the violence

the violence is so much in this drama, like the whole characters are fighting each other, the fighting scenes are so cruel to the eyes like the scene between si eun and woo Young ,it was so strong and cruel and something else at the end of the season si eun transferred school and I can tell is something worse like there's a lot of bullies in there , and in this drama the bully scenes are a lot in different ways like the physical or verbal bully ,and the bullies were so strong and at the end it was like a gang

“Weak Hero Class 1” isn’t just another school drama — it’s an emotional punch to the gut. It strips away the clichés of teenage stories and shows the raw, painful reality of youth: the loneliness, fear, and small moments of courage that define survival.
Park Ji-hoon’s performance as Yeon Si-eun is nothing short of phenomenal. He portrays quiet strength, intelligence, and vulnerability with such nuance that you can’t look away. Si-eun doesn’t fight with muscles but with strategy and resilience — a refreshing, heartbreaking twist on the usual “hero.”
The cinematography perfectly matches the tone: cold colors, tight framing, and silent pauses that speak louder than dialogue. Every punch, every bruise, and every tear feels deliberate — not glorified, but deeply human. The violence is never for shock value; it’s storytelling through pain.
What truly elevates this series is the bond between Si-eun, Beom-seok, and Su-ho. Their friendship is pure yet fragile — a glimpse of hope in a brutal world. When that bond shatters, the impact is devastating because it feels real.
The writing is sharp and fearless, exposing not just physical violence but the psychological scars that follow. It asks important questions about masculinity, isolation, and what it truly means to be strong.
“Weak Hero Class 1” is short but unforgettable. It ends not with victory, but with reflection — reminding us that strength isn’t about fighting harder, but about surviving with your humanity intact. A haunting, beautifully made masterpiece that lingers long after the credits roll.

blood

- blood (kind of a TW)
- kind of brutally
- broken (I think the main characters were sad or depressed since beginning)
The acting was incredible and I really loved the story but I hate the end. I want them to have a better ending because I think they will just live a sader life than before. The moments when they were had me smiling that’s why I want a different ending! I wonder why they didn’t speak it out and didn’t try to find a solution because it seemed like they didn’t want to fall apart. Or am I wrong?

INSANE DRAMA.

all i can say is, this drama teared me up into pieces. the acting (esp jihoon's) is insane INSANE!!! the storyline is just so it. and also the soundtracks??? YES 😫 the friendship part just did something to my heart like digging a hole in it.
i live for the season two because who doesn't want to see jihoon eat up again??! i could never get tired of recommending this drama to anybody who needs to watch this. 🩷

(also, nobody tell me to rewatch this because hell my heart is still not healing from what this drama did to me)

10/10

The main character, Yeon Sieun, is one of the quiet and reserved students. He has no friends at school or outside of it, and he has no intention of changing that—he wants to focus solely on his studies. Everything changes when he meets Ahn Suho and Oh Beomseok. His reality is no longer repetitive; instead, it becomes full of adventures.

I came across this K-drama by accident a few years ago, and it hooked me from the very beginning. What intrigued me the most was Sieun, who never smiled and was cold toward everyone. He expressed his emotions through his eyes rather than facial expressions, which I found brilliant. He wasn’t physically strong, but in physical confrontations he relied on his intelligence and cleverness. Instead of using weapons, he made use of objects within his reach to attack his opponents—for example, the famous pen or a book. Suho, on the other hand, was his complete opposite. It’s fair to say he was an energetic extrovert. He stood out for his charisma, confidence, and physical strength—he trained in boxing. Beomseok, meanwhile, was different from both of them. He came from a wealthy family but wasn’t liked by his peers. He changed schools because he was bullied and couldn’t stand up to his tormentors. He had many emotions boiling inside him, which he kept hidden—deep down, he just wanted to be liked and to fit in with his classmates. That set him apart from Sieun and Suho, who lived life on their own terms and didn’t seek others’ approval. They knew that belonging to the most popular group wouldn’t change anything in their lives.

