I don't think anything will ever top this series for me
I loved every bit of this series. The portrayal of the characters to the acting and the memorable OSTs. Everything's almost perfect!I've seen so many complains about the fighting scenes saying they're "cringy" , which to me is complete bs, cause the fight scenes were quite realistically portrayed. The characters and their emotions were well conveyed.

I haven't been watching lots of kdrama, but I happened to start this while I was bored. This is so damn good that I've now started watching more and more kdramas.WHC has good story, great acting and great casts.
The acting is really terrific, kudos to park jihoon for delivering sieun so well; someone whose only purpose in live was to study and get good grades, with a no-nonsense attitude in facing bullies and other people.
And then we got the 180 after Suho got hurt. Such amazing scenes in episode 7 & 8. Very well done.
I wish it had been longer, and I wish they banded together vs Beomseok's dad instead of having him as the antagonist, but I understand it was based on a manhwa. I don't fully understand why OBS did what he did, but I can't hate him either. Again, I wish we had explored more on their relationship, either between the trio or between obs & his dad.

BANGER
If you havent, PLEAAASE watch this. It had me completely obsessed. I was foaming at the mouth waiting for the second season. Each individual character has the capacity to be relatable. I don't think I've found myself more than I did with Si-eun, as basic as that may sound. The relationship between sieun and suho seems so utterly deep, the kind of thing where you can't really understand unless you're directly in their brain. I really miss watching this series for the first time, it felt like ascending lowk

Intense and immersive
The acting : the strongest point of this Kdrama. I will talk only about the main male lead of this drama but keep in mind that the others leads were exceptionnally great in their role too. I want you to discover it by yourself. Ji Hoon truly and exceptionanlly fits the character, and his acting is insane the way he conveys the emotions of a weak hero is so powerful. The story was great overall but I did not really like the story with the girl and her brother. The other stories were absolutely great!
The music fits the drama although I do not really appreciate the ost "hero" by meego. The others are great to listen and fits the atmosphere of the drama.
The rewatch value: No doubt the rewatch value is high. I cannot wait for the season two.

weak hero class 1000/10
episode 2 pa lang, mixed emotions ka na bakla, and also the betrayal .. iba ang nagagawa ng galit. This teach us that don't trust easily, even if close friends pa natin sila,we really can’t tell kung anong kayang gawin sayo ng isang tao they really can't control their own devil inside their own. And on the other hand, some friends are genuine and real. They would help you when you are in need, you needed to choose your friends carefully. I realized that, there’s nothing wrong about communicating your feelings to someone, mas mahirap pa if magkaroon ng mis-understanding kaya naging malala yung situation. Laking impact ng series na ‘to sakin, it might change my perspective about trusting people. From the 1st episode to the 8th episode (finale) it satisfied me a lot, kind of disappointed kasi bakit ngayon ko lang sya naisipan panoorin kahit na ik this movie way back 2022 pa. Park Ji Hoon deserves so much awards, and also pati production nila and lahat ng casts, ang galing nila umacting. seserve nila humakot ng award.
I’m looking forward sa s2 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
i have so much range kay seok sa episode 5 & 6, would you let your friend dīe? paying someone to béat up your friend just because you’re jealous? I am not invalidating bum seok though, sana manlang sinabi niya yung mga nangyari sakanya sa past for sure maiintindihan nila ‘yan, i kind of understand him in some point, even in a tiniest change of how my friends treat me I kind of overthunk it a lot. Throughout all his life he was underestimated by everyone. Misunderstanding really hits diff

watched 12/23-25
not sure what i was expecting when i fist jumped into this but it wasn't bad at all i liked the buildup of the friendships in the beginning and the acting was incredible. i do prefer the first half of the show but the tension that happened afterward just showed how traumatic and life changing decisions around bullying and assault can change someone's life. it does get frustrating and hard to watch at times so i wouldn't recommend to someone who doesn't enjoy violent scenes as it shows in almost every ep. maybe im the only one confused but im not sure how soo ho ended up in the end? was he dead or did he survive? what i found most frustrating was how beom seok had so many chances to apologize and change his actions before he could hurt another person but just failed to do so in every chance he gets? i understand he was bullied several times & harassed by his own dad at home and i actually felt bad for him in the beginning but i feel like if he just talked things out with the group things would be different than they ended up being, which i feel like was kind of the whole point of the show (how bullying influences/ changes people?) anyways shi eun was such a good character and ji hoon was incredibleWas this review helpful to you?

the violence
the violence is so much in this drama, like the whole characters are fighting each other, the fighting scenes are so cruel to the eyes like the scene between si eun and woo Young ,it was so strong and cruel and something else at the end of the season si eun transferred school and I can tell is something worse like there's a lot of bullies in there , and in this drama the bully scenes are a lot in different ways like the physical or verbal bully ,and the bullies were so strong and at the end it was like a gangWas this review helpful to you?
Park Ji-hoon’s performance as Yeon Si-eun is nothing short of phenomenal. He portrays quiet strength, intelligence, and vulnerability with such nuance that you can’t look away. Si-eun doesn’t fight with muscles but with strategy and resilience — a refreshing, heartbreaking twist on the usual “hero.”
The cinematography perfectly matches the tone: cold colors, tight framing, and silent pauses that speak louder than dialogue. Every punch, every bruise, and every tear feels deliberate — not glorified, but deeply human. The violence is never for shock value; it’s storytelling through pain.
What truly elevates this series is the bond between Si-eun, Beom-seok, and Su-ho. Their friendship is pure yet fragile — a glimpse of hope in a brutal world. When that bond shatters, the impact is devastating because it feels real.
The writing is sharp and fearless, exposing not just physical violence but the psychological scars that follow. It asks important questions about masculinity, isolation, and what it truly means to be strong.
“Weak Hero Class 1” is short but unforgettable. It ends not with victory, but with reflection — reminding us that strength isn’t about fighting harder, but about surviving with your humanity intact. A haunting, beautifully made masterpiece that lingers long after the credits roll.

blood
- blood (kind of a TW)- kind of brutally
- broken (I think the main characters were sad or depressed since beginning)
The acting was incredible and I really loved the story but I hate the end. I want them to have a better ending because I think they will just live a sader life than before. The moments when they were had me smiling that’s why I want a different ending! I wonder why they didn’t speak it out and didn’t try to find a solution because it seemed like they didn’t want to fall apart. Or am I wrong?
