you enjoy this drama too :)
Overall, the rewatch value for this show is low as it would have already spoil all the fun & thrill for me already. However, for people that are hesitating/finding a good show to watch, then i would highly recommend this!!! It's a hit for me in terms of plot, acting, non-draggyness, suspense, thrill, little bit of romance.

Absolutely mind-blowing!!!
OMG, this drama is INSANE!! "RESET" is seriously on another level, the concept is so unique. It’s about Li Shi Qing & Xiao He Yun getting stuck in a time loop, trying to save the bus passengers from an explosion. Every time they die or fall asleep, they restart the same ride, HOW CRAZY IS THAT?!The cops in this drama? SO INTENSE. Super suspicious, sharp, and no-nonsense. I legit felt like I was getting interrogated too lol. And the way they filmed the time-loop scenes?? Imagine shooting the same location over and over, but with different emotions and dialogues each time. The attention to detail is NEXT LEVEL, the writers are pure genius!
I’ve never watched anything like this before. Now I can’t stop thinking… what if Korea remade it? Would it be just as epic? Either way, this drama is a PERFECT 10/10. A must-watch, NO QUESTION!!! 🔥