Not wanting to give spoilers, I wrote as much as I could without revealing the plot. However, I can guarantee that the series keeps you on edge the entire time. There’s no such thing as a boring episode in this K-drama—something happens in every single one. Personally, I’m watching it again because I keep coming back to it in my memories. A second season has also been released, and it’s worth watching after finishing the first. This K-drama definitely deserves a 10/10 rating.

TEARS SHEDDED

Weak Hero Class. Where do I start?? So everything about Weak Hero Class is so amazing and unique, and the music all the way through casting is very good. Music is sad and gives you the good wave of depression, and Park Jihoon and Choi Hyun Wook (as well as Hong Kyung) did very well acting as their characters. Park Ji Hoon is PERFECT for Yeon Si-Eun, and Choi Hyun Wook is PERFECT for Ahn Su-ho, and same for Hong Kyung ( as Beomseok ) same for the rest of the casting. The ending is heartbreaking to say the least, I'm still recovering and this kdrama will ALWAYS and FOREVER be my #1. Story is just... ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and sad, but let's not put that sadness in front of this review. Go watch it NOW because you hopefully won't regret it!! I RECOMMEND BY THE WAY!!

Emotional

I have yet to see another series top the bromance genre after this one. PARK JI-HOON'S ACTING?? The whole last episode had my jaw dropped. Not to mention his pretty eyes 🤭 Anyway, I loved Si-eun and Su-ho's friendship. Those two were a perfect match. The trio was basically psycho, fighter, weakling, and it was cute to see them all stand up for each other. The fighting really had me on the tips of my toes, so I'm rating this series HIGH. I went into this show only knowing Cha Woo-min and Choi Hyun-wook, and I wasn't disappointed AT ALL. All the actors were awesome. Only characters I didn't really like were Yeong-i and like the 2 sidekicks of Yeong-bin, but that's just cause they were annoying. That shows the actors did a great job making me hate them! I rewatched this several times, so I think this one should be a top show 🏅

It is all about friendship and the bond they had with each other. Everybody should watch it. OST is also amazing. The opening of this drama slays! Can't wait for the 2nd season! 10/10

An Emotional Odyssey from Weakness to Resilience

Weak Hero Class 1 is not just a drama but a testament to the power of storytelling. It's hailed as a celebration of resilience, friendship, and the indomitable human spirit transcending the typical high school drama tropes. I strongly encourage viewers to embark on this emotional journey, as it truly is an experience that lingers in the heart long after the final episode.

The drama's ability to balance intense action with profound emotion is highlighted as a standout aspect. Fight scenes are choreographed with precision, showcasing character growth and determination. Although full of fights and actions scenes the drama never loses sight of its emotional core, allowing the audience to connect with the characters on a deep level. It explores the power struggles within high school and although it might appear somehow exhagerated it portrays a realistic description of bullism. Seeing the characters getting their retribution gives an addictive feeling of immense satisfaction.

In the unyielding narrative of this drama, the refusal to subscribe to conventional notions of forgiveness becomes a powerful thematic element. The drama emphatically communicates that there's no necessity to extend forgiveness to bullies who perpetrate harm. Instead, it champions the idea that these tormentors will inevitably face their own retribution, delivering a sense of justice that resonates deeply with the audience. This stance, while unconventional, aligns with a broader message about standing resilient against those who seek to diminish us.

The drama imparts a resounding lesson: the indomitable human spirit is a force to be reckoned with. No matter our perceived weaknesses, we possess an innate strength derived from intelligence, resilience, and an unyielding will to overcome our limits and our deepest fears. Weak Hero Class 1 becomes a rallying cry, urging viewers never to cease the fight against those who attempt to push us down. The narrative invites us to recognize our collective strength, emphasizing that our intellectual fortitude and resilience can far surpass the limitations imposed by external forces.

In the face of adversity, the characters' journeys become a source of inspiration, illustrating that one's internal strength and determination can ultimately prevail over external threats. As viewers, we are encouraged not only to empathize with the characters' struggles but to internalize the message that we, too, can emerge stronger and more resilient in the face of challenges. Thus, Weak Hero Class 1 becomes more than a drama; it transforms into a testament to the enduring power of the human spirit and a call to arms against those who seek to undermine our strength and potential.

The characters were meticulously crafted and flawlessly portrayed, with performances that are described as mesmerizing. My connection with the characters, from the timid protagonist discovering his strength to the charismatic antagonist masking vulnerabilities was truly heartfelt. Moreover, the cinematography and soundtrack were flawless, each of it was a true work of art that pictured in detail the true essence of each character's journey.

This drama is perfect 10 out of 10, a ride that won't be forgotten.

I finally finished Weak Hero Class 1... and honestly, this drama hit me way harder than I expected. I thought it would just be another school bullying action drama, but it turned out to be so much deeper, darker, and more emotional than that.

What I loved most about this drama;

* Story development ; The story was intense from beginning to end. Every episode kept building more tension, emotions, and pain without feeling repetitive. The drama showed how cruel school violence can become, but at the same time it also showed friendship, trust, loneliness, and survival in such a realistic way.

* Character development ; Yeon Si Eun is honestly one of the most interesting characters I’ve seen in a school drama. He looks physically weak, quiet, and emotionless at first, but the more the story progresses, the more we understand his intelligence, anger, loneliness, and emotional scars. Every character felt human, not just “good” or “bad.”

* Friendship ; The friendship between Si Eun, Su Ho, and Beom Seok was the emotional core of the drama. Watching them slowly become comfortable with each other made me genuinely happy, which made the painful moments hurt even more later on. Their bond felt real, natural, and heartbreaking.

* Action & tension ; The fighting scenes were raw, brutal, and realistic. What made them even more intense was the emotional tension behind every fight. It never felt like action for entertainment only — every punch carried emotions, fear, anger, or desperation.

* Acting ; The acting in this drama was absolutely insane. Park Ji Hoon especially surprised me so much. He portrayed Si Eun’s quiet rage, trauma, and emotions perfectly through even the smallest facial expressions and silence.

* Cinematography & OST ; The dark visual tone and emotional OSTs perfectly matched the atmosphere of the drama. The silent moments honestly felt even louder than the action scenes sometimes.

Weak Hero Class 1 is not just a school action drama...
It’s a painful story about loneliness, trauma, friendship, trust, and how people slowly break under pressure.

This drama made me angry, emotional, frustrated, and heartbroken all at once.

And honestly...
the ending left a heavy feeling in my chest that stayed even after finishing the drama.

Goodbye Yeon Si Eun...
You deserved so much better.

Easily became a favorite of mine

Giving this series a perfect 10/10 for the first time in a long time for kdramas. This show is absolutely incredible! It makes you feel every emotion and get so attached to the trio! I don't have a single complaint about this series at all. The acting from everyone in the cast is outstanding, especially Park Jihoon's. The way he can express so many and so much emotion with just his eyes is incredible.
I love how this show makes you feel part of their trio and betrayed by Beom-Seok when he switches sides. Even if you don't like Beom-Seok, you still feel so bad for him for everything he's been through. You fall in love with Suho and want to be his friend too. You just want Sieun to be happy and finally make friends.
I could go on and on about this show because it is just that good. I've shown it to all my friends and all of us have said that easily became one of our favorites. I've watched it many times now and it's just as enjoyable as the first time!

Mixed emotions

I did not think I would love-hate the series so much. While the story, acting is on another level, the harsh truth, bullying in schools/universities are downright insane. I cannot imagine the life of the bullied, how badly it affects their future. The leads and supporting actors have done a wonderful job in depicting the harsh reality. Its hearbreaking to see the end 😢

Although I wanted to drop it due to the violence, bullying, angst, the series kept me on edge every episode. Wish such actions reduce and students can have normal education life. I don't think I can rewatch as it seriously affects mental health
